All for you
Chapter Four

The others watched the young couple silently. Tyson was just about to say something, but Mr Dickenson shook his head and the young boy seemed to understand the hidden message. The old man then made sure that they all left the room in order for Kai and Kisara to be completely alone. None of them even seem to notice that they left. Not even when the door silently closed they turned their attention away from each other.

Only a few minutes passed, but for Kai, they felt like an eternity. He couldn’t believe what was happening. She was really here. He felt her soft body against his, he smelt her, he could see her. She was here for real, not only in his dreams.

He took hold of her shoulders gently and pulled her away slightly.

“I can’t believe you’re back,” he said. She smiled warmly at him, but then her smile faded and her eyes filled up with tears.

“I’m so sorry,” she whispered. “I tried to find you, but I…” She silenced when Kai put his fingers to her lips to quiet her down.

“Sch,” he said softly. “It doesn’t matter anymore. You’re here now and that’s all that matters.” Kisara’s eyes widened and glittering tears began to run down her cheeks.

“Kai…”

He smiled at her with warm eyes and Kisara felt her heart start beating faster. God, how she had missed him! Meeting him again only made her remember how hard it had been for her without him. How could she possibly have lived without him for almost seven years?
They sat down in the couch, her hand holding on to his.

“There is only one thing I still don’t understand,” Kai said. “How did you survive? I saw the guards drag you away, I heard Boris tell them to get rid of you. How did you ever manage to escape?”

Kisara sighed deeply, her eyes ever so sad.

“I barely did survive,” she whispered as she closed her eyes, her mind going back to the day she was thrown out of the abbey…

*~*~*~ FLASHBACK *~*~*~

Kisara screamed and squirmed, hopelessly trying to get away from the two guards that were dragging her into the deep forests that surrounded the abbey. They had to go far. It wouldn’t look good if the police would find a little girl’s dead body too near the abbey. It would draw attention and it definitely would be a nuisance for Voltaire’s research.

She received a kick in her ribs to quiet her down, and it worked. She whimpered with pain as she felt the taste of blood in her mouth. Blood began to trickle from the corner of her mouth and she remained quiet. She even cried completely soundlessly.

She didn’t know for how long they walked, she completely lost track of time as they got further and further away from the abbey. The way to their destination certainly wasn’t easy since the guards now and then got bored and used her as a punching bag to lighten themselves up. Eventually she was so weakened she couldn’t go on and they had to drag her by her feet.

Finally their long walk came to an end. However, for Kisara, it was a final destination. The guards dumped her on the snowy cold ground. One of them laughed evilly.

“How should we take care of this one? Fast and without much suffering, or slow and painful?”

The other guard, who was a little bit more kind-heartedly than his friend gave him a confused look.

“Come on, let’s just finish this quick. Don’t you think she’s suffered enough already?”

The first guard looked a bit surprised at him but then burst out laughing.

“Since when did you turn into such a soft hearted man, Jura?”

“I have not!”

His companion smiled evilly.

“Then prove it to me. Kill her. Slowly.”

Jura hesitated for a few seconds before looking down on the almost unconscious girl that laid by his feet.

‘I’m sorry, little girl. May you live a happier life in the afterworld,’ he thought before he delivered a hard kick in her stomach. She gasped deeply for breath, eyes wide open as his foot connected with her chest the next time. The other guard stood by the side watching them. His eyes shined with amusement.

The abuse continued until she lost her conscious. Jura stopped as he noticed that she wasn’t moving anymore. He was covered in blood.

“Is she dead already?” His companion almost sounded disappointed. Jura bent down Kisara, careful not to step in the pool of blood that began to spread around the frail body.

“No, she’s barely alive,” Jura stated. “I’m amazed she’s still alive.” He turned to his friend. “Come on, let’s go.”

“What?” the other guard burst out. “But she’s not even dead yet! Our mission was to kill the girl, not let her live!”

“She’s as good as dead already,” Jura replied coldly. “Besides, you wanted to give her a slow and painful death. Here you have it. She’ll freeze to death in a matter of minutes unless her wounds won’t kill her first. Either way she’s dead.”

“Hm, I guess you’re right. I’m getting tired of this anyway and besides, it’s freaking cold out here! Let’s go back now.”

Jura nodded and followed his friend after giving the little girl a last glance. They soon disappeared into the shadows.

Kisara couldn’t move. Not even if she wanted to. She laid their in the pool of her own blood and felt how life slowly left her.

‘Why… why have I been forced to endure all these horrible things in my life so far…?’ she thought as her mind began to dim. ‘All I ever wanted was to be a normal kid… is that really so much to ask? All I ever wanted… was to be loved… no one ever loved me… except… Kai…’

Kisara slowly closed her eyes as her body began to go numb and cold. A picture of Kai appeared in her mind as a last breath escaped her lips.

‘Kai… I… love… you…’

*~*~*~ END FLASHBACK *~*~*~

“I woke up in a hospital a month later,” Kisara said silently. “Apparently I had been in a coma and that explains why I have no memories from the time I was hospitalized. The only things I know are the ones I’ve been told.”

“But how did you ever survive?” Kai wondered.

“An elderly couple found me. They were the ones that brought me to the hospital. They grew quite fond of me and came to visit me every day. I liked them very much. And when I was allowed to leave the hospital, they adopted me.” Kisara smiled by the memory. “They brought me to their home outside of Moscow where they ran an old training facility for Beyblading where they taught poor, russian kids how to beyblade. With the skills I had from my training in the abbey, I was a real help to them. They were both old and didn’t have the energy to continue teaching anymore, so I took over their work. None of them wanted to close the school, since they both loved it so much. That’s why I did my best to keep it running. However… they died only sixth months ago.”

“I’m sorry.”

“It’s alright. Since they didn’t have any other children or relatives, they left everything they owned to me. After their death I began looking for you. You see… I never told anyone about the abbey. I feared… that if the police would begin to investigate Voltaire’s business, he would hurt all the children in the abbey. I know you still remember what happened when the police grew suspicious to what was going on in the abbey. Voltaire got rid of at least half of the children in the abbey, only keeping us ‘stronger’ and more ‘perfect’ children. I couldn’t take the risk. I know I should have… but I couldn’t…”

“It’s not your fault,” Kai said comfortingly.

“After that… I began to search for you. When I heard you had left the abbey years ago I was heartbroken. I heard you had returned to Japan shortly after my… disappearance, and I didn’t know how to find you. I didn’t have enough money to search for you either. But then I heard you had joined the Bladebreakers. I’ve been cheering for you all along, wishing you would win so that you and your team would make it here to Russia. I knew it was my only hope if I was ever to find you again. And you did. You made it all the way here to Russia. So, I sold the house, the school, everything, and went here to Moscow. I have nothing left. I gave it all up to find you. And I did.”

She smiled at him and Kai felt his heart ache for her. For all these years… she had been all alone. He had been alone too, a lost soul without a single friend in the entire world. But then he had met Tyson and the others and his lived changed and even tough he hated to admit it, they made him happy and he really cared for them. But she… she didn’t have anyone. As if she had read his mind, she asked:

“What’s going to happen to me now?”

Kai looked at her silently. He already knew the answer to that question, it was so obvious. He cupped her cheek and looked deep into her eyes.

“You’re staying with me,” he said. “When we leave for Japan, I want you to come with me. I’ve already lost you once, I will not loose you again.”

She smiled warmly at him before she wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him into a loving embrace.

“Thank you…” she whispered against his shoulder, her voice muffled. He smiled slightly, placing a hand behind her head as he leant his cheek against her soft hair. At once his life seemed to have a new meaning. He knew that she would never leave his side, and he didn’t want her to either. They only had each other and he would never let her go.

-------------------

A few hours passed and Kai and Kisara hadn’t still left the room.

“They sure are taking their time in there,” Tyson muttered. They had all moved to Kai’s and Ray’s room when Mr Dickenson drove them out so that the young couple could be alone.

“Aw, come on, Tyson!” Ray burst out. “They have been separated for all these years. Let them have some time alone. I’m sure they have lots of catching up to do.”

Mariah looked lovingly at him and squeezed his hand. Ray smiled warmly at her and kissed her tenderly on the cheek.

“Kai must be so happy,” she said softly.

“Yeah,” Ray whispered.

‘She must really love him…’ Mariah thought to herself as she rested her head against Ray’s shoulder. ‘I can’t even imagine what they must have been going through, unable to be with each other… To think that he lived all alone… not knowing that she was still alive and looking for him. It must have been hard… I don’t understand how anyone of them survived the pain, I know I sure wouldn’t. If something should happen to Ray… I would die, I know I would. So strong they must be! So strong their love must be…’

“Mariah? Are you alright? You’re crying…” Ray stated. Mariah woke up from her thoughts as Ray’s worried voice reached her mind. She looked surprised at him and realized that he was right. She was crying.

“I’m fine,” she said and quickly wiped away her tears. “Oh?”

They all looked up when Kai entered the room, Kisara standing close to him. She was smiling slightly with warm eyes, he was looking they way he always did; indifferent. Mariah gave the young woman a big, warm smile which Kisara happily returned.

“Kisara’s staying with us,” Kai then said. “She’s returning to Japan with me.” He gave the others his infamous death glare, almost as if he feared that anyone would object. No one did, but you never knew right?

“I hope it’s alright with you all?” Kisara wondered with her soft voice, her tone a lot friendlier than Kai’s.

Mariah rose from her seat and walked up to her, taking her hand and squeezing it comfortingly.

“Of course it’s alright!” she smiled. “You can stay with me in my room, it’s just down the hall. My name’s Mariah by the way.”

“Thank you, Mariah,” Kisara said, tears of gratitude started to fill her eyes.

“Come on, let’s go so you can unpack! I’ll help you,” the pink-haired blader cheerfully said.

Kisara smiled happily. She looked at Kai, her eyes shining with joy and he nodded silently, a small smile on his face. The two girls then left the room hand in hand as they went down to the lobby to get Kisara’s bag which the receptionist had taken care of.

“I hope I’m not too straightforward,” Mariah said apologetically.

“No, I’m very grateful. You have been so kind to me,” Kisara said softly. “I… I have never had a friend who’s a girl before, I don’t know anything about it…”

“Don’t worry,” Mariah assured her with a warm smile. “I’m sure we’ll get along well.”

“Me too.”

The two girls got the bag and then returned to Mariah’s room where the female neko-jin helped her new friend to unpack. It was the beginning of a close friendship between the two girls that would last for their entire lives.

-------------------

A few days later…

As the days went on, Kai and Kisara spent their entire time with each other. Just like Ray had said, they had a lot of catching up to do and they wasted no time.
Kai had never been happier before in his entire life, Ray and the others could tell that. Kisara had changed him more by just appearing than they had done in months. He was smiling more often and he would occasionally laugh – a warm laugh that they had never heard before. They were happy for him.

It was another cold day in Moscow. The Bladebreakers, Mariah and Kisara were out in the hotel garden. As usual, Kai and Kisara would stroll away from the others, speaking soft words that only they could hear.

Tyson looked wonderingly at the couple as they calmly walked towards the frozen fountain that laid in the middle of the hotel garden. They sat down on the edge and apparently Kai said something because Kisara started to giggle as her cheeks turned a little red – and it was not because of the cold.

“Hey, you guys,” he whispered. “Don’t you think Kai has been acting kinda… funny, lately?”

“Hm? How do mean ‘funny’?” Ray said while giving him a puzzled look.

“You know!” Tyson hissed. “He’s acting all gallant and stuff whenever she comes near him and he actually smiles…! Something’s wrong here, I tell ya!”

“Aw come on, Tyson,” Max sighed. “You’re just being ridiculous.”

Ray and Mariah gave each other a knowing smile. Their friends maybe were a bit too naive to understand what was going on, but they sure weren’t. Both of them had seen the looks the stoic teen and Kisara had given each other.

“Just leave them alone, Tyson, and they’ll take care of this by themselves,” Ray said.

“Huh? What do you mean?” Tyson wondered bewildered. Ray just smiled and placed an arm around Mariah’s waist before gazing over to Kai and Kisara, who had now fallen silent.

Kai noticed how Kisara was playing with something in the pocket of her long, white jacket.

“What have you got there?” he wondered. Kisara looked surprised at him before she smiled and took the object out. Kai’s eyes widened slightly.

“You still have that?” he asked. She smirked and looked down on the silvery and white beyblade that rested in the palm of her hand.

“You didn’t think I would let Boris have this, would you?” she giggled. “No, Dranira belongs to me.”

“Dranira…” Kai whispered. He remembered her. Dranira was Kisara’s bitbeast, a Pegasus. He looked at the bit where a snow white Pegasus was rearing up with its wings spread wide as it was to fly away.

“I haven’t used her for a while though,” Kisara said softly. “I feel sorry for her, having to spend so much time in her bit.”

“I’m sure she’s fine,” Kai smiled. She looked at him with sparkling eyes, her heart was racing and her cheeks turning a light shade of red. They had only been together for a few days, but she found herself being drawn to him more and more. Her feelings had changed. She had always loved him, but then they had only been kids, it had been so innocent, now it was different. She wasn’t a child anymore and neither was he.

Their eyes locked and they gazed deep into each others eyes. Kai felt his blood rushing. He had started to have these feelings whenever she came near him during these last few days. Every time she looked at him and every time she touched him, all he wanted was to pull her into his arms and hold her.
He suddenly felt himself leaning in closer to her, his lips slightly parted. Her eyes began closing as she felt his breath against her lips. Her body throbbed, she felt warm all over and she felt that familiar tingling sensation between her legs.

“Hey, guys!!”

Tyson’s voice made both of them jump and they immediately pulled apart.

“What?!” Kai snarled at him with growing irritation.

“We’re going back to our rooms!” Tyson shouted, obviously not noticing the deadly looks Kai gave him. “Are you two coming or what?”

“Yeah, we’re coming,” Kai hissed and stood up. Kisara slowly got to her feet, her cheeks burning red with embarrassment. They walked up to their friends who waited for them and then they returned in to the hotel. Kai and Kisara walked behind Mariah and Ray and behind them came Tyson, Max and Kenny.
Neither Kai nor Kisara said anything. She felt too embarrassed to say anything and he just felt stupid and angry.

“Last one to our room is a twerp!” Max suddenly called out and rushed ahead. The others just looked surprised at him as he disappeared along the corridor.

“Hey, Maxie! Wait up!” Tyson cried out and darted after his best friend. In his hurry to catch up with Max, he accidentally gave Kai a push that sent him crashing into Kisara.

Kisara gasped as he pinned her up against the wall, his hands on each of her sides, his face merely inches away from her own. She felt his strong, muscular body being pressed against her own, and again she felt that throbbing feeling between her legs.

Kai stared deep into her eyes. She was staring back at him, her cheeks turning scarlet red. He blushed too as he felt her soft breasts against his own hard chest. He blushed even deeper as he felt himself getting hard.

“Eh… are you guys going to stand there for long…?”

Ray’s voice brought them both back to reality and they noticed that Ray, Mariah and Kenny were staring at them. Kenny was blushing immensely and hid behind Dizzy, though he peeked over the screen now and then.

They immediately pulled apart, both blushing deeply. Mariah gave Ray a knowing wink and he smirked in response before they turned and continued walking to their rooms. Kisara wasn’t late too follow them and Kai began to slowly walk after them.

‘I must be crazy…’ he thought as he shook his head.

-------------------

Several hours later…

Kisara sighed deeply as she flopped down on the large bed in her and Mariah’s room. She had just gotten back from the hotel restaurant where she had eaten the dinner of her life. She placed a hand on her swollen stomach and moaned. She felt the same way Tyson looked after enjoying a large buffet.

“Ugh… I’m full…” she muttered to herself as she felt how her eyelids began to flutter. “I’m so tired… I ate too much… Maybe I should rest just for a few minutes…” She yawned widely and then drifted off into a deep sleep.

*~*~*~ FLASHBACK *~*~*~

Kisara was trembling with fear as she stood before the large wooden desk. Boris wasn’t paying her any attention as he continued to go through his papers. She had been brought to his own personal chamber, that wasn’t good. She didn’t dare to say anything, she knew she would be in more trouble if she did.

“So…” Boris finally said. “I heard you lost another battle today? What was it? Your third loss in a row?” She could clearly make out the mockery in his voice.

“Yes, sir…” she whispered, keeping her head down.

“Who did you loose to all those times?”

“K-Kai, sir.”

“Ah, I see…” Boris chuckled evilly and rose from his seat. Kisara bit her lip as she heard him walk up to her. She was scared – real scared. She didn’t look up at him as he stopped in front of her.

“How come you can’t win against him?” Boris asked her, no his tone was irritated.

“Because he’s stronger than me, sir.”

“Hmpf. I don’t even understand why Voltaire is so persistent to keep you. We don’t need weak little girls here in the abbey. Although…” Kisara’s eyes widened as he ran his fingers through her long silky hair. “You are a beautiful child. For some reason you remind me of him…” he didn’t finish the sentence and Kisara tensed as she felt his hand travel down her neck and further down her back.
Too afraid to say anything she felt his hand touch her bottom. She knew it was wrong, she didn’t want him to touch her this way, but she feared him too much to move away.

She was scared – and confused. Boris hated her, she could see that in his eyes every time he looked at her and he hurt her in every way he could. She knew he wanted to throw her out of the abbey, he had wanted that from the moment she came to the abbey. If it wasn’t for Voltaire, she probably would be dead already.

“Take off your clothes,” Boris commanded. Kisara did what she was told, she was used to obey orders, although this one was unfamiliar to her. She knew she was about to be punished, but she didn’t know in what way. Perhaps she was going to be whipped again? She certainly hoped not, her wounds from the last whipping hadn’t fully healed yet.

It was cold in the room. She shivered slightly as chills crept down her naked body. Boris stared at her. Her body was still a young girl’s with the flat chest and buttocks, but he suspected that she one day probably would become an attractive woman – if she ever lived to see that day.

Kisara kept her gaze on the floor. She desperately wanted to get the punishment over and done with so that she could return to Kai and the others. Why was he waiting? Boris loved to punish her. He would always come up with reasons to beat her up, even though she hadn’t done anything wrong. Right now, for example. He knew very well that she wasn’t strong enough to beat Kai, she never would be, and like today he probably had been bored and allowed her and Kai to beybattle, just so he would have a ‘legitimate’ reason to beat the crap out of her.

But all the beatings before had all had something in common – they were extremely painful, but quick. She didn’t understand why he was taking his time this time. Usually she would have received at least a slap by now. She had to admit that the waiting scared her more than the beatings that awaited her. She tensed as he kneeled behind her and buried his face in her long hair, nuzzling her neck.

“You smell really good, little one,” he breathed into her ear, his voice hoarse. Kisara gasped when she felt his tongue lick her shoulder. What was he doing?

“You’re such a beauty…” Boris continued. “If only you were a boy…” Kisara started to breathe heavier with fear as she felt the man’s hand move down her stomach and then touch her between her legs. She felt how his fingers demanded entrance.

‘No!’ she thought desperately. ‘This is wrong, I know it!’ She suddenly felt sick, she had never touched herself in those places, and feeling the man she feared the most do it certainly didn’t make her feel any better. She tried to squirm away from the loathsome man and received a slap across the face in response.

“How dare you disobey my orders?!” he snarled at her as he backhanded her again. Kisara was dizzy from the power in his blows, she almost lost consciousness, but then she felt how he begun to drag her across the room, towards a large bed. She didn’t understand what he was doing, she knew nothing of the adult world. But when he threw her down on the bed and lowered himself over her before she could escape, she began to understand. He quickly removed his own clothes and again she felt his despicable hands touch her body in ways she hated.

Kisara screamed in agony and despair as Boris entered her without warning. He thrusted deep, relishing the feeling and the smell of blood. Kisara felt as if she was being torn apart. The pain was excruciating, she screamed in deepest agony as he thrusted again, deeper this time.

‘Why…?’ she thought as tears rose in her eyes. ‘So much pain… so much suffering… do I really deserve all this?’

That was the first time Boris raped her, and it wouldn’t be the last. Kisara was only six at the time, but the rapings would continue until the day she was being forced to leave the abbey.

“Kai…” she mouthed to herself before she screamed again, her voice ringing through the entire building.

*~*~*~ END FLASHBACK *~*~*~

Kisara woke up screaming. She sat up in the bed, sweat pouring down her brow. She placed a hand to her chest, trying to bring her breathing down back to normal. Her heart was beating like crazy inside her chest. Tears were streaming down her cheeks as she buried her face in her hands. Memories from her past life in the abbey would sometimes catch up with her, but that memory was the one that was the hardest to endure.
Kisara swallowed hard, trying not to throw up. She took a deep breath and tried to bring her pulse down.

‘Why can’t I leave that memory behind me?’ she thought sadly. ‘Even apart from my life in the abbey, that man haunts me. I haven’t seen him in years and still he haunts my dreams…’

She looked up as the door opened and Mariah entered with a wide smile.

“Hiya!” she chirped, but her smile faded when she saw Kisara’s tears and she hurried over to her friend. “Kisara, are you alright? You’re crying…”

“What? Oh yes, I’m fine. Just had a bad dream, that’s all.” Kisara tried to smile convincingly, but Mariah didn’t seem to fall for it, although she didn’t ask anymore questions.

“Oh, okay…” she said slowly. “Hey, the guys wanted to go down to the hotel’s beystadium, wanna come?”

“Yeah, sure,” Kisara smiled. She climbed out of the bed and followed Mariah down the hall. Mariah kept talking about something, but Kisara’s mind was somewhere else. Images of Boris raping her kept rushing through her mind and she realized that she would probably never be rid of them completely. She had already tried to forget a few of the memories from her past life, but some wounds never heal as they say.
She would always carry some scars in her soul, scars that would never fully heal and knowing that only opened up new wounds in her already wounded soul.
