Chapter 5
Chapter 5
Duo shot up toward the twelve foot beast much faster then Trowa could even hope to catch up to him. Trowa was pretty much left in Duo’s bubbles.
Heero happened to look into the water and see the shark coming with its mouth open. He knew how to avoid this now that he saw it he dived under the water toward the shark. As he did he saw Duo was flying up from the depths toward the shark who was un aware of Duo.
Heero felt very touched in his heart by this act, even though Heero had treated him like rat shit. Duo was still willing to take on a twelve foot shark for him. Duo swam up and got on the sharks back and dug his long sharp claws into the Sharks chest. He ripped the shark open killing him right away but of course making a bloody cloud in the water which would attract more sharks.
Trowa couldn’t believe Duo would kill a shark for a human, he wouldn’t tell his father about this and he didn’t know Duo to be that strong. Something odd defiantly came over his brother.
Heero swam back up toward the surface now seeing the danger had been taken care of he gasped as his head came above the waves. Duo let the dead shark go ”Sorry pal you can’t eat him you’ll be food for your buddies now” Duo sighed and let the bloody fish go and swam up after Heero and popped up next to him.
“Ye must be a mad fish fer saving me hide like that,” Heero said right away when he saw Duo. “I thank ye, I wanted to give ye yer crown back as well.” Heero said bring it up out of the water.
Duo nodded and took the crown from Heero’s hand and placed it back on his head, “you should not be swimming out in open waters you’ll be shark food.” Duo said making sure the crown would stay firm on his head now.
Heero wanted to pull Duo into his body and kiss him he had never felt so happy in all his life. Now that Heero finally got to see Duo again the one who haunted him ever since he was stolen away from him by that other sea creature to him he was no short then the devil. “Aye ye be right but I wanted to see ye again,” Heero said reaching his hand out and was about to touch Duo’s cheek when Trowa came up between them swiftly and grabbed Heero’s hand.
Trowa hissed angrily at Heero, “back off of my brother you land bastard!” Trowa said showing off his sharp fangs to the pirate king. Trowa held Heero’s hand a few feet over his head.
“Trowa!” Duo protested, “leave him alone he wasn’t going to hurt me it be stupid to do that in the water I could kill him so easily now you know!” Duo said putting his hand on Trowa’s shoulder.
“Aye the young mer lad be right!” Heero said trying to pull away from the very strong hand that was holding his wrist at bay.
Trowa narrowed his pretty green eyes at Heero in a very none trusting like way. Duo swam around and hugged Heero from behind “Trowa Stop please!” Duo said nuzzling Heero’ on his cheek” This is my human go find your own!”
Trowa huffed” FINE if that is how you want it then I will go find my own stupid little brother!” Trowa said letting Heero’s hand go and swam off toward the ships feeling so pissed off at his brother at the moment. Though he knew what he was doing was dangers but now he did want his own human he thought.
“Your human?” Heero said looking back at the small young Merlad who still clinging to his back.
“Yes mine,” Duo nodded but sighed not happy to have made Trowa swim off angry at him but it appeared he wasn’t to angry with him. So he was content to hug on to Heero. Heero wasn’t seeming to mind either.
