Hey everyone how�s it going? Well sorry again for last chapter that was real short.
I was just going brain dead. =p Anyways here is the next installment and I do hope it is longer. Again sorry for any errors in advance I have no beta and I never even catch my errors. XD

Chapter 59

A lone figure lay at the bottom of the tree trunk, the leaves stretching forward covering the figure with a cool shade. In his hand he held a small leather covered book as he held it close to his face, as if he tried to avoid the outside world.

�Kai!� a voice called out to young man resting on the green grass.

He did not bother to even look up. He did not wish to be bothered by anyone he just wanted to be alone. Of course he knew it was not going to happen. The sound of footsteps stepping on the green grass was heard.

�Kai I know you can hear me.� Once again the voice called out to him.

The one named Kai gave a sigh and looked up seeing an annoyed looking red head staring back at him.

�What do you want from me Tala?�

�Don�t go asking me what I want! You know exactly why I am here. I am challenging you to a fencing match!� He pointed at the dual hair that still stayed in his position.

�Honestly Tala I am tired of your games.� He closed his book and slowly lifted himself off the grass.

�I am not saying games! Kai I am determine to finally beat you!� he moved back as the dual hair stood up and was now facing him. �Every since we were in junior high you and I always fought for the number one rank.�

�You were the one who started that. I really don�t care. Now if you are done ranting we need to get to class.�

Kai moved the red head aside and began to walk off leaving Tala standing in his place.

�Kai! Wait! Are you some sort of chicken! Kai I will beat you one of these days! I promise you that!� he yelled over at the dual hair that only kept walking off.

Kai opened the door to the large classroom and made his way inside. The room was busy being loud with students talking amongst each other while they waited for the arrival of their teacher. The dual hair stuck his hands in his pockets and made his way up the stairs towards the back desks.

�Morning Kai!� a brunette headed girl waved at the dual hair as she watched him make his way behind them.

�Kai do you want to hang out today after school! Some of the others girls want to go to the mall and go to that new ice cream shop. Wanna join?� a girl with short black hair giggled as she stared at him.

The dual hair just looked at them and gave a small nod. Causing the group of girls to all giggle amongst themselves.

Kai sat himself down, placing his book bag on the floor next to him. He just looked around his surroundings watching everyone interact. His eyes went down to the group of girls that invited him to the mall and just watched them as they happily giggled and alk amongst themselves.

It was the same everyday, girls would always try to get him to go out him and just try to become someone special to him while the guys just try hard to be his best friend. It made him sick.

�Okay class please take your seats.� An older man with glasses walked inside the classroom.

With that the entire class soon got in order and the sound of a bell sounded (A/N: the way a grandfather clock sounds like)

�Okay everyone good morning. I hope you all studied very hard cause we are about to start our test today. Please put away all your things but your pen�� Before he was able to finish his sentence the door to the classroom opened.

�Uh excuse me. Sorry I�m late.� A quiet voice called out from behind the door.

�Ah good to see you show up today Wyatt. Please hurry up and sit down. We are about to start the test.�

�Ah yes sir!� the boy name Wyatt quickly closed the door and made his way up the stairs towards the back seats.

Kai�s dark red colored eyes followed the brunette as he made his way up the stairs and the row of seats he was seated at. Wyatt caught the stare of the dual hair causing him to blush and quickly look away as he sat himself down two chairs away from Kai.

His attention went back to the front as he watched the old teacher take out some papers and began to hand them out.

�You should really leave your home earlier.� He said to the boy.

Wyatt looked at the dual hair in surprise and just blushed and shyly nodded his head.

�Okay you have the whole class time to finish this test. Good luck!� and with that everyone started their exam.

�Good morning Rei. How are you feeling today?� A petite blond nurse cheerfully greeted the raven hair that sat up on his bed.

Rei nodded and gave a tiny smile. �Pretty good.�

She walked over to his bed and helped him sit up properly. She then began to look him over. �You feeling hungry? I brought some breakfast for you.� She gave a cheery smile.

� I am not really hungry.�

She placed the tray of food on the small moveable table located next to his bed and pushed it towards him. �Sorry hun� you need to eat at least something. Now you don�t need to eat it all but just have some bites here and there okay?� she smiled at him.

The raven hair just gave a sigh and a light nod and grabbed his fork.

The nurse felt victorious as she saw the young man slowly eating at his meal.

�As soon as you are finished I will be back to check on you then the doctor will give you a quick check up to make sure you are well to go home.� She gave him a wave and stepped out of the room.

As soon as the door to his room closed tears began to spill down Rei�s face. The fork made a clatter noise as it slipped from the raven hair�s hand and unto the plate holding his meal.

He wished it was all just a horrible nightmare but he woke up in the hospital and he knew that all the torture he went through was not some sick joke his mind was playing on him.
He covered his face as imagines of what had occurred to him began to flash back in front of him.

He began to cry harder as he realized he was raped brutally and not just once but over and over. He wanted to just die. He felt so much shame. Not only because he was raped but raped by a crazed man. He felt weak and pathetic. He didn�t want to live any more. His life was not going perfect.

What now? Will he be afraid to go out and leave his house? Will this cause him to go back home? What about his parents? His mother would for sure freak and cry and blame herself for what happened to her little boy. His father would feel the pain too, he might not cry but it will affect him. He would cause his father so much more pain then the loss of his leg.

He wondered and wondered all these sort of thoughts just continued racing through his head. Causing more and more hot tears to stream down his face.

�How will Kai see me now?� he thought to himself. �Kai��

The dual hair loved him but now that his body was violated and damaged will he love Rei the way he is? Would he want to touch him knowing he was dirtied but another man?

Why? What will happen now? He was in so much pain and so confused. He just wanted to runaway. �Kai�I�m scared�.�

The sound of a whistle echoed in the air. � Time to make teams! Kai you go first!� a tall well fit older man in workout clothing shouted.

The dual hair just shrugged his shoulders and began to scan around the group of boys. He never liked picking people. He rather not even be in a team just to play a silly game of soccer.

�I will take Roger.� He said

The boy name Roger gave a small �yes� as he jogged over to his team captain.

�Tala your turn.� The man called out to the red head that continue looking at Kai with an angry look.

The red head wanted to just walk over and sock the dual hair in the face. Something about the other boy really bothered him. He always carried this high and mighty look on his face. That really pissed him off.

�Tala stop drooling over your crush and pick!� the coach yelled at him.

Everyone started laughing as the red head�s face turned the color of his hair.

�I am sorry sir. I will take Ryan.�

After a few moments of picking the teams were finally formed. �Okay let�s have a good game!� with that he gave a blow of the whistle and the game started.

�Wyatt aren�t you going to play!� another student who was running the track called out to the brunette who sat on the benches.

Wyatt just gave a nod. The other boy just shrugged his shoulders and continued running the track with his classroom.

In truth the boy always wanted to join in P.E. but he was never very good any anything that they were to do. His body was so weak and fragile. All he was ever allowed to do was sit on the bench and watch. He found it real sad. But his over protective mother worried about him and ended up getting a doctor�s note to excuse him for P.E. until he graduates.

He gave a sigh as he watched the other boys play soccer. His eyes were mostly focused on the dual hair captain. He admired how well fit the tall boy was. His eyes followed every move Kai did. How he quickly dodged the other opponents as he quickly sneaked right by with the ball.

�I wish I had a body like that.� He quietly said to himself.

A loud high pitch scream was heard right next to the brunette causing him to wince as it echoed through his ear. He glanced over and saw a group of girls with pom-poms in their hands.

The cheerleading squad who were practice a while ago were now screaming and cheering on the dual hair. That was another thing about the dual hair that Wyatt admired. Not only was he smart, talented, and well fit�he was also very popular with the ladies, and occasionally the men.

�Go Kai!� one of the girls called out louder. She jumped up and down waving her pom-poms around as she watched in glee the dual hair.

Of course this girl had to fall for the dual hair. Wyatt looked at her. Her long black hair shone in the sunlight as it bounced up and down when she did. Her flawless porcelain skin gave a glow as she watched in awe at the dual hair. Wyatt was sure he saw Kai mirrored in those blue eyes.

Nadia Kuznetsov was the one cheering for him. The popular girl and beautiful girl every guy in the whole school longed for.

Wyatt gave another sigh. He found it annoying hearing the screams of the girls fanning over the dual hair.

�Look out!� a loud cry was heard attracting the brunette�s attention.

Wham! A loud impact was heard. Wyatt was flat on his back as the soccer ball slowly rolled away.

�Wyatt! Son can you hear me?� the older coach hovered over the poor injured voice.

Slowly he began to open his eyes as he felt his senses coming back to him. He squinted and tried to make out the blurry figures. He saw the worried looking coach looking down on him and above him were other students and his sight caught hold of a stoic looking Kai watching down on him

�Kai�?� he weakly said.

The coach gave a loud sigh of relief as he heard the boy. �Thank goodness. For a minute there I thought you were dead.� He slowly lifted the brunette on his feet.

�What happened?� he stood up and slightly wobbled as he tried to straighten up.

The coach held the boy up, �A soccer ball smacked you hard in the face son. Now don�t move too much. Kai help Wyatt over to the nurse�s office.� He called out to the dual hair.

�Ah no need! I can go there on my own!� he pushed away from the older man and was about to walk away when he suddenly tumbled forward.

�Stop trying to be tough,� Kai told the brunette as he held him tightly in his arms.

The brunette just turned bright red and nodded as he felt Kai�s arms wrapped around his waist. With that the two made their way away from the field ad towards the large building.

�You really should stop daydreaming. Next time keep your attention away from the girls and try to focus on your surroundings.� He spoke to the embarrassed brunette as they walked towards the nurse�s office.

Wyatt nervously nodded and gave a small smile as they continued walking.

�Rei!� called out an overjoyed bluenette.

The other boy pounced on the raven hair that was sitting up on his bed. Rei felt a rush of breath escape him as he felt the hard impact against his body. He patted the other boy who was squeezing the air out of him.

�Uh Tyson I can�t breathe�can you?� he wince as the tight embrace never ended.

Tyson pulled back and gave a grin as he rubbed the back of his head. �Sorry buddy. I am just so relieved to see you.�

The raven hair just smiled at him.

�How are you feeling?� Mihaeru asked with a tone of concern in his voice.

The raven hair gave another smile. �I�m alive�

�I swear Rei I will find that sick bastard and make him pay for what he did to you.� Tyson held hard onto the raven hair�s hand as he felt the anger burn through him.

�Takao please let�s not talk about that.� The light blond spoke as he made his way towards where his lover.

�It�s fine Mihaeru�not like I would forget about it overnight.� He bowed his head slightly and gave a tiny smile.

His two friends felt the pain. They wished there was a way to help their friend in need. But no matter what no matter how many words they tell him, no matter how many times they tell him that it will be all right. They knew deep down in their hearts that the pain, the torment that he went through will be carved deeply in his heart.

�When are you going to be out?� Tyson spoke up.

�Um they said probably late afternoon the doctor just want to take a look at me one more time and make sure he didn�t miss anything.� The raven hair tossed the sheet away and moved over to the side, allowing his feet to touch the cold hospital floor.

�Shouldn�t you be laying down?� Mihaeru carefully watched the raven hair.

Rei stretched his arms up high until he heard a couple of pops letting him know his body just adjusted some tensed bones.

�I am tired of laying down, I feel like I am dying just staying in bed. I already slept so no point staying in bed.� He hunched forward.

The room stayed silent as the two boys watched the raven hair that was hunched forward his sight only focused on the pale white tiled floor.

The door to the room was opened causing them all to look over towards the mysterious guest.

�Is it okay if you have a few more visitors?� a deep voice called out.

The raven hair just gave a slight nod. �Come on in Brooklyn.�

The orange head stuck his head inside and gave a small smile as he saw the other boys inside. He walked in holding a bouquet of flowers in his hands. Behind him was the taller man Hitoshi.

The raven hair gave a chuckle as he saw the two older men. They both gave a look of confusion wondering what was amusing.

�Sorry. I just find it funny seeing you bring me flowers Brooklyn. Don�t get me wrong I appreciate it��

The orange head just shrugged his shoulders and walked over to the bed, he placed the flowers on the bed. He sat on the bed and placed his hand on Rei�s head and gave it a small rub.

�What happened to him?� the raven hair slightly glanced over at the other sitting on his bed.

Brooklyn knew Rei was asking about Boris. But how was he going to explain that the platinum hair was walking around freely.

�It�s fine, not like I can prove any of this happened anyways.� His gripped tightly on the sheets he was sitting on.

�Rei we will find you justice. This guy won�t get away with what he put you through.� Jin spoke out.

�Can you guys promise not to mention any of this to my parents?� he looked over to the group inside the room. Their eyes kept looking away as he begged them to keep his situation silent.

They all nodded their heads in agreement and once again the room went silent. Deep down they all knew that Rei�s pain should have been shared with his parents. But that was up to the raven hair. Eventually he would get he courage to let them know what occurred.

�Excuse me, I am coming in.� a deep voice called out causing everyone to look over at the door.

There at the door stood a man in a white coat. �Rei I just want to double check on you and then you can go home.�

�Then if you�ll excuse us. We will see you in a bit Rei.� Brooklyn patted the raven hair on the back. He removed himself from the bed and walked over to the other three and led them out of the room.

�Brooklyn we are planning on telling his parents right?� Jin questioned the orange head as they made their way to the waiting room. �Brook?�

Brooklyn gave out a sigh and ran his hand through his hair. �Rei made us promise�yet deep down I feel I must inform them.� He looked over to the other two boys who only walked in silence, �I really don�t know what to do.�

With that they all just sat themselves in the occupied waiting room and waited for the results. Neither of them knew what they would do.

The loud chime of the school bell rang. Informing everyone that the day was finally over and it was time to go home and have fun. Everyone quickly ran out of their classrooms and made their way towards the large entrance gates.

Wyatt slowly walked down the path watching everyone zoom past him. He gave a sighed as he felt relieved that the day was over. Today was just not his day. He arrived late for class, he tripped during lunch and spilled his meal not having anything left to eat, and during P.E he was smacked hard on the face by a soccer ball.

�Why am I such a loser?� he said to himself. He glanced up and saw the back of the dual hair. �Kai�� he said softly. He felt his heart beat faster as he thought about the dual hair and how he helped him to the nurse�s office.

He wanted to thank him. He began running towards the dual hair. �Kaiiiiyow!� he called out as he tripped and fell on his face.

Laughter was heard around him as he slowly lifted himself up. He gave a small hiss as he felt a sharp burning pain shoot through his knee.Today really was not his day. He gave out a sigh.

�You really should watch where you�re going.� A calm voice spoke.

He glanced up and saw the dual hair looking down at him with his hand extended to him. Wyatt stared at him for a bit and then moved his attention towards the helping hand. Slowly he reached for it feeling a bit hesitant wondering why the popular and amazing Kai would bother helping him.

�T-Thank you.� He quietly said as he was lurched upright.

�Hn� was the only response the dual hair said.

The brunette smiled and began to un-dust his clothing. �This is the second time you are helping me. You really are a nice guy.� Suddenly he winced as he felt a burning sensation coming from his left knee as his hand rubbed over it.

Wyatt looked down on it ad noticed the there was a tear on the pant leg and his knee was bleeding.

�You better get that cleaned up.�

The brunette quickly shook his head and gave a nervous laugh. �It is fine really. I rather just get it cleaned up at home then go again to the nurse�s office. She will probably think I am a completely klutz.�

Suddenly the dual hair gave a smirk causing Wyatt to give out a look of surprise. �I think you are a klutz. Come on then I can take you home.�

�Ah no no! Don�t worry! I usually take the bus!�

�My ride is already here and it is better that you get home to disinfect it. Come on� The dual hair turned his back towards the shocked brunette and made his way towards the large gates.

Wyatt just watched the dual hair walk off. He was feeling faint. Not from pain or anything but faint cause the cold anti-social Kai was suddenly offering him a ride. He never imagined that the dual hair would even bother in helping a person especially the likes of Wyatt.

Kai stopped in his tracks and turned around. �Do you need someone to carry you?�

The brunette suddenly snapped out of his thoughts. Kai was really serious about giving him a ride. Wyatt decided just to take the offer. He nodded and limped his way towards the dual hair.

They both made their way out of the gates. Wyatt was able to feel everyone�s gaze on him and the whispers as they watched the two walking towards Kai�s limousine.
Wyatt was feeling like those girls that get talked badly about when they end up attracting the attention of the attractive, rich and popular guy in school. He was feeling like this entire scene should have been in some sort of drama.

�Hello Kai.� A sweet delicate voice called out.

Standing next to the black limo was the ever so popular and beautiful Nadia Kuznetsov. She had on a sweet smile as she gave a small wave towards the dual hair.

�Hn� was all the dual hair said to her.

She just giggled and looked over at the brunette who was standing behind the dual hair.

�Hello.� She said politely

�Uh hello.� Wyatt responded back feeling a bit awkward.

She moved away from the limo and made her way towards the dual hair. �I just wanted to ask you if you were busy today? I thought we could go out for dinner and then work on our homework together.�

Wyatt had a feeling Kai was going to say yes. After all the dual hair was popular with the girls and also this was Nadia the most popular and beautiful girl ever. Guess he should be heading towards the bus stop.

�Today I�m busy.� Was all he said and walked past her making his way into the limo where he�s driver held the door open for him.

The brunette was shocked to hear the response the dual hair gave. He kind of found It harsh there was no apology in the tone he said it either.

�Klutz let�s go.� He called out from the car snapping Wyatt out of his thoughts.

The brunette looked at the girl for a moment. She still stood in her place not even responding�he knew she was hurt. He felt bad for her; he made his way past her and climbed into the limo.

�Um Kai don�t you think you were a bit cold towards Nadia?� he looked at the dual hair who sat with his arms crossed over his chest and his eyes closed.

�Just tell Jason where you live.�

The brunette looked at him for a bit. �I live down 24th Ave.� he called out to the driver.

The driver did not even reply he gave a quick nod in agreement ad started up the engine.
Soon they were driving off.

The two sat in silence as they drove towards Wyatt�s home.

�Are you still bothered about my response to Nadia?� Kai broke the silence.

He wondered if he should respond. He did not know if he was going to offend the dual hair�he did not want Kai as an enemy.

The dual hair opened his dark red eyes and looked at the brunette waiting to hear his thoughts on the situation.

�Uh�well it isn�t my business anyway so just forget what I said.� He gave a nervous laugh.

And once again they sat in silence. The brunette feeling nervous as he avoided the gaze the dual hair kept on him. He began to wonder if riding in the same car with Kai was a smart idea. Perhaps he was wrong about him.

Wyatt quickened his pace as he made his way towards his first class. He was in time this time. Just like Kai told him yesterday he left his home 30 minutes earlier so he wouldn�t be late and one again embarrassed.

There was a crowd of students standing outside of the classroom blocking the door as they peered inside the classroom. Wyatt wondered what was going on. He jogged up to where the crowd was and tried to peek inside. The students all whispered amongst each other. Some sentences like �Oooh I am so jealous� or �I wonder if there is a sort of confession going on?� were heard amongst the crowd.

�Hey what�s going on?� the brunette asked another guy next to him.

He looked over at Wyatt. �Kai and Nadia are in there talking. They were here early to talk to each other in private. So we have a feeling it is some sort of confession that they like each other.� His attention went back towards the scene.

Wyatt was a bit surprised. He wondered who was doing the confessing He imagine it was probably Nadia since she was the one who shown interest towards the dual hair since day one. He suddenly felt a bit of sadness and then sympathy towards the girl. He wondered if Kai was going to give her a cold response and just cause her to break down and cry.

�Shhh he is saying something!� one of the girls called out towards the group.

They all went quiet and listened to the conversation.

�I wanted to apologize for yesterday. I was busy that day but I did not excuse myself to you in a kind matter.� He said in a cool natural voice.

Everyone outside gasped. Wyatt stood there shocked. Kai actually apologized to Nadia, but what was shocking was that the dual hair actually listened to him. He could not believe his ears that the great and amazing Kai was actually apologizing to a girl. Even though his tone of voice did not sound any different from his matter of speaking but no matter what it was a complete shock.

�Ahem! What exactly is going on here!� a loud voice called over the students giving them each a fright. �Get to class!�

The students quickly pushed each other making their way inside the classroom and towards their seats. Wyatt was busy trying hard not to be pushed down and trampled on by the sudden stampede.

They all sat themselves down as the teacher began to write on the board. Wyatt made his way towards the back and sat down. He looked down and saw Nadia and Kai walking together towards their seats. She sat down and gave a smile of joy as he saw the dual hair give a nod to the question she asked him.

Wyatt wondered what just happened. But he was happy that Kai listened to what he said yesterday and took it to heart. He saw the dual hair climbing up the stairs and making his way towards the row of seats he was sitting in. Kai sat himself next to the brunette.

�I so glad you apologized to her. She seems real happy now.� The brunette quietly said towards the dual hair.

�Whatever.�

Wyatt just gave a small smile and directed his attention towards the blackboard and the teacher. He guessed he was wrong about the dual hair. He kind of felt special at that very moment. He never imagined that Kai would listen to him at all. But seeing it made him feel all giddy inside.

�Rei are you sure you should be leaving the hospital?� Brooklyn spoke over towards the raven hair that was making his way towards the college.

He kept his back towards the group who walked behind him. �You heard the doctor. He said I was fine and gave me the option of leaving early or staying. And honestly I am getting sick of these sudden hospital visits.�

�But we could have at least called a taxi to take us back. Walking might not be such a good idea.� Takao spoke up next his eyes never leaving the rave hair�s back.

Rei suddenly stopped and turned around to look at his worried friends. �Look I really do appreciate it that you guys are worried about me but please stop treating me like I am about to break. I am fine and I rather enjoy the fresh air and get some exercise.� With that said he picked up his pace again and walked on ahead of everyone else.

Everyone looked at each other and then began to follow the raven hair. He was right that perhaps they were exaggerating yet inside each of them they could not help but wonder why the raven hair was acting the way he was. He went through such a horrific scene that his reaction and attitude was a bit bothersome. They just feared for the future.

Rei in fact wasn�t feeling well. He wanted to just hide away and never come out. He felt like everyone on the streets or driving by were all staring at him, like they were able to see his body was dirty. He did not know why those sorts of thoughts were running through his head but he could not stop them from appearing.

He was afraid and he really wanted to go home. He wanted to just run to his mother and cry in her arms or hide under the covers of his bed and hide away from the world and just live in seclusion.

�Kai�� the name escaped his lips as he continued walking. He wanted the dual hair to embrace him and just give him the illusion that everything was going to be okay. Even though his body was dirt and damaged that he would still love him�would he love him still?

Raul and Rei made their way towards the raven hair�s dorm room. The Spanish boy wondered what happened to Tala. He did not see the red head for a day now ever since he asked them to keep the situation quiet from the dual hair. Kai did not show up after that either which kind of made Raul what happened. He imagined that the dual hair was going to be there all night by the raven hair�s side but he did not show up not even in the morning when they went to visit Rei.

�Hey Raul did you hear me?� Rei called out to the Spanish boy.

�Huh? Oh sorry. What happened?�

�I said I will be fine alone.� He gave the boy a pat on the shoulder and began to unlock his door.

�Are you sure? You can always sleep over at my room. I don�t think Tala will mind.� He looked at the raven hair with a pleading look in his eyes.

Rei just gave a small smile. �Thanks but I will be fine. I just want to be alone and sleep for a while.�

�Uh okay! But be sure to call me right away if you need anything. No matter what time just call me and I will be right over.�

�Yeah okay. See you later.� With that he made his way inside the room.

He looked around the small apartment like room and felt relieved when he realized he was finally safe in his own home. He placed his keys on the kitchen table and made his way towards the bedroom. He hoped the dual hair was asleep in the bedroom. It was empty.

�Maybe he is in class�oh wait he doesn�t even go here anymore.� He spoke to himself.

That was right the dual hair wasn�t living there anymore he was just visiting. He wondered what hotel the dual hair was staying at. Where could he be right now? The last time he saw him was when he was rescued. After that he did not even see Kai at the hospital. Maybe the dual hair already heard about what Boris did to him. Perhaps he felt sick knowing the fact that his body was now violated and dirtied.

He decided to go and take a shower. He was feeling sick and tired just thinking about everything. He grabbed a pair or clean and fresh clothing and made his way inside the bathroom.

The steam from the hot shower began to pour while the raven hair undressed. He tossed aside his clothing not caring where they landed. He stepped inside the small shower and closed the glass door behind him. He allowed the hot water to pour down his tired body. He tilted his head up and closed his eyes as he felt the hot droplets of water falling on his face.

He suddenly slid down to his knees and began to gag. His body began to shake as he continued to lose his breakfast from the hospital. He wanted to scream wanted to cry just wanted to kill himself on the very spot. His mind continued running those sort of thoughts through his head he was not sure what he wanted to do anymore. What his really wanted was Kai. He needed him so badly.

�Kai I brought you some food.� Tala called over at the closed door.

After they arrived back at Kai�s hotel room the dual hair just took a shower and suddenly locked himself inside the bedroom. The red head was feeling worried. He was afraid that the entire situation was going to cause the dual hair to do something stupid again.

He gave out a sigh when he heard no response and walked over towards the table and placed the bag of food on it. He didn�t know what to think of the whole situation. He wanted to just break down the door and sock Kai right in the face to knock some sense into him. But he knew that wouldn�t work.

It was amazing how the mighty cold-hearted Kai was turned into nothing then a mere child who would cry for every situation. He did no blame him for his reaction. After all the dual hair lived a harsh life.

Kai never had a real family. He was raised by an evil grandfather who tossed him in an abbey when he was 10 years old so he would grow up to not rely on anyone and grow into an emotionless and strong man. It worked.

Tala walked over the door and knocked. �Kai at least let me know you are alive.� He pressed his ear against the oak door and waited for a reply.

The sound of something getting tossed was a sign of relief. He preferred to actually be able to go in and see the dual hair but knowing he was still responding was a sign to feel a tad relieved.

�Kai can I please come in? Don�t you think we should talk about this�or even better go see how Rei is doing?� he paused for a bit waiting for something. �I am pretty sure he wants to see you.� All he got was silence.

This was really affecting the red head. He felt sadness yet anger. He knew Kai would react this way yet he wished the dual hair would just forget the past and focus on what he had now.

�He needs you! Kai please snap out of it! Wyatt is gone! You cannot do anything anymore!� He slammed his fist hard against the door. �I know you are in a lot of pain! Bu what about Rei? Stop being selfish and get over there to support your lover!�

He was once again left in a room of silence.

�Why do you act this way!? Where is the cold-hearted bastard who didn�t care for anyone and jut wanted to be number one!?� once again he slammed his fist against the door. �You aren�t the only one suffering here you know!� he screamed loudly and gave the door a kick.

Frustrated he walked over towards the sofa and sat down. He gripped his hair as he felt all the anger boiling up. He knew he shouldn�t be acting this way towards the dual hair. After all Kai ended up blaming himself for the death of the two people in his past life.

�He needs you Kai! Stop torturing yourself�please� he said to himself as he sat alone in the hotel living room.

Wyatt opened up the bottle of soda he just bought from the vending machine. He took a long drink from the cold refreshing soda. He was out on the town doing some errands his mother asked him to do. He really didn�t want to spend his Saturday picking up laundry and buying groceries but he had no choice.

He let out a sigh of satisfaction when he tasted soda going down his throat. It was one of those warm days where you would rather be inside a nice ac room or at the pool. He sat on the bench and watched the traffic move along the streets. People were out shopping and some were even out on dates.

Across the street from where he was sitting was one of the town�s popular caf� shops. There they served the worlds best desserts. He always heard good things about it. He knew the caf� was popular to when it came t the teenagers mostly at his school. He wondered if he would be able to go in that caf� one day. Sure he could have gone by himself but usually friends and couples are seen in there. He would feel awkward just being the single guy in that nice caf� eating by himself.

The loud roar of an engine was heard causing the brunette to jump in surprise. He looked around and saw a fancy looking car driving down the street and parking right in front of the caf�. It was a sleek black convertible. Looked European and expensive. Inside was a couple. The guy looking real sharp with his dark shades and next to him was a girl whose hair blew along with the wind.

With a closer observation he notice the driver was none other then Kai. He gasped. He never knew Kai was rich. Well actually he heard he was rich but he never imagine rich enough to get him such an awesome looking car. He kind of felt envious of the dual hair.

He continued to watch the dual hair. He stepped out of the car. Wyatt had to groan in his mind; even the guy�s clothes were fancy and expensive looking. Kai had on what looked like a real leather jacket over a silk buttoned shirt and a pair of expensive jeans. He bet his shoes were Italian imports or something.

The brunette let out a small surprised gasp as he saw the girl stand up. It was none other then Nadia Kuznetsov. The two were on a date! Wyatt would never imagine the dual hair going out. Well he heard he was popular among the girls and he was pretty sure he had his pair of different girlfriends, yet somehow he kind of felt shocked seeing him going with Nadia who he was a tad rude to on Wednesday.

The brunette watched as the two entered the caf�. Nadia was busy laughing happily as Kai guided her through the doors and they disappeared. Wyatt wasn�t sure why he was acting the way he was. He kind of felt sad that he saw Kai with a girl. He kind of wished he were in Nadia�s place.

�I did not just think that?� he said to himself.

Wyatt sat in shock as he realized he was feeling jealous of the girl. Did he just wish he were on a date with Kai Hiwatari? He quickly shook his head. No that wasn�t what he meant perhaps he was jealous of Kai and wished he were with Nadia on a date. But he never did like her?

A sigh escaped his lips. He knew what he really wanted. He grabbed the bags that were sitting next to him and he stood up. He decided to call it a day. He began to make his way home.

~Inside the Caf�~

�Isn�t this place lovely? I heard so many great reviews on this caf� also that they have the number one best selling desserts!� she giggled to herself as she continued scanning the busy caf�.

The dual hair just kept quiet hearing the girl talk to him. He gave a quick scan to the menu and already decided on what he wanted.

�I really don�t know what I want. Maybe I should ask the waitress.� She spoke to herself not even noticing that the dual hair had his attention somewhere else.

This was one reason why he never enjoyed going out on dates. The girls always seem to enjoy talking. He did not even know why he was here with this girl in the first place. His eyes scanned the outside watching the traffic drive by, and the pedestrians walk by. He suddenly noticed a familiar figure waiting at the stoplight. It was Wyatt.

Now he remembered why he was in this date with the girl. It was all thanks to the brunette and his words. He didn�t even know why he bothered listening to him in the first place. He never even cared how he responded to others. But just something about the little brunette made him actually act on it. He wondered if he was going to walk home with those heavy looking bags.

�Are you two ready to order?� a voice interrupted his thoughts.

�I am. Kai are you ready?� she happily asked the dual hair.

�Hn� was his only response and his attention then went to the menu.

Wyatt placed his bags on the ground and he began to stretch his aching arms. He wished he had a car the way Kai had one. Unfortunately his parents couldn�t really afford another car at the moment. He at least wished for a new bike, but due to his first one being stolen his parents thought it wasn�t a very good idea.

With his current situation he also wondered how it was possible he was able to get into such a fancy private school. He knew everyone in that school was rich and came from a high and well respected family. He kind of guessed he was the only average guy in that entire school. Maybe that is why he wasn�t able to make a lot of friends, cause he can�t relate.

He grabbed the to groceries bags again and began to walk home. He wished the bus would be closer to his home. He sighed as he continued walking down the path. Suddenly he heard a loud roar of an engine�kind of like the one he heard from Kai�s car. He continued walking.

A loud honk was heard throughout the neighborhood scaring Wyatt. He turned around and saw the exact same car from the caf�. The car slowly drove up next to him.

�Do you need a lift?�

It was Kai. He was shocked to see the dual hair offering him another ride. Not only that but he had Nadia in the car with him. This was feeling kind of weird and awkward. He knew the two had a date and wondered why they were suddenly driving down this neighborhood.

�We were heading to the movies. We happen to see you here. I asked Kai to give you a ride.� She smiled kindly to him.

He looked over at Kai to try and make out if what Nadia was saying was true but he was not able to tell due to the dark shades. Of course it had to be true. No way they saw him earlier and if so why would they bother stopping their date in order to give him a lift.

�You live close by. So it is on our way.� Kai once again spoke up.

�Uh no you guys don�t need to bother giving me a ride home, it is real close by anyways. So just go on. Thanks for the offer anyways.� He smiled at them both.

Kai suddenly stepped out of the car and made his way towards the brunette. Wyatt took a step back afraid that the dual hair was about to do something to him. The dual hair took a whole of one of the bags and made his way back towards his car.

�Get it.� He said as he placed the bag in the back seat.

The brunette looked at Kai for a while still feeling shock and then over at Nadia who still kept her smile. Slowly he made his way towards the sleek car and stepped inside sitting himself in the back.

�Um thank you.� He said nervously.

With that Kai climbed back in the driver�s seat and drove off.

Nadia turned around to talk to the brunette. �How funny we run into you here. Kai was the one who took this street to head towards the movies. I never even knew this street could lead you to the movies. But I guess Kai knows where to go huh?�

�Yeah that is funny. Well glad you guys decided to drive by here then.� He smiled at her and with that she turned her attention back towards the front.

Wyatt moved his attention towards the dual hair. The street they were on did not lead towards the movie theater, it made him wonder why Kai even suggested taking the street. His gaze till kept on the dual hair with thoughts on why the dual hair was in that neighborhood.

Rei was on his bed his gaze facing the ceiling. He did nothing but stare at the emptiness. He wondered if he should call his parents to see how they were doing and also to tell them what happened to him. He wondered what they would think. How they would react. He began to wonder if he should just drop college and head back home.

He gave out a sigh. He was getting tired of thinking. He decided to go out and just walk for a bit. He sat up and grabbed his shoes that were resting by the foot of his bed.

Grabbing his jacket and keys he stepped out of his room and locked the door behind him.

A cold breeze blew by sending slight shivers down Rei�s spine. He buried his hands inside his jackets pockets as he continued to walk down the college campus.

He wasn�t sure where he was going to go but he decided a good walk would clear his head.

With that in mind he walked through the large entrance gates and made his way away from the college.

�Hi Kai! Mind if I sit with you?� Wyatt looked at the dual hair that was sitting alone.

The dual hair looked at the brunette for a while and just gave a shrugged. Wyatt smiled, placing his tray of food down.

�I wanted to thank you again for last week. I really appreciated that you gave me a ride home.� He opened up his bottle of water as he kept his stare at the dual hair.

Kai did not remove his gaze from the book he held in front of him as he heard the brunette talking.

�Nadia was the one who suggested we give you a ride. So you should thank her.�

Wyatt just nodded and took a drink from his bottle. He watched as Kai focused more on his book then meal that sat in front of him. He was amazed how hard the dual hair always studied. Every time he saw Kai around he was always alone and always reading a book. Perhaps that was why he was the top student in the entire school.

�Um do you have a test?� the brunette spoke up as he began to unwrap his sandwich from its plastic.

Kai did not respond he jut continued reading making Wyatt feel a bit awkward. Maybe it wasn�t smart of him to sit with the dual hair. It kind of looked like he wanted to be alone and not be annoyed by someone.

�Do you usually walk home?�

The brunette looked up surprised when he heard Kai asking him that question. He saw that the dual hair placed his book down and was now working away at his meal.

�Ah yeah I do, well I usually take the bus but since it doesn�t stop near my home I end up walking the rest of the way.� He nervously spoke.

The dual hair grabbed a fork full of the spaghetti. Wyatt just watched as the dual hair ate away at it. He was amazed that even the way Kai ate was so well mannered. He wondered if there wasn�t anything the dual hair couldn�t do with such skill.

�You should get a bike at least.� His gaze went over to the brunette who quickly looked away and placed his attention on his own food.

�Yeah use to have one but then it was stolen, and at the moment we cannot afford one.� He gave a small smile.

He felt ashamed for even talking about himself. He wished he lied that his bike was in the shop or something. But he felt he wanted to be honest with the dual hair. He wondered if Kai was going to laugh or make fun of him for being poor.

They sat in silence amongst themselves. The only thing heard were the other students talking loudly amongst each other.

Kai kept his stare on the brunette who was busy nervously eating away at his sandwich. Wyatt was able to feel the sharp piercing look the dual hair was giving him. Maybe it wasn�t a smart idea at all sitting with Kai.

�Wait for me after school.�

With that said he grabbed his tray and book and moved away from the table leaving the brunette. Wyatt stared at the dual hair in shock. Did he hear him right? Did Kai just asked him to meet him after school? He wondered what Kai was planning on doing. He was scared and happy at the same time. He would have never guessed the dual hair would ever even bothering speaking let alone sitting on the same table as him. He smiled happily to himself as he started eating his lunch.

Wyatt stood at the gate as he watched the other uniformed students walk out of the large school. He looked at his watched and noticed he was already waiting for about 20 minutes. He wondered if Kai was even going to show up. Maybe the dual hair just wanted to make fun of him.

He gave a sigh. Why would the dual hair even bother with him? He probably was being set up. Maybe Kai wanted to make him wait a long time for him and not even show up. After all this was Kai, why would he bother with the likes of him?

He decided to give him five more minutes then make his way for the bus. The first one already passed so he will have to wait for the next one for another 20 minutes or so. He will probably be home late.

He kicked a pebble that rested next to his foot, sending the little rock flying off somewhere.

�Bye Kai I will see you tomorrow!� a sweet voice called out.

Wyatt looked up and saw Nadia waving at the dual hair that was making his way towards the opening. The girl was then being escorted by her other friends walking past the brunette.

�Nadia are you and Kai going out?� one of the girls asked

�I�m not telling.� Was what she said as they all made their way out of the school.

Wyatt watched the group as they giggled amongst each other each slowly parting. He wondered if Kai and Nadia were in fact dating.

�Let�s go� he heard a deep voice call to him.

He saw the dual hair already walking past him and making his way towards the same limousine from the last time. Wyatt nodded even though Kai wasn�t looking at him and quickly made his way towards the direction the dual hair was walking.

�Um Kai you really didn�t need to give me a ride. I could have just taken the bus home you know.� He spoke behind the dual hair.

Kai did not respond he just stepped inside the car. Wyatt stood watching thinking if he should even bothering climbing into the car.

�Hurry up.� Was what he heard making him quickly listen to the command and climb into the car.

Wyatt nervously sat inside the car as he watched Kai whisper into his driver�s ear making him wonder what he was saying. He wanted to just say thank you but he was going to take the bus but something about the dual hair made him feel scared and obedient.

They began driving the opposite direction from his home making him feeling even more nervous.

�Uh I live the other way around�� he nervously whispered.

�I need to do something.�

Wyatt sat in silence just pondering what exactly were Kai�s thoughts.

The car pulled into the large lot of the city�s top mall. Wyatt looked in awe as he watched all the large buildings. He was wondering what they were doing there. He was amazed by his attitude towards the whole situation he was acting like he came from the slums or never even been to the mall.

The car pulled up in the front of the mall�s entrance and Kai stepped out. �Jason meets us back in an hour.�

�Yes Master Hiwatari�

The limo drove off leaving the two young men standing in front of the entrance of the mall.

�Let�s go� Kai began to walk inside leaving the confused brunette staggering behind.

�Uh Kai if you have something to do I can just go home on my own.�

The dual hair ignored him and walked off. Wyatt looked a bit around and decided to go and follow the dual hair.

They began to walk past a bunch of different stores. Wyatt watching the back of Kai trying to read his mind as to why they were in the mall. They ended up stopping in front of a store selling bicycles and Vespa Scooters.

Wyatt was about to ask him a question but did not make it due to the fact the dual hair walked inside. The brunette quickly followed him.

�Welcome to Italy�s finest� a red head energetic girl greeted the two.

Kai walked past by her and made his way towards the Vespa scooters.

�Uh hello.� Wyatt greeted the girl.

She gave another huge smile at the brunette. �What can I help you find today?�

�I am taking this.� Kai spoke over to the girl.

They both looked over to where the dual hair was and saw him standing next to a sky blue Vespa Scooter.

�Right away!� she happily ran towards where the dual hair was. �Would you like it assembled here or would you like to take it an unassembled one?�

�I will just take this one� He pulled out his wallet and handed the girl a gold credit card.

She took the card and walked over towards the register to charge the dual hair for the scooter. Wyatt made his way towards where the dual hair stood.

�Wow I never imagined you would go for something like that. Is it a gift for someone or yourself?� the brunette asked.

�Gift� was all he said to the brunette.

�Oh� was what he responded. He guessed it was a gift for Nadia. Which does make it official that they are an item. He kind of felt a stab of sadness enter him.

�Alright sir you are all set.� She handed the card back the dual hair.

Kai took his card back. �I will come to pick it up in a hour.�

�Of course� she smiled happily as the two walked out of the store.

Wyatt wondered what else the dual hair was going to do. After all he told his driver to come back in an hour. The brunette just followed the dual hair as they made their way towards the escalators. He opened his mouth to ask a question but decided to keep silent.

They arrived on the second floor and the dual hair made a left making his way down towards where the large food court was. Wyatt quickened his pace to keep in step with the dual hair. He guessed Kai was hungry.

�Grab us a table.� Was all he said and left the brunette standing on his own.

Okay he thought this was a bit to weird. Not only did Kai give him a ride, but also he took him to the mall without letting him know if it was all right with him. He didn�t have any other plans but he did find it strange that even though he had plans to do some shopping why did he even bother taking him home?

Wyatt grabbed a table and sat down waiting for the dual hair that was busy ordering his meal from what looked like a Mexican stand. The brunette placed his arms on the table and decided to rest his head.

A few minutes later Kai came along. He saw the brunette with his head resting. He gave a small smirk he placed the two trays down one in front Wyatt and the other one across from him. The brunette lifted his head up and saw the dual hair already sitting down across from him. His eyes then went to the tray that sat in front of his face.

�Oh uh thank you! How much do I owe you?�

�Just eat.� Was all Kai said and took a bite from his taco.

Wyatt obeyed and took a sip of his drink as his eyes watched the dual hair as he continued eating. Kai�s attitude towards him was becoming very confusing and it kind of scared him. He did feel joy cause he felt that perhaps Kai wanted to be friends but at the same time he feared that the dual hair was just teasing him at the moment.

�Uh so I hear you and Nadia are going out�� he decided to speak up.

The dual hair looked over at the brunette �Hn.�

Wyatt gave a smile. �Congratulations. You guys make a real cute couple!� he gave a small laugh.

�Why are you happy?�

The brunette looked up at the dual hair in confusion. �Huh?�

Kai took a long drink from his cup before he spoke up. � Don�t you like her? I would imagine you being jealous and trying to fight me for her.�

Wyatt stared at the dual hair in shock. Did Kai really believe he liked Nadia? Sure he thought that she was very pretty but he never felt any sort of attraction towards her. When he looked at her it was like nothing unlike when he stared at Kai�Did he just think about Kai? Quickly he shook his head as he tried to shake those thoughts out of his head.

He began to laugh loudly just getting a stare from the dual hair. �I never said I like Nadia. Sure I think she is pretty and all but honestly I don�t like her at all.�

�That time during P.E. you were staring over at her and that�s why you got hit by the ball. Then when I rejected her rudely you quickly defended her. It sounds like you do like her.�

�Ah well I wasn�t admiring her�I just thought how much the girls like you�and well I kind of felt bad for her when you just gave her that rude excuse and leaving her there.� He bowed his head down as he nervously looked down on his food.

Kai stared at the boy for a while. He did not know what the brunette was thinking. He kind of had a feeling the boy had a thing for Nadia. He decided to just let it be and focused his attention on his food.

The black limousine pulled over by the curb of a pale yellow house. Wyatt thanked the driver and stepped outside. He was about to thank Kai but noticed the dual hair stepped out. He wondered what was going on.

The dual hair walked over towards the trunk ad opened it up. He grabbed a hold of the sky blue scooter and pulled it out. Wyatt thought it was amazing how they were able to fit the scooter in the trunk when they were leaving the mall. He would ever have guessed that it would slide right in.

He looked at Kai in confusion as he watched the dual hair wheel it onto the curb and taking it next to him. Wyatt stared at Kai and down at the scooter and wondered what he wanted.

�That way you won�t be late for class next time.� He said to the brunette.

Wyatt�s eyes shot up wide open due to shock. Did he hear right? Was Kai giving him the scooter? He knew it was a gift and imagined it being for someone else like Nadia or even for Kai himself.

The dual hair walked a few feet and entered the limo. Wyatt did not know what to say he just stood there trying to process exactly what was going on.

�Don�t get yourself killed when you drive it.� With that said he closed the door and slowly the limo began to drive off.

Wyatt snapped out of his thoughts as he noticed the vehicle driving off. A huge smile spread across his face as he realized he received such a gift from the dual hair. He quickly turned around and began to wave at the car yelling thank you over and over.

Kai noticed the boy waving from behind and just smirked. His attention went back to the front as they drove off.

The brunette began to look over his scooter as he felt so much joy enter him. He was not sure if this was all just some sick joke or a dream. He would have never guessed it. All his life he never received a gift such expensive. What made it more shocking was that it was from Kai, who was not a friend at all.

He did not know what the dual hair was thinking but it made his heart jump for joy. He always watched the dual hair secretly and wondered if he ever had a kind nerve in his body. Today he showed it to him.

Wyatt felt tears stream down his face as he kneeled down and lightly hugged the scooter. Now he really did feel fear. Fear that his feelings were true, he tried so hard to deny it but no matter how hard he tried they were able to win. And today they were able to escape him. He was in love with Kai Hiwatari.

A/N: Gah!!! 36 freakin pages!! And it took me this long!! I would like to apologize for this lame chapter. It was like a little bit of Rei in there and then I was throwing around the flashbacks. I feel like the next chapter will also be flashbacks. Not sure and hopefully it is better.
