Chapter 6
Title: Unborn Love Part

Notes: I know that this FIC may not be to you guys liking but it was swimming at the top of my head for a While and I think I would go crazy if I don\'t write it down. I really hope you guys like it though. And yes I am aware of the mistakes and spelling errors in it.

Zech\'s grounded his teeth together in anger. He had know that Relena was use to being selfish and getting what she wanted when she was little, but he had no idea that it would consume his sister in such a way that she would do such things to keep Heero by her side. This has got to end. With Agent James in custody, they had their statement taken from him before he was booked and held in a temporary, private room that is guarded. He was their only link to put Relena behind bars for some time until they could prove that she had also tried attempted murder.
All the publicity has taken a toll on the Peacecraft name. Zech\'s didn\'t want the name to be dirtied, but it was unavoidable. If only he had stopped her when he could. Zech\'s started to massage the space between his eyes. He was getting a headache. He has been praying to god everyday that Duo would turn out fine. But the young man has not waken up yet. Everyone was starting to think he would not wake up ever. They would not speak of such, for if Heero heard it, their best-recruited agent would make sure that he would follow out of guilt.
Heero leafed through the case file. He couldn\'t believe that it is almost over. The woman he was forced to marry, and happily divorce was going to be put in prison for life when the courts see the file he has put together. All the information has now come together into one beautiful conclusion with solid facts that what Relena has done was of free will and that no one forced her to do the things she did. Duo would finally have justice.
\"I hope you wake up soon love, so that I can tell you what a fool I have been and tell you how much I love you no matter what\" Heero whispered to himself.
~~Two and a half months later~~
The television in the den scrolled the headlines. \'Our beloved Princess, actually a Witch in disguise?\' Wufei turned up the volume of the television. He couldn\'t believe it, after months of intense investigation, they finally had enough evidence to convince the jury that Relena was guilty of all accounts of murder of an unborn infant, attempted murder of Duo Maxwell, black mail and inner conspiracy. She was sentenced to 84 years behind bars. And if she were lucky enough for good behavior, the charges would be reduced, but if that happens the 4 preventers would work hard to keep her where she is going to be going, to prison.
A young man was sitting on the hard plastic hospital chair next to the bed when he heard the news emitted from a small television that was in front of the bed. The volume wasn\'t high at all. But it didn\'t matter. The subtitles spoke volumes as he read the conviction of the once trusted vice foreign minister.
\"Do you hear that love? It is all over now\" The man choked out. He took hold of the patient\'s hand and kissed the back of it. \"Please Duo, please come back to me.\" The man pleaded.
~~Half a year later~~
The young man in bed opened his eyes. The light filtering through the curtains were intense. He let out a small moan as he tired to move. The young man decided that it was best that he let his body stay in bed. He looked around the white sterile room. Why he was here he had no idea. Just as he was adjusting his eyes, he noticed someone wearing white standing near the doorway and running out soon enough.
The patient tried yet again to try to get up. His body was so weak. He didn\'t understand why. Why was he here? When did he get here? He didn\'t remember anything. The noise by the doorway caught his attention.
\"DUO!\" the woman wearing a doctor\'s uniform rushed in. Tears of happiness streaming down her face. \"You finally woke up!\" she said softly at the same time pulling Duo into a warm embrace.
\"S-Sally...?\" Duo said hoarsely. Noticing that his voice is not right. It sounds as if he hadn\'t used his voice for years. It was dry and scratchy.
Sally turned around and told the nurse who was standing near the doorway to go call the preventers\' headquarters; they would understand what the call is for. The nurse nodded her head and rushed off hearing the urgency in Sally\'s voice.
\"Why am I here?\" Duo asked Sally or mouthed to be more like it. His vocal cords just didn\'t feel like working then.
\"What was the last thing you remember Duo?\" Sally asked.
\"I don\'t really know Sally, all I remember was waking up here\" Duo seemed to have said with a shrug of his shoulders.
\"I am going to give you a full check up and see if everything is healed\" Sally said.
Duo gave Sally a puzzled look. \"The guys would explain to you if you want to hear it\" Sally said giving Duo a kiss on the forehead. \"Oh god, you have no idea how long I have waited for this day to come when you wake up\" Sally said no more then a whisper, but Duo heard well enough.
Why was Sally always saying when he woke up? Was he asleep that long? Duo would have sworn it was only one night sleep. Or was it?
