Chapter 6

---Duo POV---

Damn! I really hate traffic at this time... if only there's a road where only I can use... too bad I don't!
It's been 3 hours I’m stuck here without moving at all! Maybe I should complain about this to lady Une... Nah... It’s not in her power to do this. Though I worked for Preventer for 7 years since… I last Heero…

Heero... are you alright? No... Are you still alive? though I’m married to Angel why can't I forget you... you killed my wife once and now if you find out I’m marrying her again, you'll kill her again but if you try to do that again I swear I’ll kill you before hand... Maybe... just maybe we're better like this even I’ll be missing you all my life but I wish you wouldn't ruin my life now as I have a son, Heero yes a son... I named him Solo Maxwell. I bet you know the significant of that name right? As you are the only one who know everything about me.

*car horn*

I know! Shit! Even thinking of you makes my life miserable...

*car horn*

I swear if he horn again I’ll kill him on spot!

"Look at the traffic light!" the man yelled, "Or you can't see its green?"

That's it! I’ll fucking kill him!

"Hey! It’s not my fault if the front cars won't move!" I yelled back as I go out from my car, "or is it you can't see many cars in front of mine?"

As I’m out I can see so many cars and its really going to be long to be home. Today is really not my day.

~Duo's home~

"Angel, Solo, I’m home!"

"Dad!" Solo yelled as he runs towards me

"Welcome home, Duo" Angel greets me as I kiss her lips. Her lips still soft no matter how many times I kiss her but Heero's even softer then this. Duo! Forget about Heero!!! Why I keep thinking of him?

"Dad, want to hear something new?" Solo says as he tugs my braid.

"What’s new?" I ask back as I take my braid from his grip.

"It’s about the house next door...some..." Angel says

"MOM! Let me tell dad!" Solo pouts as he tries to keep Angel silence and let him tell me the news

Solo really cute when he pouts no one can deny what he wants. I wonder from who he gets that.

"Alright, I’m sorry sweetie" Angel says as she laughs to our son's pouts

"Anyway, there'll be new nightbor tomorrow, right mom?" he seems proud to be able to say neighbor though it’s wrong.

"Yes, sweetie but its neighbor not nightbor" as Angel says that, we both laugh at Solo's blush

"It’s not so fun" Solo pouts

"Well it is not so fun but it’s quite... funny..."

Solo pouts deeper as we both still laugh

"Alright, we're sorry sweetie let's have dinner your dad must've hungry now"

"Yup very" I'm not very happy without Heero by my side but I have to be strong now I have a family... especially for Solo. At least the Angel I know now very understands unlike Angel I knew back then.


---Somewhere not far from there---

"We'll arrive to our new house tomorrow morning" The older man says to both his lover softly

"It's going to be good for three of us" The blond softly as he kiss the youngest lover, "But for now, let's rest"

"I'll rest if you both rest with me, in same bed, together and doing something fun" The brunette says seductively to both his lover. Strange… where have I heard that before…?

"Damn! If you keep doing that, we'll never reach our house" The blond said, "but you better don't do that to other than me and Treize"

"Like he would, you know him too, Zechs" The oldest man smirks, "He's too shy to seduce other men other than us, right, Heero?"

Heero shift to next of Zechs and lick his ear, whispering, "No one deserves my all than you two..."

I really mean every word I say but somehow those violet eyes that keeps hunting my dream every night... for these years, I only remember those eyes but can't remember who... If I don't remember then it’s not important as I never forget something important. Yeah, better stop thinking of those beautiful eyes. But sometimes, I can't help but cries at night for missing those eyes.

Who are you, violet eyes? Why I keep dreaming of you? Why won't you leave me alone?


---Back to Duo's POV---

~next day~

Ugh! Why suddenly I feel heavy...

"Dad! Wake up! You promised we'll visit the new nightbor today"

"It's too early to visit them, solo"

"No! It’s 1 pm already, Dad!"

"Well, they can wait for another hour, can't they? Let me sleep another hour"

"You said that hour ago!"

"*Chuckles* you should wake up now, Duo" I open my eyes and see Angel wearing her best blouse with short skirt and her hair was well-done too

"Why you wearing those, Angel? We're just going to say hi to the new neighbor not welcoming the queen of the world" Actually I’m feeling irritated that she looks beautiful with them and she might get attention from the husband or something and will be taken away from me... Damn my possessiveness!

"You're right but first impression is very important" She smiles and gives me morning kiss, "Now, better go shower and let's greet new neighbor"

"Dad, are you worry that someone will like mom and take her from you?" Solo whispers which surprise me he knew what I’m thinking, "Don't worry, mom will never leave you especially if I cry for it"

"How you know what I’m thinking, solo?"

"I am your son after all, dad" He smirks, "If you don't want me to tell mom then you have to buy me chocolate"

"Well, I know where you hide the chocolate you steal from the kitchen too" I smirk when he seems to be surprised that I know about it, "I'm your dad after all, Solo"

"Then let's keeps secret about this from mom, ok?"

"Sure, Solo"

"Then go shower, dad"

"Ok! Ok!" Solo really have Angel bossy attitude

~30 minutes later~

"Dad, you ready?"

"Coming! Gees, you guys really have to learn to be patience"

"How do I look?" I ask not cause not confidence in my taste of fashion but so I can make them satisfy with my looks, like Angel says, first impression is important.

"Want me to tell the truth?" Angel ask

"Since when I like you to tell me the lies" She's making me nervous with the looks she gave me

"... You... Look... P. E. R. F. E. C. T"

I love her when she smiles sweetly like that

"Where's the flower?"

"I have the flower with me, mom" Solo says as he practically bouncing to the door with bouquet of flower in his hands.

"Alright then we're ready to go now"


It took few minutes to the next house. I hate to walk in this heat. I bet today is 40 degrees or maybe more!

#Flashback#

"Heero... wait for me!" Heero being the perfect soldier seems to be unaffected by this heat!

"Hn"

"You know what? We better do something good when we arrive to the hot spring inn!"

That prefect soldier keeps walking ignoring me!

I whine to attract his attention, "If you want me to keep walking, then promise me that we'll do some exercise on bed, you know what I’m talking about..."

"You who want us to go... not me" Heero stops and turn back to me and says, "If you don't start to walk now I’ll leave you behind"

Damn it doesn't works... What about this... I ran towards him and hug him from behind, "But I do this for our first anniversary"

Heero tries to free himself from my embrace. Damn! Not good enough? Fine! What about this? I licked her ear and whisper, "And trust me that only you deserve my all"

I smirk when I see Heero blush even his ear blush too... I love to make him blush... He really cute when he blushes like that

"When we get there, you can do whatever you want..." He pouts while I know he tries to not blush but he won't be able to do so as I keep embrace him from behind while blowing to his ear and confess my love over and over again until we arrive to the inn.

#End Flashback#

"Duo! Stop daydreaming" Angel says looking directly into my eyes.

Damn... I feel guilty as I see her eyes; she seems that she knows I’m thinking about someone else... Heero please, I beg you... Leave me alone

"Dad, you alright?"

I look to my son... I have to promise to myself that I won't let my family which I could have with Angel before destroyed by Heero, by my true love. Besides, Heero maybe dead already. Though deep in my heart I hope him still alive somewhere and find new love, the love I can't give him... Not after he killed Angel, my first love and my first wife. But I know I can't lie to myself that Heero will always be in my heart, in past, now and in the future... His eyes, His nose, His soft lips, His heart... His everything will always keep haunting me... forever.

---Duo POV---

The next door house really big and have traditional European style that reminds me about Treize's favorite choice of house. But it can't be why would Treize choose a peaceful place like this? In this neighborhood, there are only few families including mine. That's why all neighborhood really happy to have another family move here.

"Dad, what you waiting for?" Solo looks at me impatiently

"Alright, here we go"

I rang the doorbell

I can hear people chat inside the house. Seems like all neighbors arrived and greets these new people already.

"Coming!" a man voice came from behind the door

Angel looks at Solo, mine and her outfit for the last time before the door opens.

The man has a silk brown hair that reminds me of someone I longed for...

"Welcome to the nightbor, mister" Solo says enthusiast as he offers the flower from his hands. Damn solo really need to learn pronunciation right!

"But if you don't mind, it's neighbor not nightbor"

"Neighbor?" Solo says again

"Yes, neighbor" he smiles again to Solo and rustle Solo's hair. "Thank you very much" He bends down to take the flowers Solo offers.

Solo must've liked this man as he didn't push away his hand.

"You’re welcome, mister" Solo smiles shyly to him

This is the first time I see Solo smile shyly to someone, this man must really something and thinking this made me to look closer as his bang prevents us to see his face clearly.

"Please, come in" The brunette says with a quick glance to me and Angel then he turn again to Solo and offer his hand to Solo, which he gladly took it.

He leads the way into the house as Angel and I follow from behind.

His house real nice, it makes us feels home and warm.

"Sweetheart, where is the cookies we bought last night?" A man yelled from somewhere in the house

I swear I know that voice somewhere...

Before I can digest whose voice is that,

"Have you tried the top drawer of the kitchen cabinet?" The brunette ask back

That voice... Please let me guess wrong...

"Oh! Right... found it" The man replies.

Not long after that, a blond man appears from kitchen... Zechs! I know I heard the voice before and can't forget it... the voice that keeps warning me to stay away from Heero as I can't protect him from myself... Then could it be the man in front of us is...

I have to get out from here! But before that I have to take Solo...

I turned around to look at Angel but she suddenly isn't besides me... Damn since when we're separated? Where is she?

Zechs coming towards me. Damn! I turned around and hoping he won't recognize me at least yet...

Lucky he walk pass me... I turned back and see he's went towards to the brunette and hug him from behind, saying thanks and lick the ear I used to lick when I tries to seduce the love of my heart.

No! No! No! Keep away from him, Heero... Don't let that man touch you anymore, please, Heero... don't let anyone besides me touch you... My heart aches when I see that... Please Heero... make him stop...

Instead he do what I wish, he turns around and kiss the blond passionately... the passion he never show me... Why, Heero? My heart feels like shredded to pieces... Why you doing this to me? Flirting with another man in front me... Is it fun to shatter my heart after you killed my wife? I still love you that are why I move away from you so I wouldn't have to kill you but now you come back to my life and flirts with Zechs...

"Though I would love to join you two and make this room messy as usual but first think that there's many people here" An older man says. A man that familiar to me too... Treize...

Damn! I should have known who the owner of this house is as soon as I see it... But what does he means by would love to join... Don't tell me...

"Treize love don't get jealous" Zechs says as he walk towards the older man and hug him from side, "You know you don't have to ask permission to join us"

"Treize" What he's doing here?

"Welcome home, Treize" Heero says as he walks towards them and peck Treize lips once before it turns to a passionate kiss

"CAN ALL OF YOU STOP THAT?" I yelled as my heart hurts when he betrayed me more than I imagine

All the guests surprised by my scream and even not looking at them I can feel their gaze towards me. Like I care what people thinks! I just want they stop touching MY Heero! I swear if they don't, I'll fucking kill them and take MY Heero to a place where no one can see him let alone touch him!

"Dad?" Solo ask with slow tone as if he's whisper to me

I still can't think straight not after I see Heero betrayed me. Not after what he did with Treize and Zechs in front of me and solo.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't do that in front of children" Heero says softly as he smiles.

"No need to be sorry, Heero, especially if we're just being honest to our feeling" Zechs said as we both glare at each other.

"Long time no see, Duo" Treize grins as he pull Heero to his embrace

"Let. Him. Go!" I see flame in my eyes as I feel going to turn into shinigami

Zechs step in front of me, "Why should we do that? As a matter of facts, everyone in this house knows that Heero is our lover"

"Zechs, Treize... you know this man?" Heero asks as if he really didn’t recognize me at all

"Yes, we know him" Treize answered while keeps Heero in his embrace

Heero who seems snap back from his confuse, free himself from the embrace and walk towards me

"Nice to meet you, Duo" He smiles, "I'm Heero, soon to be Treize’s husband"
