Power Heart

Part Five

Dr. Alan looked at the young pilots wondering what
was wrong with them.

Sally groaned, "Doctor, you just said a big no-no."

"What do you mean, Sally?"

"Even I know not to use the K word around these
guys. WuFei, the one who passed out, hates him.
Quatre wants to kill him. Zechs is scared of him.
I was hoping to find a match in these young men
before we look on the database."

Alan nodded in understanding.

WuFei groaned, "Please tell me you were joking."

Alan shook his head.

Quatre said, "I thought that Trieze had no
children. Who are they?"

Alan took a breath and said, "A MiChelle
Khushrenada and a Kash Mizutani. Kash goes to
Mountain View."

Quatre gasped.

Alan turned, "Do you know them?"

Quatre nodded, "I only know Kash. I didn't know
that he is related to Trieze."

Trieze's Estate:

A knock at the front door, MiChelle opened the door.

A man said, "Hello my name is Steven. I am here from
Dr. Alan. He has a patient that needs help from a
MiChelle Khushrenada and a Kash Mizutani. Do you know
these people?"

MiChelle said, "I am MiChelle and Kash is my brother.
He is in his bedroom. I will go get him and we will
leave for the hospital at once." The man nodded.

MiChelle shut the door and ran to Kash's bedroom.

Kash's Bedroom:

Kash sat on the edge of his bed. He started to let
his mind wander to what his sister said.

Kash said, "Always."

Kaiza was sleeping again. He still has nightmares about
Kash leaving him for telling his secret.

A knock came to the door, Kash jumped up. Kaiza yelled.

The door was opened and MiChelle walked in. She was
about to cry.

Kash said, "Chelley what is wrong?"

MiChelle said, "We are needed at the hospital at once."

Kash said, "Why is it father?"

"No. A person said that we were a match for a young man in
the hospital."

Kaiza said, "Kash, please do what you need to do just take
me with you."

Kash nodded.

The three of them left.

Hospital waiting room:

Dr. Alan left to check on Duo. WuFei started pacing. Trowa
and Heero went to the restroom about 20 minutes ago. Quatre
was watching Zechs rock back and forth. Sally watched WuFei
very carefully.

Dr. Alan walked back in, "One person can go in and..."

Trowa and Heero walked in.

Quatre and Zechs looked up.

WuFei said, "Please finish your thought doctor."

Dr Alan said, "One person can go in and say your good-byes."

WuFei started to shake and said, "Nononononono.. not my Duo..
he can't die.. he promised.. I'll go."

Dr. Alan nodded, "Do you know the way?"

WuFei nodded and left.

Duo's Hospital room:

WuFei walked in and looked at the bed. The body on the bed
didn't even look like Duo to him. He walked up and sat in the
chair by the bed.

WuFei let a tear fall out of his eye.

"I thought you told me you won't die. YOU PROMISED! I am going
to loose you as well. If you die, I will never forgive you. Now
wake up, Maxwell."

A young lady walked in and put a bag of blood in the IV.

WuFei shook his head, "Miss what are you doing?"

"I was told to get him ready for a transfusion."

"The blood type matches arrived."

She nodded.

"Will he live?"

"Who knows."

"Thank you."

She smiled and left.

WuFei chuckled, "You skipped out on death yet again, baka."

WuFei leaned in and placed a kiss to Duo's forehead. He
turned and left.

Waiting Room:

WuFei walked in to tear-stained faces. He walked up to Sally.

He said, "What is wrong?"

"The news just finally sunk in."

"Duo will be alright."

Quatre looked up, "What are you talking about, WuFei?"

"They are here. The blood type matches are here."

3 hours later:

Dr. Alan walked in and smiled.

"Duo is OK."

Cheers were heard in the waiting room.

"We would like to thank the two who saved Duo's life."

Dr. Alan nodded and all left the room.

Lab room:

Kaiza was hugging Kash's hand and said, "I am so proud
of you. I can't wait for you to get well. I am ready for
you."

Kash smiled.

MiChelle said, "Brother, you two are crazy."

The Gundam pilots walked in. Zechs seen MiChelle and walked
right back out.

WuFei said, "I would like to thank you for saving my friend's
life."

Kash said, "No problem. Is he OK?"

WuFei nodded.

"I will talk to you at school Monday."

Kash nodded.

The Gundam pilots left without another word.
