The After Story (Its Over Finshed)

Chapter 6


Heero did as he said he was going to do and busied himself in his study on the third floor. Which did have nice white carpets and dark wood paneling walls on either wall was tall bookshelves full of books there was a long window between the bookshelves in the middle of the walls. He had a big brown desk in the center with a nice black computer chair and he had his main computer set up there. He had checked his e-mails and read the news of the world to find out what might be happening that he may have to take care of later. He had been absorbed in his thoughts and work now for awhile his fingers flying over the keys as he was typing out a few things he thought might be useful in his next run. Just as Duo thought Harmony and Frodo had dried off on Heero’s carpet but at the moment Heero didn’t care it could be swept up easily by Duo.

Duo had finished up his lunch and put his bowl in the dishwasher long with his spoon and tossed his water bottle in the recycle bin. Then he read a few manags then got online himself to check his own e-mail and see if anyone wanted to order any of his calendars he had at lest five people interested. He was sitting in his bedroom on the sofa with his lap top on his lap Frodo lay curled up next to him snoozing on the right hand side.

Duo finalized the last sale and would ship the calendars out the next day, he looked down at his wrist watch and noted it was three minutes tell six. He turned off his lap top and closed the case and set it on the coffee table, he rubbed Frodo’s side before he stood up Frodo woke up looking at Duo and wagged is tail. “Well boy I better go get Heero and tell him its time to get things ready for our date.” He chuckled and patted Frodo on the head Frodo then stood up and jumped off the sofa. They walked out of the bedroom together Duo went down the hall and made his way up the steps at the end of the hallway.

He came up to the landing and walked down the hall, Duo had kept his hair down the whole time to let it dry the best he could it was dry now, it looked to be a nice shade of cascading chestnut drape that brushed over his bum. It would be very soft and feathery to the touch, he came to Heero’s study door which was open on the right side of the hallway and leaned against the door frame he crossed his arms over his chest. Heero fingers were flying over the keys, Duo saw Harmony sitting next to Heero with her chin on his thigh. Heero reached down almost absently and stroked her fuzzy head Harmony wagged her tail. Frodo was sitting at Duo’s heals now looking in at Heero curiously then looked up at Duo.

“Heya Heero,” Duo spoke up finally since Heero wasn’t acknowledging his presences he wanted to confirm that Heero knew he was there. Even though he was very sure the 01 pilot knew full and well that he was there.

Heero kept his fingers flying across the keys none the less which made a soft clicking sound, “Yes Duo?” He wondered not looking away from the computer screen.

Duo pushed off the door frame and walked into the room Frodo fallowed behind his master. Duo came up next to Heero he placed his hand on the cool smooth wooden desk top, then put the other hand on his hip. “Well I was wondering if you were ready to head out for our date seeing as its six o clock.” His long hair draped down to his right and slipped over his shoulder.

Heero finished typing his last sentences then hit a button that sent his work and saved it all automatically. His computer was a flat screen silver monitor and his key bored was silver his tower was under the desk and that was silver as well. Otherwise Heero had nothing else on his desk he liked to keep it very clean. He then turned off his computer pushed his chair back and stood up. “Alright lets get ready,” Heero answered and slid his arm through Duo’s and put his arm on Duo’s lower back he pulled him into his body. He kissed him and brought his hand up and ran his fingers through Duo’s lose silky locks.

Duo loved how warm Heero’s lips felt also how soft he loved how the kisses always seemed to send hot rushing tingles all through his body. The blood would come up and make a blush on Duo’s cheeks he could feel them become warmer. His heart ever speed up as his husband kept his lips hostage with his own. Duo finally had to break away and gasped for breath. “Wow that was a damn good kiss,” he chuckled and licked his lips Heero slid his arm off of Duo’s body and walked around him.


“Yeah that was pretty hot,” Heero agreed, “Well come on 02 lets get to our date shall we?” The dark haired pilot wondered to Duo not looking back as he walked out of the room. Harmony fallowed after Heero wagging her pretty fan tail as she went.

“You got it,” Duo answered happily and looked down at Frodo and lifted his eye brows up and down and fallowed after his lover. Frodo fallowed behind Duo who walked down the hall to the steps. He put his hand on the railing and walked down the steps his finger tips slid over the smooth banister. Frodo had already made it down the steps Duo was right on his heal. Heero was already half way down the hall toward the bed room Duo smirked to himself and ran and jumped up and landed on Heero’s back. Heero didn’t even stumble forward and Duo’s massive curtain of hair fell down over Heero’s shoulders. “Yeah free ride!” Duo chuckled as he kept his legs around Heero’s waste who put his hands back and grabbed hold of his ass cheeks and then gave them a firm swat.

“Sure thing baby,” Heero still had the same monotone voice but he was feeling in a good mood weather that could be told in his voice or not.

Duo winced though as he was swatted on his ass Heero always had a firm hand. Frodo and Harmony had gone back down the steps to the first floor. “Yeah a painful free ride but I guess beggars can’t be complainers.”

Heero walked into the bedroom, “What are you talking about you have never begged for anything in your life. Don’t try and fool me, you take whatever it is you want.” Heero smirked a bit as he heard Duo making air blow out of his lips which caused them to make a buzzing sound.

“What the hell are implying that I am thief?” Duo wondered in a very sarcastic tone of voice as Heero walked across the floor to Duo’s side of the bed.

“Hmm I don’t know you’re the one who brought that up,” Heero then stopped in front of the bed, “Alright everyone off rides over.” Heero said unwrapping his arms from around Duo’s ass.

Duo chuckled, “Ah right damn it,” he laughed then let go and dropped from Heero’s back on to the bed his hair blanketed around him. “Well I am pretty much ready I was going to wear this we just need to get our shoes on and pack a dinner.” Duo shrugged from the bed on his back. Heero had turned around and was now looking at Duo who was sat up on his elbows.

“Mhn alright then,” Heero replyed softly then turned and walked around the bed. He made his way to his dresser and stopped in front of it and pulled open the top drawer and got out some white socks then shut the drawer and walked back to his side of the bed and sat down and pulled his socks on.


Duo had hoped up and had gotten his socks as well, “Ah shit wait I need to braid my hair too,” he said giving a little chuckle. “Then we can get going unless you want to pack the dinner while I braid my hair?” Duo wondered standing on one foot looking back at Heero as he slid his sock on.

“Ah I’ll go make the dinner,” Heero said looking over at his goofy lover then turned his head forward again and slid off the bed and went to the dresser side where his brown boots were he slid them on. He stood up and turned just in time to see Duo fall to his side when trying to put on his other sock. Heero watched the mass of chestnut hair fly up in a fan then come down on top of Duo’s he had landed on his side. Heero burst out laughing he couldn’t help it he walked over and Duo seemed to be lost in his sea of hair. Heero never laughed as much as he did tell he met Duo.

Duo had gone into fits of giggles behind his chestnut locks. He finally managed to he his arm up and push the drape of hair out of his face some. “That was for your entertainment purposes.” Duo chuckled trying to be smooth even after he fell down making an ass of himself.

“Ah of course well it was amusing well done 02,” Heero chuckled then put his hand down for Duo to take so he could help him stand up.

“Well then my work here is done,” Duo said smirking up at Heero Duo’s almost violet eyes gleam with laughter. He slid his hand into Heero’s warm strong hand once he did this Heero closed his hand around Duo’s and easily lifted him to his feet Duo’s long chestnut hair flew behind him and landed softly on his back.

Duo landed softly on his feet, “I hope you’ll be ok while I leave the room to make dinner?” Heero wondered in a very serious tone Duo rolled his eyes.

“Yeah, yeah, yeah I’ll be just fine gez I don’t fall down all the time.” Duo waved Heero away. Heero wasn’t looking anymore and walked out of the bedroom, Duo then went into the bathroom and flipped on the light, his hair tie wasn’t in there he growled. “Damn it where did I put that?” He wondered scratching the back of his neck as he went. Duo came back out into the bedroom and he looked around on the coffee table he moved the wet stone then put it back lifted Heero’s knife, the empty bottle of vodka he still didn’t see it. He walked over to his night stand and looked between his clock and the next to the lamp and photo. He opened his night stand drawer and still couldn’t find it. He was starting to feel frustrated he hated it when he lost his hair ties. He turned and walked over to the dresser still he couldn’t find it on top of that either.

“Come out come out where ever you are hair tie,” Duo called in a sing song voice.

He growled and walked away from the dresser and walked back into the bathroom and gave an annoying grunt the hair tie had been in there the whole time. It was sitting up next to the sink. For some reason every time he found his hair tie relief washed over him he then parted his hair three times and began to weave with skillful fingers from the top down tell he got to the end he left a little bit of hair and wrapped the black hair tie around the end.

He then picked up the comb from the sink counter and brushed his bangs the way he liked it. “There all back and tame again,” he said to himself with a chuckle he set the comb down and put his hands on his hips looking at his hair he turned his head side to side. Then turned around to make sure it didn’t look to stupid. Which it didn’t Duo shrugged he was content he walked a cross to the bathroom door and flipped off the light.

Duo walked to the sofa where his black sneakers were and slid them on he did this standing up without bending over. Then walked back over to his dresser and picked up his deodorant took off the lid reapplied then set the sent stick back on the dresser he put the cap back on. Feeling fresh and his hair back in its beautiful normal braid Duo was content and he left the bedroom he closed the door behind him. He walked down the hallway humming a cheery tone to himself.

Duo got to the top of the steps and began to skip them two at a time tell he got to the last six and hopped over them and landed on the hard marble floor with a loud thud. Duo’s braid had gone up then came back down and landed over his shoulder. He turned down the hallway and came into the kitchen. Quatre was in the kitchen he was making dinner for the rest of the boys he was redressed in a blue t-shirt with light brown shorts.

Heero had a wicker picnic basket set up on the bar end of the counter and was making them some sandwiches. “Heya Quatre,” Duo greeted happily Duo brought his hand up and tossed his braid over his shoulder then made his way up behind Quatre, who was chopping up some carrots to put in the soon to be tossed salad he was making them fried chicken and mashed potatoes which Duo loved. Duo loved Quatre’s cooking, the former 02 pilot wrapped his arms around Quatre’s arms and made them go closed to his sides. Duo picked him up and spun his blonde friend around with knife and all sent some carrots rolling to the ground. Duo’s braid spun around like a tail as he did this he laughed as he whirled in a circle.

“DUOOO,” Quatre squealed in mid air, then he was set down again in the same spot, “You crazy fool I had a knife in my hand!” Quatre snapped setting his knife down on the counter and put a hand on his hip he turned around and frowned at Duo, who had backed up some and was still laughing.

“Ah lighten up Quatre know one got sliced up” Duo chuckled “And your frowns are just so cute.” Duo teased and tweaked Quatre on the nose.

Heero was busy with putting the last of the sandwiches together to worry about Duo picking on Quatre at present. When Heero had his mind set on a task he did it without paying heed to much else. Quatre smacked Duo’s hand away from his face, “Go pick on someone your own size you big bully.” Quatre teased back this time and stuck his tongue out at Duo.

“But Quatre you are my size,” Duo said returning the favor of sticking his tongue back out at him but he also made a face he crossed his eyes and turned his head to the side.

“Oh so cute,” Quatre chuckled then bent down and picked up the fallen carrots and tossed then opened the cabinet under the sink where the trash was and tossed the carrots away. Then he rewashed his hands and went back to cutting up the carrots.

“Duo get the water bottles and some cookies and pretzels or chips which ever you want.” Heero spoke up not turning around from what he was doing which was dishing out some fruit salad Quatre had just made which was strawberry’s bananas blueberries apples kiwi and oranges. He was putting this into a Tupperware dish and once it was full he closed the blue lid with a loud snapping sound then placed it into the basket.

Duo walked over to the cabinet above the oven he opened the door he grabbed some nacho cheese chips then picked up Oreo cookies. He turned around once he closed the door with his elbow Duo walked over to Heero and added the food to the basket. “There you go,” he said happily and patted Heero on the back.

“Well everything is all packed and ready to go,” Heero said and closed the picnic basket then picked up the handles and lifted it off the counter top.

“Awesome well see you later Quatre,” Duo saluted his best friend then walked around the counter top and picked up there house key that was in a basket next to the door. He slipped it into his pocket.

“See you kids later be good” Quatre called in a joking tone.

“Oh we will be good Very good,” Duo winked as he opened the back door. Heero was behind him waiting for him to go out the door Duo leapt outside and on to the tiled patio.

Heero nodded to Quatre who smiled back, before he stepped outside and shut the door behind him Duo had crossed around the pool and was waiting next to the Lilly gate for Heero.

The evening felt mild it was a prefect date night the sky was starting to get a nice blue hazy look to it as the sun slowly started to sink behind the mountains two miles away. The sun cast a pink and purple glow about the edge of the sky as if it had been painted this way just so Duo and Heero could have a beautiful sky for the romantic date. Of course if one thought about it perhaps the sun also made a dramatic exit it always hopes to be remembered the most during sunrise and sunset thus why it makes such beautiful displays.

Heero walked over to Duo and clasped his free hand with Duo’s, together they started there slow stroll through the green silvery strands of grass. That flowed smoothly in the rippling of a soft low warm breeze it was as if there was a large invisible youthful God of some kind. Bent down blowing his warm breath over the grass just enough to make it give off a lovely melodic sound of rustling grass blades as they bow and brush into each other one could only hear this melody if one might heed the song of the grass which most do not.

Duo and Heero could hear the birds roosting in the trees in the forest it wasn’t hard to hear. There cheery chirping floated to there ears from a half mile away. It seemed the evening had many musical themes composed just for the two lovers. “Wow I love the pink and purple in the sky tonight,” Duo spoke up happily he had enjoyed about five minutes of peace with Heero just watching the sky, the grass the. The Lilac bushes seemed to bow to Heero and Duo as if they were the kings of the earth tonight. Duo breathed in the purple delicious sent of his favorite flower.

Heero nodded in contentment he had been happy listing to the melody of nature he stopped between the hallway of lilacs. Duo stopped as well and turned and looked at him, ”Hmm I think you need something,” Heero had a sickly romantic gleam in his eye Duo noted. He watched as Heero turned around and picked off a hearty purple lilac.

Duo crossed his arms and put his hip to the side, “ah I need flowers in my hair is that it?” He wondered with a cock of a brow and a chuckle. “Sometimes Heero you surprise me,” Heero set the picnic basket down and stood back. He turned around walked over to Duo and slid the green stem into Duo’s right ear. The purple seemed to set off Duo’s eyes and hair all at the same time. Heero stepped in and gave Duo a soft kiss on the lips and brought his hand around and gripped hold of his cute bottom.

After the two lovers shared there deep warm kiss that sent both into an enchanted realm where now. They both believed the world belonged to them alone, no other humans lived in this realm for two. Heero broke the kiss with a soft smacking sound as there lips part, “You look beautiful Duo I was right.” Heero said smoothly winking one of his gleaming jewel like blue eyes.

Duo felt the familiar rush of warmth flowing to his cheeks as Heero winked at him. Duo never knew why or how this 01 pilot could still make him blush after all these years with just a simple wink. Duo could not figure it out nor had he really tried to it was sort of something that just happened. Duo was madly and blindly in love with Heero every moment they spent together felt so pure so right. Heero knew how to turn Duo on even years later; Heero knew how to keep the fire burning inside of Duo. This is one major reason Duo loved Heero so much. “Thank you so much Heero,” Duo gave a little happy sighing as he watched Heero retrieve the picnic basket from the ground…….

Heero then bent down he picked up the picnic basket then stood back up. He took Duo’s hand in his again now that he was happy with the pretty purple flower that seemed to cling happily to Duo’s hair, as if it wanted to be there and never come out again. Duo thought Heero’s hand felt nice and warm in his own he loved how firm yet gentle his hand felt in his. Duo started to swing there hands back and forth happily as the lovers came closer to the forest of the birds.

They past from the grassy magical planes into the enchanted forest full of flickering fire flies as it slowly got even bluer in the air around. Duo and Heero walked hand in hand listing to the sounds of the birds, crickets and tree frogs. The leaves of the trees would rustles over head with either a little breeze or cause a squirrel was crossing from branch to branch.

They came to the cool laughing stream, they stopped at the rushing water’s edge, Duo could see a few small minnows swimming past in the shallow current. Heero let go of Duo’s hand, he leapt a cross the cool clear stream to the other bank and landed on one foot with the other slightly up. He put his foot down and walked a bit away a good bit away so Duo couldn’t splash him. Heero then turned around and looked over at Duo with a hand on his hips excepting him to jump. Duo sailed smoothly over the cold water and landed softly on the other side his hair had flown up behind him in a straight line then fell back down between his shoulder blades.

“Ah come on Heero I wasn’t going to splash you again,” Duo chuckled knowing why Heero had walked so far away. Heero held his hand out for Duo to take again which he had, he slid his hand back into Heero’s warm smooth embrace. Heero had a nice firm grip if he wanted to he could clamp down on Duo’s hand and hold him hostage if he wished. Duo thought about this as they walked on Heero was a very scary strong man.

“I can’t be to careful,” Heero replied softly to Duo, Duo looked to his side of the forest he gazed at the leafy undertow as they had pretty much let the rest of the forest be natural besides for the black and white path.

Duo gives a little laughing he saw a few rabbits hopping about under the raspberry bushes. “Ah you can trust me,” Duo spoke in a serious tone for once since they left.

“Hmn I suppose,” Heero nodded a bit the two lovers finally pass out of the musical forest. Now they can see the clear duck pond it had there same white ducks but also some Canadian Geese had landed there to feed and roost for the evening. They were hooking loudly to each other as most Geese will as if they were having a conversation.

“Oh cool,” Duo smiled seeing these geese he loved animals and he liked it when his property attracted wild animals. “I am glad to see our pond attracted those geese, maybe they will find it a suitable home?” Duo spoke happily to Heero who had been looking over at the black and white geese as well. “I really like Canadian Geese I think there pretty.”

“Hmn,” was all Heero responded to on Duo’s thoughts of course Heero was normally quiet and Duo was the one who did all the talking. He learned giving Duo some kind of response was best. Even if he didn’t really have anything to say though he agreed with Duo, on the geese thing sometime he just felt like letting Duo do all the talking for the both of them.

“But heck,” Duo went on after Heero gave his input to Duo’s mind, “ I love the little babies they have.” Duo chuckled, “I doubt they’d want to stay here to nest it be to cold really of course nesting season is over now.” Duo happily chatted on to Heero as they made there way through the beautiful green strands of grass.
Duo could hear bubble bees and honey bees buzzing around on the flowers on either side of the walk way. Duo loved Bumble Bees and Honey Bees cause they allowed pretty flowers to return every year also bees of course made the flowers even brighter in color. “Aw wow look at all the bees,” Duo went on changing the topic, “I love bees,” he chatted on to Heero. “Ah damn it I should have brought my camera I could get some really good shots of the bees on the flowers.” He said sighing in annoyance he snapped his fingers, “shoot,” he muttered feeling a bit disappointed now.

“Your not suppose to bring your work with you on a date anyways,” Heero finally spoke up, reminded Duo that this was a date not a photo exposition. They finally walk over the hill that hides the horse fields from view. The beautiful horses ever grazed lazily in the green pastor Emperor swished his tail at a fly that was nagging his hind end. Snowthunder pawed at the grass to get to the roots. Shinigami was rolling around in the dust itching his back, Wing was near nibbling on some tender shoots. Thunderclap was frolicking near his mother who was also grazing lazily.


“Oh yeah well of course,” Duo said giving a nervous little laugh as the warm breeze blew around them more it seemed on the hill. They made there way down toward the horses. “Right date not picture time I have plenty of time for that later.” Duo said turning his face as they walked and leaned in and gave Heero a dry quick peck to the cheek. Then turned his head back toward the way they were walking. He couldn’t help but love the view of the horses that would be a perfect picture as well. Possibly better if he painted it he thought to himself. “But isn’t the horses and the barn so picture perfect almost paint brush perfect.”

“Well then babe one of these days you could bring an easel and paints out set it on the ground on the hill and do a natural sunlight painting.” Heero suggested helpfully as they got to the high metal fence it seemed the boys picked up the pace once they came over the hill.

“Yeah that dose sound like a very nice idea, that is a really sweet suggestion Heero thanks,” Duo smiled over at Heero then let go of his hand then turned to the metal bars and put his hands up on top bar. Duo began to climb his ass bent some pressing toward Heero’s face. Duo’s black shorts hugged his bottom nicely and road up some showing off his naturally smooth thighs.

Heero cocked a brow then smirked and brought his hand up and started giving Duo’s behind little stinging pitches. “You know one of these days you could unlock the pad lock inside of crawling over all the time.” Heero spoke casually as he kept pitching Duo’s behind through his shorts with his thumb and index finger of his free hand.


“Ouch, Ouch, Ouch!” Duo went over the fence in no time thanks to the damn painful almost metal like pitches. Given so kindly from his lover he had put both hands firmly on the fence and swung both legs over in a very acrobatic swing. He pushed off the gate and landed in the horse field with his back still to Heero braid floated in the air and then rested on Duo’s back. He turned around and glared at Heero who pretty much cleared the fence easily with one hand. Duo was rubbing his stinging bottom, “Hmm maybe from now on that is what I’ll do. You know that really hurt?” Duo wondered to Heero and put a hand on his hip.

“Oh really,” Heero spoke in a none to concerned voice. “Well your ass was right in my face what do you expect me to do?” Heero wondered and walked toward the barn and gave a high pitched whistle. Wing perked his head up and Shinigami rolled over on his stomach and put his front muscular legs up and stood on his hoofs the dust came rolling off his black hide. Wing started to walk slowly toward the barn, Shinigami fallowed suit swishing his black tail back and forth as he saw his master had returned.

“I except you to kiss it,” Duo answered Heero in his famous sarcastic tone and fallowed behind him tell they got to the barn. Heero walked inside and set the picnic basket down on the table. Then he picked up Wing’s saddle and went outside and set the saddle on the fence they used to get there horses ready to ride.

“Hmn,” Heero answered Duo and noted he had turned around and bent over to pick up his own saddle. Heero walked in right behind Duo, brought his hand back swiftly and flicked his wrist skillfully to make contact with Duo’s bottom which made aloud cracking sound Duo fall forward some with the saddle. Duo was now half way on the saddle stand with his arms pinched under the saddle.

“Yeah!” Duo snapped and his braid fell over his shoulder as he fell, “You and your consent abuse to my poor ass.” He said and managed to stand up straight and take out his saddle. By now both horses were standing in front of the barn.

“Well with your mouth, you deserve it,” Heero said none to sympathetically he walked over to Wing and stroked him on his neck then took hold of some of his mane and lead him gently over to the saddle. Heero had a nice brown leather saddle under the saddle he had a green blanket to go on top of Wing’s back so it wouldn’t give Wing dry skin. He picked up blanket, saddle and all Heero slid the Saddle onto Wing’s back made sure it was on evenly.

Duo blew air out of his mouth again making his bangs blow up he rolled his eyes, “Yeah whatever.” He said not going to worry to much on it he carried his saddle over to Shinigami who had not walked over to the saddling fence this made no difference to Duo. He slid his black saddle onto his horse’s back his saddle had a white blanket underneath it. Once he got the saddle in the right position he stroked Shinigami neck. “Good boy,” he said and hugged his warm neck. He patted him on the side as he hugged him Shinigami nuzzled his head against Duo’s neck. “Hey Heero why don’t you grab a view T-r-e-a-t-s for the horses and put them in the basket?” Duo wondered to Heero as he let go of the nice warm hug he had shared with his pretty mustang.

“Alright, get on your horse while I do that then we can make our way out,” Heero added he had gotten Wing saddled up and had put on the reins, he didn’t put a bit in Wing’s mouth he could control him easily with just the reins alone.

Duo had buckled his saddle and put his no bit rains on Shinigami, “You got it,” Duo responded cheerfully. Then he put his hand up on the horn then put his left foot up in the stirrups he pushed off the ground with his right foot and swung his leg around easily. Duo sat down comfortably in his saddle Shinigami gave a snorting he shook his head a bit. Duo then picked up the reins Duo’s braid now went across his chest like a sash.

Heero returned, “Ok got em,” he informed Duo but didn’t want to say what because it would really excite the horses. He then set the basket of food on a hook on his saddle. Then put his left foot in the stirrup and swung his right foot around and settled into his own saddle. Wing patiently waited for Heero to get comfortable on his back.

Shinigami on the other hand started to walk of a bit toward the fields. Duo chuckled he could tell his mustang was excited. “Yeah I know the four of us haven’t been on a date in a while have we boy?” Duo chuckled he leaned down and stroked the horses beautiful neck. Shinigami gave a happy snorting in response, Heero then picked up Wings reins he turned the reins toward the left making the right rein touch Wing’s neck which meant he wanted Wing to turn left.

The pretty chestnut mustang did as the reins told him to and turned his body around Wing fallowed behind Shinigami. Who had already pretty much got a good start on his walking. Heero tapped Wing’s neck once with both sides of the reins this made the horse walk a bit faster to catch up with the impatient Shinigami. “I swear Duo all your animals pick up on your ways.” Heero chuckled he could feel Wings muscles moving under his legs and ass even with the saddle on. He loved to feel the horse move under him Heero loved to ride.

“Of course they do,” Duo replied looking back at Heero over his right shoulder as Wing came up on them. “They learn from the best after all.” Duo chuckled then faced back the way they came they were going at a slow walk they weren’t really in a hurry. Duo felt the warm evening air brush past his cheeks. He loved being up on Shinigami sometimes it felt like he was floating of course he loved to run with Shinigami as it felt like flying. Duo loves how when Shinigami would pick up speed the world would turn into a colorful green blur. If he looked straight out in front of him all he’d see is the path a head. This gave him the image of flying.

“Hmm I wouldn’t call Impatience a good quality,” Heero retorted as Wing stepped over the ground he was now in pace with Shinigami. The two horses walked side by side there heads bobbing up and down happily as they took a stroll with there two favorite humans now on there backs.

Duo watched as Shinigami’s shoulder blades went up and down as he walked. His dark mane was pushed over to his left side. In Duo’s opinion Shinigami was the most handsome horse ever. “Yeah whatever Heero,” Duo replied in his famous sarcastic tone of voice.

Heero and Duo guided there horses toward the back fields where there was a nice large clear blue lake. There was a dock with a boat tied to it there was weeping willow trees that surround the banks also a few sycamore trees. There was long snake grass that grew around the lake now they were about a mile and half away from the barn. They had lead the horses down the path which had been mowed out through the field so it didn’t scratch the horses up to much. It came up past there hoofs the grass looked so nice and green the horses seemed excited to finally get to the lake.

There was duck weed as well that was growing between the snake grass on the edge of the lake. There was a large willow tree to the right, there was warn down grass from where the boys had gone many times before. To picnic and relax, Duo and Heero lead there horses a few feet away from the lake.

“Whelp, here we are!” Duo chuckled the sky had gotten darker now they could hear the soft sloshing of the lake’s water brushing against its bank. He pulled on Shinigami’s reins a bit to stop him from walking, “That will do boy,” Duo said softly he then slid off of his horses back. He removed the reins for now he set them on the ground, Shinigami walked over to the lake he bent his neck down and took a drink. Heero had slid off Wing and did like wise with the reins, Wing walked over next to Shinigami and took himself a cool drink as well he swished his brown tail.

Heero had taken the picnic basket off of Wing’s saddle and walked toward the large willow tree that had long green branches hanging down, that one had to push to the side to enter into the little natural lover’s room. Duo felt his heart start to beat faster against his chest he didn’t know why but every time he watched Heero enter into that green willow curtain it just made him so excited Heero was such a hot lover. Duo fallowed behind him the willow branches closed shut. “Help me spread the blanket.” Heero instructed as he had already set the basket down he had a nice soft white and blue checkers blanket over his arm.

“You got it Heero,” Duo said and walked over Heero unfolded the blanket Duo too the two ends Heero stepped back some. They spread the blanket up then brought it down on the ground on a nice even patch of earth. Even so earth would never fully be even this could be felt even after they would sit down, that was ok they were use to this. Duo flopped down on the blanket, Heero sat down as well he brought the picnic basket around he set it between them Duo had turned to face Heero on the blanket with his legs folded under himself in an Indian style position. Heero sat Indian style as well he put the handles down on the picnic basket then opened the lid.

“Here you go,” Heero said picking up one of the sub like sandwiches he had made for there picnic. He offered it to Duo who took it with a grateful smile Heero had wrapped them in cling wrap to make sure they stayed good while they had traveled.

“Thank you Heero, soooo what kind of sandwich did hubby make me?” Duo seemed to be talking out loud to himself. Heero was use to this and paid no mind plus he knew Duo was teasing. Duo unwrapped the sandwich once he got it unwrapped he bit into the white bun. “Hmm,” Duo said chewing there was ham beef and pepperoni with green peppers banana peppers and mayo. “This is good,” Duo said and took another bite, “Your spoiling me pretty soon I’ll think you’ll be the on who needs to cook with how good you do it.” Duo said around a mouthful of sandwich and looked over at Heero who was eating his own sandwich that was pretty much the same besides no mayo his had tomato on it instead.

Heero swallowed his first bite and looked over at Duo licking his lips, “Yeah right I don’t think so, I think tomorrow in celebration of my return you should make me stake.” Heero chuckled a bit and took another bite of his sandwich.

“I thought I had made the chili in celebration of your return yesterday?” Duo said holding his sandwich in one hand and scratched the back of his neck with the other. “How many celebration do we need?” He wondered laughing.

“Well that was really good but no harm in celebrating a second time actually it will be a third celebration cause this date is the second.” Heero replied as he swallowed his food. He set his sandwich down on his thigh and took out a water bottle from the basket. He unscrewed the lid then brought the bottle to his lips and sipped the cold ice water. Duo could hear the ice clinking together, as Heero had tipped his bottle to get a drink.

Duo finally swallowed his second bite of his sandwich and picked out a banana pepper and ate that, “Wow I didn’t know this whole week was going to be party central.” Duo chuckled then chewed up his pepper and swallowed it.
The horses peeked there heads in at Duo and Heero Wing gave a little snort and nibbled some on Heero’s shirt. Shinigami sniffled in Duo’s hair from behind Duo ducked his head a tad bit. “See good thinking on bring the treats huh?” Duo chuckled. “Alright Shinigami alright” he laughed and reached into the basket and took out a square horse treat and turned some toward his massive horse and held his palm up flat and Shinigami sucked it off his hand gratefully then brought his neck back up and walked out of the lovers curtain happy with is treat.

Heero nodded, “Yeah I have to say that was a good call well done 02,” Heero said as he had done like wise with Wing and had given him a treat as well the chestnut gelding also exited the lovers area to enjoy his treat then stand next to Shinigami and share in the secret speech of the horse.

Duo chuckled and got a napkin and whipped his hand off of horse spit, then picked his sandwich up and bit into it again. “Ah well thank you thank you,” Duo said happily and gave a little nod of his head. The lilac in his ear bobbed a bit and it did smell good he was glad Shinigami didn’t eat it out of his ear.


The two lovers ate in peace for a little while enjoying there meal and watching the evening come to life with fire flies dotting the air with there golden lights. Also above the stars were seeming open there bright eyes and gleam down at the word like tiny diamonds stuck up in a royal blue Safire sky out there the stars were very bright the moon began its rise from behind the mountains it was a full round moon it cast its blue glow across the valley.

Heero had been studying Duo while he ate, he took this time to enjoy his beautiful husband. The moon light seemed to enhance all of his flawless and wonderful features. His cobalt blue eyes gleam in the moon light and looked to be cool dark pools. Heero felt his heart beat speeding up against his chest as he watched Duo finishes off the rest of his food, Duo’s mouth was so sexy his cheeks his nose his ears. Of course his gorgeous chestnut braid. Duo was without a doubt a priceless one of a kind jewel and Heero was so glad he didn’t let this beauty slip out of his grasp. Heero felt like he was falling in love all over again with this former Gundam Pilot.

Duo smirked feeling Heero racking his eyes over his body Duo was pretty much excited as well by now. His heart his body were anticipating Heero’s love, Duo pushed a strand of hair behind his ear. “Like what you see baby?” He winked Heero felt his own body begin to warm up even more when he heard Duo speak his voice was so sexy. Seductive pretty much asked for Heero to take him then and there lest in Heero’s mind.

Heero cleared his throat and closed the empty picnic basket that only had napkins and plastic wrap in it now and empty water bottles. He moved it out from between them, “Of course I love what I see come here,” Heero said in a sexy tone leaning back on his hands and spread his legs a bit. Heero’s eyes began to gleam with that familiar horny white light.
