Chapter 6

As Edward fell his right arm was bent back and it kinked in a joint as he landed the impact made his right shoulder dislocated making his arm look as if it was snapped straight behind him like a broken toy arm.

Edward managed to get up right with his left arm by pushing on something soft, though he began to scream. His hair was sticking to his forehead his braid plastered to his neck, “MUSTANG HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP MEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!” Edward shouted up in the well then took a breath to scream more as he did this he looked down and saw a mass of hair floating next to him then he saw a pale face of a woman. Then saw her naked body that was starting to become water logged. Edward’s ambers eyes dilated he screamed again really loud.

Roy was in the bedroom using the stick when he heard the blood curdling scream, he slid his gloves on and was out the side window in the bedroom before he could really think about using a door. He ran toward the well and he looked down to his horror to see Edward in the water his heart had leapt in his throat. “Oh Gods Edward how in the hell did you get down there are you ok!?” Roy demanded to know as he had come out ready to toast whatever monster there was around he didn’t see any besides the evil hole that had swallowed his little lover.

“I was pushed by someone so watch out and get me the hell out of here please there is a dead woman in the well too!” Edward shouted up at Roy very afraid and really very ready to get out of there. “I can’t use alchemy my arm his broken I’ll need my wrench!”

“Shit!” Roy shivered feeling sorry for Edward and he looked around and saw a long chain wrapped around where the old hose holder use to be he grabbed it and ran back to the well he lowered the chain down. Edward grabbed hold of it and pulled himself up quickly with Roy’s help of course Roy easily hauled Edward up out of the disgusting muck.

Once Edward was out of the well he fell to his knees with a crazed look in his eyes it brought back haunted memories of him being in Envy’s mouth and seeing such horrible things. Edward crawled pathetically in the grass his golden hair hanging like a limp wet weed over his shoulder he had black gunk all over him. Roy rushed over to him, “I… I can’t take this anymore, how many more times am I going to have to see dead things!?” Edward demanded down at the grass as if he wasn’t seeing anything at all really.

Roy got down on his knees and put his hands on his shoulders to stop him from going off in this crazy world. “Edward snap out of it already, we need to get out of here.” Roy said hauling the boy to his feet. “I’ll take us back to my house instead I am sorry I wish we never came here and to think we bathed in that water.” Roy said feeling really sick to his stomach now.

“Fuck that is right,” Edward said putting his wet forehead on Roy’s white shirt Roy hugged Edward not really caring if he got wet or not but the black gunk was pretty disturbing that was for sure.


“Well you can change out of these clothes you know,” Roy began “So you don’t have to….” Edward shook his head.

“I just want to get out of here don’t you want to find out who is the one who murdered that lady and dumped them in your well?” Edward wondered and gave a sighing even if the wetness was gross he just didn’t feel like changing he just wanted out of there.

Roy sighed “I’d rather just burn this place and get the hell out of here if the murder is still around.” Roy said feeling a bit paranoid now holding Edward close then he walked to the well and closed it again then he ushered Edward out of the back yard.

“Your just going to let some murder get away you do know he tried to kill me to right!?” Edward demanded to know of Roy. “He could come back at anytime!”

“Also we don’t know where he could be he could have gotten away trying to find someone in the woods is like looking for a needle in the hay stack. Don’t get me wrong if I saw him I’d have burned his body enough so he’d be able to suffer for what he did without dying I am more worried about you.” Roy said rubbing Ed on his wet back as they walked away from this horror show.

Roy brought Edward to the back of the car he opened the trunk of the car then opened Ed’s suitcase he took Edwards clothes off of him even his shoes he didn’t care if Edward didn’t want clean clothes he wasn’t going to have Edward’s wet clothes stinking up his car and getting his seat wet. Roy put Edward in clean boxers and pulled on some sweat pants then put a clean black tank top on him then put Edward in the back seat with his wrench.

Roy then turned around and snapped his fingers and burned his house and the ground around it to complete ashes he took care not to hit any of the trees.

Edward sat in the back of the car and unscrewed the bolts in his arm and set it on the seat beside him then curled up and laid his head on the door waiting for Roy to get done having a toasting fest. Roy then got into the front driver’s seat he looked over his shoulder at Edward. “Do we need to call Winery?” He wondered as he slid the key in the slot and turned the car on.

“Nah I have figured out how to do my own maintenance since I moved away an all and Alphonse helps me too though I need to know how to do it myself I can’t rely on that wrench throwing bitch all the time.” Edward said rubbing his blonde wet head thinking about it. “I don’t want to either I don’t like paying visits to someone just to have my head bashed in every time cause she is so violent!” Edward said getting pissed off just thinking about it every time.

“Alright, Alright clam down already Edward” Roy said chuckling, “well that is good that you are able to take care of yourself and not have to rely on others.” Roy said pulling out of the driveway and going down the lane and heading back toward home.
