The two saiyans bathed one another in the guest shower. Faint red suds encircled their ankles as they scrubbed the remnants of dried blood away from each other\'s bodies. A knock sounded at the bathroom door. Vegeta quickly ducked behind Goku.
\"Goku?\" Bulma called sweetly. \"Breakfast is ready.\"
\"Oh, uh, thanks, Bulma.\"
\"Have you seen Vegeta? I woke up this morning and he wasn\'t in bed.\"
\"You know Vegeta. He\'s probably off training somewhere.\"
\"You\'re probably right. Stubborn fool.\"
Goku laughed at the remark but was hushed when Vegeta pinched his left inner thigh... and hard.
\"Sheesh! I\'ll go find him, Bulma.\"
\"Thanks, Goku.\"
Vegeta turned Goku to face him. \"A fool is something I am not.\" He turned his nose upwards and crossed his arms about his chest.
\"I know,\" Goku placed a soft kiss on his lips. \"Oh, I know.\"
Goku moved to deepen the kiss, but Vegeta gently pushed him away.
\"Food is prepared and you\'d rather have me? While this is all very sweet and flattering and extremely tempting, Kakarot, I\'m quite hungry.\"
He vanished into his own bedroom. Moments later, he met the larger saiyan at the top of the stairs. He smiled on the inside at how his lover was dressed: yellow shorts and a faint pink T-shirt. He, himself, was dressed in a pair of black jeans and a white muscle shirt.
He caught the base of Goku\'s tail between the V of his index and middle fingers. \"Taking fashion tips from me?\"
Goku purred. \"I\'m just trying to let loose.\"
Vegeta lowered his hand along Goku\'s bottom. \"I think we\'ve taken care of that,\" he grinned.
They walked downstairs and into the kitchen. They both stopped suddenly upon recognizing a guest.
Bulma spoke up. \"Ah, you found him, Goku! Anyway, the boys are outside playing. I thought we could all talk.\"
Vegeta grunted and slid into a chair next to Bulma. He looked over at Goku. \"Aren\'t you going to eat, Kakarot?\"
\"I\'m not very hungry. I\'m going to say hello to the boys.\"
Sounds of laughter and cheer echoed from the outside when Goku appeared.
\"I swear it... he hates me. I\'m starting to think the boys are beginning to hate me, too, for driving their father away.\"
\"I wouldn\'t worry about what those brats think,\" Vegeta mumbled.
\"You\'re not helping, Vegeta!\" Bulma scowled.
\"Who said I was here to help?\"
\"Vegeta!?\"
\"No, it\'s okay, Bulma.\"
\"Enough of this!\" Vegeta joined Goku and the boys.
\"Who needs him? Now, Chi Chi, just go talk to him.\"
\"You saw how he was around me. He lost his appetite for Kami\'s sake!\"
\"I\'ll go get him for you.\"
\"Bulma! Please! No--\"
Before she knew it, she was alone in the kitchen with the large saiyan sitting across from her.
\"What is it, Chi Chi?\"
\"Goku... You know as well as I do that we need to talk.\"
\"So you\'re telling me what I\'m to know now?\"
\"Just, please, Goku. Hear me out...\" Goku heard her voice tremble. \"The boys and I miss you. I\'m sorry for the way I acted. Please... come home.\"
Goku lolled his head on the table. \"No, Chi Chi,\" he mumbled as he splayed his fingers across the cool, marble surface.
\"But--I need... I want you back.\"
Goku fidgeted in his seat. He sat up straight and stared deep into Chi Chi\'s eyes. \"I\'m afraid that\'s not possible.\"
He turned his gaze towards the window. He saw Vegeta clutching Trunks and Goten by their shorts while Gohan charged at him. They tumbled to the ground smiling, giggling. Goku smiled to see his love so content nowadays. His heart filled at the thought that it was he who sparked such a change.
