‘He’s so withdrawn....Why won’t he say anything? Does he really still believe all those lies?’

Gohan looked over at Trunks who was quietly sitting next to him on the couch, leaning on him comfortably in the darkness of their living room. They decided to just stay in for a quiet night and rent a movie to watch. Normally it wouldn’t be anything out of the ordinary to just sit back and enjoy the show, but they always had a habit of talking, debating or even making out all the way through the film. Today, however, was a little different.

No words were spoken amongst either of them. No discussions about which actor sucked and why, no debating about which flick was better and filled with more blood and explosions, and no soft kisses or touches.

It was like they were back in the shy stage of their relationship. Their first date all over again, and this had Gohan more than a little worried. Sometimes Trunks would come out of his shell and act like his old normal self and even smile and laugh lightheartedly, but then he would quickly get depressed again and act as though his behaviour was wrong. Like he shouldn’t be fooling around and having fun as if he didn’t have the right to.

Chi-Chi still hadn’t been found, and she had a *strong* grip on his mind, that much was certain. One time Gohan walked into the kitchen after grading some papers, to see his Koi digging through the fridge again, only to slam it shut with a disappointed and annoyed look on his face. When he asked him what he was looking for, he nearly jumped into the air in fear and was practically shaking at being caught at slamming the fridge, much less just looking in it. Evidently he was still used to the rules he lived under with his kasaan.

Trunks then tried to shrug it off as if it were nothing and leave, saying that he didn’t want to bother him, but Gohan grabbed his arm as he walked by and asked him what the matter was again. He looked so guilty for just saying it, but he had another craving for pickles, peanut butter and ice cream, and didn’t want to bother him to go and get it since they didn’t have any. He just smiled at his Koi and told him to sit tight while he went to get the things he needed.

Trunks became nervous and even tried to talk him out of it, saying that he didn’t have to go if he didn’t want to and that he didn’t want to bother him if he was busy. ‘When will you understand that I *want* to do these things for you, Koi?’ He thought, as he once again told his aisuru not to worry and that he would be back in about ten minutes.

He soon returned with all the things Trunks had asked him for. They were saiyans so they obviously needed a surplus of things. Six jars of pickles, five containers of peanut butter and another six small tubs of walnut and vanilla ice cream. Trunks’ favourite. He even sat down with him and had some of it too, so he wouldn’t think it was a bother for him to go if he would be sharing it with him. Plus the company always seemed to be good for him.

But his master plan didn’t work as he watched tears slip down Trunks’ saddened face as they ate, and he faintly whispered: “I’m sorry.” It was spoken so lightly that even with his saiyan hearing, Gohan barely made out what was said. He still heard it thought and slowly looked up in disbelief at the fact that his Koi could feel so guilty about just wanting a few things to settle his cravings.

He quickly got up from his chair and ran to the other side of the table where he held Trunks tightly to him, whispering that he did nothing wrong and that he loved him. All the way through his murmuring’s to his Love he inwardly scowled. This was all that damn onna’s fault! She was the one whde hde his Koi hate himself and let him think that he should act like a stranger in his own house! She made him think that he should always tip toe around him and ask for any little tiny thing that he wanted!

Apparently she always threw that “Dominate Mate” thing in his face, and that made him feel that in order to make him happy, he should make him dominant in *every* way. He found that one out after Trunks asked him for a glass of water. Of all things, water! Evidently Chi-Chi always made him ask, and even then she wouldn’t always give it to him. She made him ask for stupid things that he shouldn’t need to ask for like: to be let out of the office to be sick in the washroom, and when he couldn’t hold it back long enough for her to get upstairs at his calls and unlock the door, he would be forced to throw up in the tiny garbage pail beside his desk. She would walk in and see him getting sick in the office and scream about how stupid and impatient he was, and then make him clean it. The only thing Trunks wouldn’t ask him permission for was to use the washroom or to sit down at supper time. Gohan made sure to put a stop to all of this quickly after he found out, and while he wouldn’t ask for small things like he used to, he still felt guilty about taking them.

Oh Trunks *was* getting better, his bandages had been taken off a few days ago, and he could now walk around without the need for his crutches, but the soreness in his feet was still there. All the drugs that Chi-Chi had given him over that few months she was with him had slowed his physical healing, not to mention the loss of Ki caused by his pregnancy to top it all off. It was just a slow process in getting all of her ranting and guilt trips out of his head. It had only been two weeks since that bitch was found out, so not too much progress had been made yet with him anyway. He somehow still felt that he was a bother and a nuisance, even when he was just sitting down and doing nothing but reading. Something that was “in the way” and should be “out of sight”. Chi-Chi had a greater impact on him than what they all had originally thought. It was like she was no longer needed to make him feel unhappy or depressed anymore now that the damage was done. All of her unforgiving names and untrue statements had fire branded themselves in his brain, making him believe, for the most part, that it was all true.

He knew everything that she had called him too. Ungrateful brat, selfish tramp, lazy bastard, stupid slut....the list just seemed to go on, and he believed it all too. Gohan couldn’t help but shake with fury every time he thought about what that bitch did to his beloved. What she did and what she *tried* to do. And he put up with all of her bullshit and abuse just for him.

They had thrown out all of things she had bought for them and their baby a while ago. Gohan became sick at the sight of all the tiny baby clothes and teddy bears that she had used to pretend to ask for forgiveness and weasel her way into their house with, and decided that they just had to go.

He always felt sick at the thought of what his mother had done. She tricked them. She used their baby as an excuse to ask for forgiveness, probably knowing that it would be Trunks who would want her back the most for the sake of his family being together again, and then abused him while he was at his weakest. And what’s worse made him think that he deserved it. There wasn’t too much that he could do to help his Koi get her words out of his head. The only thing he could really do for Trunks, was to try and convince him that it was all just a big lie.

Gohan looked back down at Trunks, who seemed to be totally transfixed on the movie they were watching. The light from the TV highlighted his features in the darkness of the room, as it continued to flash across his face. He leaned his head down and kissed his soft, purple hair affectionately. Trunks looked up at him and smiled lightly before reaching his head up and kissing him back. Gohans heart melted completely with that simple act. He could only hope that his Koi’s good mood would last and he wouldn’t get depressed later on.

They ended their kiss softy and Trunks snuggled up closer to him and rested his head on his chest. Gohan sighed in content and lay down on the couch with his aisuru on top of him, laying on his side.

He made sure to watch his Koi’s facial expressions for the next few minutes for any signs of his returning depression, and was disappointed to see his face suddenly fall in sadness as he looked down in what appeared to be shame. Just as he was about to ask what was wrong and try to make it better, Trunks just started to laugh out happily right out of nowhere! Not that he was complaining or anything.

He sat up off of him and on the other side of the couch as he continued to laugh, like he had just heard a funny joke. Gohan loved that his Koi looked so happy, but still just had to know what was so funny. “What are you laughing at, Tru-chan?” He asked in amusement.

Trunks looked at him from the other side of the couch and managed to control himself enough to answer with only light snickers. “I-I was just looking at my stomach and I realized how big it is.” He said through his chuckles. Gohan grinned. ‘Mood swing.’ He immediately thought as if that explained it. Why else would he laugh at something so simple? But it was still nice to see Trunks looking so happy considering he almost never was anymore.

“Is that all?” He asked, chuckling himself now.

“N-no actually.” He stated still snickering. “I-I was just about to ask you if you thought I looked fat b-before I realized that only girls did that!” As soon as he finished the last word in the sentence he burst out laughing again.

Gohan was a little taken back at the answer before he realized just how funny it really was and started to laugh out loud along with him. He happily reached out and grabbed his Koi, pulling him forward for another kiss, which they both enjoyed to the fullest. Perhaps things were going along better than he thought they were. Maybe all Trunks needed was a little more time to fully heal. With some help of course.

“I love you.” He whispered in his Koi’s mouth.

“I love you too.” Trunks whispered back.

**********************************************************

A couple weeks later, after a visit from Capsule Corp, Gohan was walking down the upstairs hallway and towards the bathroom for a late shower. He opened the bathroom door and saw that Trunks had already beaten him to it. Only he was using the bathtub and was havingubblubble bath. Bulma had given him all these strange little bath soaps and oils earlier that day, saying that they took the edge off of backaches and stress caused by pregnancy, and that he *had* to use them in a bath and not the shower.

“Sorry Koi, I didn’t know you were in here.” He said quickly as he got ready to leave and wait outside. Trunks, once again, didn’t want to be a bother so he quickly offered to leave.

“It’s ok, Go-chan you can have it now.” He said quickly, while reaching for a towel to get out.

“No Trunks, you should stay in there.” Gohan said immediately, knowing how Trunks’ mind was processing the situation. That he was in his way and should leave right away to let him have the shower. Well Gohan wasn’t going to let him do it. “That stuff’s supposed to help with your soreness, so just stay put for a little longer.” He said softly.

“But I don’t want to bother you.” He replied quietly.

Gohan sighed sadly at his Koi’s depressed tone, before an idea hit him. “Why don’t I just get in there with you?” He offered cheerfully. Trunks whipped his head at him not having expected that. “You wouldn’t mind my being here?” He asked.

Gohan held back another depressed sigh at the question, and continued to act cheerful as if he hadn’t really heard it or understood. “Of course not, Koi! It would actually be kinda romc ifc if you think about it.” He explained.

Trunks actually did seem to think about his logic before he smiled at him for a response. So Gohan continued. “Besides,” He said while taking off his T-shirt and shoes. “This way we can both get done at the same time, and the water looks nice too.” He said, removing the rest of his clothes and climbing in with him.

Trunks moved up a bit to give him some room as he sat down in the tub behind him. It was a pretty big bathtub, so they both fit inside quit comfortably. “Mmmmm......this water feels good. What’s in here?” He asked, looking down at Trunks.

“I haven’t a single clue.” He replied, practically in a dream state due to the steam and scent rising out of the hot water and into his face.

Gohan chuckled a bit as he kissed the side of his neck lovingly. He reached over to the side of the tub and grabbed a washcloth and started to lather it up with a bit with soap before rubbing his Koi’s back with it. Trunks was enjoying the treatment, but he still thought that it shouldn’t be done.

“You don’t have to do that if you don’t want to, y’know.” He whispered to him. Gohan just continued to rub his lower back, knowing that a majority of the pain he’d been feeling came from that area. “But I want to, Koi.” He said, softly kissing his neck again.

Trunks sighed in content. He didn’t want to trouble his Koi on such menial things, but what he was doing felt so good. ‘I really should stop thinking that I’m annoying him all the time. Why would he go out of his way to do all these things for me if he didn’t want to?’ He thought while Gohan continued to massage his sore lower back. ‘I can’t be bothering him if he does all these things so willingly. Stupid Son-san! What does she know? He loves me and he *wants* to do these things for me.’ He smiled happily at that last thought. Son-san was wrong, she had to be. She always told him about how much of a bother he was, but not once did he ever see his Koi show signs of annoyance or hatred when he asked him for something. Besides, why should he even pay attention to her words anymore after what she tried to do? She hates him so why would she be truthful or nice to him?

“I love you, Go-chan.” He said happily while still in a dream state. He was finally getting all those stupid ideas about how much he was in Gohans way out of his head, and he was realizing it while his Koi massaged and gently washed his sore back for him.

“And I love you, Trunks.” He softly replied, kissing his back and shoulders. Trunks didn’t know whether his Koi knew or not that he was turning him on right now. The rising heat that he felt at his touch and kisses was becoming maddening as it drowned out the heat of the water in comparison.

“Sucks tI’m I’m so far into my pregnancy.” He said without fully realising it. He wanted to make love his Koi so badly at this point, but knew that he couldn’t. Gohan seemed to realize where his aisuru was going with this and decided to help out a bit.

“That doesn’t mean that we can’t have some fun, y’know.” He whispered into Trunks’ ear enticingly. Shivers went up his spine despite the steaming water they were in at his Loves statement. Gohan then snaked his arm around his waist and wrapped his hand around his length before slowly stroking it teasingly.

Trunks moaned out in pleasure through the act and tried to thrust his hips into his hand, but Gohan wrapped a leg around his legs and put his other arm around his chest to hold him still. Trunks felt slightly annoyed at his lack of space to move around. “S-sadist!” He panted out.

Gohan chuckled evilly. “Ya I know, but you love it.” He said, kissing his neck. Trunks reached out his arms and grabbed the side of the tub while putting his other hand behind Gohans head as he rested his own head on his awaiting shoulder, still moaning in pleasure as his Koi lovingly stroked him.

Gohan soon thought that his actions were perhaps a mistake, as he felt himself become painfully aroused with the noises his Koi was making as he pleasured him. Trunks eventually noticed his erection, however, and wanted to take care of it for him, so he removed his hand from where he clutched at the tub and reached it behind him. He found his Koi’s large arousal easily, and stroked it in synchrony with Gohans strokes.

He moaned out happily at his Koi’s actions and, realizing that he was going at the same pace as he was, decided to go faster with his strokes. “God, I love you Tru-chan!” He cried out in pleasure while squeezing his eyes shut.

Trunks couldn’t really reply through his moaning. He could barely concentrate on what he was doing to Gohan at this point, but he understood what was said and just continued to pleasure his aisuru for a response.

After quit sometime of this, they both came in the water and in each others hands, screaming out the others name through the climax of their pleasure.

They were breathing heavily and even sweating a little due to the scorching heat they gave off and what was produced from the hot steam of the bathtub. “We should do that more often.” Trunks said through his panting. His heart was racing, and it quickened it’s pace when he turned his head as far back as it could go, and Gohan reached his head around the rest of the way and they met each other halfway with a kiss.

“You’re right, Koi, we should.” Gohan replied after they broke off the kiss. He then smirked. “We made a mess of your nice bath.” He said, running a hand through Trunks’ damp hair.

He just shrugged his shoulders. “It was worth it.” Trunks said, smirking back.

Gohan reached for a towel and they both stood up and out of the water. He dried them both off with it before handing his Koi a clean one to wrap around his waist. They got out and made their way to their dark bedroom hand in hand. Gohan had to help Trunks a bit due to the ache in his feet from having the stiches in them recently removed. They didn’t bother getting dressed in anything for bed, but just climbed in together naked. Not that they minded as they wrapped their arms around each other and continued their passionate kisses, just before falling into a wonderful state of sleep.

*******************************************************

The next day was Monday, and Gohan actually had to go to work today. Bulma was doing a great job of getting him all those days off, but she couldn’t exactly give him full time off and save his reputation of being a hard worker at the same time. Not to mention how pissed off his superiors were getting at all of his absences without an explanation. How was he supposed to tell them that his pregnant husband was attacked and needed him around without sounding like a total lunatic? He had to go, no matter how much he might not want to.

He hated leaving his Koi like this, even though it was for only three days out of the week and he still came home about an hour earlier than what’s normal, but he still hated it. He was never in the house without his father, Bulma or Goten around, but it still irked at him. Vegeta would come over on the rare occasion, but only when it was Bulmas turn to visit. One of his excuses was that he “Just came to make sure that the onna didn’t poison my brat with her foul cooking”. Basically his way of saying that he cared for his son and wanted to check on him.

A little less than two months and he would be due to have the baby. One and a half months left to be exact, so the need for someone to be around him became greater just in case he went into labour early. It was Bulmas turn to be here with him today. Gohan couldn’t help but laugh when he came home from work one day to have his Koi running up to him, and jokingly beg to be saved from his mother and all her “Goddamned vitamins that she won’t stop shoving down my throat!”. He made a lot of progress in the passed few weeks, and almost never got depressed anymore. For this Gohan was truly grateful considering that only a month had passed since they had all found out about what Chi-Chi was doing to him.

Trunks still worked for Capsule Corp at home, even though everyone told him to just relax for a while. He would always just say how he couldn’t sit at home and do nothing but watch TV while everyone else worked around the house for him, and that he needed something to take his mind off of everything until Gohan came home. He didn’t work in the office anymore though, not that anyone blamed him. He always brought the laptop downstairs to work on the couch or in the living room with Goten to keep him company.

Right now they were sitting down to eat breakfast together, while chatting about this and that vigorously. Gohan was all dressed up and ready for work while Trunks wore a plain white T-shirt with a plaid unbuttoned shirt overtop of it and a pair of jogging pants, since he didn’t feel comfortable in his jeans anymore.

Gohans birthday was coming up soon and when Trunks had asked him what he wanted he merely said: “To get the presents and stay thirty-five”. They had a good laugh with that one.

Gohan wasn’t in such a good mood despite how he was acting. In fact he was royally pissed off. He didn’t want to leave Trunks today, more than what was normal actually. Top that off with the fact that he hated Mondays and his idiot boss wouldn’t stop nagging at him and he was practically giving himself a heart attack trying to fight off his annoyance at everything. So he just tried to act cheerful for Trunks’ sake since he appeared to be in such a good mood this morning considering how rare that was, he was just a little disappointed that he had to leave him soon. But eventually a topic of discussion came up that temporarily took his mind off of that problem.

“Hey Go-chan, what day are we going to have the C-section on?”

He shot his head up from where he was eating, not having expected the question that seemed to have come out of nowhere. He then rested his elbow on the table and put his chin on his fist, thinking about the answer he should give. “I’m not sure, Koi.” He said. “The baby is due in mid May, so we should schedule it for late April I suppose.” It was obvious to the both of them that to have the C-section on the day of his actual labour would be too dangerous and Gohan didn’t want to risk anything, so a while back they both decided to have the baby born two or three weeks prematurely. Just for safety’s sake. Not that they cared or anything, it was actually neat getting to decide your child’s birthday, so they were pretty excited for it.

“What will you name it if it’s a girl?” Trunks then asked. Gohan thought about it again, he *had* started to think of girl names, but it was hard trying to find something nice or meaningful that started with Go.

“I’m not too sure, Tru-chan. I’ve been thinking about some names, but so far none of the girl names that start with Go sound to good at all.” He replied, taking his arm down from the table.

Trunks chuckled a bit. “Going with the old family tradition, huh?”

He just smiled at him, his bad mood diminishing little-by-little with their talk. “Ya. I figured that my father would appreciate that one, but I still can’t find anything that sounds good.”

Trunks thought for a moment. “Why don’t you just look up baby names on the internet?”

He looked a little shocked at that, simply because he hadn’t thought to do something so simple and obvious. “That’s a great idea! I can’t believe I never thought of that!”

Trunks just smirked at him. “Could it be because I’m smarter than you?” He asked sarcastically. He knew perfectly well that when it came to intelligence they were pretty much evenly matched. It kind of surprised Gohan when he found out about it, because it would always be something good to jokingly tease him about when ever any of them wanted to get playful. Oh Trunks *always* was intelligent, he had to be in order to run Capsule Corp. It was mainly just his common sense that needed a jump, but he’d learned a lot when he was in America.

Gohan, however, was still in a pissed off mood for having to leave and didn’t think it was very funny at all, as his anger came back in full force at the insult meant to be a joke. “Ha, Ha, Ha.” He said sarcastically while scowling at him slightly. “Don’t get cute, Trunks, I’m in no mood for it!” He said angrily while looking down, scowling and picking at the food on his plate.

He didn’t see the shock or hurt that immediately covered the features of his Koi, nor did he fully realize what he said to him or how loud he’d said it in his anger over everything.

‘B-but, we tease each other like that all the time! Why is he so mad at me? W-what did I do?’ While Trunks’ mind frantically searched for the answer to his question, it unfortunately came up with only one, found within Chi-Chi’s constant rants and insults while she smirked at him as she said it all. “He hates you. Nothing but an annoying bother! Stupid ignorant tramp! Why does he even stay with you?!? You do nothing but make him miserable!”. ‘No! No, it’s not true!’ But he still winced at every word that went through his head as if that was the explanation for what had just happened, with no exceptions. ‘I-it’s not true. It’s...not.’

He looked back at Gohans scowling face, for the confirmation that he desired and cringed in disappointment at the sight of how he just seemed to be fuming. His eyes shined with tears, but he refused to let them fall. Gohan really did hate him. He thought he was a weak, annoying bother and he was bothering him right now. ‘I-it really is true.’ His subconscious whispered in his mind sadly. It was all his fault too. He had no right to insult his mate, even if it was meant for a joke. Gohan was the dominate mate and he shouldn’t have insulted him. ‘What was I thinking?!? I should have just kept my big mouth shut and kept quiet! Why am I so stupid?’

He couldn’t hold back his flood of tears any longer and, without wanting them to, they poured freely down his face. He lowered his head so Gohan wouldn’t see them behind his purple locks and held back his whimpers and sobs with a wall of willpower that was quickly crumbling away.

If Gohan hated his weakness then he wouldn’t show it to him. But he couldn’t hold back his cry of anguish, that the one he loved more than anything in the whole world hated him and didn’t want him anymore, for much longer. So he slowly pushed his chair back, got up and headed for the stairs where he could go to his room and not bother his Koi while he wept. Gohan didn’t even notice. WhatWhat am I doing here? He doesn’t want me here so I shouldn’t be here. I should pack up my things and go back to Capsule Corp.’ He thought in utter misery, he would leave with his kasaan when she came to visit and when Gohan was gone. Chi-Chi hated him, but evidently she was always truthful when it came down to what kind of person he was and the things that he did. He didn’t deserve to be with Gohan after what he’d done, and what he continues to do now. ‘Maybe he only stays with me because of the babies. Some unhappy couples stay together for their children.’

Just as his foot touched the first stair, causing it to creak *loudly* in his attempt to *quietly* get away, Gohan looked up at hearing the sound. In the shock of not seeing his Koi in the chair he was sitting in, in what only seemed like mere seconds ago, he frantically looked around the room and spotted him, frozen in fear on the stairs with tears quickly flowing down his face. Gohans face dropped, in the horrible realization of what he’d just done to his aisuru.

Trunks slowly looked over at him to see if he’d been caught, giving a full view of his tear soaked face, and when he noticed that Gohan was looking at him in shock, he tried to run away, while ignoring the pain in his feet as he did. “Trunks, please stop!” He cried out while getting up and giving chase, but Trunks didn’t stop.

His slowness caused by his pregnancy made it easy for him to catch, but only after he made it to the top of the stairs and halfway down the hall could Gohan reach out and grab his arm, stopping him in his tracks and cornering him in front of the wall. It was only when he held onto him did he realize how badly he was shaking, and when he brought his hand down to make Trunks look at him, he lightly gasped and inwardly cursed at himself. There were so many tears! And he put every single one of them on his face.

‘Oh Kami! What did I do? What did I do? What did I do!?! Why did I do that?!? Why?!?’ Gohan felt so awful and stupid. Here was hii, si, still trying to recover from all the abuse, lies and torment that he went through at the hands of that stupid onna, and he just yelled at him for joking around. He was actually happy today, fooling around and making fun of all the small things, just like how they used to do together before all of that ever happened, and he gave him shit for it. The one thing that he wanted his Koi to know the most was how his kasaan had lied to him when she said he wasn’t loved, but how he acted just now could have easily undone all the progress they had made over the past four and a half weeks and put them right back at square one.

“Oh my God! I’m so sorry, Koi! I-I was just in a bad mood, I didn’t mean to snap at you like that!” He said, desperately hoping that he would believe him.

Trunks just sobbed while he cried out all of his pain. “Y-you’re lying!” He cried squeezing his eyes tightly shut against the tears, but they came through anyway. He hated himself so much for showing them to Gohan. This was exactly the reason why he hated him, for being weak and pathetic and here he was, unable to stop crying like a child with a scraped knee.

“W-why are you doing this?” He choked out through his tears. Gohans face was filled with so much guilt as confusion came into the mix at his question. “W-why do you keep me here? I-I know you hate me! I-if you would just tell me that and say you wanted me to leave I-I would!”

Gohan gasped as his own eyes filled with tears. ‘What have I done?’

“J-just tell me to go and I’ll pack my things and go! You’ll never have to see me ever again if you don’t want to either!” He cried out, looking away so he couldn’t see his tears.

“No, Koi, I don’t hate you! I love you!” Gohan cried as his tears spilled over their rim and down his face. “I-I’m so sorry, I don’t want you to leave, I don’t!!” He shouted desperately while trying to get closer to his aisuru.

Trunks frantically tried to push him away as if his touch burned at his skin. He wanted to believe that so badly, but he just couldn’t bring himself to do it. Gohan wrapped his arms around him anyway. “No, you’re lying! L-let go of me, let go!” He screamed in anger and pain.

When it became evident that Gohan wouldn’t loosen his grip, he calmed down a bit and stopped struggling but didn’t stop with his pleas. “Please let me go.” He begged in a soft tone. Gohan realized that maybe this time, this wasn’t the best method to be used to solve the problem at hand, like when he held his Koi after unintentionally sneering at him, so he slowly released him from his grip.

Trunks seemed a bit unsure of what to do at first, not having expected him to actually let him go. He soon regained some of his composure and looked up at him through his tears that clouded his vision. He was so shocked to see tears on his face as well.

“W-why are you crying?” He asked in disbelief. Why would Gohan be crying? It’s not like he would be missing out on anything if he were to leave. He would actually be *gaining* at his absence if anything.

“B-because I love you and I don’t want you to leave me.” He choked out for his answer. “A-and because I’m sorry for always hurting you!”

“But I’m always hurting *you*!” He cried back immediately, unable to believe that his Koi could find reasons to blame himself for things that weren’t even his fault.

Gohan shook his head. “No. You’re wrong, Koi. Nothing that was ever done was ever your fault. It was always because I never saw what was happening to you. Everything was always my fault.”

Trunks was dumbfounded “No, Gohan! Please don’t blame yourself! I can’t take that! I could have easily told you everything! What can I do to make you see that?”

“Nothing.” He said simply while more tears flowed down his face.

Trunks hated seeing Gohan like this. He felt responsible for the tears on his Koi’s cheeks and wanted them to disappear. He slowly and unsurely reached his hands up to cup his wet face and wiped away the tears beneath his glasses with his thumbs. Gohan gave a light gasp, not expecting him to do that in a million years.

“Don’t blame yourself, Gohan. It was never your fault.” Trunks said to him softly. He was acting like such a child. Gohan always looked out for him and yet he was almost never there for him in return, he would try to make up for that now. “I’ll make you a deal.” He whispered.

Gohan just looked down at him in confusion so he continued. “The deal is this: If you stop blaming yourself for everything that I say is not your fault, I’ll stop blaming myself for everything you say is not mine. No exceptions. Deal?”

Gohan was stunned, to say the least. That was a *very* good idea! He chuckled. “I guess you really are smarter than I am.” He said.

Trunks smiled. “Is that a yes?” He asked. Gohan nodded his head happily. “This means you have to get all of that onna’s words out of your head, and no more thinking that you make me miserable.” He said to him. Trunks thought for a moment. He did say no exceptions so they would all have to go. No matter what he thought, from now on if Gohan said that it wasn’t his fault then it wasn’t. He nodded his head slowly.

“It also means that you can’t blame yourself for what your kasaan did or said to me while you were away.” Trunks said while searching his Koi’s eyes for a hint of doubt about it. It was there, but only for a second as it flickered across his face before disappearing as he too, nodded his head.

Trunks sighed. “I’m sorry for freaking out on you like I just did.” He said sincerely, removing his hands from Gohans face.

He just smiled for him. “Don’t forget our deal, Koi.” He said, wrapping his arms around his waist and large stomach. “It’s not your fault so you can’t blame yourself. I shouldn’t have yelled at you.”

Trunks shook his head. “You were just in a bad mood and I should’ve seen it, so it’s not your fault either.” He said, putting his own arms around his shoulders and bringing him closer before quickly reaching up and kissing his full lips. Gohan must be telling him the truth. The tears in his eyes proved that, considering his Koi couldn’t act worth a shit.

Gohan could have fainted with his lips connected to Trunks’. He almost drove his prince away forever with his temper, and just got him back again with his forgiveness too. Only this time he wasn’t the one who used the comforting words or simple solutions to do it. Five minutes ago Trunks almost left him, but he was the one to save their marriage with his quick thinking. He really did want to be with him, he was just trying to figure out whether or not he wanted the same. ‘Never thought I would feel grateful for crying!’ He thought as Trunks slipped his tongue inside his mouth and used it to massage his own tongue. Gohan moaned in grateful content as he let his Koi have his way with him.

“Am I interrupting something?” They both snapped their heads to the side to see Bulma, standing at the head of the stairs with a hand on her hip and a smirk on her face at what she just saw. She didn’t see them yelling or fighting, she only walked in, in time to see her son stick his tongue down his husbands throat.

“Mom? What are you doing here so early?” He asked her in confusion. She just gave him a ‘are you out of your little mind?’ look.

“Actually, I’m fifteen minutes late.” She said while pointing to her watch. Gohan groaned when he heard that. “Why do I always get to work late?” He said with his arms still around his Koi.

Trunks grinned up at him. “It really is too bad that you’re so late, Gohan. Cause I was planning on giving you a BJ before you left!” He said mischievously with his grin replaced by a smirk.

Gohan just gaped at him in shock, unable to believe that he’d just said that in front of his own mother, while Bulma just burst out laughing as if it were the funniest thing she had ever heard.

“Aww, son of a bitch!” He cried out in his utter disappointment of what he just missed out on. Trunks just joined his mother in laughter at the disappointed look on his face. He then took his hand and led him down the hall. “You really should get to work now, Go-chan, before all those brats start thinking that their on summer vacation or something!”

Gohan grumbled all the way down stairs at his bad luck, while he heard Bulma laughing it up upstairs. It wasn’t that cold out anymore so Trunks just gave him a light jacket as he handed him his briefcase. Still seeing that annoyed look on his face that he thought was so cute, Trunks brought his face close to his ear and whispered: “Don’t worry, Go-chan, I’ll give you something so much better than just a blowjob for tonight.” He said, slowly licking his ear.

Gohan found himself blushing as shivers ran up his spine before he smiled down at his Koi. He thought it was strange that he was blushing when usually it would be Trunks with the pink cheeks at hearing, much less saying, something so erotic. “You shouldn’t tempt me like that, Koi.” He warned. “I am five seconds away from calling in sick and keeping you in bed with me for the rest of the day.”

Trunks smirked. “It would be a little odd with my kasaan in the house, don’t ya think?” He asked. Gohan just shrugged his shoulders. “We could always kick her out.”

Trunks snickered at hearing that before quickly kissing his lips. “I’d really love to Go-chan, but since you won’t let mom or me meddle in your job any more than what’s necessary, you could get fired if you don’t go to work.”

Gohan gave a little depressed sigh so he continued. “Besides, I’d much rather spend all *night* in bed with you than all day.”

He grinned at the younger demi’s teasing tones before wrapping his arms around him and kissing his invitingly warm lips. “I look forward to it, Tru-chan.” Gohan whispered into his hot mouth before pulling away to look into his handsome face and beautiful eyes, with his arms still around him possessively.

Trunks smiled at him warmly. ‘How could I ever think to leave him? I’m so lucky to have him.’ He thought in pure bliss. “Gohan, I want you to know something before you leave.” He said seriously.

“What is it?” He asked curiously.

Trunks looked up at him lovingly. “You’re always there for me, y’know that? Even when I’m a total jerk. And I just wanted to let you know that, I’ll be there for you too. And I’ll never doubt your love for me ever again.” He said quietly as he gave him another long kiss.

Gohan sighed happily into it before he just had to pull away and let him go. Little did he know that, that would be the last time he would ever hold his Koi like that. He slowly headed down the driveway, continually looking back at his aisuru in the doorway longingly. He was so relieved that they had gotten over their problem and were going to finally make some real progress. Not just on Trunks’ part, but for him too.

“I love you Trunks! I’ll try to be back early, ok?” He called out to him when he made it to his car.

“Alright, Gohan!” Trunks called back while casually waving. “I’ll see you tonight, and I love you too.” He called with a smirk on his face. Gohan couldn’t help but smirk back as he climbed in the car and pulled out of the driveway before speeding off. ‘Damn I’m late!’ He thought nervously as he drove, double checking to make sure he had his dragon amulet on, then he smiled. ‘Hn. It was worth it.’

Trunks smiled happily as he watched his Koi drive off, he then walked back into the house and quietly shut the door.

************************************************************

Chi-Chi sat in the bushes, several yards away from the house and just out of sight, but right where she could see the slut kissing her son in perfect view. She shook with fury at the sight, and had to hold back from shooting him too early with the gun in her hand. But when Gohan called out that he loved the fucking slut she *really* had to use all the willpower in her body to keep from screaming out in a total, blind rage.

After Goku had left her, she just thought ‘Fuck it! Fuck it all!’. Screw that guy who she hired to rape him with, she didn’t care about how much he may want the slut, she wanted him dead for what he did to her. Getting her son to leave that slut over being raped was no longer enough, nor was the emotional turmoil that would go with it. That bastard had ruined her life and she wanted him gone! And she no longer cared that he was carrying her grandchildren either. She didn’t want that slut’s offspring in her family anyway. The idea that she would share a blood connection to the fucking tramp made her want to vomit.

She had no more cards in her hand to play, that she hadn’t already used. First she tried to manipulate him into leaving, and that whole, getting him to leave through the guilt and shame of being raped, didn’t even *get* a chance at working. So that left her with only one card to play: the death card.

Gohan would get over their loss in time, and eventually move on. If he didn’t then she would just make a wish on the eternal dragon. She’d already stolen the dragon radar and collected the dragon balls to use for when she was done with this place. Nobody had made any wishes on the dragon in a long time, so no one seemed to notice the disappearance of the dragon radar.

This was going to be so perfect! That slut had this coming for such a long time! He took everything from her. Her son, her respect, her marriage. He *had* to pay for what he did, he just had too! So she did what any intelligent person would do, she waited.

Chi-Chi waited a few weeks for everything to calm down before she came back. This time she learned how to hide her Ki better. Even with the distance she was in from the house, Gohan or the slut wouldn’t be able to sense her even if they tried. And she made sure to watch the house to see what was going on. When she noticed that they would leave the whore alone with his bitch of a mother she nearly jumped in the air for joy. That left her a giant opportunity to strike. When no one who was strong enough to stop her from doing this was home.

It wasn’t a real gun that she carried. It was about the size of a normal gun and it looked the same, but it shot two kinds of tranquillizer darts instead of bullets. One kind was for Bulma and the other was for that dirty son-of-a-bitch who insisted on making her suffer. She hated the woman but didn’t want to kill her, just that bastard of a son of hers.

She had a scowl plastered on her face as she loaded the gun and marched out of the bushes and up to the house determinedly. She would have to cut the phone wires first to make sure they couldn’t call for help, but she was still dead set on doing what she came to do.

******************************************************

“Trunks, you’re bleeding!” Bulma cried out.

He just blinked at her in confusion. When he didn’t understand, she just proceeded to point down at the floor in annoyance . He looked down and saw several small blotches of blood in half foot shapes, it was then when he realized how badly his feet were hurting. “Oh shit, mom! I must’ve broken open the bigger cuts on the bottom of my feet!” He said, while leaning against the wall and lifting a foot off the floor to inspect its bottom. Sure enough, there were several small and bleeding cuts wide open for him to see. ‘Must’ve happened when I ran away from Gohan.’ He thought.

“Must’ve? No shit, kid! What were you doing? Running around the house?” She asked sarcastically, but she didn’t wait for him to answer as she went into the kitchen to look for a first aid kit. Trunks gulped nervously at his mothers rants, simply because that’s what he *had* been doing. Hopefully he wouldn’t have to tell her *why* he was running around the house. He loved his mother, but seriously wished that she would save her love lectures for Bra.

She came back with the first aid kit and helped him into the living room, where he sat down on the couch and she kneeled on the floor, and she then looked at the freshly open wounds. “You and Gohan are really going to have to tone it down when it comes to *playtime* until you fully heal, Trunks.” She said as she examined his soles.

He almost laughed out loud when she said that. ‘She thinks that Gohan and I were chasing each other around the house for sex!’ He thought while holding back his snickers, but he couldn’t hold back the giant grin that made its way to his face at the funny thought.

It was when she pulled out some peroxide and cotton swabs for the cuts, that his face fell. That stuff stung like a bitch and he hated it! But he wasn’t a child anymore and had long grown out of trying to whine his way out of getting it, but he still made small hisses of pain as she applied it to the cuts. “You’re lucky. They don’t need stiches again.” Bulma said simply while adding more of the awful stinging fluid to the cloth and then putting it back on his feet.

A knock on the door stopped her, and they both looked towards it in surprise. “Wonder who that is.” She said, handing him the cotton swab and getting up to answer the door. “You keep putting that stuff on while I’m gone!” She said harshly as she headed for the door. Trunks groaned and did as he was told. ‘Stupid stuff! Why does it have to sting so fucking much!’ He thought angrily while he dabbed the bottom of his foot with the soaked cotton ball.

Bulma wiped her hands on her jeans before she grabbed the doorknob and opened it wide, just to look at Chi-Chi’s sneering face in shock and fear. She soon noticed that she was holding a gun in her hand that was pointed right at her, and she gasped in horror, knowing that it was not meant for only her.

“TRUNKS, RUN AWA--”

BANG!!

The effect of the dart was instantaneous as Bulma’s unconscious form dropped to the ground like a log in the middle of the doorway.

Trunks heard his mothers scream and the gunshot that came after it, so he got up and ran to the doorframe that led into the hallway in fear for her, despite how his feet ached as he did so. He ran right into the hallway that led to the front door, but stopped dead at the sight of Chi-Chi bent over and trying to drag Bulma’s limp form out of the doorway and inside. She didn’t notice he was there yet as she did this.

He wanted to run to her and get the bitch away from his kasaan, but he then noticed the gun in her hands and backed away in horrified shock, thinking that she was dead. He heard the gunshot, and his mothers limp form being dragged on the floor confirmed it. Chi-Chi had just killed his mother and her former best friend.

He backed away into the livingroom and out of sight as quietly and as quickly as his bulging waist would allow, and covered his mouth to suppress his sobs and keep himself quiet while he wept in sorrow over Bulmas murder. This was all his fault. She was obviously here to kill him and because his kasaan was here with him, she had to die too.

‘That bitch! Why is she doing this? What did my mother ever do to her!?! They used to be friends for Christ sake!’ He thought in utter misery, his sorrow quickly being replaced with pure hatred for the stupid onore who continually made him and his family suffer. ‘FUCK! GODDAMN IT! I’m so, so sorry mom!’

He took a peek back into the hallway and saw that Chi-Chi was reloading the gun in her hand. It was a strange model, one that he’d never seen before even as a cop, and from the distance he wouldn’t be able tell what kind it was even if he did. Not that it mattered. It wouldn’t bring his mother back to life at this point or save him.

There was only a wall that was about ten feet long that separated the kitchen from the hallway, with two ways to get in. One was right next him and the other was on Chi-Chi’s right. There was a door in the kitchen that led to the outside, and while the need to run was great, he knew that she would hear him and catch him easily.

‘I have to try and fight her off.’ He thought determinedly. In Trunks’ mind she was not only out to kill him and his mother, but also his babies, and he would do whatever it took to make sure that they stayed safe. ‘I could use my sword, but it’s upstairs!’ He thought in despair. If Chi-Chi checked the living room for him first then he was a dead man!

He breathed a sigh of relief as he watched her go into the kitchen, and silently crept down the hall. The foot of the stairs faced the front door and was in plain view of the first half of the kitchen. He just prayed that she wouldn’t see him as he went.

He tried not to look at his mothers dead form as she lay, curled in a corner on her stomach. He was grateful for that much. If she had a giant open wound which she was still bleeding out of then he didn’t want to see it.

Remembering how the first step creaked the last time he tried to sneak away, he skipped it. Trunks’ heart went in his throat as he placed his aching and bleeding foot on it, but went back into his chest when no sound was made. He looked to his side into the kitchen, and didn’t see Chi-Chi anywhere.

When he looked down the hall to see if she was there, he nearly died in shock when he saw her just staring at him, eyes wide open and filled with murder as she stood in the doorframe of the second kitchen entrance, with the gun in plain sight in her hand.

“OH SHIT!!” He screamed out in a mixture of anger and fear as he ran upstairs as fast as his wounded feet would take him. She immediately gave chase and didn’t bother to fire the gun yet. She sounded like a freight train on a high speed mission as she ran upstairs behind him. He’d just made it up when she grabbed a fistful of his hair and stopped him right in his tracks.

“Let go of me, you psychopath!!!” He yelled out at her angrily while he tried to pry her hands off of him. She didn’t say anything back as she shoved the gun in his lower spine and got ready to fire. In a desperate move, Trunks balled his fist and turned as much as he could, ignoring the pain in his head at the act, before punching her hard in the face. Just because he was weak didn’t mean that he lost all of his skills as a fighter.

Chi-Chi was unprepared for that move, as she felt the blow hit her in full force and fell down the stairs with a loud scream, and landed with a sick cracking sound.

Trunks’ heart pounded and he was breathing as if he’d just ran around the world, as he took in the sight below him. She was unconscious....or dead. He couldn’t tell. From the sound she made when she landed, she either just broke something or cracked her head open.

“I hope you’re dead you fucking lunatic!” He screamed at her in total rage, before he ran down to his office to get his sword from off its resting place on the wall. He’d also need to call Gohan and his father, it’s not like the police could do anything about her if she was alive.

*********************************************************

Gohan sat in his desk in his classroom, while grading all the papers he’d continually missed over the passed several days when he wasn’t at work. The students were all taking a big test that should last throughout the whole period, so this left him plenty of quiet time to concentrate on what he was doing.

He also had his laptop next to him, with a web page for babies on the screen. He was trying to look through the baby dictionary and grade his papers at the same time, and having a difficult job in doing so. He’d so far found only one name that he liked. Gorawen. It was a name derived from the welsh and it meant joy. ‘Maybe I’ll use this one.’ He thought while returning to his papers.

He was so into his work that he didn’t even notice how his amulet continued to twitch under his shirt, with the rise and fall of Trunks’ emotions. Filled with disbelief, sorrow, hate, anger, fear and relief all within a time span of five and a half minutes. Practically crying out for help, but he didn’t feel it as he worked as hard as he could to try and catch up on what he’d been missing. Not realizing the more important thing thatwas was missing right now.

***********************************************************

Trunks slammed the phone down on the receiver in complete anger over the uselessness of the thing. Nothing was working, the power was gone and he didn’t need three guesses to know who was responsible. He couldn’t even find his cell phone. He soon heard a groaning sound from downstairs and gripped his sword tightly in fear as if it were his lifeline.

He ran out of his office and looked down the rail to see Chi-Chi clutching at her face and slowly reaching for her gun and getting up. ‘Oh my fucking God! How stupid am I !?! I forgot about the fucking gun!’ He shouted at himself while he frantically looked around for a place to hide.

On his right were all the bedrooms, and on his left was nothing but that hallway closet. A great realization hit him. There was nothing in here aside from old jackets, will plenty of space to hide behind. If he could just sit tight in there, maybe he could surprise her and kill her with his blade.

‘Better than nothing.’ He thought desperately while he went as quickly as he could to his hiding spot to wait. Not knowing that he was leaving behind a bloody trail of footprints as he went.

***********************************************************

Chi-Chi clutched at her head on the bottom of the stairs in pain. ‘Stupid slut *will* pay for that!’ She thought while angrily heading up the stairs. Her left hand appeared to be broken, but that was ok since she only needed her right hand to shoot. And after being here so many times with the whore all locked up, she had plenty of time to look around the house, and she knew just where Gohan kept his senzu beans. She made a mental not to steal them before she left. She suddenly stopped halfway up the stairs and looked down at the wooden steps in confusion.

There were many red blotches on them, like paint. Some had more than others. She took another step up and saw that the blotch actually resembled a footprint. No. Wait. It *was* a foot print!

She chuckled gleefully. ‘That idiot! He left me a nice little blood trail to follow him to! It’s so nice when everything is already done for you when you need something.’ She thought evilly as she slowly made her way upstairs, savouring every step on the way.

Trunks looked through the small crack in the door of the closet, as he watched Chi-Chi make it to the top of the stairs while looking down. He was confused at this, but it didn’t stay that way for long, as he saw her look directly at him and smirk sadistically. ‘H-how does she know I’m in here!?!’ He though fearfully.

He looked down to see what she was staring at and gasped in shock. The blood from his feet! He’d forgotten about that and left a trail of footprints in plain sight for her to follow. He didn’t have time to curse at himself for his stupidity as Chi-Chi ran down the hall and threw open the closet door at top speed.

He immediately took a swipe at her and got a good and deep wound right across her stomach, big enough to kill her if she didn’t have any senzu beans, he could tell that much. She screamed out in pain, not expecting him to have his sword with him, but still managed to focus herself enough to point the gun and shoot at him on her way down to the ground.

BANG!!

Right in his stomach. Trunks opened his eyes wide with fear for being shot where his babies were kept, but when he looked down, expecting to see a hole in his shirt and blood spreading, all he saw was a rather *large* tranquillizer dart sticking out and in plain sight.

He immediately grabbed it, pulled it out and threw it away, unsure of what was in it and fearful of what it could be. He didn’t have to wait long to find out as he felt a strange kind of foreign pain that he’d never felt before shoot up his stomach and move throughout his whole body. He dropped his sword and fell to his knees as he clutched at his stomach and screamed out the pain of his contraction. Whatever it was that Chi-Chi had shot him with had thrown him into labour, but because he was supposed to get a C-section he was never prepared for what labour pains should feel like. For all he knew, he was just suffering the effects of one of that onna’s strange drugs.

Chi-Chi however, wasn’t dead. She snapped her eyes open wide and got to her feet. She was royally pissed off at being slashed like that with her own blood spreading across her good clothes. Seeing that the whore had dropped his sword she made a grab for it and slashed him back. Trunks screamed out in pain and shock, and fell onto his back with a large slash of his own, just a few inches over his bellybutton.

He looked down at it in fear of what he would see, and was relieved to see that while the gash was deep, it didn’t touch his babies. Blood poured out of his wound quickly though, and it soaked through his white T-shirt, flowed down his sides and onto the floor. He put his arm over the large gash he had to try and stop the flow, but it didn’t do too much to help.

His eyes glazed over, and he looked up to see Chi-Chi’s blurry form standing over him with his sword held in her good hand, threateningly.

“W-what did you do t-to m-me?” He asked shakily through his agony. He could then taste the unmistakable copper texture of his own blood as it started to flow in his mouth and spill out the sides.

She smirked, or at least it *looked* like she was smirking. “Y-you wanted children so bad then you should give birth t-to them the natural way, d-don’t you think?” She asked shakily, while clutching at her own bleeding stomach with her mangled hand.

His eyes widened in shock. He was going into labour NOW? “T-that will kill m-me and my babies!” He choked out in pain.

Chi-Chi smirked again and didn’t answer him as she turned around and limped away, leaving him to bleed on the floor. Trunks cried out as another contraction hit him hard.

“AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!” He screamed out as more blood shot out of hit mouth when he did so, and his breath came out in gasps, but he didn’t care. He woingoing to die, and so were his babies. And there was nothing he could do about it.

Tears started to flow down his face at the very thought of it. All he could do was hope that Gohan had felt his pain and agony through his dragon amulet, and come and save him.

Chi-Chi soon returned with a smirk mixed in with the pain on her face. The sword was gone and she held out both of her hands for him to see one senzu bean in each palm. Trunks’ eyes widened. ‘How did she know where they were?’ She then ate one of them right in front of him before pocketing the other.

He watched as the fatal wound which he’d dealt her earlier disappeared, leaving nothing but the cut up and bloody cloth of her clothes, and her hand healed as her health returned.

“Congratulations, slut.” She sneered. “Today you’re a father.” With that said she turned around and walked away, leaving him there to die on the floor as he cried out in the pain of another contraction.

She just ignored it as she casually walked down the steps and past Bulma’s unconscious form, and out the door, feeling quit proud of herself. She wanted the whore to suffer before he died, but she wasn’t a total sadist. She didn’t want to *watch* him scream as he died giving birth to his brats.

Chi-Chi had a sudden thought occur to her. Bulma had seen her when she shot her. They would know that he didn’t die of natural causes and would try to wish him back on Namek. ‘Damn it!’ She thought in a pissed of manner. ‘Now I’ll have to get Shen Long to make it so that the slut can’t be brought back to life at all! This will take even *longer* to make it so that Gohan will move on and forgive me!’

Chi-Chi looked back at the house, contemplating whether or not she should kill Bulma too, but soon decided against it. There would be no way to naturally explain her death, and they could be good friends again when she made that wish on Shen Long. It would take another year to work, but at least the tramp and his stupid brats would be gone. ‘Maybe I should wish it so that they would all forget that he even existed.’ She thought evilly.

She just turned around and walked calmly away through the forest. She had the dragon balls hidden and would have to make that wish now before anything else happens.

************************************************************

Trunks half walked , and half dragged himself to his and Gohans room where the senzu beans were kept, leaving a trail of blood as he went. Maybe there was an extra bean that she had missed when she took them. He made it to the doorway and clutched it in pain as he screamed out another contraction.

When it was over he limped inside, and over to the small dresser next to the bed. He opened the top drawer and searched through the clothes, looking for another bean to heal himself with. There wasn’t any.

He fell to his knees in utter disappointment as more tears of pain, fear and regret fell down his cheeks. Drops of blood sweat and tears fell on the floor and dresser as he went into a sitting position on the floor and leaned against the side of the bed. Feeling another contraction coming, he braced himself.

It was so much worse than the others and seemed to just last forever. He couldn’t hold back his scream of pain, so he screamed for the one person he wanted to be with him right now.

“GOHAN!!!!!!!!!!!!”

********************************************************

//GOHAN!!!!!!!!!!!!//

Gohan snapped his neck up from the papers he was grading and nearly jumped out of his chair in shock. His amulet was burning hot around his neck, and he just heard Trunks cry out for him in pain.

He grabbed the amulet and quickly brought it out of his shirt, it felt like it was about to burn a hole through him if he kept it down there or held it for much longer, but he still held it in his hands while he looked through Trunks’ emotions. What he found nearly killed him.

‘Oh my God! It’s time!’ He thought fearfully. ‘H-how can this be? He’s a month and a half early!’ He looked again for an explanation and found unmerciful, black, and soulless hatred. ‘Oh Kami! It was kasaan!’

He looked up to see all the students giving him odd looks, but he just ignored them as he kicked them all out.

“But, Professor Son, we’re having a test!” One of the students protested.

“I don’t care! You’ll all get A+’s if you all just leave right now!” He yelled.

They didn’t need to be told twice at that statement, as they happily packed their things and left the classroom with big smiles.

Gohan ran right passed them all and out the backdoor’s of the school before charging up as high as his powers went and taking flight, not caring if anyone saw him. He had to get home as fast as he could!

He pulled out his cell phone, but when he tried to call home the operator came on saying that there was no signal. ‘Oh God, what is she doing?’ He thought fearfully as he dialled for Goten. Bulma was one of the surgeons needed to give Trunks his C-section so he would need someone else to bring her back to Capsule Corp with him. He couldn’t call for Vegeta, he never answered the phone! And with his father over there they were most likely training and wouldn’t bother with it anyway.

Goten finally answered and Gohan couldn’t have been more relieved. “Goten! Fly on down to my house right now! Mom was just there and Trunks is in labour!...................I don’t know! Just get over there!” He yelled, before hanging up the phone and pocketing it.

He continued his flight, going as fast as he could in his super saiyan two form to get to his Love before it was too late, when he noticed two beat up figures up ahead. He could have cried at his good luck in finding them.

“Tousan! Vegeta!” He screamed. They stopped flying and turned to face him as he stopped right in their faces.

“Hey, Gohan!” Goku said cheerfully. “We just finished a spar and decided to vis--”

“We have to right now!” He yelled, cutting him off. “Mom was just at my place and Trunks is in labour!”

“WHAT?!?!” Vegeta yelled in disbelief. Goku looked stunned.

“C’mon lets go already!” Gohan shouted impatiently as he took off again, not bothering to explain things any further. They didn’t need any further explanation anyway as they went super and took off flying at top speed behind him.

“Dad, can you use instant transmission to get us there faster?!?” He shouted to be heard over the wind currents.

“No! I used too much energy in the spar! We have to fly there!” Goku called back.

“Kakarrot, the one time we actually need that stupid trick of yours and we can’t even use it?!?” Vegeta yelled in annoyance. “I should kick your ass for this!”

He didn’t reply as they continued their flight. Gohan just grit his teeth in annoyance. Vegeta was right. The one time they actually *could* put that trick of his to good use and they couldn’t even use it. Goten, eventually sensing their energy, cauup wup with them, but nothing else was said as they just continued to fly to Gohans place as fast as they could.

Gohan just shook with worry and fear as several million possibilities of what could be happening right now went through his head. ‘God, please let him be ok.....Please.’

****************************************************

Trunks screamed out in pain again, as his next contraction seemed to just tear apart his insides and then leave nothing to salvage or recognise but the scorching agony of it all. His sight left him some time ago and all that he could see was a bright white cloud in his face. At first he thought that he was finally dying, but knew he was still alive when another contraction hit.

He found his sword on top of the bed a while before, too. Chi-Chi must’ve dropped it there when she stole the senzu beans, and he held it tightly to himself for protection just in case she would try to come back.

When he found it an idea flashed across his mind that he could use it to cut himself open and get his babies out himself, so at least they would live whereas he would die painfully anyway. Several factors got in the way of *that* plan. Number one being that he couldn’t see and would probably kill them before he would save them, and number two being that he didn’t know what he was doing to begin with, and the third reason was he didn’t want Gohan to find him dead like that.

Trunks suddenly heard the creaking of the stairs, and he clutched at his sword tighter to prepare to defend what was left of himself, but he relaxed and felt a great surge of relief as he heard his mother’s voice in the doorway.

“Oh my God, my baby!” Bulma cried out as she ran to him and fell to her knees before hugging him tight.

“M-mom, you’re a-alive!” Trunks cried out happily, but he didn’t have the strength to let go of the sword and raise his hands to hug her back. He couldn’t see her but from the strength of her hug and the sound of her voice, she appeared to be just fine.

“M-mom, I-I’m having the babies.” He choked out through the blood in his mouth and the pain through his body.

“Oh my God.” She whispered fearfully. “T-the phones aren’t working. Do you have any senzu beans?” She asked in a frantic tone. He shook his head. “S-she stole them.”

He then heard what sounded like sobbing and felt a few wet drops fall on his hands. “M-mom, please don’t c-cry.” He said in sorrow. He needed her calm and collected if she was going to help him with this.

“M-mom, I’m going to die, a-and I want you to get my b-babies out when I do.” He said, blindly pushing the handle of the sword at her for her to take. “I-I don’t want them t-to die.”

Bulma slowly took it, knowing that if he did die, and at this point there was a VERY high chance of that, then she should would have to cut him open to try and save her grandchildren. The question was: could she do it? Could she cut him open and pull out the twins herself?...Yes. There was no other way. She had too. ‘Not if I can’t help it.’ She thought determindly.

“I-it won’t come to that, sweety, I promise.” She said shakily without really believing it. It was so hard for her to look at him. His eyes were so dull, she could tell that he couldn’t see her as his pale blue eyes just stared right through her. His own blood was everywhere and he was sitting in a small pool of it, while more blood spilled down the sides of his mouth and oozed out of the wound on his stomach.

He seemed to smile at her through the blood and pain before he screamed out another contraction. She held him close to her for support as her own tears came harder at the sound of her only son screaming in pain. “I-it hurts so m-much!” He cried out.

She didn’t have a chance to answer him as she heard the front door downstairs practically smash open and several voices call out.

“Trunks! Where are you?!?”

“Onna! Brat! Where the fuck are you?!?”

It was Gohan and Vegeta, and it sounded like Goku and Goten were down there too. Her heart leapt for pure joy at the sound of their beautiful voices. “We’re up here!” She cried out before turning back to her son, with some hope in her voice. “You’re gone oke ok now, helps on its way.” She said soothingly as the sound of four fully grown saiyans charged upstairs and to the room they were in just to have all the blood on the hallway floor as well as the gory sight inside meet their eyes.

“Oh my God.” Gohan whispered, as he ran over to him. The very sight of him made him want to be sick. There was a large gash, just above his stomach with blood everywhere!

“G-Gohan?” Trunks choked out after he heard his Koi’s voice. He would have cried at the wonderful sound in relief, but he was already doing that.

“Yes, Koi, I’m here. Don’t worry, I’m taking you to Capsule Corp and you’re gonna be just fine.” He tried to say it as calmly as possible, but failed as he said it in shakes while gently picking him up. “I c-can’t see you.” He said before crying out as another contraction came in full force.

Gohan stood there, looking at his face in complete shock, as he remembered that dream he’d had a couple of months back. Trunks was in labour and wearing a white T-shirt as a slash appeared across his enlarged stomach and he cried out in pain, while unable to see him before dying. ‘Oh my God, please no! Please don’t take him from me again!’

“He’s having contractions every two minutes!” Bulma said frantically, cutting off his silent prayers. “We need to give him the C-section as soon as possible!”

He quickly nodded his head and shoved the awful memory of that horrible dream in the far reaches of his mind. He had to worry about his Koi right now, not some dream. “Alright, Goten, take Bulma and follow me back to Capsule Corp.” He immediately nodded his head and picked her up, and then Gohan dug through his jacket and pulled out his cell phone and gave it to her. “Call your father, tell him that we’re coming and that he should get all the delivery robots ready.”

She quickly took the phone from his outstretched hand and dialled for her father while both Goten and Gohan quickly powered up and ran downstairs with their passengers in hand as fast as they could.

Goku and Vegeta followed closely behind and quickly took off in the air with them, once they made it outside. “Kakkarot, I want you to come with me!” Vegeta called out angrily. Goku just looked at him in confusion. Their grandchildren were about to be born and they should be there shouldn’t they? What did he want to leave for?

“What for?” He called out finally.

The saiyan prince just glared at him. “That stupid onna has gone too far this time!” He stated. “I’m going to find her and kill her, but I need you there with me!” He yelled, getting annoyed and more agitated by the second.

Goku wasn’t too sure what he was needed for, when he could just as easily track her down himself, but when he looked at Trunks screaming in Gohans hold, he cringed. ‘This is all my fault. I shouldn’t have let her go.’ He thought sadly. Because of him his son-in-law and unborn grandchildren could die. The very least he could do was just do as Vegeta asked.

“Alright, Vegeta. I’ll go with you.” He called to him. He then turned towards his son. “Gohan--”

“I know dad, and I understand.” He called out to his father without looking at him. “You just make sure that she suffers before she goes, Vegeta!” He yelled out heartlessly as another contraction ripped through Trunks’ body and caused him to cry out in pain again.

Vegeta looked over at his son when he answered. “It *will* be my pleasure!” He said before turning around and flying away and out of sight with Goku not far behind.

Bulma finally hung up the cell phone. “Alright, everything’s ready for him we just need to get there!” She called out. Goten flew in a little closer to them.

“We’re almost there, buddy, you’re gonna be ok.” He said soothingly while Bulma reached out to touch his sweating face and to try to get him to relax and use certain breathing techniques that could help with the pain. They didn’t seem to help as he cried out again in the agony of the contractions. Unable to make any real coherent sounds through his cries of pain he just clutched at Gohans shoulder and buried his face in his neck, as if it would make all the pain disappear.

Gohan just flew as fast as he could, with his screaming load on down to Capsule Corp. He couldn’t believe it. ‘Trunks is a month and a half early! This shouldn’t be happening! It can’t be happening!’ He thought desperately, but it was, and once again he wasn’t there when he was needed. He cringed as another scream ran through his love. He was in so much pain. The contractions that were supposed to be bringing their child into the world were instead killing them both, as the child inside of him tried to push through a space that simply wasn’t there, tearing up Trunks from the inside and suffocating their child.

‘That bitch WILL pay for this!’ He silently vowed. ‘How could she? To try and kill her own son-in-law and unborn grandchild? And she thinks *we’re* disgusting? I forgave her too! I let her in my house and continued to do this!! This is all my fault! I should’ve been there!’ The ten minute flight to Capsule Corp that he flew to almost every day seemed to be taking much longer no matter how much he powered up or how fast he flew. Goten flew closely next to him with Bulma still clutched in his arms as she looked at her only son in worry.

Trunks clutched at his swelling and bleeding stomach and cried out in pain again, with blood streaming down the sides of his mouth. There was so much blood. If it wasn’t pouring out the side of his mouth, then he had to swallow it all or risk choking on it as he screamed in agony. The gash on his stomach wasn’t doing so well either, with the blood clearly visible through his white T-shirt and streaming blood staining his own shirt and jacket. “Hang on, Trunks! We’re almost there! You just stay with me!”

Gohan bit his lip to the point where it bled. He had lost Trunks once before, and by some act of Kami they found each other again despite the interference of his mother. This time, however there would be no mistaking it if Trunks were to die in his arms. No miracle to bring him back. Nothing. ‘Please, Kami I can’t lose him twice! I just can’t!’

“G-Gohan?” Trunks choked out through the pain and blood, tears streaming down his face.

“Don’t speak, Trunks! You need to save your strength!”

Trunks suddenly inhaled deeply, as if he were choking on the very air itself. “D-don...l-let them cut off...t-tail.”

“I won’t let them, Trunks. Just try to save your strength, your going to make it!” He said with a little doubt in his voice. The giant Dome that was Capsule Corp finally came into view and Gohans heart leapt. ‘We really are going to make it!’ He thought excitedly.

Trunks blindly reached his hand out to cup Gohans cheek. “I...l-love....you.............” He slowly exhaled all the air his lungs were holding and closed his eyes as his body went limp. Gohan gasped at the sight, as tears started to flow down his own face. Bulma and Goten had tears running down their own faces as well as they watched in horror.

“TRUNKS!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

They landed roughly on Capsule Corps front lawn where Bulma’s father was waiting. He ran up to him with Trunks’ limp form. “Mr. Bs, Is, I don’t know what to do! We’ve got to do something! I think he’s dead!” Bulma got down from Goten’s hold and ran up to them.

“Calm down, Gohan!” He yelled as he placed a shaking finger to his neck. He breathed a sigh of utter relief when he found his grandsons pulse. “He’s not dead! Hurry up and get him inside!” Gohan wasted no time in running past him and into the Capsule Corp hospital wing where he found a room and gently placed him on an awaiting bed.

Bulma and her father ran in and quickly started to put on their hospital gowns, while some surgical robots gave Trunks some needles to keep him asleep and to disinfect his wounds. There seemed to be several more than what was normally needed, but that didn’t surprise him with the injuries his Koi sustained “What do you want me to do, Bulma?” Gohan asked. He couldn’t stand just sitting by and doing nothing like this, and he was trained in this field of work, so he could help to deliver his child if he or she was still alive.

“Nothing, Gohan. You should go and wait outside.” She said to him sternly while getting a scalpel ready. “WHAT?!?” He screamed furiously at the idea of being kicked out. “Why not!? I need to be here! I’m the father and the husband!”

“Your way too out of it, THAT’S why!” Bulma yelled back. “Do you really think that you could concentrate on something like this in the state of mind your in? Now go!”

“But--”

“Come with me dear.” Gohan turned around to see Bulma’s mother. When did she come in? She put a hand on his shoulder to try and get him to come with her. “We’ll go boil some water and get the baby things ready.”

Before he knew what was happening, he was being shoved out the door only to have it slam and lock in his face. He just stared at it stupidly for a moment. The only thought that entered his brain while he looked was that his Koi was on the other side. Giving birth and possibly dying. He felt his anger getting ready to spill over the edge of his mental rim. ‘If ANYTHING happens to him, I’ll--’

“We should go now, dear.” Mrs. Brief said soothingly while tugging on his shirt. He didn’t look at her. “No. I’m not going anywhere, Briefs-san. I’m staying right here until it’s over.” He turned around and sat down on the bench that was on the other side of the hall, facing the door and he crossed his arms.

Mrs. Briefs sighed. She knew there was nothing she could do if he chose to not go with her. What was she supposed to do? MAKE him go? What a joke. “I’ll get you something to drink then.” She said before walking away.

Gohan just sat there scowling at the door. He SO wished that his father had not gone with Vegeta to find his mother. If Vegeta had gone alone and found her then he would most likely kill her, but with his father along for the ride, odds are he would try to have her spared. The only thing that Gohan knew at this point that seemed to matter was that if he ever sees her ever again, he WOULD kill her without hesitation. Slowly. This was the third time she tried to keep them apart. Only this time was far worse. ‘She dug her own grave doing this!’

Gohan suddenly became very afraid. His scowl was replaced with a look of total fear and worry as all the horrible possibilities of today’s events came to mind. What if Trunks dies? What if their child dies? What if they BOTH die? What would he do? Gohan sat forward on the bench, resting his elbows on his knees as he clasped his hands together and hid his face in them. The last time Trunks had gone, he tried to kill himself. Vegeta had been the one who saved his life. It was his father who found him, but Vegeta had saved him. Because if it weren’t for him and his words he would have kept trying to die until he succeeded.

But.....If they were to die now....what would be left? He wouldn’t try to kill himself again, but he wouldn’t be able to move on without them. What kind of Kami in heaven would let this happen? Why did Chi-Chi have to be such a self righteous bitch!?!

He sighed in his hands and began to silently pray. It was all he could do. He lost his Koi before and didn’t want it to happen again. It couldn’t end like this. It can’t!

He didn’t even notice Goten walk in or sit down next to him, or put his hand on his shoulder for support. If he did then he would have been very grateful for it.

“He’ll be ok.” Goten said quietly without any real hope that he would be. Trunks just seemed to be too far gone.

Gohan turned towards him suddenly, finally noticing he was there and happy that he was. “Jesus Goten, I thought he was dead! I thought he died in my arms on the way here.” He whispered as several troubled tears fell down his face.

“Trunks will be ok, Gohan. Don’t you worry, he’s very strong and he’s lived through injuries that were just as bad as this. And the babies will be alright too.” He said without thinking.

Gohan gave a weak smile at his brother, grateful for his support. Then he suddenly realized what he had just said. ‘Babies? As in plural??’

“Goten, what do you mean by babies?” He asked, a little dry throated. Goten let go of his shoulder in surprise, as if he were just hit with a stun gun. “You don’t know yet?” He asked a little startled that he gave away the big surprise. He would have thought that someone would have told him about it by now, at least to try and prepare him in case something went wrong.

“Know what?!! What the hell is going on!?!” Gohan got up and yelled at him, getting pissed off at not knowing something about Trunks’ pregnancy that could be important.

Goten got up and put his arm around his older brothers shoulder. He seemed to think about whether or not he should answer before he decided that he should know at this point. “Gohan...” He began, unsure of the right words for this. “This was supposed to be a surprise, but...Trunks is carrying twins.” He finally spit out.

Gohan was shocked. He looked from Goten to the door that Trunks was behind and then back again in disbelief. “T-twins?” He choked out. At the sight of his slowly nodding head his eyes rolled upward and he passed right out. Goten had to catch him before he fell on the hard floor. He then checked to see if he was ok, giving him light slaps on the cheeks to try and wake him up.

Mrs. Brief suddenly returned with a tall glass of lemonade. “Oh dear.” She sighed at the sight.

**********************************************************

Gohan slowly opened his eyes. He was in a guest bedroom in bed, but currently thought he was still at home. “Kami, what a horrible nightmare!” He thought out loud, miserably. He closed his eyes and lazily turned over expecting Trunks to be there when he reached his hand out, but was surprised to find that he wasn’t there. His eyes shot wide open and he looked around, suddenly remembering that it *wasn’t* some nightmare that he had just had.

He jumped out of bed and took note of how his bloody shirt and jacket had been removed. There was a clean blue T-shirt on a nearby chair waiting for him though. He grabbed it, pulled it on and ran out the door of the guest room, furious with himself for fainting like that.

‘Twins?’ He thought to himself as he ran through the halls like a madman. ‘My god, Twins! I can’t believe this! And she knew too!’ He checked the Ki’s of everyone in the building to find out where they all were and headed in that direction.

Everyone was all outside Trunks’ room, aside from his father and Vegeta, and he just had to wonder how long he was out for if there was enough time to track everyone down and get them over here. Even Piccolo was there. He could only sense Mr. Briefs in the surgery room. ‘The surgery must be over.’ He though as he ran faster. Gohan then quickly checked his Koi’s Ki to see if he was alright.

His heart went in his throat when he, at first, couldn’t find it. But then he found his prince’s unmistakable signature, still alive but only just barely. He felt like crying when he sensed him. His Ki felt small, thin and weaker than the flame on a candle. The fact that it was fluctuating didn’t help.

He nearly tripped over his own two feet as he ran down the hallway, only to skid to a stop near Trunks’ room where everyone was waiting outside discussing something. The first thing he did was frantically ask Bulma all the questions on his mind. “Bulma, is he ok? Can I see him? Were the babies alright? Where are--”

“Gohan stop!” She shouted.

Gohan froze and Bulma sighed . “W-what’s wrong?” He asked fearful for his love’s life. She bit her lip and looked down. Gohan was terrified now. “Bulma, what’s wrong?” He whispered again. He looked at the solemn faces of everyone in the room before he turned back to her. She ran a shaking hand through her hair before telling him the problem.

“Well...the twins are safe. They were born healthy despite being premature and the gash across Trunks’ stomach, so there’s no need to worry about them, they only need to stay here for a few days get a little more weight put on them.” She said before forcing on a light smile. “And guess what? It’s a boy *and* a girl.” She said lightly while trying to sound a little happy.

Gohan looked stunned and then a little happy at the news. “A boy and girl? That’s great! What could be wrong then? I can sense Trunks still, so what’s the matter?”

Bulma sighed again. She was fighting back tears at this point. “He lost a lot of blood through his wounds and the internal injuries he suffered when he went into labour.”

“Can’t we just give him a blood transfusion?” He asked quickly, trying to find an immediate solution to the problem, but getting a sinking feeling his stomach that they already tried that.

She slowly shook her head. “Because he’s half saiyan, the human and saiyan blood in myself and Vegeta created a new blood type when he was born. The same goes for you and Goten. There’s not a match anywhere, not even in Bra.” She said shakily, a few tears slipping down her face at that last statement.

Gohan felt sick, his throat dried to the point where it tasted like sandpaper and the room spun a little. “W-what about senzu beans?” He choked out.

It was Piccolo who spoke up at this point. “ I just got back from Karin’s and there were no senzu beans. He said he won’t have any for at least two weeks.”

“TWO WEEKS?!?!” He yelled in shock and disbelief.

Everyone nodded their heads slowly. “Well he’ll be ok, right?” He asked on the verge of some tears of his own. Bulma looked at him right in the face before she choked back a sob. “H-he might not even make it through the night!” She cried out before starting to full out sob. Her mother put her arms around her in a hug, trying to put an end to her sobbing.

Gohan felt so sick. His Koi was dying? He suddenly felt a hand grab on his shoulder from behind and a warm and sympathetic voice speak to him. “Come with me, son.” He slowly turned to see Mr. Briefs. “You can see him now, but it can only be for a few minutes. Everyone else will wait out here.”

Gohan couldn’t make words come out of his mouth at this point, so he just nodded his head eagerly and followed Trunks’ grandfather into his room. He slowly walked into the white room, a nervous tension surrounding him as he went, hearing the beeping sounds that indicated Trunks’ heart monitor as he went. It sounded irregular. There was a hospital curtain covering the top half of the bed he was lying on. Before he could take another step to get to him, Mr. Briefs spoke. “I’ll give you this time alone with him, and then I’ll come back to show you the children.”

He slowly nodded his head and when he heard the light click of the door shutting, he continued on to Trunks bed, hearing the sound of his footsteps as he walked closer to his Koi. Gohan slowly pulled back the curtain and had to choke back a sob. Trunks was just lying there, unmoving, with breathing tubs down his nose and an IV to pump anaesthetics into his system.

**Deep in my soul

Love so strong

It takes control**

A few tears slipped down his face as he quickly sat down in a small chair beside the bed and took Trunks' cold hand into his own and kissed it, knowing fully well that this could be the last time he ever held his Koi’s hand. He tried to hold back his tears and sobs, but they stubbornly came anyway as he took note of how bad Trunks looked. He was so ghostly pale from the blood loss, even his hair looked paler. He gently ran his hand through the silk like he always did but quickly recoiled his hand as if he had just been burned.

He was so cold! Gohan gently took the blanket covering him and moved it closer to his top half, being careful to avoid any contact with his stomach due to all the stitches that were there.

He unsuccessfully tried to hold back more tears, as he kissed his hand again. “I don’t deserve you. I don’t! I hurt you all the time, yet you blame yourself for it! Please don’t leave me! Don’t die! I’ll make it up to you, I swear I will!” He wiped away some tears with his free hand and ran it through Trunks’ hair again. “We’ve finally got our babies and now we have to raise them together. I-I don’t know if I can do it without you.”

**Now we both know

The secrets there

The feeling shows**

The monitor for Trunks’ heart started to slow down a bit. He bit back down on his already split lip, causing it to bleed again and fiddled with the medallion around his neck nervously. It was still a little hot, and he could feel the small piece of Trunks’ Ki slowly fading away inside. ‘I just wish that you could hear me.’

**Driven far apart

I make a wish

On a shooting star**

//Gohan?.....Is that you?//

Gohan gasped. That was Trunks’ voice, but he was looking right at him and didn’t see his lips move or anything! “K-koi? I-is that you?” He whispered shakily, while thinking about the loss of his sanity at the same time.

//Yes, Gohan it is.// He said happily.

He was stunned. Once again Trunks’ lips didn’t move to form the words that he *knew* he’d heard. Did he hear them? It sounded more like they were being spoken in his head. “H-how is this happening?” He asked, a little unsure of what was going on. He and Trunks weren’t telepathic, so how could he hear him inside of his mind?

//Maybe it’s your amulet.// Trunks said with wonder in his own voice. Gohan decided to see if this worked both ways.

//C-can you hear me?//

//Yes, Go-chan, I can.... I’m so tired.// He replied, the voice inside of his head getting more tired and slow by the minute.

**There will come a day

Somewhere far away

In your arms I'll stay

My only love...**

He nearly cried when he heard that. //T-Trunks you’ve got to try and stay with us. We don’t have any senzu beans so you’ve got to stay with me until we can get them.// He said to him inside of his head.

//....I don’t think I can, Go-chan.// He said slowly.

More tears slipped down his face, but he didn’t want Trunks to know that he was crying so he stifled his sobs as best as he could. //P-please, Koi, you have to try and fight this! I don’t want to lose you again!// He called out him desperately.

//....Blood loss isn’t something....that I can fight....Go-chan.// He said back tiredly.

**Even though your gone

love will still live on

The feeling is so strong

My only love.**

Gohan looked stunned when he said that. //You know?//

//Yes....I was...sitting in a pool of my own blood.......howld Ild I not know?//

He really didn’t know what to say to that, but Trunks just continued on, trying to change the subject. //Do you know about them yet?//

Gohan managed to put on a week smile through his tears when he heard that. //Y-yes Koi, I know about our twins.// He then chuckled. //It was a *very* good surprise!//

//...Glad you like it.....Are they ok?//

//Yes, Tru-chan, they are. And you’ll never believe this, but we have a boy *and* a girl!//

//Really?......What will you name our......daughter?// Trunks asked in a more fatigue driven tone.

**There will come a day

Somewhere far away

In your arms I'll stay

My only love**

//I was thinking of using Gorawen. I found it on the internet, it means joy.//

//I think it’s perfect, Go-chan..........Did you see them yet?//

He shook his head, even though he knew that Trunks couldn’t see it. //No, and I’m not going to unless you’re there with me, so you have to pull through for me.//

//.......I think you should......go and see them.......the trip to Namek takes a.............few weeks so if you don’t......then it will be a long time....until you do.//

Gohan squeezed his eyes shut through the pain that went through his soul when that was said. //Please don’t say that, Koi. I need you here with me so bad. The dragon didn’t bring you back last time and I think it won’t do it again. I-I can’t survive without you, please you have to live.//

//I wasn’t dead........the last time........Gohan.//

//You might as well have been dead with how low your energy was! Trunks please, you just have to stay with me, I can’t do that again. I can’t lose you twice!//

**You've reach the deepest part

Of the secret in my heart

You've known it from the start

My only love**

//I’m trying.....I really am........but I.....just can’t.......Gohan?//

//Yes?//

//It yot you.......to kiss me.//

//I’m not kissing you goodbye, Trunks, because your not dying on me!//

//Not for goodbye......just for when I.....see you again.....please?//

**There will come a day

Somewhere far away

In your arms I'll stay

My only love**

He couldn’t resist his soft pleas any longer. //Will you even be able to feel it?// He asked with uncertainty.

//I can......feel you.... holding my...........hand.// He said simply for an explanation.

That was all the proof that he needed. Gohan slowly stood up and bent over his semi sleeping form. He didn’t want to stop him from breathing or even give him trouble with it, so when he kissed him he made sure to do it very gently, but very passionately while silently praying that it wouldn’t be their last kiss. //Can you feel that?// He asked while still softly kissing his unmoving lips. In the back of his mind he childishly hoped that Trunks would open his eyes at his kiss and be all better, just like in some old fairy tale, but they just stayed shut as his Ki continued to lower to more deadly levels. Almost to the point where he couldn’t sense him at all despite their current closeness.

//Yes, I can.......I love you, Gohan.........so, so much........and I’m sorry that I have to leave.......but we’ll be together again.......real soon.............................................//

Gohan gasped in horror as he quickly broke off the kiss, and felt the small piece of Ki that was left in Trunks give one final fighting fluctuation, before disappearing into nothingness like a heartbeat or the weak flame on a match. The same went for the piece of Ki in his amulet.

He looked into the dead face of his Koi in complete and utter disbelief, as his already lingering tears came harder in a constant flow down his already soaked cheeks. He could hear the heart monitor as it gave off an ongoing sound that signalled how Trunks’ heart had stopped, but he just had to look and see for himself.

He slowly turned his head towards the source of the heartbreaking sound, and when Gohans eyes came into contact with the straight red line that made it’s way across the screen, he let the blackness that took his soul a moment ago swallow him whole without a fight.

Gohan then turned back to face his Koi’s broken body. “C-come back.....please come back, no y-you can’t be dead! No, please come back!” He cried out while grabbing his shoulders and shaking them lightly, as if that would miraculously bring life back into his lifeless body.

**You've reach the deepest part

Of the secret in my heart

You've known it from the start

my only love,**

“COME BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
