Chapter 7
He slowly pulled on the trigger, sending the bullet plummeting through his skull. As his body fell to the floor, the gun slipped from his hand and slip to another picture they had that he threw on the floor, the handle had smeared a small trail with it, and that led more of the red life-giving substance to the picture.
When dawn broke, Hilde woke to see her naked body huggling on to Trowa’s. She carefully made her way out of the bed and into her clothes, and out the door. She held her head in shame, thinking of what had happened the night before with Trowa. Questions raced through her head, ways that Duo could react to her telling him about what had happened followed, until the sound of sirens broke her concentration. “That sounds like it’s coming from our place…..” She ran towards the noise, pushing through the crowd, she stopped when she got into the house and pass the police in the bedroom. She seen the figure under a dark blanket, and seeing it soaked in blood. She could tell I was his body, she remembered all the times she would watch him sleep when she couldn’t. She fell to her knees, hands clenched tightly, tears streaming down her cheeks. “Duo………….Why….?”
