Toritsukarete iru
"Nii-san! Wait for me!" A ten-year-old boy with short blonde hair and amber eyes turned around to see his only brother running to him. He smiled happily at his brother as he clumsily ran to him. His eyes widen as he saw his brother's flesh starting to disintegrate in font of him. "NII-SAN!! HELP ME!" The ten year old backed away slowly bumped into a person behind him. He turned to see his mother rotting in front of him, blood dripping from all of her bodily openings. "Edward... you did this to me...” She whispered to the frightened boy.
The boy curled up into a small ball and shook as if he was crying. He covered his ears to block out the screams and accusations coming from his mother and brother.
"EDWARD!"
"NII-SAN!"
"EDWARD IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!"
"NII-SAN HELP ME!? WHY AREN'T YOU HELPING ME?"
"EDWARD WAKE UP! DAMN IT!"
Chapter Six: Toritsukarete iru
Yami let out struggled gasps for air as he held on to Roy. Tears fell freely as the tsumi held on to Roy as if he was his only lifeline. "Why?" Yami cried out after the crying subsided slightly. "Hmm? Why what?" Roy asked as the tsumi clang to him. "Why did you call me 'Edward'?" Roy's eyes widen as he realized that he did in fact call the tsumi, Edward. The golden color had eaten most of the purple over the course of 3 weeks of living with Roy. Yami remembered most of the past. But the human alchemy was still a touchy memory. It was as if the soul inside didn't want Yami to remember it, nor apparently did Yami when the soul let him look.
Roy looked away and let the boy go. "I'm sorry." Was all he could say and left the guest room, leaving the boy alone. Yami sighed and noticed that it was still dark outside. Thank god Roy has a day off tomorrow.... or is it today now? Yami closed his eyes not really wanting to go to sleep. I wished he stayed with me...Even if he calls me Edward.... I just want the company...
Roy woke up to the sweet smells of someone cooking in the kitchen. Roy got up and dressed into a pair of faded blue jeans and a white shirt with a low collar. He put on a pair of with socks and walked down the stairs wondering who was cooking. Can homunculus cook? Roy thought as he entered the kitchen and saw the blonde at the stove moving the spatula quickly. Roy could tell that Yami was making him breakfast to make up for last night or to say “Thank you”. "Yami, what are you doing? You don't usually eat." Roy asked, startling the poor blonde. "Sit down, breakfast will be done in a minute!" Yami said in a cheerful voice.
Yami carefully cut the omelette in quarters and put it on the plate next to a few slices of bacon, sausage, and two pieces of buttered toast. Yami sat the plate in front of Roy and opened a drawer grabbing a fork and knife. Yami careful set the two utensils near the plate and set a cup of coffee and milk in font of Roy. "Well you eat. I'm going to get dressed." Yami sighed and left Roy in the kitchen to test the food. Roy sighed and took a bite of the omelette. It was nice and fluffy, with just the right spices and temperature. Damn it. He needs to teach me how to cook! Roy thought as he ate the delicious food.
Yami knew where Roy always went on his days off. He went to the 1st branch of the Central library, where state alchemists were only allowed. Yami sneaked through the highest window in the library and watched Roy while reading a book on elemental Alchemy. Roy looked from the comer of his eye and smiled at the reading Homunculus who didn't realize how into the book he was nor did he realize that the older man caught him. Unknown to the man, the eyes reading the book were not multi-colored, but Amber. Amber eyes that looked up and longed for something.
Edward found it easier to control the body, when Roy was around. He felt as if he was slowly connecting to the tsumi, making the small soul that he still had bigger. He finished the book and stared at Roy on a tall shelf. He had his back to the wall and had his arms warped around his legs that were pulled close to his chest. Ed knew it was wrong to even think that Roy would want him anymore. Especially like this. A homunculus. A human's worst enemy. He leaned his head against the wall and closed his eyes.
I hate not being able to touch him. I hate not being able to feel his warmth completely. I hate being like this. Fuck. I should be Envy. I do a lot better job at it then the actual Envy. Ed opened his eyes and saw Amethyst eyes looking back at his. "Soooo, Chibi-san, How ya feeling?" Ed glared at the tsumi as Envy gave him a cocky smirk. "I'm not short. Bastard." Ed said and noticed that Roy was gone. Shit. "So, is chibi-san in full control now?" Envy asked looking at the blonde. "None of your fucking business, Senbo-baka."
"Yes it is. It is my business. If your gaining control.... you’ll be human." Envy growled at the other "homunculus". "Why are you telling me this?" Ed growled back glaring distrustfully at Envy. Envy leaned down so that his face was only an inch from Ed's. "Cause.... I want your ass, O-Chibi." Ed gave Envy a disgusted look and jumped down from the shelf. "You’re not getting it again, Senbo-roba." With that Ed jumped on to another shelf and went to look for the baka General. Fucking Envy...Can't he ever not state the obvious? Ed sighed as he found Roy looking through a shelf and then heading over to the check out counter. Edward slid out of a window and quickly went to sit on the front stairs of the library acting as if he was waiting for the man the whole time.
Roy laid down on his bed and closed his eyes. Yami's acting funny. He opened his eyes to see a set of amber one's in front of his. "When did you come out of your shell today?" Roy asked the amber eyes and closed his once more. "At the library." Ed answered and sat on Roy's lower abdomen. Roy nodded and opened his eyes to look at his once lover. "So, why are you bugging me now?" Edward gave him a smile. "Cause I like you better in bed." Roy laughed and gave Ed a smirk. "What do you want, Ed?" Roy asked the blonde and watched as the blonde leaned down closer to him. " I want you, but I can't have you. Not yet." With that the blonde kissed him shortly and left the room. Your such a fucking tease, Ed.
