Chapter seven: A saiyajin child

Hiei and Gohan went to the top of the mobile fortress and started to look at the landscape in search of humans. Gohan frowned "There's something I don't like at all" He paused and the other gave him a strange look "The demons that attack humans are stronger each time" Hiei nodded, he had noticed it too "not everyone is happy having to look after humans..." he said more to himself than to Gohan "You're right" he agreded "It is probably that someone is trying to get organised and to rebel to this. But they are being very secretive" "For their own sake" he replied 'if they rebel in the open Makai's ruler will kill them inmidiately' "Well, they are cowards" the demi-saiyajin stated "Hn. Look who says this. The one always too afraid to fight" he spat, knowing he shouldn't have said it. Rage run through Gohan and his hair stayed up and turned gold, his eyes passing from black to a grenish blue. 'how does he dare? I'm not a coward! I just don't use all my strenght because I don't mean to cause trouble. Why can't he understand that!' "You know nothing!" he said angrily unconsciously sending him a flash of yellow energy that left the other in shock. The energy was so strong and deep and it spoke volums about rage. The deepest rage he had ever felt in other, as deep as Mukuro's had been. And something more...sadness and restraint. Mostly sadness. How could it be that one being's energy could express so much? It was not just his jagan...it was something more...maybe it was something about the saiyajins? 'I was right. He's not balanced. He could fight more and better and quicker but he doesn't. Has some issues with it' While thinking this, Hiei feel someone trying to attack him from the back and send it a flame. The creature retracted but wasn't weakened. He could see Gohan fighting against another one. They weren't the usual demon beasts that tried to eat humans. As soon as he identified them he knew that they could talk and listen. He sent a more powerful flame into the beast and it contorted from the pain "What's your purpose?" The beast crawled to the ground and he punched it and infringed it some wounds with the sword. "What's your purpose? Don't try to lie to me." he repeated while opening his jagan to force it to answer "I-ha-have-ha-to do as-uggh-ordered. K-kill the hu-humaaanssss. He-ha-wanted tooo" "Who?" the fire apparition questioned insensitive to its pain " The d-demonnn who uuugh paiddd ussss. Don't s-seee itsss f-face arrgh" "fine" the other said angry at not getting anywhere by this. He turned back, Gohan was beating down the other beast quickly enough with a frown of concentration in his face. He was restraining himself. "Idiot! If you keep doing it that way it will last forever. Finnish off quickly! Want us having to explain about the human's death?" He didn't care about the human that the beasts were trying to kill, however, he knew that Gohan will. He always did. As expected, Gohan's eyes widened and he ki-blasted the beast killing it in second. Afterwards he ki-blasted the other. His features relaxed at doing so, his restrain had been taking him to the edge. So he could let himself indulge at least a little bit. Good, it had been a hell staying all that time wanting to really use his powers but restraining them just in fear of...'Hiei was right. I had been being a coward' he thought and then reverted to his normal state his expression serious as he looked for the human. Strange he felt as he had sensed this energy before. He then stopped in his tracks, shocked. The black-haired came near him, looking from the lavender-haired brat to Gohan. "It's T...Trunks" he said in a trembling voice. At this sound the child seemed to recover "Ouch. Where am I? What was this hole there? And who are you?" he asked in a daring voice, his arms crossed in his chest and his expression not a friendly one. 'how daring' Hiei thought 'eh?what's this about his energy. It's strange too. Similar to Gohan's' Realisation struck him. He probably was a saiyajin too. "How do you ended up here Trunks?" asked the demi-saiyajin "Err, do you know my name? I don't know you" "I, err, heard about you. My name is Gohan and this is Hiei" "Gohan...Gohan" the child stood up with his index finger in his chin seemed in deep thought "Ah! You're the lost brother Goten is always talking about! Yeah, I'm sure the one who fought against Cell!" Hiei noticed him getting white at the name of Cell for few seconds but then it was gone. " I have a brother?!" he asked "Yes!" Trunks said enthuasticly "Of course you don't know him. His name's Goten. He's my best pal!" "Life is full surprises" Gohan whispered "Ok, Trunks so what happened?" "I don't really know. I was sparring with Goten at the place where you are said to have left and then some kind of black hole engulfed me!" 'just like me' "Hiei I think we should keep this boy with us. I know him, he doesn't come from Ningenkai" "He's a saiyajin, isn't he?" "Yep, half-saiyajin like me" He looked at him with a scold in his face. It was pretty obvious than both Gohan and this boy came from the same place. A place that was neither Makai nor Ningenkai and he doubted it was Reikai. Kurama had been right when he talk to him, Yusuke's second in command probably came from another dimension...and right now had a lot to explain to him. "come in" he said as he send a telepatical message to Gohan 'you owe me some explanations' 'I'll give then to you later' Hiei leaded the path and Gohan went behind him with Trunks by his side "Hey, Gohan?Who's this guy he sure looks a lot like my father" "I told you Trunks, this is Hiei. He's a fire demon and he surely is not that similar to your father" He didn't know why he insisted on making this point so clear. 'maybe because Vegeta, contrary to Hiei, doesn't wake up your sexual desire' a tiny voice in his head said 'Hiei? Sure he's hot and sexy and dark and honorable and...Just enough of this thinking Gohan! He barely speaks to you. This feeling is not right' he shook his head and attempt and bring the apparition out of his head. Trunks, on the contrary looked at Hiei with interest 'He seems strong. Gohan's right. He's different from my father, his eyes are red' "Why do you have red eyes?" questioned fearless "Stupid brat" the other snorted annoyed. Trunks deepened his frown, he didn't like being called stupid. He just tolerated it from his father for who he was. "Hash, don't call be stupid!" he said biting into Hiei's hand. The other made a exclamation of pain. The boy was a beast how could a child bite that hard? Gohan chuckled. " I'm going to kill you!" he said in a murderous tone, very similar to his father when he was really pissed for something he did. "Hiei calm down. Besides it's your fault for not calling him Trunks" "You and I. Have to chat a little" he replied. Gohan gulped nerviously "Trunks wait for us in this room, will you?" he said "Yep!No problem" then he looked in Hiei's direction "I let him go with you because he wants but don't dare you annoy my best pal's brother, right?" he said defiantly.' Damn brat when I have forced the explanations out of Gohan I'm going to do something about him' Gohan looked at the boy and at the more than pissed Hiei with a nervous laugh "Let's go" he said more because he needed to get the two a part than because he wished to talk. Hiei started to walk and Gohan followed.
