Chapter 7

Duo’s POV

I sat there with Quatre alone as the other boys went to find some food to eat well Trowa and Wufei went for food and Heero went to check our course. Quatre said he was sorry my hair had been cut off. That was all he said while he did a very fine job with cutting my hair.

It felt good when he ran his hands through it, he hums a very relaxing tune now this is not as traumatizing. When he was done it was even at my shoulders then I feel him take my hair and start to weave it again.

“Here I will make you a new braid and it will grow just as well and maybe faster since this was the first time it has been cut.” He says into my ear I was looking in the mirror at myself it did not look to bad though it had maybe a half a foot to grow before it was down to my ass again.

“You think so Quatre,” I say looking at him and our lips hit since we were so close.

He backs away some blushing, “Yes I think so” I got out of the chair and came toward him.

“Thank you for helping me Quatre,” I back him into the wall.

“Yuki it is you don’t joke around, unless you’re a fraud if you are then I am going to kill you for trying to trick me!” I say leaping to my feet and putting my hands around his neck. I started thrashing him but it did not last long because Quatre’s mate always knew when he was endanger and I got a very hard crack to the back of my head, I black out which was probably the best for everyone.

Heero’s POV

I walk in just in time to see Trowa hitting Duo in the back of the head, and Quatre clasping his throat and gasping for air. “ What is going on here!” I demand to know running over to Duo who was now unconscious on the floor.

“He was throttling Quatre,” Trowa says holding Quatre in his arms and stroking his hair. “It is alright baby I won’t let any one hurt you.” Trowa says kissing his face I think we have all been a little traumatized by everything that has been happing.

“Yes but what is the matter with Duo, he called me Yuki,” Quatre says sounding like there was a cloud in his throat. He was laying in Trowa’s arms and I was holding Duo with his head on my lap.

“That was the boy he killed,” I tell him and both of them nod saying nothing but looking sad. I look down at Duo and he has such a troubled look on his face now that he was not in the world of the waking. “I wish there was some other way to go about stopping Duo,” I tell Trowa. “Cause I don’t think he is going to like being alone with his mind to much right now.” I say caressing his hair and kissing his forehead I hope he would be alright.

“Well that was my first reaction when I saw what he was doing,” Trowa admits “I just can’t stand it if anyone would try and harm Quatre.”


“Well same is said for me Trowa, with Duo.” I say giving him a death glair I really would like to hit Trowa but I know I would have done the same if something was happing to Duo like that.

“Alright guys lets not fight we have a long journey a head of us we need to be cool.” Wufei says joining the circle we have formed Wufei leans over Duo and puts an ice pack over his forehead. He must have found it on there search for food, Duo did feel hot then his forehead frowns as if in a dream.

He starts to twitch, and he moans in his sleep then grips my arm then he let go as if he had died. He was still breathing “Damn Trowa I think you really messed with his head,” I say holding his quivering body close to mine.

“Come on I hit him in the right spot just to knock him out not kill him,” Trowa defends himself again. “I think he has been disturbed way before this Heero, if he is going to try and strangle Quatre thinking he is someone else.” Trowa also points out then we watch as Duo seems to lose control of his body for a moment it rocks violently like there is some kind of inner turmoil going on.

Duo’s POV

As I fall into the arms of darkness, I feel as though I land in someone’s arms I look up to see me. “Hello there beautiful,” only I had black hair and fangs and black shadowy wings.

“Are you my demon,” I wonder to him he nods his head at lest he still had his hair.

“I am Maxwell and am glad to have met you finally the Son Of Death I have been honored to possess you and help you in your human struggles.” He whispers over my lips. “I have loved you for all times,” Then I see another demon come toward me he bows to his knees and takes my hand kissing it.

“I am the Demon Duo,” he looked again some what like me only his eyes where glowing and he had black hair and shadowy like wings.

“If you let us join with you we will become the God Of Death once again. You don’t remember when you were punished and cursed to the human body we were separated. If you join in our Union we can be come strong again and start to feast off of life.” Maxwell says stroking my head I sat up then stood up.

“You killed Yuki didn’t you,” I demand to know pointing my finger at the two demons.

“Yes Master we did but that was only because he would have gotten in the way.” Duo says to me with a bow of his head.


“What makes you think that I would want that, if he is the Son Of life he needs to live you idiots we need balance if not death will not exist nor will life you can’t have one with out the other.” I say putting my hands on my hips glaring down at these shadows.

“Master you have been in the human way for far to long you must join back with us, once you would have enjoyed the kill we did.” Duo says coming toward me I back away wanting to run.

“Well maybe you should think maybe I am punished for a reason, I don’t want to make the same mistakes. Besides I am in love I want to go back to Heero now I don’t want to stay I don’t want to join with you. I am glad you helped me with my life, which I think you have gone against everything you stand for. As you helped me live when I thought you wanted death.” Damn I know I have totally snapped as I was sitting here having a conversation with myself.

“Love yes we know your in love with that super human, which is complicated it seems love always gets in the way. That is why we did not force you to become one with us when you were a child. We took care of you I suppose we still can until your finally ready.” Maxwell also comes toward me I did not want this having demons in your body was not good.

“I don’t think I want you to help me anymore this is not a good thing I must be nuts sitting here having this talk with you.” I say putting my hand to my head this was hurting it.

“Very well but we can’t leave you Master we are part of you but we will be quite for now as you command, we warn you what you will see is not pretty.” Duo tells me then they vanish into black liquid and I fall again. Tell I come again to the same thing I saw in my mind before. Only I saw clearly how I had killed Yuki, I had carved out his face leaving it hallow and chopped off his hair.

I could not believe that is what those demons did those fucking demons, “YOU Fuckers how dare you cause my hand to do such a vial act on something so beautiful!!!” I scream this was all so confusing I know they could hear me but I just could not see them right now. “I am probably going to be in even more trouble now that you killed the son of life!” I think the demons really had it in for me the whole time by doing something so wrong.

Then the picture changes and I am standing before a yawning grave that has hell fire rising from it. I hear a voice deep and dark, “God of Death you will be forever punished to the depths of hell, to rule death from hell!” I feel my self falling I feel fire and warmth on my cheeks. I feel heavy chains clasp my wrists and ankles and one around my neck. I land on what feels like brim stone, also smells that way.

Then I see a blinding light and hear a sweet voice calling to me,” Duo wake up,” I open my eyes and it is blurry in the room, I sit up gasping for breath and feel my wrists and ankles right away. I felt much lighter and I was laying on a bed and Heero was next to me. “Oh Duo I am so glad your awake,” He says hugging me.

Heero’s POV

Duo kept crying out in his fitful sleep, so I finally tried to wake him, his eye lids went dark and. His lips went purple and they were shaking I had to safe him from his hell. “Duo please wake up please,” I say into his forehead and kiss him over and over tell finally he gasps and sits up.

Duo’s POV

Well we helped Duo fight his demons and finally we did come back to earth and Quatre made a new safe house and we all went under cover. We did not want to fight in wars anymore but be in peace.

I believe ever since I met Duo and lived in Chaos My Aim has been true with the one I love. I will always love Duo no matter what if I have to fight again for his love then I will. I will never leave Duo loveless I know he will never leave me and its good not to feel alone anymore.
