Retorn To Base
Hello, all. Sorry for the wait. --Falcon
Chapter Six: Return To Base
Hawk sat cross-legged on a red seat in a small round pod, which happened to be Raddi's spacepod. The Earth-jin was thinking about her new "friend." At the moment, the Saiyan girl was off somewhere mass-murdering Planet Tarach's inhabitants, giving Hawk some time alone to absorb her chaotic situation. In just two days, she had gone from being enslaved on a strange planet to hiding in a pod belonging to a minion of the one who eradicated her species; it was a lot to take in.
First of all, the girl was Saiyan. She hadn't known there were any besides Vegeta and Kakarrot. Even more confusingly, she seemed to be carrying out a purging mission in the name of Frieza, despite the fact that the tyrant had been dead for years. At least she seemed to consider Hawk an ally; the Saiyan's power was relatively high, and Hawk's own magic was nearly useless in combat.
'I guess I'll be returning with her,' Hawk thought. 'She's my best chance of returning home, and I probably don't have a choice anyway.'

Raddi returned to her spacepod some hours later, having finished her assignment. The cities, towns, and houses of Tarach all stood empty, although Raddi pretended not to notice several colony-style transports leaving the spaceport—which she had deliberately avoided damaging. It was something she always did if she could; call her sentimental, but she didn't want to make another race suffer the same fate as her own. Nobody could know she did this, of course, but to her it seemed that each colony that survived a purge was a slap in that bastard Frieza's face.
She shook her head, bringing her focus back to the round little pod below. She dropped, landing almost silently, and approached the thinking Earth-jin. "Ready to leave?" she asked, the question coming out sounding more like a demand. Hawk jumped, startled.
"I wish you wouldn't do that," she muttered, getting up from the ground and dusting herself off. Raddi ignored the comment, instead opting to hop onto the seat of her spacepod and turn on the computer, typing in the coordinates for Dunlaht-sei.
"Come on."
Hawk obeyed, squishing onto the red seat next to Raddi. It wasn't too tight a fit since they both had relatively slender builds. Raddi closed the hatch, and the pod took off into space.
"Where are we going?" asked Hawk once they got going.
"Planet Frieza 246," Raddi replied shortly as she flipped a couple switches on the control panel, making sure the destination was set correctly. "Then… Earth." With those two words, Raddi pushed a large blue key and the hibernation function kicked in, knocking out both girls until their arrival at Raddi's home base.
Hi, little author's note here. I'd like to ask that if you read my story, and like it, say so. If you don't like it, I'd love to know how it could be improved. Is anyone reading my story? R&R would be nice... Thank you.
