Kakarot sighed as he stood from his seat in the tiny hovel. He was getting really tired of drinking tea. He was headed toward the exit when his gaze fixated on one spot outside a window and saw a shadow out of the corner of his eye. He thought he saw more than one, but wasn’t too sure. He decided not to take the obvious exit out in case it was an ambush, then sat down in a different spot when he decided the back door would probably be too dangerous as well. He watched someone else exit the front and noticed that nothing happened. They must be watching him. He got up and headed for the back door to avoid unwanted attention from bystanders. As soon as he stepped out, he unsheathed his sword and waited for an attack, but nothing happened. He looked around cautiously before heading up to the roof. There was no ambush.
Perhaps this wasn’t the place for an ambush, so he decided to lead his enemies elsewhere. Kakarot hopped from roof to roof until he reached the bridge and waited. His breathing sped up when no movement was heard and no person was to be seen. He got a hold of himself as he thought maybe this was all a misunderstanding. He wasn’t actually certain that he saw the shadow of his enemies, it could’ve been a cat for all he knew. He rested his stance and shook his head at himself before swiftly putting his blade back in it’s sheath.
As soon as his blade was in its place, another was against his throat and a harsh voice whispered from behind him. “Unsheathe your sword and you’ll be dead before you hit the ground.”
Kakarot froze from the voice and raised his hands up a little. “I should’ve known.” He muttered to himself as the blade got closer, cutting his neck slightly. “Why not kill me now?”
“Because I want answers.” The voice never wavered in answering as the attackers’ hand shook a little with rage. “Who are you after? And don’t lie to me. Your life is in my hands.”
Confusion replaced Kakarot’s off-guard expression as he pondered what his attacker was talking about. “I’m not after anyone.” He yelped as the attacker kneed him in the back, bringing him to his knees.
“I said don’t lie to me!” The blade was placed next to the samurai’s neck as he waited for a new response.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about!” He shouted finally as he willed the pain away in his back.
The attacker got impatient then and moved around in front of the samurai to get a better look at him. Kakarot looked up at his attacker and froze. “Vegeta?”
Vegeta took his mask off and let it hang loosely around his neck as he kept his sword pointed at the fallen warrior. “You have yet to answer my question. Who are you after?”
“I’m not after anyone!” Kakarot became panicked as he realized his new rival wasn’t kidding around.
Vegeta looked into the samurai’s eyes to see the truth he claimed and noticed that they were the same as the last time he looked into them. Innocent and desperate. He suddenly took in his surroundings. His colleagues won’t leave him alone for long. “Get up.” Kakarot got up slowly. “Now move, come on.” He lightly pushed the samurai towards one side of the bridge as he kept a watchful eye on his surroundings. “Did you have to pick an open area?” Kakarot didn’t answer as Vegeta kept his sword pointed at him and made their way toward a more secluded area.
Once there, Vegeta relaxed his position, but kept the sword aimed at the warrior. “What’s this all about, Vegeta?”
Vegeta ignored his question as he asked some of his own. “Alright samurai. You better start giving me answers if you want to live. Now, why are you in Edo?”
Kakarot gave him a confused look before answering. “I told you. To get away from my enemies, but instead of moving on like I should’ve, I got you involved with them.”
Vegeta looked into his eyes as he answered, then quickly averted them as he searched around himself. “Well, now you’ve got yourself involved in something else.”
“What do you mean? Vegeta, what’s going on?”
“Shut up!” He crouched low as he ordered Kakarot to do the same thing when he heard a small rustle near them. They waited a moment once the area was quiet again, then Vegeta proceeded to answer his question in a whispered tone. “New orders from my Master. You’re our new target.”
“Oh, great.” Kakarot groaned. “Just what I need.”
“Listen,” Vegeta put down his sword, “you must tell me everything. My conscience has to have a good reason for not completing my mission.” He looked behind him when he thought he heard a splash in the stream.
“I’ve told you everything. People are after me and I’m on the run. What more do you want?”
Vegeta looked him in the eye. “Proof.”
“Proof? There is no proof.” Kakarot answered desperately.
“Then answer me this. I heard you’ve killed nobles. Is that true?” Vegeta asked seriously.
Kakarot looked horrified for a moment before bowing his head. “Probably.”
Vegeta grasped the samurai’s shirt and hauled him up toward his face. “That’s not good enough!” He whispered harshly. “You either killed them or you didn’t!”
“I don’t know! I’ve only killed the ones who were after me! Some of them were probably nobles, but I didn’t know! I swear I didn’t!” Kakarot was almost in tears as Vegeta studied his eyes for a moment, then let him go.
His eyes averted the samurai’s before going back to look around the area. “You’re lucky your eyes give everything away. They’re filled with despair, but still have enough life in them to let you live.” He put his sword away. “By the way, I’ve heard you’ve had multiple run ins with the Doumei clan in Kyoto. They’re one of our most trusted allies. What’s your business with them?” He looked into the samurai’s eyes again.
Kakarot hesitated. “Well, I’ve had run ins with many clans.” Vegeta’s eyes narrowed as the samurai’s looked like they were holding something back.
Suddenly, an ambush rained from above as four assassins clothed in black and red and white on their shoulders attacked the two unsuspecting men. Vegeta was slashed across the chest before he pulled out both of his swords and blocked another attack, then rolled away from his position to get a good distance away from his two attackers. Kakarot quickly pulled out his sword to block two attacks from both of his opponents, then retrieved back to stand beside Vegeta. “Do you believe me now?”
Vegeta didn’t answer as he studied the colors of the assassins clothing. “That’s odd. They’re attire symbolizes the same colors as the Doumei clan’s.” His gaze flickered towards Kakarot. “Have all of your enemies worn the same attire?” He noted the familiar color of Kakarot’s attire as well, but said nothing.
Kakarot did a once-over on the attires as well. “Yes.”
Vegeta concentrated on his two opponents. “Then this should be their problem. Not ours.” Their conversation ended when one of the assassins clashed swords with Vegeta and the two that were in front of Kakarot attacked as well. “Wait!” Vegeta pushed against his swords as he tried speaking with his allies’ assassins. “I am Vegeta no Hokoru. Your ally. Whatever business you have with this samurai, only your clan must be involved. Not others.” The weight on his swords was suddenly gone as one of them slashed his shoulder, causing him to drop one of his swords, then zipped around his back to cut off his air supply with their arm. Vegeta dropped his other sword to ease the arm off around his neck.
“Vegeta!” Kakarot shouted while trying to fend off his attackers so he could help the noble.
“Well, this causes a problem, doesn’t it?” Vegeta’s attacker whispered.
Vegeta’s strength started to leave him as his vision darkened. The assassin chuckled, then released him as he fell to the ground face first and unconscious. “Vegeta!” Kakarot hacked off one of his attackers’ arms and slashed the second one across the midsection. He quickly dodged between both of them before too much blood was soaked into his clothing and headed for the noble’s unconscious form to see if he was still breathing. It was steady. Rage consumed the samurai as he charged the other two assassins. They dodged some of his attacks, but were caught off guard when they thought he would recuperate after a couple of his attacks and got a limb cut off.
Kakarot regained his breathing before putting his blood-soaked sword away and hurried over to the unconscious noble. He turned him over to check his wounds, then picked up the noble and his swords and took him to the place he’s been staying at for the last few nights.

Vegeta awoke to a dark place and fire light beside him. He turned his head towards the light and noticed the samurai was sitting on the other side of the flames. Kakarot was cleaning off his sword when he heard a moan come from the other side of the fire. “Vegeta, you’re awake.” He laid his sword down and crawled over to the noble’s side. “How are you feeling?” When he didn’t get a response, he handed him a cup filled with water.
Vegeta immediately sat up and took the water, downing it in two gulps before asking for more. Kakarot handed him another cup and said he’ll have to get more. Vegeta downed the next one before looking around himself. “Where are we?”
Kakarot leaned back as he prepared to stand to get more water. “A house that had been abandoned. I’ll be right back.”
Vegeta sat on his elbows for a moment before laying back down. He lifted his head slightly to look at his wounds. He had bandages across his chest and shoulder, then gingerly touched them to see how bad the damage was. They stung, but he’s had worse. Kakarot returned with two more cups of cool water and Vegeta downed them in seconds. “More?” He asked as Vegeta shook his head. He sat back down next to him.
“I don’t understand. How come their after you? You must’ve done something for them to chase you across the country.” Vegeta closed his eyes as he thought of the evening’s events.
Kakarot stared at the fire. “I can’t say.” He said it in a way that made it sound like he had no clue, but in truth, he did.
Vegeta opened his eyes and sat up. “You’re not telling me something. What is it?” His gaze flickered to Kakarot’s bare chest, just now noticing his topless torso as his gaze went back to the samurai’s face.
Kakarot frowned. “I can’t tell you.”
Vegeta looked around for his blades and grabbed one of them, once again, holding it up to the samurai’s throat. “Tell me.”
Kakarot gave him an intensive stare and grabbed his wrist. “It would only cause more problems…the more people that know…” He trailed off in thought.
Vegeta growled and shoved him backwards; straddling the samurai’s waist. “You will tell me! You got me involved, now I have the right to know!” He forced his sword back towards the samurai’s throat, but Kakarot was too strong as the sword was taken out of his hand and thrown to the side.
Vegeta watched it fly, then punched him in the face. Kakarot caught his wrist after the hit, then caught the other one before it hit his stomach. He rolled them over so Kakarot was on top and tried to pin Vegeta down to get a better hold of him. However, Vegeta quickly sat up and hit his head against Kakarot’s as the samurai was, once again, knocked backwards. Vegeta tried to reach for the sword that was flung aside, but was gripped around the waist and was pulled back to Kakarot’s chest. He held onto him as Vegeta tried loosening his grip, but instead, brought his head back to hit Kakarot in the head again. It didn’t hurt him as much as the last hit, but it was enough for Vegeta to loosen his grip. He tried aiming for the sword again, but his leg was caught in Kakarot’s grip as he was pulled towards him. He flipped himself over and tried kicking the samurai with his other leg, but was unable to as that leg was caught between Kakarot’s arm and torso. Kakarot moved on top of him to get a good hold on him, then Vegeta flipped them over.
Vegeta tried his hand at pinning the samurai to the floor, only to kiss heatedly down his neck as Kakarot panted beneath him. With Vegeta distracted, Kakarot rolled them over again, only this time, Vegeta didn’t fight back as Kakarot got a better hold on him and kissed him passionately. They moaned together as the fight in them quickly dissipated into lust. Kakarot held Vegeta for awhile as they kissed in fire light. He then proceeded to tear off some of the bandages covering Vegeta’s toned chest, kissing his way down. Vegeta gave into the feeling of smooth lips on his skin as he gripped wild locks. Then, once again, flipped them over as Vegeta wanted his chance to taste those muscles on the other’s chest. Kakarot let him explore as he closed his eyes at the feeling of the heated tongue tracing his battle scars.
Once Kakarot’s chest was worshipped, Vegeta met with his mouth again as his hands ventured down the other’s stomach and hips. Kakarot sighed in bliss as he rolled them over again towards the fire. He slipped off Vegeta’s pants and his own as their lips met again. Kakarot gently eased himself in the virgin noble’s entrance as Vegeta moaned at being filled for the first time and clenched around the intrusion. Kakarot didn’t move at the reaction and calmly kissed the excited noble as he waited for him to get comfortable.
A few breaths later, Vegeta relaxed around the samurai’s member and gave into the gentle thrusting motions. Kakarot pinned one of Vegeta’s hands to the ground as he held the noble’s head in place so they could look at each other in their passion. Both of their eyes were half-lidded as they sought the pleasure they were searching for. Then, Vegeta gasped and arched into his lover as a burst of ecstasy went up his spine and into his own swollen member. Kakarot smiled softly at the reaction, then leaned his head down towards the noble’s neck to kiss the skin that was there as his thrusts became faster. Vegeta’s moans of passion became louder as the pleasure became more frequent.
Vegeta shook with his pleasure, the feeling alone being foreign to him as he experimented with it. He gradually started to move his hips along with Kakarot’s, only to find out it builds the pressure in his member. He cried out strangely at the feeling, but continued with the motion until the pressure was released. It felt so good, Vegeta thought he’d cry. A few seconds after his climax did Kakarot follow; roaring his cries of pleasure to the ceiling above.
The two warriors panted as their orgasmic high came back down. As soon as they recuperated, neither moved as it became apparent of what they’ve done. Vegeta didn’t know what happened. One minute, he wanted to kill the samurai. The next, he was burning up in a fiery passion; waiting for the embers of lust to burn him as his aggression burned along with him. Kakarot looked to be just as confused as he was. Just what caused this spark?
They both looked down at themselves as if their appearance would prove otherwise. Blood was smeared on Kakarot and Vegeta’s chest, the bandages on Vegeta were torn, and some sort of warm substance was sprayed between them. Vegeta still didn’t know what to make of the situation as he gave Kakarot a confused, but pleased expression. However, a dawning look came over Kakarot as an apologetic expression quickly took place. He looked Vegeta in the eyes, then slowly eased out of him. Vegeta moaned at the empty feeling yet the feel of being filled.
They both stared at each other, neither moving as the night dragged on in silence.

It just happened. O.o Actually, I planned this. X) I wanted to build up their relationship and the events in the story. Screw lubrication, hehe. I wanted it to be confusing and hot, not messy and…awkward hehe…like my other lemons. >< It couldn’t have come at a worse time, no? There are still questions unanswered…and Vegeta’s getting married! O.o
