Chapter 8: Paragus playing dirty


Since the day on the lake, Sheera has been avoided to look at Vegeta. Due that they never had an eye contact like they had that day; this was getting their friendship apart. He started to get concerned, did he do something wrong? It was something what he said? Whatever it was, he has to know it. he though at the possibility.

They were in the training chambers, getting his best even knowing that somehow, she wasn’t giving hers. She was stronger than him, no doubt of that, but why she doesn’t show it? His thoughts were interrupted by Nappa, who came into the chamber running desperately. “Vegeta! We have trouble with the bushers! They don’t want to sell us the energy for the spaceships, and you were commanded to say what the strategy is.” Nappa had to act in front of the woman like Vegeta was a captain of the army, not the king. He was quite good at it though. “Then we have no other choice but get ready the group to get the planet. After all, is the planet that produces the energy, right? Sheera, I’ll comeback as soon as this is settle, I doubt that a couple of hours can get you in trouble.” She understood what it means, so she goes back to the ground, while Vegeta was guiding her back to her cage. She already knew where everything in the dungeons was, but as a prisoner, she has to do anything with her guardian. “I’ll call Fasha to guard her...\" “That won’t be necessary Nappa. I’ll set the team who will go and that’s it. Is not necessary my assistance this time.” Then both leaved the woman alone in the cage.

Mere minutes passed and then a shadow started to get close to the woman’s cage. “Vegeta, don’t try to hide because I already---Paragus?” then the shadow came out and it was him…Paragus. “Hi, long time not seen. How’s stuff in prison?” he asked in a mocking tone. “Vegeta is not here. He’ll get mad if he sees you here.” She warned, but it looked like it didn’t matter him very much. “Come on. Don’t tell me that a strong fighter like you can’t get rid of someone like Vegeta. Don’t try to hide it, but I can see that your power surpasses anyone of this planet, even the king’s.” “Maybe yes, or maybe not, but think about your stupid conclusion for a moment; a saiyan female stronger than the rest of the planet, equal to trouble and I had enough here. So no matter what you said, they don’t believe in you.” Then Paragus acted like he was hurt. “What. Did you think that I was going to betray you? Where’s your trust? I’ve never betray a friend of mine. I’ve been sincere all the time, you know It.” she looks at him suspicious, but he was right.

“And the reason of your being here while Vegeta is not here?” she asks with curiosity. “Well, I was thinking that you wanted to see my lab. As an intelligent woman like you, I would like to know what you know about genetics. To be sincere, I’m quite new in the area and seeing your true knowledge, you can help me with some theories. Interested?” she looks at him with amazement, a genetic lab. But leaving with him and with Vegeta out right now? It didn’t sounded right; it was tempting but not right. “It can’t be done until Vegeta…” “Until what, Vegeta gets back? He is an eternal primal male in heat; he thinks that my interest of sharing scientific theories with you and talking to you is for the reason to flirt with you. Come on, I have a beautiful mate, Xen. Maybe she is not a strong one, but she is quite smart in war tactics so there is no way for me being interested in you. Vegeta knows that for Kami’s sake.”

“If Vegeta knows that, why he was worried?” “Like I said girl, he is an eternal primal male in heat. You just had to notice it, after that night in the cave…” “What are you talking about?” she cut him off, but he could know about the cave thing? Did someone saw them? If it happened, then why he king didn’t punished Vegeta yet? Why Vegeta didn’t tell her about it? This was strange. “The issue that you and Vegeta slept in a cave together not long ago is the latest gossip between the guards, but no one had told it to the high positions because we all admire Vegeta.” She looked amazed and understood it.

“In that case Paragus, I don’t think that going with you to the lab is gong to be a problem since you are part of the people who are helping him with this. Let’s go.” Then she opened the door of her cage went out. She took a piece of paper and writes some stuff on it, leaved it on a corner and left with Paragus.

A couple hours passed and Vegeta came back to the prison. “How strange, the bushers say that they never received the order of more energy supply. So it means that they never denied it.” His thoughts continued until he sees Sheera’s cage empty. “I told her to stay here and wait, she can’t restrain herself sometimes. Now, where she can be now?” Then he saw the note started to read it. ~~Vegeta: Paragus invited me to his lab to see his investigations in genetics. Hope that doesn’t mind you. Coming back soon, Sheera~~ “Damn it! And what the hell was Paragus doing here of all places. I bet that he was the responsible of the misunderstanding, if he tries to do something with her…I’ll kill them both!” He screams while he storms out of the window, with his eyes turning white.

Mean while in Paragus’ laboratory…

“I can see Paragus that you invest most of your time here.” Comments the woman while having a tour in the place. “I know, but Xen never complains about it. She says that as long as I get back home the end of the day complete and with no tentacles or something like it, is ok with her.” He laughs at his own comment. Sheera is watching the lab while Paragus is looking at her with an evil smirk. She continues watching until she sees something familiar to her. “Paragus, are you into cloning or something?” then he looks where she is looking at.

“Oh, this? No, I’m trying fertilization in vitro. Xen can’t have babies and I’m trying to make the process to make it possible.” “Yes I see, but I don’t see the feminine chromosomes. According to this DNA map, you’re only studying yours.” “Y-yes is because I didn’t talk to her about this possibility yet. And I want to be more informed about the theories before try it and something happens. I don’t want to hurt her, you know.” “True, show me all that you had tried and all, and let’s see what ca I do…”

Back in Xen and Paragus’ place…

“Xen, are you in? Xen…is me…Fasha. Xen?” Fasha is been knocking the door for almost five minutes, and decides to enter; patience is not in saiyans genetic. And then she senses it, the heavy and recognized scent of sex is filing the air.

She continues walking until he entered where she thinks is their bedroom. She gets close to the door to listen any activity. but then she heard something, it was a female voice and was...crying? Fasha decided to enter and see what was going on, when she saw the awful scene. Xen was naked in the bed, her wrists tied to the headboard. Her body was uncovered and she was shaking by the cold and of shock. Fasha could see the marks in all her body, purple spots in some parts, even in her face. It was worst seeing some marks that looked like burn marks. She had the stomach to looks down to see what was between her legs, here was dry blood, not stains but enough amount of in dried in the bed sheets. Finally Fasha concentrated her eyes to her friends’ face, which eyes were red for much crying.

With a movement, she set free her friend from the tides and sits her, looking for a way to help her. “It my fault…is all my fault.” Whispered Xen over and over, while Fasha was looking for some water and bring it to her. By the looks of Xen, she hadn’t see water in any way for days. “Xen, what happened? Did Paragus’ do this? It was someone else? Tell me so I can help you…” “It’s my fault…for not giving him children.”

“Xen, I don’t get it. You are a strong woman, how something like this can take you down?” Fasha asked her, almost turning into tears by the situation that she was witness.
“Paragus said that it was my fault that I’m only useful to mate, nothing else…”and she fainted. “Xen! Oh no, I have to take you to the infirmary now.” Then Fasha activates the scooter. “Nair, can you hear me? Nair!” “Yes, Fasha what do you want.” Responded on the other line saiyan male. “Stop with that tone with me ok, I need help. Come to Paragus house now, Xen is injured. I repeat, Xen is injured.” “I got it; I’m sending two of my men over there.” “And one more thing, activate the search to find that son of a bitch called Paragus. Search under every rock of the planet if is necessary.”

Meanwhile back in Paragus’ laboratory…

“According to you diary, you tried to increase the strength of you chromosomes, but it can’t be since your blood line is quite weak. If you continue with this and use it to produce a child, it may no last more than six months in your mates’ stomach.” “I see...” Responded Paragus, while watching the woman’s curves again. “I suggest you to check your woman’s DNA and see that if the problem is she, then search for someone who can donate her egg. Did you make your sperm count? Paragus, Paragus are you listening?” the he woke up from the dream that he was having with Sheera’s creamy legs to look up to her.

“You know, talking about donations, would you like to be that donator?” he asked with an evil smirk. “No, I’m better with the theory, but I’m not part of science procedures. And absolutely not part of surgery.” Then Paragus stepped forward, almost pinning the woman against of a refrigerator. “But who talked about surgery, you can be the donator, and HOLD the experiment in your belly.” His whisper made the woman look at him completely puzzled and move it to a side so she could escape for moments from his prison.

The king was watching the whole situation from a hidden place in the laboratory, and seeing Paragus’ approaches to the woman made his blood starting to burn. then he saw the woman step back giving her back to Paragus. “Paragus, Paragus is late. I should get back to my prison, Vegeta…” “Vegeta what, will be mad at you? You’re really concerned about what he will think of you don’t you.” “Paragus, I see in your aura that this was not the only reason that you want me come here. I must leave before you think that I…” and then, Paragus throws something where Vegeta is close by, smashing some crystal objects. “Why, why always have to come someone to take away what I desire?! I’m always the weak one, while the most powerful get what they desire! You, the most wonderful representative of our species is going to be a whore to the king! I can’t take it, you may be powerful, but you don’t leave here until I fuck you up!” and then he attacks her. She stops his pounces and pushes him to the other wall. “Paragus, don’t continue. I don’t need this shit, if the king finds out that I’m here, Vegeta…”

“You are a genius in some things, but naïve in personal relationships Sheera. But don’t worry, I show you right now.” And while he is attacking her, the scratch her with something that looked like an arrow. “W-What is this?” she asks, while feeling a little dizzy. “This is a tranquilizer that I’ve been working lately. In mere minutes you will be sleeping while I make my dream come true (laughs).” Sheera is still feeling dizzy, but she can hold a fight yet, still in her fighting position, she is seeing with blurry vision Paragus charging to attack her, when she sees a dark figure standing in front of her, then she faints.

“What do you think you are doing, huh? I thought that you understood that I don’t want you close to her ever, Paragus.” “I can’t help it, sire. She wanted it, and who would deny a petition from a beauty like her?” “Liar, ::hits him and lands into a wall:: I saw you two from there! You are the one who was trying to seduce her!” And the king hits him again, making some of Paragus teeth fly away. He stands up with difficulty and wipes some of his blood from his mouth. “And what do you want me to do, huh? Let the king have always what he wants?! You can have all he fucking females of the whole planet! Why her, why did you have to enjoy her first than me! Brains are better than muscles!”

“You don’t know well your king Paragus. Whatever I’m going to do with her is only my business, and I’m not only muscles. I also have a brain, quite smart if you ask.” Then he leaves the scientist and picks up the woman, who is sound sleep. “If you are not going to use her, why she doesn’t know your true identity yet!” the king turns around to face him, with Sheera in his arms. “My personal reasons are not your concern, Paragus.”

Then Vegeta exits from a high window in time, because in that moment Fasha enters into the lab with some of Bardock’s team partners. “Paragus, you are under arrest for violence against your mate. For taking advantage of her situation and for negligence.” The soldiers didn’t have a hard time taking him down, since he was a low class-soldier and that he was already beaten up. “Where is Xen.” Asked he man, with not emotion. “She is fine right now, away from you. Your bond will cause in her much pain, but anything is better than be with someone like you. And what happened to you? Who did this to you?” “Let’s say that I wanted to play dirty for once, but was discovered too soon.” He answered with an evil smirk. “You are the kind who thinks that mates are only to get birth children, I’ll make sure that Xen sees that in you.”

“She’ll release me as soon as we talk, Fasha. You are actually loosing your energy and time.” “We’ll see about that. Take him away from me now.” And Paragus is sent to a prison, waiting to be released.

In Sheera’s prison…

Sheera wakes up to se herself in her cage, and Vegeta watching her, sits and look at him with a confused state. “What I am doing here.” It sounded more a comment than a question. “Well, it was our punishment for attacking Bardock and…” “Stop the shit Vegeta, you know what I mean. I was in Paragus’ lab when he attacked me, and then I felt dizzy for the poison that he gave me. Then I saw a dark image and…I only remember oddly things.” he chuckled and stood up, sitting beside her, only the metal bars separating them. “This would never happen if you didn’t go with him to see his lab, unless…” “Unless what Vegeta.” “I don’t know, maybe you had something in mind with him, and seeing him responding your advances, you got nervous and everything became shit.” “Are you again with that shit Vegeta?! How many times I have to tell you that I’ll never going to see Paragus as a potential partner.” “Then I don’t see any explanation that you couldn’t wait until I went back.” His evil smile came, while she was looking annoyed at him. Just making her mad was something that he loved to see.

Then she grabs him by the neck of the armor and smashes him against the bars. “One, I go with him because he said that he needed my help in his lab, I also left a note to you. Second, I though that it was the best to since he knows about the cave thing. Third, I could handle the situation perfectly by myself.”

“Yeah, sure.”

“How much time I’ve been in this effect?”

“6 minutes and 12 seconds to be exact.”

“You see? I could handle it by myself.”

“In less than 3 he could fuck you like 12 times.”

She stood silent for a moment, release him and sit back. “And what does the king though about it?” then he blinked at this. “Huh, what do you mean?” “I heard Paragus talking to someone, referring him as the king. I think it was the same dark image. It was him?” Vegeta stood blank at her, he didn’t know what to do, and maybe it was time to tell her the truth. Then he woke up by Sheera’s voice. “Vegeta, did you got in any trouble because of me? Vegeta, Vegeta are you hearing me?” “No, is not that, is just that I’m impressed that you survived to that poison, and even maintain conscious most of the time. And no, I don’t get in any trouble, the king understood that it wasn’t my fault, that it was Paragus who did all this.”

“And what will happen to him?” “He’s in prison right now.” She stood in silent for a moment, like thinking about something, and he looked at her a little concerned. “Is something the matter?” “I was just thinking of the king. Something is kind of strange.” “What are you talking about?” “About how the king knew that we were there.” He stood, there, thinking what to answer. “Is a mystery that you should ask him when you meet him.” He dimply concluded.

“Like I’m going to talk to him when the time comes. He is not my type you know.” “Why you think such a thing?” “For the things that I remember that I listened there, I can’t stand him. The classic I’m-the-king attitude, and I don’t stand kings.” “And that surprises you? I told you that he was a king, his position makes him more powerful than others.” “Is not about that.” “Then what do you mean?” She stands up and looks at him quite tired, looking like she was about to explode. Now he was worried.

“Vegeta, you know me for more than two years and you still don’t know me well. I don’t want to be a queen; I don’t want to be part of royalty. I don’t want (Sights), to be part of a harem. Vegeta, I’m a WARRIOR, not the classic girl that dreams about the charming prince and waits to be rescued from the tower. I fight myself to get out of the tower. I’m not feminine at all; I’m almost one of the guys. Can you tell me what the fuck he saw in me?!” Vegeta looks at her in amazement, it was true. Two years sleeping in this prison, seeing her everyday, talking to her and even sharing stories. But he never asked about her desires, about what she wanted. About if she was willing to mate with someone that she ‘didn’t know’.

He sits back, like giving up, this make Sheera now look at him with some concern. He looks at her, and finally speaks to her being completely sincere. “Is true, no one asked you about if you agreed to be his mate. To tell the truth, this was the only excuse of the king to get you, you liked him at the moment that he saw you the day that you were arrested. The only way to get you without giving you privileges, was taking you to prison, but I never though this would last three years.” “He’s…an asshole. So coward that he even see me face-to-face yet.” She responded, clenching her fist. “And you know what the conclusion is? That I prefer see you free and gone than being with someone that you don’t like, that you don’t desire.” And then he stands up and opens the cage. “Maybe the saiyan race is not prepared for you; you’re the most arrogant, selfish, prideful woman that I ever meet. I hope that the one that you choose can see all that.” And he gives her a soldier plaque.

“You must leave while the commotion is out there about the arrest of Paragus. Take a spaceship and leave this planet, I’ll take care about what to say to the others.” Then she looks at the plaque and handles back to him.

“And what makes you think that I’m going to do it?”

“This is not a challenge Sheera, is an order.”

“And what makes you think that I’m going to obey it?”

“This is not the time to be stubborn.”

“And is not the time either for you to start giving me orders.”

“Sheera, stop it. leave, now!”

“Why did you just say that you don’t want me here and you desire me to leave? Is easier to say than the speech that you already gave to me.”

“What makes you think that I don’t want you here?! I’ve been here for almost three years seeing your pathetic face everyday!”

“Because of me you didn’t have the time to make normal saiyan things, just having the same fucking routine with me day by day! Or are you going to lie and tell me that you enjoyed every minute of it.”

though back Vegeta, knowing that she wasn’t listening him.

“Vegeta, I’m staying. (She enters in the prison and closes it.) I’m going to finish these three years, meet the king, kick his ass for being such asshole and coward, and then I’ll leave the planet so you don’t have to see me anymore. So live it a little longer, and no one gives me orders Vegeta. I won’t kneel at any one, no king or god would make me beg, and that’s for sure. Goodnight.”
