Duo sat patiently on the counter as he watched his best friends slowly lower their eighth empty cup from their mouths. He would have to restock the blood soon, but it looked like they were done for now. Duo sighed as he thought about going to the blood bank again. He really just wanted to pierce his little blonde’s neck. He would never have to deal with the blood banks again.
“Much better. When do we get to meet your little mate?” Heero asked as he walked to the sink and stared at the faucet.
“He’s not my mate.” Duo corrected as he turned the water on. “Not yet anyway. I sent him home with ‘Fei, who ran from the house like you two were chasing him. I wasn’t sure how hungry you would be so I didn’t want to take the risk of you munching on my little one.” Heero snickered.
“You know we have more control than that, besides, shouldn’t you be the one ‘munching on him’?” Duo smiled as he washed both the Vampires cups.
“I told you what he said. I’ll mate with him, but we have to wait. He’s…tied to his mortal life. He has to let go of it first.”
“I didn’t expect you to be so diplomatic about your mate.” Trowa commented.
“I want to bite him on his terms. He’s not ready, so I’ll wait. He’s suppose to come over after classes tomorrow, so you’ll just have to wait till then.”

“Kitty Quat!” The blonde immediately braced for impact.
Duo use to just pounce on him without any form of warning. It sort of felt like getting hit with a baseball bat, but Duo had learned very quickly how much he could hurt the little blonde if he wasn’t careful with him. Quatre let out a startled squeak as he felt himself be plucked off his feet and tossed over the Vampire’s shoulder like a sack of potato’s.
“Hey ‘Fei-’Fei. You comin over tonight? Both Heero and Trowa have fed, they wanna meet you.” Wufei stood silently for a few moments.
Did he want to see the other Vampires? That fear he had felt when he first saw them wake was still there. Maxwell was the only Vampire he knew as a non-threat. It was rational to fear predators…but…they were so…gorgeous. Wufei was sure that was how they would lure prey. They didn’t need to use mind games on anyone, they would just use their looks. Just thinking of their bodies made a shiver race through him.
“Maybe-” Wufei had to clear his throat before he continued. “Maybe next weekend. I have to work tomorrow. Have fun Quatre.” The blonde waved from his position as Duo nodded.
“I’ll let them know. See ya later ‘Fei-’Fei.” Wufei let out a soft sigh as Duo nearly disappeared with his speed. Only after he was sure the braided boy was gone did he admit to himself that he really did want to see the other two Vampires. More than he probably should have.
