A/N: Finally to the end. I hope that you have decided to stay around until the end. I also hope that you have enjoyed this little (not so little?) story of mine.

The beginning is the last of the story and then the rest is kind of the epilogue.

If you are feeling kind, please let me know what you thought. Criticism is always welcome.

Happy Reading

:

“Are you alright?” Wufei asked with concern barely hidden in his voice with anger and fear in his eyes when she had calmed down and took a drink of the water out of the bottle she had also grabbed out of the refrigerator.

She waved away his concern. “I'm fine. I just was not expecting Duo to say what he did.” She could see that he was still upset, so she placed her hand on his cheek and pulled him between her legs while she still set in her chair. She wrapped her arms around his waist and nuzzled into his chest as he draped his arms over her shoulders.

“Don't blame Duo. He did not mean anything by it and I'm fine.” She moved her hand under his shirt and made random patterns along his skin as he tighten his hold on her.

“I'll kill that idiot someday.” He growled out as he nails clawed down his spin lightly. He could tell she was trying to calm him and to move his nerves to focus on her and his desire instead. This was conformed when she moved to sit on the table to put them more face-to-face, him now being only a few inches taller then her, and pulling him back between her legs and nibbling his ear before she spoke.

“Just remember that you'll have to cleanup the mess after.”

Wufei chuckled as he held her closer. “Maybe he can live a little longer.” He leaned back so that he could look at her. She smiled softly and Wufei felt the side of his mouth turn up in response. “Come home with me.”

Noin shook her head. “I don't know if That's a good idea. Duo might need me since Milliardo is not here.”

He leaned in to nuzzle behind her ear. “He's a big boy, one night wont hurt.” Wufei smiled when she tilted her head to give him better access. “We wont have another chance for a sleepover until Friday.”

She sighed at the thought of waiting almost a week before she could sleep in his arms or wake up in the middle of the night to wake him with desire. Needless to say, the thought was a bit depressing. Then Noin remembered that she had tonight.

“Le me pack a bag and talk to Duo first.” She pushed him away enough to look at him. “Give me a half hour, I'm sure it will take almost that long to talk to Duo.”

Wufei nodded, kissed her forehead and then stepped back. “I was needing to make a stop on the way home, I can do that while you have your talk.”

Noin smiled as she watched him leave. She then quickly cleaned up hers and Duo's dirty dishes before moving upstairs to pack her overnight bag. After she had all she figured she would need, she moved to Duo and Milliardo's door and knocked.

When Duo finally answered after her sixth knock, she found him wrapped up in a comforter with only half his face showing. She sighed.

“Can I come in? Or would you like to go somewhere else? Either way, we are going to talk.”

Duo sighed as he turned towards the bed. “How is it you ran from talking to Fei, yet you become all demanding and soldier Noin to make me talk?”

“Because you really want to know something that I plan to tell you.”

“Really?” Duo perked up. By now he was sitting in the middle of his bed, cocooned in his comforter, but at this news, he let the blanket go until it fell around his waist to reveal that he was still wearing Milliardo's white dress shirt that he had been wearing when downstairs. Luckily, even though it came almost to his knees, she could tell that he was wearing dark shorts underneath.

Yes, but first I want to let you know that I'm not upset with you and that I;m sure Wufei will forget it even happened soon enough. He should not have acted so.” She sat on the bed beside him and placed a hand on his knee and smiled when he placed one on hers. “Don't let what he said bother you, you know how he can be.”

Duo's smile brightened. “So, where is Mr. Sunshine any way?”

Noin shook her head. She knew it would not take long before he would want more information on their relationship. “He had some errands to run.”

He frowned. “So he left without saying goodbye?”

“He'll be back. I'm actually going to spend the night at his place. He's coming back to get me.”

“Ah.” A light flashed behind his eyes. “So, I take it everything did work out. I'm glad, just be careful this time.” He smiled wickedly. “I'm not sure if I can handle another 'I might be pregnant' story this soon after the first.”

Noin smacked him in the arm. “I don't think I could either.”

That was when the doorbell rang.

“That would be your lover now.” Duo said with a wide grin as he ran from his bed and out the door. He ran down the stairs and pulled the front door open with flourish. “Well hello, Mr. Loverboy.”

“Maxwell.” Came the dry greeting. “I take it that you have spoken with Noin.”

Nodding, Duo stepped aside to let Wufei enter. “Tell me one thing, Wufei.” He was asking suddenly in a somber mood. “What is going on between the two of you? I just don't want to see either of you hurt.”

Wufei looked up to see that Noin was just leaving her room, bag in hand. He spoke softly so that only Duo could hear. “More then we know.” And it was true. Neither Noin or Wufei knew for sure exactly, but both had ideas.

“That will work for now,” Duo crossed his arms. “but I will ask again at a later date.”

By then Noin joined them. “I'm ready.” She smiled brightly. She then hugged Duo with her free are and kissed him on the cheek. “I'll see you tomorrow. I'm sure there are enough leftovers to hold you over until then.”

“Have fun you two.” Duo smiled and waved as the couple walked out the door and headed towards Wufei's car.

“Were you able to finish you errands?”

“Yes.”

Noin sighed. So it was going to be like that. “It's still kind of early, did you have any plans for the rest of the day?”

Wufei gazed at her briefly before turning him attention back to the road. “Yes.”

She ended up just putting her elbow on the door and rested her head in her hand for the rest of the trip. Once they pulled into the driveway, Noin could not seem to get out of the car quick enough. She was hoping Wufei would be more like he usually was when they were together.

Noin was a little annoyed that he was taking his own sweet time while opening the back door to retrieve the small brown paper bag, lock his car, walk over to unlock the front door and then finally walk inside.

She was close to follow. She had set her bag under a small table by the door so it was out of the way until she made her way upstairs. Noin then put her shoes in the designated area. She looked over to see that Wufei was still working on removing his own shoes.

Keeping her back ti him, Noin walked out of the entryway and into the open area in front of the stairs. Her arms were crossed over her chest, but they quickly fell when Wufei slipped his own around her waist from behind. She had not even heard him approach, but she had paid more attention when the silence hit.

Wufei felt her stiffen slightly in surprise as her arms dropped, but she soon relaxed to lean against his chest and placed her arms a cross his. He even felt her lace her fingers with his, but what he enjoyed most was that she tilted her head to the side just enough so that if he wanted to take advantage of her exposed neck or ear, he was more then welcome.

It seemed he had passes on his sweet spots.

Wufei was not one to pass up such a pleasureful opportunity. His lips softly trailed kisses all over the marks he had already left. He figured that if she wanted to keep up a professional look at work on Monday, she would wither need to find a nice scarf or use a lot of makeup.

That was when he decided to move to her ear. Wufei was not sure if he really liked the idea of her hiding the evidence that she was now his. He probably bit her ear a little harder then he planned at this thought, because she tensed and hissed while her grip on his hands tightened. Wufei tried to pacify her by licking gently where he was just nibbling.

Wufei also moved their joined hands until he could place then under her red shirt and place them on her tight stomach. He felt the muscles twitch as his lips once again moved. This time behind her ear and then behind her neck and over to the other side of her throat.

He enjoyed the soft pants of her excitement and the easy accommodation she provided as she moved her head accordingly. That was just one of the things he found he was beginning to like about her, she seemed to know exactly what to do.

“Wufei.”

He nuzzling her neck as their hands roamed farther along her body. This time when she called his name, it was not a plea, not a request, not a demand. To Wufei, it was a calling. Even though she sounded content, there was something calling out to him and he was going to answer.

“Yes.” With that one word, he was able to convey what he was feeling in that moment. It was his answer. Wufei held her tight for one moment longer and made sure that she felt that even with what little they had done, he still wanted her.

He turned her around and pulled her down for a fierce kiss.

To Noin, it felt as if a small earthquake had hit, but she knew she was only trembling. She leaned more of her weight on him.

Wufei greedily took it.

She then moved one leg up to hook around his waist and shifted so that they could feel each other. Noin broke their kiss to move her face into his neck to hide her moan.

“Go upstairs, I'll be up with your bag.”

Noin nodded her head, but was reluctant to let him go. She slowly let go and moved her way towards the stairs. She made sure not to look back. She was afraid that if she did, she would jump him right on the stairs.

She must have been moving slower then she thought, either that or he was now moving faster. Because, once she was in Wufei's room, she sat on the bed, only to see that he had already sat her bag down by the door and was moving towards the bed.

Noin also noticed he was holding the brown paper bag.

“What's in the bag?”

Instead of answering, he opened the bag and pulled out a not so small box. Wufei held back his smirk as her eyes widened. “I figured these might last us a little while.”

“Not too long I hope.” Her eyes now sparkles with mischief, now that her shock was gone.

“We'll see.”

Noin smiled as he removed his outer shirt then moved to join her on the bed. She was beginning to think that she belonged to him, be she had to remind herself that so far everything between them has been physical. She could not allow any other feelings to try and work their way in just now.

Not yet.

This woman was his. If he had his way, she always would be.

Even if he was only in lust.

:

When Noin had told Wufei she was not with child, she assumed that he would let out a sigh of relief and then never bring the subject up again. What really happened was that he looked out the window of his bedroom for a few minuets, before he almost ran to the bed and practically threw himself at her.

She was shocked as he almost ripped her clothes off. To be honest, she was scared. That was the only time they were together that he scared her. It was not because he was rough or did not see to her needs, it was his need and the feel of loss.

To Noin, it felt as if she had told him she had miscarried their first child. A child they had planned, wanted, loved.

After he had let out his frustrations, she held him and he did not say one word.

Not long after, once they moved from the bed to clean up, everything seemed to be back to normal. It was a Saturday, so Noin was able to spend the night, she figured she would have no matter what the day had been.

Children have not been mentioned since.

:

It had been just over two months since Noin first kissed Wufei in the gym that fateful day. She could definitely say that her life had changed since then. She spent most evenings with Wufei, the two finally had made it out of the bedroom after the first week and actually go on real dates. On the weekends she spent the nights with him. She did sleep at home, however, when she had worked the next day.

On Sundays, while Wufei would make meals for the upcoming week, she also go into the habit of making dishes for Milliardo and Duo. Sometimes the two would would together on a dish and one Sunday she insisted on making her usual meals plus his. That was a mistake.

Noin was too tired to fully enjoy Wufei's snuggles before he took her home.

Never again.

:

Today was Sunday. At the moment the lovers were upstairs in Wufei's home office. They were sitting on the loveseat just enjoying each others company, books that were being read long forgotten.

Wufei sat normally while Noin sat sideways curled up against his chest with her legs bent on the other half. He was running one of his hands along her back and the other along her thigh. While one of her hers made random patterns on his chest.

“Don't leave tonight.”

Noin chuckled softly. “We have work tomorrow. I don't think Une will be as forgiving if we miss another day so soon.”

“We will just make sure we get up.”

“Why do you want me to stay all of a sudden.”

He was silent.

Noin sighed as she leaned back. “I should be going home.”

Wufei narrowed his eyes. “All you do is sleep there five nights a week. How is that a home.” He then moved her over so he could stand and leave the room.

“What is wrong, Wufei? You have not been like this since we were first together.” Noin had stood as well. She was ready to chase him. They may mot speak words of love when they are together, but she knew they had something worth fighting for.

He stopped before he reached the door and she stood two feet behind him.

“I figured you would be smart enough to know what I was really asking.”

She thought about the very few comments and gestures that he had given her in just the last few moments. There was really only one thing that came to mind.

“Do you want me to move in with you?”

“No.”

His answer was crisp and sharp. Noin knew he was lying to her. “That's good to know, I wouldn't want to live with a liar.” She was not sure why, but he was the only one who could bring out her full temper.

Wufei whorled around to face her. “I have not lied to you.”

“I believe you did. I think you were asking me to move in, why did you say no?”

“I don't want to live with someone whose home is someplace else.”

Noin threw her arms in the air in a move she had seen Duo do before, but never herself. “What else would I call the house I'm co-owner of and all of my belongings are there? Like you said yourself, I even sleep there.” She took a steep forward and put her hands on her hips. “What else would I call it besides my home?”

She was more then a little upset. Wufei pretty much in his own way had asked her to move in and then he acted like nothing major was asked of their relationship.

Wufei put his hands in his pockets. He remembered her getting like this once before when he was thinking about getting out of seeing Sally and Une's new baby. That was only a month ago, he also remembered that he did not win.

He remembered clearly how she was able to get him to tell her everything he was feeling about the subject, even though he would have rather not. He also remembered the major headache that came along with it. He decided to go ahead and tell her at least something to try and pacify her.

“Where is your heart?”

Noin blinked and a good bit of the heat left her eyes. “My heart? Well... My heart is with you.” Her voice was soft and her body language was almost vulnerable. They had never spoken with words with such feelings and it kind of worried her how he would react.

“Home is where the heart is.” Wufei closed the distance between them, then placed a warm hand on the side of her face.” “I was not only asking you to move in.” He pulled his other hand out of his pocket and held out a small box.

Noin looked from the box to Wufei and then back again. She finally took the box and watched him take a step back to give her a little privacy. She opened the box to find it lined with white silk. On the silk was a beautiful gold key ring that was elegantly made into a Chinese character that she was not familiar with and also, it was hooked to what she suspected was a copy of his house key.

“What does it mean?” Her voice was almost awe-inspired by the craftsmanship and also the fact that he was ready for this and she was seriously considering it.

“Marriage.”

He knew that it was not the usual ring that most woman receive, but she was not like most woman and their relationship and lives were not normal. She was not one for fancy jewelry. Wufei was in hopes that this choice was the right one.

Her eyes snapped to his. The black orbs oddly reminded her of the night she told him she was not pregnant. She was able to clearly see a new kind of need and want, but there also seemed to be hope and fear. She could break this man, this soldier, this Gundam pilot with one word.

Noin placed her lips on his. So that's what she had been feeling for almost two months. How was where the heart is and when she kissed Wufei, she was home.
