Freind or Foe

Goku had fully recovered like Akasha said he would.
Just before they all walked out to go to the training
room Akasha and Piccolo came in carrying Vegeta’s
unconscious body. “Akasha what did u do to him?” Goku
asked in shock. “Don’t worry his body will be ok as
long as we put him in the chamber and I will explain
afterwards.” Akasha said in a hurry.

They put him into the tank and made sure it was
working properly. Then Akasha began to explain.

“I used my Hikari Beam attack. It’s an attack I
learned in my travels. You see it not only attacks the
body but it attacks the being soul. Its what I used to
defeat Taltos in my fight on Yarddarrat.” “Alright,
but the question is will Vegeta be ok?” Goku asked.
“Yes but it will take about a month for him to wake
up. You see his body will only take a few hours to
heal in the tank but his soul, that’s something that
will take at least a month of rest to recover. Until
then he will be in a deep sleep. But he’s lucky I
didn’t use the Hikari Beam at full power.” “So Vegeta
will be ok?” Goku asked again. “Yes he will, all he
needs is rest. After he comes out of the tank his body
will be perfectly fine, not even a scar will be left
on his body, but I’m going to put him in the lab and
hook him up to the monitors there just incase anything
happens we will know right away. But I will need help
taking care of my brother. Would any of you care to
help?” “ I will!” Goku said immediately after she
finished her sentence.

Akasha took Vegeta’s body out when he fully healed.
She and Goku took him to the lab where they attached
him to a monitor that was attached to a bed on the far
wall. Akasha told Goku that she would be back in a few
moments and that she would show the others out and
told them to come back tomorrow nigShe She left the
lab and left Goku alone with the sleeping prince. Goku
took Vegeta’s hand into his. He kissed Vegeta’s warm
hand and looked into his face.

“Vegeta, I was so afraid I had lost you when Akasha
and Piccolo broutht you into the tank room. My heart
skipped a beat when I saw you. And I don’t know what I
would do if I ever lost you. I love you Vegeta and I
hope that one day you will be able to tell me that you
love me too, like I know you do. I can even feel it
now while I’m here with you.” Goku then, with tears in
his eyes, went over and kissed Vegeta’s lips ever so
lovingly with all his heart and soul.

Mean while…….

“Ok you guys Goku and I will take care of Vegeta. You
guys can come back tomorrow night and see how he’s
doing.” Akasha told the others. They all left but
Akasha asked Piccolo to stay and talk with her if he
could. She told him that she had come to earth also to
meet him. When she said this Piccolo was dumbfounded.
“Piccolo I don’t know why but when the nameks told me
about you, I was… just as anxious to meet you as I was
with my bother and Goku.” “Why is that?” Piccolo asked
intrigued. “I will tell you that when I am ready. But
as for now I just want to say that I hope you and the
others will except me.” After a conversation Akasha
and Piccolo went back into the ship. They both checked
on Goku and Vegeta and after that she gave him a tour
of her ship and thentinntinued to talk as well. Then
she told Piccolo that she was going into the tank to
heal herself and that he could come back later or
tomorrow night with the others. He said he would
return tomorrow and he left. Then Akasha checked in on
Goku and Vegeta once more and told Goku she would be
back after she was healed.

For the entire month Goku stayed with Vegeta, never
leaving his side. He got to know Akasha more and as he
did so they became good friends. She also spent time
with Tien, Yamcha, Krillin, and even more with
Piccolo. They all began to like her and Piccolo
introduced her to Trunks and Goten. They loved her
immediately They where both only 13 years old and they
where constantly found together. It was becoming the
same way for Akasha and Piccolo. They trained and
meditated together, and they where obviously growing
more found of each other. When Vegeta awoke Goku was
there and only him. Akasha had just left in what
seemed to be perfect timing.
