Ch. 8

\"Gohan?\" Bulma went to the kitchen where he was rummaging through the fridge. \"It\'s past midnight. What are you doing up so late?\"

\"Oh. I wanted a snack,\" the teen said, closing the fridge. Cradled in his arms were a turkey drumstick, grapes, cheese, and a soda. \"And Dad\'s not home yet. I figured I\'d wait up.\"

Bulma yawned. \"I guess that means Vegeta\'s with him. But whatever, kid. Just remember to shut off the lights when you go back to bed.\"

\"Sure, Bulma.\"

Gohan rushed back to the fridge and returned the food. He hadn\'t the intentions of eating. Instead he wanted to go out and look for his father. Earlier in the evening, he was awoken by such a strong energy. He was able to recognize his father\'s energy within and instant, and soon after that, he recognized Vegeta\'s. But what could they be doing? Could another enemy be attacking Earth? If that was the case, he wanted in on the action. He wasn\'t a little boy anymore. He was eighteen and proud to have survived to the age.

A burst of energy shook him out of his thoughts. Gohan flicked off all the lights and stepped outside. For a long moment he stood on the doorstep and stared at the moon. It sparked something within him, but he wasn\'t quite sure what. A shiver shook his frame. Gohan took off in search of his father and Vegeta.

As he grew closer to their location, Gohan felt that their ki had dropped significantly. He doubled his speed for fear they were hurt. He flew over the forest that quickly gave view of a clearing--a cliff top. With a gasp, he darted down towards the two bodies that laid across the ground.

\"You were wonderful, Kakarot,\" Vegeta rasped. He ran a finger along Goku\'s cheekbone.

\"Mmm... So were you,\" he whispered.

Vegeta was seated while Goku laid with his head in Vegeta\'s lap. Both were naked with a sheen of sweat covering their bodies. Vegeta continued to stroke his lover\'s cheek with one hand while he ran the other over Goku\'s chest. He could feel Goku\'s purr vibrate up his arm.

\"Vegeta?\"

\"Yes, Kakarot?\"

\"Do you feel that?\" Goku looked up at Vegeta with a fearful expression.

Vegeta looked towards the sky. \"Hmm... Yes! But what is it?\"

Before they could comprehend what or who was headed their way, it was there.

\"Father!?\" Gohan shouted.

\"Gohan!\" Goku climbed to his feet and scrambled to pull on his clothes.

Vegeta stood to pull on his spandex outfit and he did so shamelessly as he watched Goku trip over his pants. \"Well? Out with it! What is it, boy?\" he hissed.

Gohan stared at Vegeta, then shifted his gaze to his father. \"What\'s going on, Dad?\"

Goku regained his balance. \"Gohan... This isn\'t exactly how I wanted you to find out.\"

\"Find out what, exactly? That you\'re fucking Vegeta? That you cheated on Mom? And with him?\" Gohan\'s eyes narrowed.

\"Gohan, please,\" Goku stepped towards his son only to have him take a step back. \"It\'s just that--\"

\"We\'re saiyans, boy!\" Vegeta cut in. \"Our blood burns for our own kind. Do you know that feeling you had tonight?\" He flickered out of view and reappeared behind Gohan.

\"How did you--\" Gohan stammered.

Vegeta chuckled. \"I just do,\" he whispered, his breath hot against Gohan\'s ear. \"It\'s your nature. Your saiyan senses are becoming apparent despite your being half human.\" He grinned to himself. \"Pity you haven\'t your tail.\"

\"Vegeta!\" Goku shrieked.

\"I only speak the truth.\"

\"Not that, but _that_!\" Goku pointed at Vegeta\'s tail. It was wrapped around Gohan\'s thigh, the tip slightly brushing at the buldge in the boy\'s pants.

\"Hmph. Sorry, boy,\" Vegeta said as he unwound his tail.

\"It\'s... okay,\" Gohan said softly.

Vegeta walked in front of the boy and faced him with a smirk across his face. \"But you understand, don\'t you?\"

\"Y--yes.\"

Goku just stood in the background, silent with shock. \"How\'d you do that?\"

\"Nevermind, Kakarot. The question is how are we going to keep your boy quiet?\" He waved the tip of his tail under Gohan\'s nose.

Gohan took in the scent. \"I... won\'t say a word.\"

\"Good,\" Vegeta crossed his arms.

Gohan looked past Vegeta and at his father. \"I promise. But what about Mom? Does she know? And Bulma?\"

\"No, Gohan,\" he said as he sidled up to Vegeta. \"And it\'s important that you don\'t tell them or Goten or Trunks. Vegeta and I have been trying to figure out how to tell them.\"

Gohan blushed and looked down at his feet. \"I\'m sure.\"

Vegeta smiled at Goku, then looked at Gohan. \"We should get back. If not, that woman will never let me hear the end of it.\"

The three took to the skies. They soared gracefully above the city. The lights below blinked up at them. Vegeta and Goku flew ahead of Gohan. The teen straggled behind to be left alone with his thoughts. He had just gained insight of his father having a relationship with Vegeta-his supposed rival. Incredible!

Although stung by the fact that his parents were no longer together, Gohan wasn\'t necessarily angry with Goku despite his previous outburst. He saw how his mother treated his father from time to time. As far as his father being with another man, he hadn\'t any room to judge upon being informed of his heritage. At the very thought, his thigh burned where Vegeta had his tail earlier. His touch felt so… wonderful.

He stared ahead at Vegeta, whose tail was whipping wildly in the wind. He hadn\'t noticed it before, but Vegeta was quite attractive. Goku glanced back at his son and smiled slightly. He then flew closer to Vegeta.

\"You shouldn\'t have teased him like that,\" Goku whispered.

Vegeta chuckled as they made their descent towards Capsule Corp. They touched down on the doorstep.

\"I\'m going to bed,\" Goku yawned. \"We\'ll talk more about this tomorrow, Gohan.\"

\"Yes, Father,\" Gohan nodded as his father went inside.

Vegeta was going to follow, but was stopped suddenly when he felt the boy\'s hand close around his wrist. He turned towards him and was met with a searing kiss. He felt his eyes grow wide as Gohan ran his hands along his backside. His hands found the base of Vegeta\'s tail and stroked it gently.

The older saiyan closed his eyes and leaned into the kiss. He moaned into the boy\'s mouth, then his eyes snapped open upon realizing what he was doing.

He pushed Gohan away roughly. \"Stop it, boy! Do you have any idea what you\'ve done!?\"

\"More like do you have any idea what _you\'ve_ done?\" Gohan smirked. \"When you touched me…\" he lurched forward to grab Vegeta and brought him into another kiss.

\"Gohan?\" Goku whispered from the doorway.

\"Kakarot!\" Vegeta pulled away from the boy.

\"No, Vegeta. It\'s okay,\" Goku looked down at the ground. When he looked up again, a huge smile was plastered across his face.

\"What are you smiling about, clown?\" Vegeta snapped.

\"I told you that you shouldn\'t have teased him. Look at him. He\'s hot for you, and I can\'t say that I blame him.\" Goku snaked his arms around Vegeta\'s waist. \"Perhaps…\" he paused to kiss the tip of Vegeta\'s nose. \"Perhaps this calls for a sort of punishment.\"

Gohan stood in the background with a puzzled look upon his face. \"What do you mean, Father?\"

\"Don\'t worry, son. You\'ll enjoy it,\" he kissed Vegeta full on the lips. \"And so will I,\" he purred.

Vegeta pulled away. \"I don\'t understand, Kakarot. What is the meaning of this?\"

Goku walked over to stand beside his son. \"You\'ll understand soon enough.\"

A/N: Upon reading 2 recent reviews, I\'d just like to ask isn\'t a little presumptuous to assume that \"this\" or \"that\" is definitely going to happen, especially when I haven\'t even posterd, let alone begun to think about the next chapter? Also, if you seriously have a problem with how _I_ decided to end Ch. 8 of _MY_ piece of _FICTION_ then might I suggest that you take a good, long read of the _DISCLAIMER_ upon entering the site!
