Chapter Nine
After the little bedroom incident Ed, Al and Winry were going to see Aunt Poneko (sp?). "I hope she's not cranky." Ed said as they rode the cart, going to the old woman's house.
"When is she not?" Al joked and Winry growled at them.
"Shut up you two." Winry humphed.
"Okay Al, we better stop before she throws us out of the cart." Ed said with a chuckle.
They went silent as they arrived at the house. Poneko was stepping out with the huge dog (forgot his name) at her side and they hopped out of the cart.
"Nice seeing you again Al, Ed and Winry." Poneko said. "I heard there's a lot of trouble going on." She said, taking a puff off her pipe.
"Yeah, but we'll figure out what to do." Ed said and Poneko blew some smoke out.
"Well come in, there's food cooking and I made plenty as usual." Poneko said and they followed her into the nice two story house.
"Smells good." Ed drooled as they entered the kitchen and looked in a large kettle on the stove.
"Stay out of there until it's done." Poneko shooed him away. "Winry, go down to the cellar and get me the large jug of cider." She said.
"I can't lift it." Winry complained.
"Then have Al help you." Poneko growled and Winry went grumbling away with Al behind her. When they were gone she turned to Ed. "So Edward, I heard from a little metal birdie you're quite popular with the ladies." She said and Ed went red.
"God damn it Al!" Ed yelled and Poneko chuckled. "When did he tell you!?"
"Don't be angry with him. I phoned one day and asked how you two were doing." Poneko said. "Who knows, maybe you'll end up with a few kids with how you're going." She puffed on her pipe.
"God damn it!" Ed shouted. "It's nobody's business what I do." He huffed and Poneko poked him in the ribs.
"Settle down Ed. How many women have you poked?" She chided and he turned even redder.
"Aunt Poneko!" Ed exclaimed.
"Come on Ed, I've been around." She said and Ed sighed.
"Three." Ed said and she whistled.
"How many have you messed around, but now had sex with?" She asked.
"God you're nosey." Ed complained.
"Well I have been taking care of you since you were little." Poneko said and Ed sighed again.
"One okay." Ed said and crossed his arms. They went silent as Winry and Al came back. Al put the large bottle on the counter and Ed shot lightning at him with a glare.
"Ah!" Al yelped. "W-what's wrong brother?" He chuckled nervously.
"Nothing Al, just you can't keep your mouth shut." Ed grumbled.
"I'm sorry Ed, don't be mad." Al begged.
"You two knock it off." Poneko sighed. "Now everyone sit down, food should be done."
"Yeah, yeah." Ed said and helped her bring the food to the table where they sat to have dinner.
