Part 8

The next day:
~~~~~~~~~~~

Trieze woke to find that there are men shouting
outside his bedroom. He rises and opens his room
door. He said "What is going on here?"

A guard stops in front of his door and said "The
new mobile suit was stolen. Kash and his sister are
missing."

The guard flinched at Trieze's hard look he was
receiving.

Trieze said "What the hell happened to turn my
children against me? Did they receive any calls or
messages?"

The guard shook his head.

At the safe house:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Zechs woke up screaming looking for Quatre. He
finds a note on the pillow and reads it:

Zechs my love,
I am sorry but I had a mission come up. Don't
worry I will return to your side soon enough.
Trowa has joined me. WuFei is asleep help him
with Duo. I heard him screaming this morning.
Heero still doesn't trust Kash, Kaiza, or
MiChelle. Duo needs them now more than ever.
MiChelle was making breakfast in the kitchen
when me and Trowa left. Remember to help out
while I'm gone.
I'll be back soon. I love you.

Zechs didn't know he was crying until tears fell
off his chin and smudged the paper.

WuFei wakes up and walks down the stairs to find
out about the smell coming from the kitchen. He had
a hard night trying to subdue Duo's nightmares and
was now in a foul mood.

Duo was sitting at the table playing with his
food.

Kash said "Man, Ste... Duo you never change.
Playing with your food before you eat it."

Duo just smiled and laughed.

WuFei walked in when he heard Duo's laugh.

WuFei said "That is a sound I missed hearing.
Good morning, Kash. Who is cooking?"

Kash said "Chelley and Kaiza are making
breakfast."

WuFei nodded.

MiChelle walked up to WuFei with a pot of
coffee and filled WuFei's mug.

WuFei nodded a hello to her.

Duo just held out his glass to MiChelle.

MiChelle nodded and walked back to the fridge.

MiChelle returned with the glass full of orange
juice.

Duo leaned into WuFei and said, "Do you want some
breakfast Chelley makes the best?"

WuFei just smiled and nodded.

Heero walked in from the side door and fixed his
eyes on Duo.

Duo started to shake and moved away from WuFei.

Heero shook his head and walked out of the room.

Duo got up and ran to MiChelle.

MiChelle said, "Duo, please let go of me. WuFei,
please help me."

MiChelle grabbed Duo's hands and moved them away
from her.

WuFei got up and went to help.

As MiChelle handed him Duo's hands, Duo began to
scream loudly.

Duo shouted, "Let me go bad man! Leave me alone!"

WuFei released Duo's hands and looked hurt that
Duo would call him that.

Kash walked up and said, "Remember what my sister
said when he did this before. You have to love him
just that much more."

WuFei nodded.

Duo sat under the table rocking.

Kash walked up to the table and sat on the
floor. He whispered something to Duo and the
latter nodded.

Duo's trembling hand reached out for someone
as Kash stood up.

Kash looked at WuFei and said, "Go to him. He
wants to be held. For some reason it is the one
who walked out that caused this episode."

WuFei nodded and sat on the floor. He reached
for Duo's hand and held his breath.

Duo latched onto WuFei's hand and the latter
let himself breathe again.

Duo said in a child-like voice, "am sorry... me
got fraid."

WuFei just smiled and replied, "I will always
forgive you. I want to help you through this like
your sister and brother."

Duo nodded in answer.

MiChelle walked out of the cooking area and
said, "No one wants to eat. Throw it away Kaiza."

Duo shouted, "NO!! ME EAT!! FEI EAT!!!"

WuFei pulled Duo out from under the table.

Zechs walked to the table slower and sadder.

The kitchen door opened and a figure walk in.

Zechs sighs brokenly.

Kash said to Zechs, "Good morning."

Zechs shouted, "What the hell is so good about it?!"

Duo started to whimper and fall to the floor.

A voice said from the kitchen, "Zechs, calm down I
just got back."

The others around the table had to cover their ears
as Zechs yelled at the top of his lungs, "QUATRE!!!"

Quatre walked out and nodded. He looked at Kash
and said, "Trieze is mad as hell at you and your
sister."

Quatre's voice went quiet as he continued about
the mission, "Trowa was injured bad. He told me not
to tell Heero about this mission. Trowa is scared
right now after what happened on this mission."

Zechs said, "What happened?"

Quatre shrugged his shoulders and said
softly, "He told me to take him to Sally's clinic
and bring his Gundam back. When we landed at
Sally's clinic, Trowa was clutching his stomach
and rib cage."

Zechs gasped as a figure stepped out of the
dark.

Heero's voice said, "Is that why you exited
your Gundam but Heavyarms is still closed? Tell
me Quatre."

Quatre nodded.

Heero growled and said, "What the hell was
this mission about?"

Quatre said softly and pitifully, "To really
destroy Trieze at his heart that was Trowa's
mission. Mine was just backing him up."

Heero said, "Then I will ask him when we get
to Sally's clinic."

The others forgot about breakfast and headed
to the clinic.

Trowa limped out holding his ribs when the
pilots got there.

Sally said, "Trowa, you must find a way to
release the stress. It will hurt you more now
more than ever. I can't believe Trieze did...."
Her sentence was stopped when she saw the other
pilots.

Heero said, "What happened?"

Trowa turned around and shook his head. He
walked away and touched Kaiza's shoulder. He
walked away fully.

The others walk at a distance following Trowa
back to the safe house.

Trowa walked in and up the stairs. Heero followed
Trowa while the others sat on the couches and chairs.

Heero opened the door and walked into the room.

Trowa didn't hear him and continued to hum softly
while rubbing his throat.

Trowa said softly to himself, "The others must not
know. They will all leave me."

Heero said, "Why would you think that we would
leave you? What happened?"

Trowa jumped off the bed and shook his head while
facing away from his lover.

Heero walked over to Trowa and pulled him into a
hug.

Trowa struggled but when the arms kept pulling at
him a whimper left his throat.

Heero said, "Calm down. I am only trying to comfort
you. What happened on the mission?"

Trowa just shook his head.

Heero remembered what Michelle did with Duo, and
he tried it with his lover. He said, "Trieze hurt
you." He felt Trowa nod. He asked the next question
with little emotion, "Did he rape you?" When he felt
his lover nod, he growled deep in his throat.

Trowa started to shake. He felt Heero soothingly
rubbing his back.

Heero said softly, "I will make him pay." He felt
Trowa shake his head.

Unknown to the occupants of the bedroom, one
listened at the door. They heard footsteps running
away from them. Trowa tensed and started to rock.

Duo understood what he had to do. His family
was falling apart because of that bad man and he
must stop the bad man himself. Duo ran out of the
safe house with tears in his eyes.

Kash was running after him calling his name.

Duo shook his head and dove into his gundam.

WuFei walked in and said, "Duo what are you
going to do?"

Duo said, "I am going to go protect my family
from that monster. I am going to make sure he
doesn't hurt any of you guys again. farewell."

Deathsycthe flew out of the bay and out of
sight.
