Chapter 1: A Change In Pace

Gohan was flying at a leisurely pace for his first day at high school. It had been 5 years since the day of the Cell Games. Gohan now had yearyear old brother, Goten, that was a virtual clone of their father, Goku. Gohan had kept up in training in ways that he could hide it from his mother. Chi-Chi would not have approved of Gohan still wanting to fight. Gohan had trained in a way that Piccolo often did, self mind sparring and meditation. This training did raise Gohan’s powo doo double what it was from the Cell Games but increased his ki control to a level that allowed him to cut the power use in half yet double the damage as if the use was at a normal level. Vegeta was very pissed about Gohan’s ki control. Gohan and Vegeta may be at the same power level but Gohan’s impressive control over all quadrupled his strength. Gohan exchanged his secret of control if Vegeta would teach him to control his Oozaru form. The proud prince reluctantly agreed. Now Gohan could be 10 times stronger when an Oozaru, especially now that his tail was back.

Gohan saw Satan City come up on the horizon where his school was located. Gohan was going to be starting high school at Orange Star High. After years of home schooling, 16 year old Gohan was going to be startiis sis sophomore year in an actual high school.

Another thing that Gohan has achieved over the years was a ‘semi-permanent’ Super Sai-jin form. Gohan now had to actually FORCE him self out of Super Sai-jin so his mother did not know. This semi-permanent form was something that sent Vegeta into a rage; he went through 42 GRs in a month because of this alone. Gohan smirked at the thought that he could so easily irk ‘Veggie-chan’, as he like to call Vegeta by het net name Bulma gave him.

G not noticed he was close to the school, making sure he was not super and wrapped his tail around his waist and hid it under his shirt. Once at the school, Gohan landed in front without anyone seeing him. Gohan walked up to the front door. Once there, Gohan felt something weird, his tail began to shiver, but not in a bad way, it actually felt good for some reason. Shrugging it off, Gohan entered Orange Star High School, the best high school in Japan.

After a few minutes of searching and many circles, Gohan found the office. Gohan went in, there he saw a 20 something female secretary. She was a brunet, wore painfully red lipstick and an overly revealing dress. Gohan walked up to her. Opening his mouth to ask for his schedule, Gohan got a full breath of her perfume. To Gohan’s sensitive nose, the perfume was like hot sauce sprayed up nos nostrils. Taking shallow breaths Gohan asked, “Hi, I’m Son Gohan. I need my schedule.”

The brunet looked up at him and gave a sleazy smile, “Sure thing cutie, is there anything else you want?” As she was saying this, the secretary pulled up Gohan’s schedule and printed it out.

Gohan cringed at what the secretary was suggesting, Only the most desperate would go after such a whore, Gohan thought. Grabbing his schedule, Gohan left in a hurry. As the door closed he heard the secretary hit on the next guy, who surprisingly agreed. Shaking his head, Gohan went in search is fis first class of the day.

Satan Videl sat in her first class, Language Arts. To her left was an empty seat, apparently reserved for a new student. To her right was a female blond by the name of Erasa. Next to Erasa was a blond guy that had muscles that bulged like they were about to burst, his name was Sharpner. Videl gaffed at the way Sharpner had continuously hit on her for the past 4 years. He just wanted to get on Satan Hercule’s good side, Videl was just a tool to do so. It disgusted her, no one was interested in Videl for Videl.

Videl looked at the front of the amphitheater like class room when the teacher announced the arrival of a new student. Videl saw the door open to reveal a god. He was 6’ 4”, black spiky hair that stood strait up, tight blue t-shirt, loose shorts that ended just below his knees. These cloths showed off a body that got every girl drooling, literally, even Videl, while the boys looked on is completd und un-adulterated jealousy.

“Class,” the teacher spoke, “this is our new student, Son Gohan.”

Girls began to whisper, whistle and day dream. Videl thought she was dreaming when some one asked a question, “Son? Are you related to Son Goku, the martial artist?”

Gohan was shocked, he didn’t know his father was famous. “Yeah, why do you ask? What was he famous for?”

Everyone gasped, this kid was so naïve as to think his fathes nos not famous! Videl decided to explain, her way, “YOU MEAN TO TELL US THAT YOU DID NOT KNOW YOUR FATHER WON THE 23rd TENKAICHI BOUDOKAI?! HE IS A LEGEND!!”

Gohan looked at her, his tail shivered twice as much when he looked her in the eyes. Ok, I\'m talking to Vegeta about this, Gohan thought. “I just knew he competed in some tournaments, nothing more,” was Gohan’s naïve response as he scratched the back of he neck and head in the usual Son manner.

Another student had a question, “I heard that your father had a monkey like tail, is that true?”

Gohan was shocked at that question. He thought people forgot about his father’s tail. “Uh. . . yes he did have a tail, he was born with it.”

“Were you born with a tail,” that same student asked.

Gohan did not know how to answer. If he lied and his tail would be discovered people would wonder what else he had hidden. If he told the truth, it might not be as bad. Deciding to tell the truth, Gohan answered, “I was born with a tail.”

Everyone gasped; things like ‘freak’, ‘mutant’, ‘monster’ and more were whispered around the room. Gohan also heard some girls talking about what his tail could be ‘used for’. That thought alone scared him more. This fear made his tail go limp and fall out from under his shirt. Everyone stopped talking when they saw this.

Looking to the teacher, Gohan silently asked if he could be seated. “Ok everyone, enough Q and A about Son-san. Gohan, you will be sitting next to S Vid Videl. Videl, would you please stand up.”

Videl stood up and gave Gohan a glare that turned his blood to ice. He thought only his mother or Bulma could glare like that. Gohan nervously walked up the stairs to his seat, his tail tightly wrapped around his waist in full view.

Once Gohan was seated, Erasa introduced herself and the ‘others’, “Hi cutie, my name is Erasa, this big lug here is Sharpner and I’m sure you know who Videl is.”

Gohan looked from Erasa to Videl when she was mentioned. Giving a blank look Gohan asked, “Who is she?”

Videl choked on the breath she was taking, this guy did not know who she was!? Erasa decided to explain, “What?! You mean to tell me you do not recognize Satan Videl, daughter of Satan Hercule, 24th Tenkaichi Boudokai and defeater of Cell?!”

Gohan shook is head, which was when he noticed Videl’s angry face, she had it on all through out Erasa’s description of Videl. He understood that look, she was referred to as being in some one’s shadow. Gohan understood from being referred to as ‘Goku’s son’ until the Cell Games.

Unknown to Gohan at the time, but his tail had snaked it’s way into Videl’s lap. Lookingn, Vn, Videl saw Gohan’s tail lazily wagging in her lap, it looked very content. As Videl was leaving the school building she saw Gohan walking away rather agitated. Thought he was over 100 feet away, she could partially hear him talking about ‘bonding’, ‘Vegeta explaining’, and ‘mating’. She decided to follow him. As Gohan walked away from the main crowd and to a secluded area she noticed that he had not calmed down. Then something very strange happened, a golden aura exploded around Gohan as his hair and tail becgoldgolden yellow, eyes teal and the fact that he shot into the air as if he was flying.

Gohan flew to Capsule Corp. as fast as he could. He needed Vegeta’s advice, of all people. Vegeta was the only person that would tell him information about Sai-jins and not be tactful. Gohan needed information, and for it to be put bluntly. Landing out side of the main building, Gohan opened the door and ran to the GR. Once there, he threw the door open, grabbed Vegeta and threw him out. Closing the door, Gohan charged the whole room with his ki to the point that it was a strong as Vegeta. Gohan needed to work off some stress before he talked to the ‘Prince’.

Vegeta was dumbfounded: he had been thrown out of HIS GR by THE spawn of Kakorotto. Then Vegeta felt Gohan’s ki, it was erratic and at least twice Vegeta’s maximum. Vegeta then knew his problem, mating.

Damn brat needs some sense beaten into him or he will destroy half the planet, Vegeta thought. But he forgot about his bond with Bulma.

Bulma gasped and ran to the GR. When she got there she saw that the door literally glowed with Gohan’s ki. Looking to her mate for an explanation, Vegeta gave her one, “He has charged the whole GR with his ki, and it is unstable.” Bulma paled, that meant if Gohan lost control his power would erupt in an explosion. Judging by the amount of strength in the GR door alone, the explosion would be enough to destroy the whole Earth.

Gohan was in pain. His sai-jin and human sides were fighting for dominance. Both wanted the other gone and there was nothing Gohan could do to stop the battle. The battle was such a strain on his body that both sides were trying to expel each other. Gohan was bleeding from his mouth, eyes, ears, nose and pores. He could smell that half of the blood was distinctly human, the rest sai-jin. He had lost 10% of his blood by the time he heard Bulma and Vegeta discussing what was happening to him.

He could feel his sai-jin and human halves battling each other inside of his body. When he saw Videl, Gohan had the urge to fuck her. His sai-jin side did. His human side said not too. As the school day went on, it just got worse. Now he could feel both sides of his soul in a battle for control. Currently, both sides were even.

Gohan’s power continued to rise. Gohan was on his knees roaring out in pain. Gohan’s hair was glowing, and so brightly that it was bathing the whole GR in blinding light that out did a Solar Flare. Gohan’s body then began to bleed profusely, every pour, eye, ear, finger nail and hair plug.

“The brat’s blood is battling for control. Gohan’s sai-jin side is fighting against his human side. This is why half-breeds are frowned upon, the mating rituals. It also doesn’t help with the fact that it’s a full moon right now. If the brat was full sai-jin he would be bedding her right now. But his human half is trying to stop him from taking her. There are four possibilities: he goes to find this female and mates with her, his human half wins and he becomes a full human, his sai-jin half wins and he becomes a full sai-jin followed by him still mating with this female or both sides destroy each other with him dieing with or without exploding his energy.”

Bulma did not like what would like these options. Two of the possibilities ended in Gohan possibly raping a girl, one would result in Gohan becoming human and very insecure while the fourth would end in Gohan’s death. The pain he must be in has to be the worst, Bulma thought.

Videl knew Gohan was in trouble, she did not know how, but in her gut she did. He was in pain, the greatest possible. Videl urged her jet-copter on. She needed and wanted to be by Gohan’s side, to protect and comfort him. Videl did not notice that tail that was now wrapped around her waist, squeezing tight in fear. Videl then sensed she was close to Gohan. Following her instincts, Videl landed out side of Capsule Corp. and ran inside. She did not know where she was, she did not care, and she just wanted to find Gohan.

Gohan opened his eyes in fear, Videl was close and right to him. He could sense both her energy and could some how feel her concern. As he stood up, Gohan’s power jumped again. His whole body was glowing with ki as his hair grew down his back to his thighs. Gohan’s eye brows disappeared while his forehead began to protrude and bulge in ‘Neanderthal’ fashion. Gohan’s power level was now at four times that of Vegeta’s. Gohan had lost half of his blood, 60% of that was human. Gohan’s sai-jin side was winning.

Gohan then felt something that made him pass out. His body expelled half of his blood, human and sai-jin. He felt like he was covered in something that should not exist. The feeling could not be described. The pain of the ‘extraction’ drowned out everything else. Gohan felt his consciousness go as his bleeding stopped as did his power level. Gohan passed out, fully transformed as a level 3 Super Sai-jin, power level 5 times that of Vegeta.

Vegeta and Bulma saw the glow on the GR door fall. Vegeta rammed right through it. Bulma fallowed. The saw a sight that made Vegeta clutch his stomach in a manner akin to the verge of vomiting. The entire floor, ceiling and walls were covered in enough blood to sicken Cell himself.han han was in the middle of this, unconscious and transformed at a new super sai-jin level.

Vegeta ran over to the boy and picked him up. Vegeta had a hard time with all the blood. Vegeta turned to Bulma and spoke, “Go prep a regeneration tank, now!”

Bulma did nothing but turn and run in the direction of the medical wing. In seconds all three were there, Bulma preparing the tank and Vegeta holding Gohan in his arms. Both had frantic looks on their faces.

After what seemed like years, Gohan was in the tank being stabilized. Vegeta was about to leave and take a shower when a young woman entered the regeneration room.

Videl ran down various halls, she could not find a direct rout to Gohan. Getting frustrated, her power shot up as she literally ran through the walls in a straight line to Gohan. What she found made her collapse as she looked at him. Gohan was inside of a clear egg like chamber filled with a blue liquid. There were various wires attached to his body to monitor his vitals while a mask force fed him oxygen. Looking around Videl saw a woman. Videl got up and charged the woman, grabbed her and stared into her blue-green eyes. Videl\'s teary eyes looked right into the blue-green ones of the unknown woman. Videl shakily asked, “What is happening to him?!”

Vegeta noticed her brown fury tail, she was a sai-jin some how. He would figure it out later, this female needed an explanation. Grabbing the girl from the back of her shirt, Vegeta turned her to look into his eyes. Vegeta then explained everything, right then and there, ki, Sai-jins, Vegeta-sei, Freiza, Cell, everything. Nothing was left out, tactful or exaggerated. The story was kept as it was. Videl was in shock, looking down, she saw her tail on the regen-tank glass. Gohan’s tail was reaching out to Videl’s, which was when all hell broke loose. Gohan suddenly discharged half of his remaining blood, his human half.

Videl looked on as Gohan’s body calmed down. He was sleeping and not moving, but she could feel that he was both emotionally and physically at peace. She sighed.

Bulma looked to her mate. “What do we do now,” she asked.

Vegeta spoke while he continued to look at the two teens, “Nothing, the boy will be fine a few minutes, physically. He will need rest after that. I suggest we have a room prepared for the two.”

Bulma nodded. She left to get a room prepared for them. Bulma approached one of the maids and spoke, “Have two rooms prepared for some guests.”

The maid nodded and went off.

Bulma turned and went for one of her many phones. Once there she picked it up and dialed the number for the Son home.

Chi-chi was pacing the house. Gohan was in trouble, her ‘woman’s intuition’ said so, and it was never wrong. Goten was sitting on the couch watching his mother pace around. He did not know what was going on and could not figure it out. Goten was thinking hard, We can’t be out of food. Icarus did not make that big a mess. The frog is gone. That snake was also thrown out. I just took a bath. So what is it?

Before either could ponder any more the phone rang. Chi-chi ran for it and picked it up.

“Chi-chi,” Bulma’s voice said, “Come over here quickly, Gohan is hurt.”

Chi-chi did not waste a second. She dropped the phone and began to pack clothes for Goten, Gohan and herself. In just a minute she was all packed up. Chi-chi raced back into the living room and grabbed her younger child.

“WAAHHH!!!” Goten had cried out as he was yanked by his collar. Before he knew it, they were on Nimbus and heading for Capsule Corp.

Gohan groaned as he woke up. He was naked, in a bed. Gohan looked around and saw that he was in one of Bulma’s guest rooms. Gohan then felt a presence to his left. He turned his head to see Videl sitting by him and crying softly. Gohan looked down her body and saw a tail in her hands, his. Gohan looked over Videl’s body more, she had a tail of her own. Gohan now understood why his body wanted her, Videl was a sai-jin as well.

Videl turned to look at Gohan when she felt his tail stiffen. She saw that he was awake and now in his normal form. She threw her body at him and cried into his chest while her arms went around his neck and tail around his waist. Gohan sat up as he wrapped his arms around Videl.

“I thought you were going to die,” Videl said into Gohan’s chest.

This shocked Gohan for a second. He calmed down once he realized that he would not need to explain everything to her.

Before anything else could happen, the door opened. There stood a worried mother, Chi-chi. She was about to run to Gohan when a Videl jumped in the woman’s path.

Chi-chi looked to the girl and spoke angrily, “Look missy, Bulma may have told me everything, but I want to see my baby!”

Videl glared at the woman, her tail bristled and stood strait up. Videl then punched the woman in the face and out of the room. Videl shut the door as soon as Chi-chi was out of the room and locked it. Videl then began to pile furniture to block the door.

Gohan looked at Videl in amazement. She had just done the impossible. She beat down Chi-chi! Gohan would have laughed had Videl not jumped on top of him.
