Piccolo: SHE ASKING NOT US HERCULES DAUGHTER!!
Majin Buu’s eye narrowed dangerously as he studied the dark hair girl in front of him. He had to search his memory to what daughter meant. He barely remembered asking long ago when he was the other Buu what a daughter or son meant. He had heard so many scream at him to kill them and leave their daughter/son alone. He had wondered why anyone would die for another. He couldn’t remember exactly what he was told. The girl was a part of Hercule. That was all he knew. The subtleties of parenthood were beyond him.
Hercule…that no good bastard of a human.
Buu growled to himself. He wanted to kill that man. Wanted to rip him and now his daughter apart. Tear them into thousands of gory and disgusting pieces that he would take great delight turning into little treats and eating.
He could almost imagine it. Blood spurting into the air, the metallic copperish scent of that blood, sharp and sweet. He could almost hear the screams and the bones breaking.
Ahh that would be so nice.
Buu refocused his attention on the girl. She was in a fighting stance. That was laughable; there was no way in hell that she would survive if he attacked.
However he couldn’t gather the energy to attack her. She was a part of Hercule.
It was happening again, first Hercule now his daughter.
When he tried to kill Hercule his body refused to move. When he saw Hercule all he could focus on was images of Hercule fixing food and laughing as they played with Bee. He literally couldn’t make himself kill the man. And it had nothing to do with him. It was the other Buu…the soft one. It was a block a mental block, and he Buu the greatest fighter in the universe couldn’t break it.
Now Hercules girl was asking him, begging him to give them one more day. Surprisingly the very thought started a mental war within himself.
One more day…the promise was for two it’s been only one. Give them the day. Its only a day what could they possibly do?
I hate the wait!
One more day…Hercule’s girl is asking.
I hate Hercule!
Hercule is our friend. He didn’t fear us.
Yes he did. He was ready to piss his pants when I attacked.
That’s because you attacked him. We were happy.
NOT I!!
Tell me Buu before that man…that evil man; did you want to come out?
No…
Buu growled angrily.
What was one more day? After all the green man was right, there were plenty of humans down below he could kill. True he could kill them in one awesome attack but what was the fun in that. If he killed them all now then he couldn’t turn any of them into chocolate.
And he was kind of hungry.
Buu’s frown turned into a smile of evil. He took a step forward and was insanely satisfied that the green man could barely keep from running away.
Buu: Fine…Majin Buu will give you one more day. The strong one better be ready by then or I will destroy this planet and kill all of you instead.
With that Buu rose into the ground and took off.
As he dropped below the Outlook he hovered for a moment stretching his senses out. He frowned again.
He didn’t sense anyone strong enough to be a challenge. Where was the strong one? Could he be hiding? But if he was hiding then was he really that strong? Would he get the good fight promised?
Buu shook his head and headed back toward earth. The one that made the promise wasn’t here as well. Maybe the strong one was with him.
Besides it didn’t matter really that the strong one wasn’t there…as long as he arrived tomorrow. That was all that mattered.
He spotted a city. It was a large one. He smiled evilly.
Even from this distance he could make out all the people below scrambling around like ants. He counted the beings living within…One hundred thousand and five.
He could almost feel sorry for them…if he knew how.
These stupid humans, how in Kami’s name did they survive this long. He considered it his duty to make the universe a better place by destroying them.
As he touched down in a secluded alley he wondered if anyone would recognize him. He did look a lot different. It might be funner if they didn’t. He could make them fear him all over again.
He was almost giddy with anticipation. He could hardly wait to kill.
He started to walk toward the street when he heard something.
He turned slightly and looked around wondering where the sound was coming from. It sounded almost like a muffled scream.
Curiously he walked further into the alley. Normally he wouldn’t have bothered but he had a full day to kill. He needed to span this out or he wouldn’t have anything to do and to much time on his hands.
He followed the muffled sounds of screaming and struggling. It sounded like someone was killing someone.
Buu smiled. Maybe the human would let him watch. That would be almost as fun as doing it himself. It had a strange tint of irony that Buu found pleasing.
Buu turned the corner and came upon the source of the noise.
Buu tilted his head confused.
The human wasn’t killing the other…but he was doing something else to her.
The woman was trying to scream…that was the screams he had heard before, but her mouth was covered by another man’s hands. He was holding her down as the other was attempting to do something to her. What ever ‘it’ was the man hadn’t done yet. Buu could sense his annoyance at the woman’s struggling.
Now Buu was just confused. This didn’t seem right, even to him.
He decided to stretch out his senses and touch the very weak energy of the woman.
He almost gagged at the extreme emotions the woman was putting out. Never in his life had Buu felt these things before. They were the same emotions he caused…but different somehow. There was hate, confusion, fear, pain…but they were twisted and all wrong.
What the hell were they doing to her?
Buu didn’t want to watch this. In fact he didn’t want this to go on.
Growling angrily Buu reached down and grabbed one of the men. He yelped in surprise.
The other cursed loudly and without even trying to help his friend ran into the darkness.
Buu’s frown deepened. He hated humans…but at least the ones he had met before had stood their ground or attempted to fight back. This one just ran…fucking coward.
Buu didn’t even want to eat this human. He just sent a blast…that killed the human instantly. His body fell to the ground with a thud. The air became heavy with the scent of burnt flesh. Very nice.
Buu turned his attention to the other human male. The one he was holding.
The man was trying to punch him.
This human was disgusting, even more so than normal…he smelled funny.
Buu wrinkled his nose in distaste. However he didn’t want to kill him yet.
So instead he pulled a piece of himself out and ‘glued’ the man to the wall.
Buu turned toward the woman.
Buu blinked in confusion. Where did she go?
Buu looked around. Humans just don’t disappear.
Suddenly Buu felt something attach to his middle. His face cringed and he closed his eyes tightly. Someone had gotten though his defense…he expected to be blown to bits now. Despite how he acted when it happened he didn’t particularly like being blown up.
When nothing happened Buu opened his eyes and looked down.
He was extremely surprised to see the girl.
Her arms were wrapped tightly around his waist and she was crying.
Buu: Uh?
Ok this was weird. In his life he had seen millions of women crying…but usually they were running not attaching themselves to his middle.
Girl: Thank you mister. Thank you so much. (sob)
The girl was thanking him?
Almost gently…for he didn’t want to hurt her (yet) Buu pried her arms from around his waist. He stared down frowning.
She was such a tiny human. She hardly reached his middle. She had light brown hair and was sort of pretty. Buu suspected her prettiness had something to do with what was going on. She was also young…she looked like she was barely a teenager.
The girl rubbed her red eyes and looked up at him.
Buu noticed uncomfortably that she had no fear of him…in fact she looked at him like she was her hero. Which now that he thought about it…he was.
The girl shifted as he continued to stare at her without talking. Didn’t this stupid human know that she probably wasn’t going to live another hour?
Girl: My name is Alysa. Thank you for saving me.
At that moment the man stuck to the wall became to move.
The girl gasped and ducked behind Buu.
Buu turned his head completely around in surprise at her. Her energy was radiating hate at such a level that it made him envious.
Suddenly a thought entered Buu’s mind.
He remembered when he thought it might be fun to watch a human kill human…well it might be more fun for a human to watch him. And not just innocent bystander watching either. Maybe she would help him even. That sounded like fun.
For the first time Buu spoke to her. With such hate she should have wonderful ideas. He only hoped she didn’t chicken out. Most humans had weak stomachs for the real fun.
Buu: What should we do with him?
The girl glanced at him uncertainly. She wasn’t sure what he meant.
Buu: Nothing to drastic. Don’t want to kill him…right away.
Alysa: What I don’t understand?
Buu: Revenge.
Alysa: Revenge…
To illustrate his point Buu showcased one finger. With just tiny bit of ki he made the tip red-hot. The end glowed white and little airwaves danced in the air. The girl’s mouth formed a small oh. Buu smiled evilly. Individual torture was just as fun as mass homicide.
He touched the man. You could actually hear the flesh sizzle.
The man screamed…or tried to. Buu used his energy to force the man’s mouth shut.
He didn’t want anyone else to know they were back here. This was for him and the girl only.
Buu lifted his finger when he started to feel the flesh crisp and blister around it.
The smell was wonderful…and lot better than the man’s normal smell.
A single tiny stream of smoke lifted from the man’s chest.
The wound itself was terrible. A huge ragged burnt mark that reached all the way into the muscles. The outer rings were totally black and already peeling. The inside the wound was an angry red and bloodless white. Only a little blood oozed from the wound because the heat had cauterized most of the vessels.
The man withered in agony. His silent screams echoing though the darkness.
Buu glanced toward the girl and frowned. She looked like she was going to be sick. That wasn’t good. He really wanted her to enjoy this with him.
He decided that maybe a mind game might make her more likely to help him. He better remind her of what the man was doing.
Buu: What was that he was doing to you? I don’t understand?
The girl stiffened and her face consorted interestedly.
Alysa: They…they…Oh Kami!
The girl started crying again. Buu frowned; he didn’t want her to cry. He wanted her to enjoy this like him. Perhaps he had taken the wrong route in persuading her.
She seemed fragile, even as humans go.
Buu: don’t you want him to pay? Pay for your pain? Pain for Pain sounds fun doesn’t it?
The girl wiped her eyes again.
Buu could see her fear. Strange her fear wasn’t because of him. There was something else there that she was afraid of.
Buu: You’re afraid, why. I’ve decided not to kill you.
The girl swallowed hard. Her eyes were very wide.
Alysa: you were going to kill me?
Buu: I was going to kill this whole city. I’ve changed my mind.
Alysa: You’re…Majin Buu aren’t you?
The girl looked back at the man then to Buu. Fresh tears sprung from her eyes, but Buu could sense her all consuming hatred of the man. She was fighting within herself. Not unlike he did sometimes. Buu wondered briefly who would win. If the side he wanted did…well time to have fun. If the other side won, to bad…for her and this city.
Alysa: Can you…?
She stopped…her small frame was trembling. Buu smiled she was going to tell him something fun.
Alysa: Break his fingers!
The girl cringed as if that was a bad thing. She started sobbing uncontrollably into her hands.
Well Buu considered…Hercule thought killing was bad. All humans must think alike.
Buu wondered if he could change a human to like killing. He knew there were some that did out there. The man that hurt Bee and Hercule was like that.
He wondered if he could make this girl like killing.
Sounded like fun…and time consuming. It would take at least a day surely. It would be a hard challenge, just the way he liked it. She was weak and apparently had a weak stomach.
Buu smiled.
Buu: Of course.
Buu reached out and grabbed the mans hand. With slow and deliberate movements he started to break the mans fingers.
His screams were still silent, but Buu could feel his body trembling as it was being wracked in pain and horror.
Buu glanced at the girl. He didn’t think it possible but her eyes had gotten wider. She also looked kind of green. He didn’t know humans could change color.
Buu snapped the last figure. He felt bones crunch like breaking a candy cane (!) and a sound not unlike breaking a large twig snap.
Buu felt laughter bubbling up.
Buu: How do you like? Fun?
Buu motioned for the girl to come closer.
She did but very slowly. She was extremely wary of him now that she knew who he was. He kneeled down beside her.
One thing Buu learned from fat Buu was that when someone thought you were their friend they would do anything for you. He had already saved her…now all he had to do was convince her this was fun. Convince her that this human deserved what he was getting.
Buu whispered into her ear.
Buu: That man think about what he was going to do? Do you think you were the first, or the last? Do you think he deserves to live? Why not enjoy his suffering…it mirrors yours. He caused your pain, now help cause his.
The girl trembled violently under Buu’s gaze. She was considering what he was saying. That was good. He sensed that in her confusion she was latching onto what he said. His confidence and belief were like a life vest for someone drowning in their own emotions.
Buu smiled again…he was getting good at judging human emotion.
This was as fun as killing…messing with someone’s mind.
Buu: I can kill him now…or I could kill him later, after we have our fun.
Alysa: you keep saying we, why?
Buu shrugged surprised that she was showing some intelligence.
Buu: I thought you might like getting revenge. I could kill this city in a blink of an eye. I thought it might be more fun to do it slower. Surely…Alysa…you know people that deserve to die. You have the power now to choose their fate.
Alysa: I do…?
She seemed to like that idea. Payback was a bitch.
Buu: Though me you do.
Buu stood up and turned toward the man on the wall.
He was staring at him with revulsion in his eyes. His mouth opened and closed in silent screams.
Buu: This man lives or dies at you command. This city can die at your wish. Alysa…come on lets have fun?
He placed one huge hand on her slim shoulder. She startled slightly at his touch.
He could tell she was having trouble taking this all in.
Alysa: His eyes…I hate his eyes.
Buu nodded solemnly.
She was coming along nicely. Much easier than he thought it would be. This girl was like puddy in his hands. A body and mind easily formed with the right words.
Talk…that’s all this planet did.
Still it would only get harder. She hated this man because of what he was doing to her earlier. It would be harder to make her crave the death of people she didn’t know.
Buu: Should I rip them out…or burn them, stab them, crush them in his head?
Buu watched the man’s face as he suggested ways to destroy his eyes. Such fear…it was wonderful. It radiated off the man, he could actually taste it. Like a fine wine.
Hmmm that might be something to turn him into. Buu hadn’t had wine in forever.
Alysa: I don’t…know…
She was watching the man too. Something akeen to triumphed was in her face. Yes…she liked the man being in pain.
Buu shrugged and reached toward the mans head. He screamed and jerked back, however the pink goo held him fast. He couldn’t get away from the hand approaching his face.
Buu stopped his fingers mere centimeters from the mans head.
He had planned on simply ramming his fingers in and then scooping out his eyeballs. However his fingers were too big. There was no way to do that without killing the man.
He would have to do this another way.
Looking around Buu quickly found an object that would work perfectly.
Using his ki he lifted the object.
He let it drift in front of the girl. Her eyes were once again wide as she realized what this thing was for.
Buu: do you want to do it?
She shook her head no. Once again she looked slightly greenish. Buu frowned the green color must mean she was grossed out.
He shrugged. He hadn’t really expected her to want to do it.
Buu opened his hand and the object floated to it.
He lifted it up and brandished it to the man. In his hand was a large piece of glass.
It must have come from a window or something. It was several inches long, with the end tapering to a very sharp point. Near the end a piece of the point had been broken off. It created a nook that whatever it pierced would get caught in, making it easier to pull out. That was what made this object perfect. It was as effective as a fishhook.
Buu rubbed his finger alone an edge. The glass cut into him easily. He smiled as the wound closed without a trace that it was there.
The man was struggling harder now. His legs kicked weakly against the wall. His arms tried to move and his body strained against the goo.
Reaching out again Buu grabbed the man’s forehead. He pressed his head against the wall. He needed the man to be still.
The man trembled in terror as Buu lifted the glass to his eye.
Instinctively the man closed his eyelid tightly. Buu growled slightly annoyed.
With the hand holding his head he took his thumb and forced the mans eyelid open.
With a quick motion Buu pierced the man’s eye. He took the point right though the pupil. The glass sliced easily though the lens. Buu could feel the different layers of his eye from the different handling and feel of the glass. Blood and a clear liquid squirted out. Buu half expected the eye to collapse on itself thus making it not worth yanking out. However the eye held its shape.
Buu could hear a sharp gasp from the girl behind him.
Other than that the silence was eerie
Taking care not to rupture the eye Buu pulled back on the glass.
The eye caught against the nook. For a moment it didn’t move, held in by muscles and other bodily things. Then with a wet sucking noise the eyeball popped out.
Buu smiled and turned toward the girl. He held out the glass for her to see better. The eye was disgusting. Red strings of nerves and blood vessels hung limply off the back.
Carefully Buu placed two fingers on either side of the eye and slide it off the point.
Buu: Open your eyes…I’m sorry eye.
He laughed evilly as the man hung limply against the wall. He had passed out for a moment but was now awake again. He opened his eyes…one side was glazed over from the pain. The other was a gory bloodied hole.
Without another word Buu dropped the eye.
Both man and girl gasped.
Buu: go ahead…step on it.
The girl was crying again. Buu could feel her guilt and horror at what was happening.
Buu knelt again.
He would try again to make her enjoy this. However his patience was wearing thin. If didn’t work soon he would just kill her. He placed both hands on her shoulders and forced her to look at him.
Buu: Why don’t you enjoy this?
It was a simple question.
Alysa: I don’t (sob) what to hurt him. Its wrong.
Buu: Why…
Alysa: It just is!
Buu: What its wrong to make this man suffer for what he did? If he hadn’t been doing anything wrong he would have died easily with everyone else when I destroyed this city.
Buu was grasping at straws. If he could make her not feel guilty or that this was wrong and in fact right then he would be home free.
Alysa: This is wrong!!
Buu: FINE!
The girl gasped and backed up at his angry voice.
Buu stepped back and yanked the man from the wall. He dropped him.
The man struggled and slowly rose to his feet.
Buu: If this is so wrong then so was saving you. I’ll leave you two alone.
Buu rose into the air and disappeared. Well really he had only moved behind them, but to them he disappeared.
He watched amused as the man slowly rose to his feet. He was bleeding badly from his wounds. Despite the pain the wounds weren’t live threatening and didn’t compromise his mobility too much.
Man: Bitch…I’ll kill you for giving that monster ideas!!
He charged…the girl screamed again.
However the man didn’t make it. Buu had once again stopped him.
He smiled evilly. Alysa trembled in pure fright.
Buu: See…he was going to hurt you. If you don’t kill then you get killed. Its as simply as that.
The girl looked uncertain.
Buu: I’ll put this way, because I’m sick of playing around. You have fun with me killing, or I kill this whole city with you in it!!
Alysa blinked at his ultimatum. Buu could almost hear the words going though her head.
It was funny really. Humans were so predicable.
Alysa looked up and with a deliberate movement stomped heavily on the eye. The jelly from the eye squished out from beneath her shoe.
Buu smiled then put his hand once again on the mans head. This time however he squeezed. The mans skull cracked like a nut!
Brains, bone and hair splattered against the walls of the alleys with amazing force. What was left of the mans head was a bloodied mess of pulverize brain matter, gristle and veins. Blood was everywhere, it poured in a great stream from his head. For a moment Buu held on to him. The mans eyes were wide and his mouth hung open twitching.
Buu dropped the mans body which was still quivering in its death woes.
Buu took a great whiff or air, smelling the wonderful smell of blood.
As always the copperish smell and taste made him yearn for more. He looked at his hand.
Blood the mans blood dripped from it. The blood was warm and sticky.
Buu chuckled.
That was fun.
He looked up at Alysa. She was crying again.
He had ultimately failed to get her to like to kill…even this man.
He had heard somewhere that humans considered first kills hard. They got easier each time…or something like that.
The day was still young. They had all the time in the world.
