Tears.

Duo rolled over and dropped his arm over the place his lover should have been. Her side of the bed was empty and cold. He opened his eyes and looked around the dark room. He had hoped coming to Earth and to Relena's would cheer her up, but he felt like it had made her worse. She had been so melancoholy on L2. He sat up and crawled to the end of the bed. He sat down and thought about the events of the evening.
FLASHBACK;
They had arrived early and Relena had greeted them at the door . As Relena let them in she explained to them that Heero was gone and she just wanted someone to visit her. Heero had suggested she call them. They had enjoy the evening together and when it was over, Hilde excused her self and left the room.

Duo frowned and followed her. He had caught up with her and asked what was wrong. She had smiled at him and said nothing. just that she had a killer headache and she was going to go to bed. She had leaned up and kissed him, lightly and went to their room. He wished he could help her, but until she opened up to him , he couldn't do a thing. As she walked away he said to her ",I love you, Hilde."

She had turned back to him and smiled, a tear trickled down her cheek. "I love you, too, Duo. Good night, Visit with Relena."

He had gone back to the living room, and saw the room was empty. He frowned, as he looked around. "Relena?"

He jumped when she answered him from behind. "I�m here, Duo."

She came up to him and handed him a package. "Here's the item you requested. I hope it's to your liking."

"No, Relena, I hope it's to Hilde's liking." He looked at the item in his hands. "She's been so sad lately."

"It will be, Duo. It's from you. She loves you, Duo."

"Lately, I'm not so sure." He sighed, "I know she loves me, Relena. I just don't know what to do to make her happy again. " He looked at the package. "I�m sure a gift wouldn't do it. Maybe she' s tired of me and wants to move on."

Relena put her hand on Duo's, "That's not true at all and you know it. We all get melancholy from time to time and we can't tell why, cause we just don't know. Just stay with her, support her and she will be back to herself in no time!"

He looked at Relena, "I hope you're right. I miss my happy Hilde."
END FLASHBACK:

He slid off the bed and stood, looking around the room again. A bit of moonlight filtered in though the patio door. That's when he noticed it was opened a bit. A slight breeze moved the curtain a little bit. He walked over to the door and slid it open quietly.

He stepped out onto the cold concrete. It had been hot during the day, but now it felt cold and damp against his feet .He saw her sitting in the porch swing, slowly moving back and forth with the tips of her toes.

"Babe?"

She looked over at him, her face cast in shadows. She shifted a bit on the swing, making it stop moving, and motioned for him to come to her. He padded over to her and slid into the blanket she held open for him. He slipped into the open opening and sat down. She snuggled up next to him, sliding her arm around his waist. She laid her head on his chest.

He slid his arm around her shoulders and pulled her closer. He was about to say something, but she raised her fingers to his lips.

"Just listen, Duo."

He closed his eyes and listened to the night sounds. He could here the crickets chirping, the water tinkling and splashing in the garden, and the breeze caressing the pine needles. After a few moments, Hilde spoke.

"I'm sorry I've been such a pain , Duo. I just don't know what was wrong. Maybe it has been everything on L2, the business, maybe it's a little you, and a little me." She paused, Duo felt the fear in his heart.. "But, I�m so glad we came here. " She sighed, again, "It brought every thing into perspective for me."

She looked up at him, then shifted , getting to her knees. " I Know now what I need and where I need to be."

She looked into his face and placed her hands on his shoulders. Duo gulped and asked, "Where is that, babe?"

"Right here, right now. Here in your arms, back on L2, working on the business, making our future. You are my future, Duo. I love you so very much." She slid her arms around him and kissed his lips.

He half opened his mouth as she kissed him, allowing her tongue to enter . Their tongues battled for dominance in his mouth. The kiss became deeper and more passionate.

As soon as they broke the kiss, Duo pulled her naked body closer to him. The blanket slipped from her shoulders and pooled at her knees.

"I love you, Hilde."

She nuzzled his neck, placing small kisses everywhere. "I love you, too, Duo." She whispered, softly.

He leaned back, pulling her to his chest. Her breasts crushed against him. She continued to kiss his neck and shoulders. He sat up.

"We're not doing this here."

"Huh?"

He slipped one arm under her knees and the other under her shoulders. He stood and carried her into the bed room. She had wrapped her arms around his neck, and laid her head on his shoulder.

He laid her on the bed with reverence, almost like she was made of glass. He laid next to her and started to slide his hands over her body. Her skin was cool from being outside.

"You need to warm up, Hilde." He whispered, huskily.

"So, warm me up." She said, brazenly.

He grinned at her as one of his hands slid across her breast, pitching the hard erect nipple. She gasped, as he leaned down and kissed her neck. "Oh, I will. I will."

He kissed her neck then down toward her breast. His hands work the soft skin causing Hilde to moan in pleasure at his rough touch. As his hand left her breasts , his mouth took their place. He suckled in the nipple pulling it, nipping it and licking it. Hilde moaned again as his hands slid down farther. She was starting wiggle and move slightly under his hands. He could feel her fingers reach for him.

"Un uh. You first, babe."

She dropped her hand to the bed as his hand slid to her mound and reached inside her folds. He slid his finger in slowly, rubbing the sensitive area, gently. She arched her back a bit as he slip his finger in deeper. Soon it was combined with another. He rubbed her clit, gently but vigorously. She arched her back farther causing him to slide in deeper. He abruptly pulled his fingers out. Before she could protest, she felt his tongue enter her and lap against her already aroused center. She cried out his name as he made her come into his mouth.

He raised his head and looked up at her. His fingers slipped in side her again and began to work her all over again.

"Oh, Duo! " She moaned in protest, as he drove almost to the brink again.

He grabbed her hand and slid her fingers into herself, pushing them in and out. He pulled them out and dragged them across her hard ,erect nipples, causing the dampness to elicit a gasp from her. He took her other hand and slid it to his shaft. He let her grasp him and slide her fingers along it. He continued to work his fingers into her and she rubbed his shaft up and down. He placed her free hand on her breast and made her rub her own breast. He then placed his free hand on top of her other breast and rubbed it. She couldn't believe t he sensations she was feeling, it was heavenly! She gasped as he pulled away.

"Duo?"

"Just a minute, babe." He whispered as he moved between her legs. She felt is shaft at her entrance. She sighed as he pushed into her, exciting her already excited body more. He stopped when he had filled her. He pulled out, then pushed back in. She gripped his shoulders and wrapped her legs around his thighs, pulling him back inside of her, causing him to go in deeper. She gasped.

"Hilde?"

"Go, Duo! Faster and harder!"

He pumped in and out until he heard her scream his name ,and he spilled his seed into her. He dropped down to his elbows and looked into her face. She gazed back at him, her arms coming up around his neck, pulling him closer to her. He leaned in and kissed her.

"Don't fall a sleep yet, Hilde. I have something for you." He slipped from the bed and went to the dresser and picked up the package. "I hope you like it. " He said as he handed it to her.

She sat up and tore open the packaging. In side the box was a heart-shaped locket on a silver chain. Along with that was another charm in the shape of a key.

"Oh, Duo! It's beautiful!"

He took it form her hands and held it up. "This represents my heart " He said pointing to the locket, "And this is the key to my heart." He looked at her. "You hold both of them Hilde."

He started to hand them back, but she shook her head. "Put it on me."

He reached around and clasped it around her neck. She looked down at the locket and key, then back at Duo. She blinked as tears ran down her cheeks.

"Tears, again?" Duo asked.

"She smiled at him and leaned into his face. Thank you, Duo. This is wonderful and these are tears of happiness. I don't know how I could not be happy when I have someone like you! " She wrapped her arms around him and kissed him soundly on he lips. "I love you!"

He grinned at her and pulled her into his arms. They snuggled down under the blankets and laid wrapped up in each others arms. She sighed and closed her eyes. He laid back and listened to her soft breathing until he to succumbed to sleep, too.
