Frosen Hearts Burn

The flames grow as my heart urns for your touch. The fire begins to feel like ice as the weary sun slides down over the horison, and you have yet to return. I feel the burn of heart-break as the moon smiles down on me, oblivios to the tragedy being wroght out before it.
You have lied to me, saying you would return before the sun sets. Alas, time passes and people move, as do I, to a new world. It grows red then goes dark.
You stumble apon my body, my heart diplayed to all the world, and to you, my love. A pool of crimson paint changes my blonde locks red, and taints my pale skin pink. The blue dress I wore in ruins at your feet as it begins to rain. You stand tall above me crying as the sky finally understands the tragedy at its wake.

I had thought, my love, you had betrayed me, but you had only tried to find the perfect rose to show your love for all it is worth.
