Disclaimer:
I do not own Gundam Wing/AC, nor any of the characters from it. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
Light and Dark
Warning: AU, AU, AU. Yaoi. Maybe a bit of violence. Mostly a sappy love story.
Disclaimer: I could draw them for you ... I wouldn\'t get any money for it, though. More\'s the pity!

Prologue
In the beginning was the Void, the nothing that was everything, and it knew not that it knew all. There was no light, no dark, no good, no evil; and in this fulfilled emptiness life did not live. In a split second eternity of wanting to experience the reality of nothing, a glimmer of light caused a shadow to fall.
Light and Dark.
Light and Dark coexisted, neither overpowering the other, and they shared what they could of existance. And the Void was filled with Light and drowned in Dark. After a momentary eternity, Light and Dark became unsatisfied that they were the lone Creations of the Void, and set about to creating their own. Earth was formed and placed within the Void. Earth was watched over in turns by Light and Dark, though Earth felt a strange hollowness in its existence. Light and Dark created Water as a companion and set it to flow across the face of Earth and fill the empty places. Earth and Water got along well, though both were yet unfulfilled. Air and Fire were formed, and the Void shrank again.
Light and Dark were content with the creations they deemed their children, yet there was a continual call from the Void that the entirety of Creation and Life was yet trapped in the continual knowledge of nothingness. Calling together the Elements, Light and Dark set about joining all of their knowledge to create that which was not. Laughter rang out in the destruction of the Void (for Destruction must follow Creation and Death, Life), and Earth bloomed with flora while Air and Water teemed with creatures, all carrying a spark of Fire deep within. Then appeared a new Creation, yet unnamed, that was neither Light nor Dark, good nor evil, and innundated with the power of the youngest, Spirit. And Spirit named its children Humans, and made them of Earth to be sustained by Water and Air and protected and warmed by Fire - though none of the physical Elements ruled or understood these Humans.
Light and Dark watched over their Children in an ever-circling turn until Light looked out and felt a tugging desire to know more of the Humans who were the last Creation to fill the Void and the only Creation with Experience - for Light simply Existed. So Light left its home to become mortal, leaving behind all of its memories.
Dark, always watching Light, saw this and, wondering at what might entice Light to be something other than what it was, followed Light to Earth and allowed itself to be born Human, though Dark kept its memory and called their four physical children - for Spirit was ever incarnating - to care for Creation in their absence. Sometime later, the Elementals, ever curious and slightly concerned, each summoned to them a devout Human and fused bits of their beings into the Human so that they might track down their missing parents.

A small hand reached up to rub knuckles over scrunched up eyes that didn\'t want to open. The blond head turned to bury a face into the fresh linen pillow. Images were still floating across the inside of the closed eyelids, and a small movement froze in mid-stretch when a new sensation was noticed in the world. The body shot out of bed, a smile stretching across the face.
\"They\'ve come!\" Excitement made the voice breathy as legs kicked at the sheets. Scrambling out of the bed, slinging a full pack over a slim shoulder, and dashing out the door, the small figure promptly crashed into someone.
\"Initiate!\" a startled voice yelped as both figures fell to the floor. \"What are you doing, rampaging through the halls? Don\'t you know better?\" The priest managed to straighten his gold-trimmed, white robes and attempted to give the still grinning Initiate a glare. He failed miserably once he saw the boy\'s guileless, shining blue eyes.
\"So sorry, Father,\" he said, standing and offering the priest a hand. \"They\'ve finally come!\" he chirped, not bothering to make any attempts to straighten shirt or hair. The Father finally noticed the lack of Initiate\'s robe and raised an eyebrow. Before the man could ask, however, the boy was headed out the main entrance, fading into the desert like a mirage, leaving behind the lingering comment \"I have no idea who Called, but I\'ve gotta go!\"

So, how\'s it started? It\'ll be ... less mystical and oh-ah and ... mysterious after you finally realize who everyone is. It\'s mostly a travelling romance, so don\'t worry about me doing too much more on any religious fronts. ~REVIEW~
