Chapter one:\"Loves First Desent\"
Hey, Goten,\" a young, mild-mannered child said.
\" Oh hey, Trunks-kun,\" the slightly younger one said pulling up a hand to wave.
\"How are you today?\" Trunks asked, waving back and walking up to Goten.
\" I’m fine... Mom is still making me do my homework though.... for one second I\'d like some peace and quiet. Brother is still nice, yet I think its because Mom wont let him see his ‘girlfriend’,\" he smiled causing Trunks to as well \"But anyway I\'m bored as crap all the time and I need a vacation. .\" the younger one said talking a seat. Trunks soon followed..
\"What about you?\"
\" Same old, same old; Dad irritating me to the breaking point. Mom pushing me to do my homework, just as your mom is, and Bra getting on my nerves..\" Trunks replied, stopping to sigh.
\"She seems to be a natural, huh?\" Goten asked Trunks as soon as he stopped.
\" Heh, yep I was about to say that as well,\" Trunks told him and smiled.
\"Hey Goten you said that you needed a vacation, right?\"
\"Yes, Trunks I did\"
\"Well, I sorta, kinda want someone around that’s my age.. You want to see if your parents will let you stay a few days?\"
\" Yeah sure Trunks, just one question.\" Goten replied.
\"Hmm?\"
\"Just why are you lonely?\"
\"Oh, that..,\" Trunks said and laughed nervously. \"Well Bra always has one of her friends over... and Mom is in the lab, Dad is gods knows where.. And I\'m just lonely.. I need a friend now and again you know?\"
\"Yeah.. I know what you mean..... I get lonely sometimes also..,\" Goten said scooting a little closer to Trunks.
\"Huh? You do? But you have a brother and a ‘good-natured’ father, \" Trunks said completely oblivious to the fact that Goten was a little bit closer than he usually cared to be.
\"Yeah.. but my brother is always gone... my dad just isn’t enough company to keep me entertained...,.\" Goten said lowering his head looking at the ground.
\"Okay.. I get it a little bit....., \" Trunks said finally noticing how close Goten was for the first time and him thinking he shared the feelings he has for his best friend compelled him to move the small amount of space left so they were now touching side-by-side.
Goten noticed this too, moving his hand slowly to the other to see how he would react.. Surprised when the other took his hand in the others grip. He looked at the others face smiling.
\"Um Trunks.. I have to say something....,\" The younger one said looking Trunks in the face.
\"What is it?\" The older Demi-Sayian said squeezing his best friends hand lightly.
\"Umm..,\" Goten began his face lighting up a bit, yet blushing at the same time. \" I-I love you.\"
Trunks face became bright red in an instant, \" G-Goten, You love me?\"
Goten just nodded a yes.
Trunks just stared seriously at Goten, \" Goten Son, are you sure.... love isn’t a simple subject... like fighting... for instance... you can\'t just fight.... you have to be strong... in loves case.. you can\'t just choose someone to love... you have to choose someone to love you back. That can love you back.... who will take care of you... some one.. special..-\"
\"In other words... someone like you,\" Goten said tilting his head to the side.
The older Demi-Sayian’s eye’s widened as the realization that he fit in all of the categories that was just listed, \" Goten... y-your right...\"
\"One question Trunks... will you love me back?\"
The lavender haired prince looked over at his best friend and said two simple words \"Why not?\"
