~chapter one: if al could understand~
[diary version]
Dear Diary,
I can\'t get the image out of my mind. How can Al do this! He acts like it\'s not obvious...or isn\'t it? I can\'t remember what it feels like to live a normal day. How can I? Would anyone consider me normal?
It\'s been a week since Al returned to his body. I was so excited, and he has to go and get scraped up. Climbing trees...silly boy.
But still, I can\'t stop reliving the day I sacrificed almost my life for him. It was after the transmutation, after my automail limbs attatched. It was in the battlefield, and I had to choose Scar killing me, or him stabbing Al\'s mark attatching his soul to the armor. I chose myself, and just as he went to do it... thank God, if there is such, that Mustang cares for me. Shooting Scar any second later, and I would not be writing this.
And, I even believe, that maybe, one day...
Al may understand.
