Kai shut his eyes tightly as his head tilted back into the pillow. A low groan rumbled in his throat as it laced itself with deep but short and raspy breaths. His fingers clutched at the sheets beneath their sweaty bodies and the other lightly pulled on the raven strands tangled around every digit.
