All the time in the world

‘This
movie bites.’  Thought
Duo. ‘Oh well, at least I’m here
with Heero.’ He chanced looking at the former Wing Pilot before continuing
to eat his and Heero’s popcorn. Wufei had been with them earlier but had left
some time during the beginning of the movie…an hour ago. What was the point of
watching a war movie when the war just ended? Maybe if he was lucky, Duo could
slip out during one of the battles.

“Duo, pass the tea.” Heero
whispered quietly.

“I don’t have it.” Duo answered subconsciously.
Heero reached across him and grabbed Duo’s soda.

“Heero, that’s mine.” A slight
unnoticeable glint came to Heero’s eyes as he took a long drink of Duo’s pop.
He put it back in the cup holder and went back to eating the popcorn, which Duo
had somehow managed to replace with gummy bears. Duo watched him for a few
seconds before Heero tilted his head to the side and caught Duo’s gaze from the
corner of his eye.

“Duo…the movie has been over for
the past fifteen minutes. When you’ve finished staring at me, I think we can
leave.” Duo tried hard not to blush from being caught, but he could already
feel his face heating up. He seemed to be staring at Heero a lot more lately
and he was lucky he wasn’t caught half the time. He looked away quickly and
walked out to the front of the theater.

“So, where did Justice-boy head off
to?” He asked, trying to divert the attention from himself.

“He got a phone call.”

“I didn’t hear it ringing.”

“It was on vibrate.”

“How do you know?” …Wait, maybe Duo
didn’t want to know.

“He pulled it out and looked at it
before leaving.” Heero replied monotone.

“Oh.” Duo couldn’t believe where
his thoughts had been trying to take that, or how lucky Wufei was.

They started walking back to their
house. The reason it was their house
was that they live in the same house with Wufei. Quatre had insisted that the
other pilots stay close to each other. Everyone was okay with that idea, but
they didn’t realize that they would be living together.

Quatre and Trowa
moved out of the house three months ago when they told everyone that they were
a couple. No surprise there, so that left the other three pilots with a five
room house…okay, so it was bigger than that, bordering on the size of a
mansion. The remaining three had decided to move their bedrooms to the same hall
so the house didn’t seem so empty all the time.

After they got back to the house
Duo ran through it to the living room. He slightly slowed down near the kitchen
to wave quickly at Wufei. Duo jumped on the sofa and started resting his eyes.
He would have gone to sleep but he was way too uncomfortable. By this time
Heero was just walking into the kitchen.

“Hey Wufei.”
Heero said as he took a seat at the island next to Wufei.

“Hi class=SpellE>Yuy. So, how was the movie?”

“It wasn’t even worth going.”

“Then I’m not sorry I left. The class=SpellE>Preventors called me and had me come in.” Wufei told him
with a slight smirk.

“What about?”

“Absolutely
nothing. They called me in to tell me that we’re going to need another
top class Preventor soon.” Wufei said looking bored.

“Interesting.
Anyways, it was a stupid movie.”

“Did Duo enjoy himself?”

“He did…until I took a drink of his
soda.” Both of them moved into the living room to look at what appeared to be a
sleeping Duo.

“You drank something with
artificial color and flavoring in it?” Wufei asked slightly shocked.

“I was thirsty. You should have
seen the look he was giving me after that.”

“What kind of look?” class=GramE>Asked Wufei as Heero disappeared up the stairs. He came back
moments later with one of his blankets and stood next to Wufei.

“Like I’d done something I shouldn’t
have.”

“Something you shouldn’t have? You
probably just shocked him a little.” Wufei said as Heero walked to the front of
the couch.

“Do you think we should leave him
down here?” Asked Heero as he stared down at Duo, not noticing the other boy
was still awake.

“Do you plan on carrying him to his
room?”

“No, but I don’t plan on waking him
either.”

“So, put the blanket on him and I’ll
get a pillow for our Shinagami.” Wufei quickly went
to his room and grabbed a pillow off his bed. He then came back and only had to
wait a few seconds for Heero to cup the back of Duo’s head and allow Wufei to
slip the pillow under Duo’s head. Both Heero and Wufei loosely tucked the
blanket around Duo.

“Did he really have to choose the
bedroom at the far end of the hall?” Questioned Heero.

“It doesn’t matter, I’m headed to
bed. ‘Night Yuy.”

“class=SpellE>Hn.”

“You heading
up too?”

“Yeah.”
Heero replied. He then followed Wufei up the stairs. Duo was now completely comfortable
and fell asleep to the smell and the thought of the other two pilots.
