Hi, hope you enjoy the story. This a crossover between dragon ball and yu yu hakusho two of my favorite anime series. It's my first story plus english is not my first language so please don't be too hard to me. Constructive advice accepted.

Chapter one: sadness
Gohan looked at his rival with an expression of pure anger, ready to make him disappear. Now that Cell had puked C18, he was finished. Well, he had been finished from the moment that had awaken his anger but now he was going to die. He had toyed with him enough. He advanced with slow steps while Cell keep on going backwards.
"No, I won't lose to you!!" exclaimed him, his features contracted with fear and impotence begining to swell. What was he doing? A strong, horrible laugh meet his ears. " I told you I won't lose to you. I have begun my self-destruction in some minutes you and this planet will be history!"
His eyes widened, how dare he trying that, he was going to destroy him before he could make so. " I won't do that if I was you if you touch me I'll explode". Gohan collapsed under another of his mocking laughs. Gods, how he hate him! Even in the point of dying he had to manage to hurt all of them. But he hated himself as well, he should have eliminated him before, like his father said. Now there was no hope. He will be killed and his friends, and his family and all the creatures in planet Earth. And all he could was stand still. But then he felt the energy of his father. He was there, by his side with a hand in the monster and a look of resolution. "Dad?" "You've done so well, Gohan I'm proud of you" he stated. Suddenly realising his purpose he screamed "Don't dad, please. Don't" "There's no other way, son. Listen, tell your mother not to be mad at me, please. Good bye!" "no, dad!" He said but he had already disappeared. Gohan collapsed again in the ground, crying. This was all his fault. He had the strength to finish with him in a second but no, he had to toy with him. He had to keep the combat long...and the result was Cell self-destructing and taking his father with him...this was all his angered and revenge-seeker actitude had provided him. Oh, he had been so stupid. He could sense the concern of his friends, he hadn't noticed starting to hit the ground. Whatever, he didn't deserve his concern. He was a killer! He felt even worse when Krilim came to try to make him better. From his point of view it may be a thing nobody could prevent but he knew the truth…and couldn’t look at him in the eyes or at anybody for what mattered. And then suddenly he felt an energy and Trunks fell –dead. He knew who this energy belonged to but…it was not possible. “Who had I beat…a…Trunks” he turned into the direction of the energy, no doubt it was Cell. The damn bastard had made it again! He felt his sadness being replaced one more time for his anger, his hate –and then Vegeta attacked him with all he had and he understood. He let him put himself in a danger for a while and rescued him in the last moment. Vegeta was angry, just as him, Cell had killed his son but the bastard was his to kill. This time nothing was going to be between him and his revenge. All will be decided in this final move.
He saw Cell adopt the position of Kamehameha and he did the same. They were finally going to put and end to the combat. He realised the boost of energy at the same time that his enemy, he was so close to kill him…one more effort. But then Cell energy augmented and he found himself barely able to content it. Damn, he was losing dominance. That couldn’t be. He didn’t appreciate himself very much at this point of his life, death could be a bliss but he just couldn’t let him live. At least he had to pay. Finally he manage to unite all his forces, putting all his anger and hate into the kamehameha, managing to repel Cell’s and to eliminate him completely –recovering system included. But the kamehameha didn’t stop there, it seem to push him into it. He tried to go backwards but it was too strong, he could feel himself going into it and could hear the shouting of Krilym and Piccolo. Then he realised he was not falling into the kamehameha but into some kind of very black and suspicious-looking hole. He crossed it and fell onto some rock, turning his head to see the hole disappear. What the hell had happened? Where was he? His first thought was to try to discover if he could return home but then he dismissed the idea. Now that anger was not clouding his mind he began to feel guilty and sad again. He was not worth of his friends, he decided. He was not so different of Cell. He had experienced the need of torturing and killing another living creature just for the sake of it. He had done more than protect somebody or something, he had been cruel, nasty. How will his friends ever be safe if he could reach those extremes when provoked? This place seemed to be deserted…here he will be no threat. Suddenly he felt his vision blur, he had put his last forces in that kamehameha…and he fainted.

Meanwhile in the Reikai Koenma was seated in his chair bored, questioning himself for centesimal time why someone as important as himself couldn’t have somebody else to do all this troubling paperwork. He was tired of putting stamps into those death reports so tired that not even George entering the office talking about some dimensional problem could excite him. Wait a moment –dimensional problem? “What did you said, George ?” “Somewhat has crossed from another dimension to ours and it’s now in the Makai according to our spies there it’s human-like” “Human-like? But it’s impossible! Even if there are weak points in the reality of a dimension the amount of power required to open them is…” he stopped and looked at his TV which at this point was showing Gohan unconscious. “We still don’t know much about him so it’s a good thing he ended up at the Makai and not at Ningenkai. What did my father said?” “He said that someone with so dangerous potential should remain in the Makai and that should be looked upon just in case that manages to break into Ningenkai” “Then we will respect his decision” George looked at him not believing his ears. “But Mr. Koenma what if he is not the cause of all this. He could be here by accident and then if we leave him at the Makai so wounded he’ll…” “Shup up, ogre. I finally managed to be re-accepted by my father. However, I’m not as reliable as before. What do you he will do if he discovers me questioning his decisions again, eh?” “ Errr, he will fire you for good?” “Exactly. So let’s expect this boy is not entirely innocent”.

In Makai…
Gohan opened a bit his eyes when he felt something beat him and discover two things. One, that his tail had returned and other that plants and some creatures where trying to eat him alive. He panicked, he was so wasted he couldn’t move but then he looked at the air and his eyes became fixed in the moon. Soon enough the transformation started and he turned into a huge and bestial monkey, effectively eliminating the creatures that were previously a menace. This not being enough, he started to push the rocks and to destroy the landscape and didn’t stop until the moon was gone a time in which he reverted.
Next morning he woke up late ‘ What a strange nightmare I had yesterday’ he thought still not opening the eyes ‘I dreamt that my father was killed because of a faux pass of mine and I ended up in a dessertic place and…’ He opened the eyes to a desolate view ‘Oh, it wasn’t really a dream…damn’. He stood up, it seemed that the transformation in oazaru had not just save him but healed him a bit as well. ‘Well…I have to plan how I am going to live here…’

How was it? Too descriptive? Too angsty? This is the first chapter and I needed to situate the character maybe there wasn’t many action but I promise the next will be better, less slow. Please review me.
