In the corner of the moon

His chestnut tresses sparkled of gold

His amethyst eyes I shall never forget

As I lay here sleeping in my room

With absolutely no regret

When he called my name

Such soft tenors

To make a nightingale red

Ebbing right into my dreams

The cellar door shuts
