Desert Angel

I must warn everyone; this is my first story that was not a prompt for a class. PLEASE be gentle. And please review. I don’t even mind flames. I think I may have written close to what it is they said in the tv version. In which case I apologize. I was just trying to follow the basic storyline to keep from getting too out of character. Mind you Quatre is an empath who responds to the emotions he feels in a similar fashion.

“Mission accepted.” He said in his usual monotone voice, and then detonated the gundam he stood upon without a second thought, and falls to the ground of the crater surrounded by a sea of red and black.
---------------------------------------------------
Hidden amongst the trees where the planes could not see him, duo noticed a flashing light and brought it up on screen. “That guy.” The young blonde stood on a cliff edge donning his usual attire, a white shirt, blue vest, tan pants, and desert goggles. He hopped in his gundam and walked it over to him. They were surrounded by the blonde’s usual arsenal of soldiers. “We’re in the same boat. With all those planes lookin’ out for us, there’s not much you guys can do either.” He remained in his gundam after lowering the petite blonde back to the cliff.
“A fairly large sandstorm is on the way. We’ll be crossing the desert then. Wanna join us?” the blonde was slightly pouting in a rather cute way… wait, did he just think the blonde was cute? Bad Duo, very bad Duo. “Yeah I do. I could use some sympathy now.” And a good blowjob, too… Bad Duo! “I need time to think, too.” The blonde said as he looked up at Deathscythe’s face. ‘That blonde has quite the gorgeous voice. I wonder how he sounds in bed.’ Duo had known for a few years about his preferences, he knows he doesn’t care about the gender and, in some cases looks, but he does prefer a person that doesn’t try to change Duo the more that person gets to know him. He had dumped his last boyfriend for that exact reason. ‘Too talkative my ass.’ He glowered.
Before Duo knew it, a sandstorm had hit, just as predicted. They journeyed out quite a ways before anyone spoke. “Radar hasn’t picked up anything.” He almost didn’t hear the others he was so focused on the blonde. “That doesn’t mean a damned thing. Spread out and look out for enemies.” As they began to wander away from the group, Duo thought he’d do a little attention seeking, “Crap! I can’t see a thing in this sandstorm! What could be in a place like this?” He was about to ask the blonde where the Hell they were going when the blonde spoke to answer his previous question, “There’s a base belonging to the middle east nation not associated with the earth sphere alliance or OZ. Why don’t we take refuge there?” “A base?” the soldiers that had wandered off called back in and received response from their leader, “No problems here.” “No problems here either.” “I understand” then he signaled for something.
A hangar began to open and Duo stared on in shocked surprise. “An underground base! Hey!” The young blonde began walking down into the hangar as the leader spoke to Duo, “This base belongs to the homeland of our maguanaque core.” He looked on in wonder “It’s your base?” he then followed the young blonde into the darkness. As he prepared to leave his suite he heard someone speak “good of you to come, Quatre.” He looked over to see his little blonde angel speaking to a portly man in a turban and blue clothes. “It’s been a while Commander Sadaul.” His little blond angel was always so polite it seemed. He must beg very nicely in bed… Bad Duo, down boy. The portly man started speaking again, “the missions have been tough since you got to earth, haven’t they?”
The blonde’s greenish-blue eyes had a slight shine as he spoke with such pride and admiration, “Well, I owe the Maguanaque core for all their help. I don’t know how to thank you.” The tall man next to Quatre puffed his chest out with pride as the portly man spoke, “It was their personal decision. They wanted to help you.” The tall man looked slightly downcast then.
“If only we had more strength, we would have been able to do a lot more damage to the OZ organization.” The portly man bristled in rage. “That troublesome Oz, using the colonies as a shield is irresponsible!” then it was Quatre’s turn to look downcast, “We’re to blame for failing to stop them.” Duo saw his opening and, as he left his mobile suit, he said, “Yeah we’re totally to blame.” Looking more upset about it than his little blonde angel, who looked at him with trust and sympathy. The portly man spoke once more earning the blonde’s attention and Duo’s glare, “Oh no, Quatre. No one is in a position to blame you. Here come this way.” As they turned to leave the tall man spoke, “Master Quatre we’ll get started with the mobile suit repairs.” Quatre turned back and spoke “Yeah thanks. Oh and Rashid…” before he could finish the tall man, Rashid, stated, “We will take care of both gundams Master Quatre.” He turned those eyes to Duo, “That’s ok, isn’t it?” Quatre was worried Duo didn’t want help, how sweet. “That’s just fine by me. I appreciate your help.” The blonde smiled brightly and Duo almost swooned.
“I haven’t introduced myself. My name is Quatre Raberba Winner.” Duo barely registered the thought before he started rambling. “Winner? You mean you’re the heir to the Winner family, one of the few influential and financial powers of the Arabic nation!? No wonder everybody looks up to you ‘round this place.” Duo gave Quatre and appraising glance as Quatre blushed. ‘He looks cute when he blushes… Do I really need to repeat myself?’ “Our family were all pacifists. I’ve disinherited myself to come out here.” Out here won’t be the only place you cum, he thought evilly. “Yeah? It takes all types, I guess. I’m Duo, Duo Maxwell. I might run and hide but I never tell a lie. That’s me in a nutshell.” They followed the portly man up the staircase. ‘What was his name again? Oh yeah, Sadaul.’ They approached a wooden door on the ceiling as it opened. “Are we all clear?” the tall man, Rashid, asked of one of the soldiers. “Yes.” They pulled themselves up and out through another door. “Wow! It’s a festival. Looks like a gas.” The core soldier looked to him, “They’re celebrating the return of us 49 maguanaque soldiers.” “Yeah?” he tuned as Rashid started to speak, “This nation has opposed the alliance military and has defended itself. The maguanaques are the frontline soldiers.” Duo looked on as a pair of pretty girls dragged some of the soldiers out amongst people, poultry, and sheep. “They are? You’re more like heroes than frontline soldiers.” Duo turned his attention once more to the beautiful blonde as he started to speak, “Everyone’s completely united now, that’s why our nation’s so positive.”
“So your county’s gonna stick it out to the end of the battle.” Quatre looked to Duo again as he asked “What’s your impression of us?” Duo thought of many things to respond to that question with, none of them appropriate for public ears. “There’s a lot I wanna talk to you about. You got some time, Quatre?” Duo thought he saw the pretty blonde look at him with slight lust, but the emotion was gone so fast Duo couldn’t tell. “Of course. I’ve got a few questions myself.” He led Duo into a building and up some stairs. Duo’s eyes were glued to the thin blonde’s backside the entire time. “Now we’re alone. We can talk in here.” There was that look again, gone too soon to tell what it was. “There’s five right?” he looked at Duo in slight confusion for a moment before realizing he was talking about the other pilots.
“That’s right, just the five of us that met in New Edwards.” Duo thought he saw jealousy for a moment. ‘He doesn’t like me talking about the other pilots.’ “I came here from the colonies.” He looked upin surprised wonder, “I did as well. The five of us are just the same, don’tcha think? Our mobile suits and missions, not to mention our objective to destroy OZ.” Duo saw the downcast look, “OZ destroyed peace in the colonies, this mission is revenge. I’ve been fighting under those orders.” Quatre’s greenish-blue eyes locked with Duo’s bluish-purple as Quatre smiled saying, “Same with me. That’s when I was given the mobile suit I use.”
Duo retured the smile with an all out grin. “Same here ‘Don’t worry ‘bout the colonies…’” “Destroy them first that’s your responsibility.” They finished together. “Just the same.” Duo continued. “Yeah, word for word.” Quatre looked much happier that he wasn’t alone. “I always fought believing I’d be better off dead rather than living under OZ’s rule.” His blonde angel looked on the verge of tears as he spoke, “Me too. But to kill yourself?” Duo felt his heart clench. “Heero ended up doin’ it. He took his life.” There it was again, that flash of jealousy. “The colonies have no intention of fighting. The colonies can’t be sacrificed. Your friend was the perfect role model.”
Duo looked thoughtful as he stated, “I never would have imagined that Heero had such a stubborn streak in him.” Quatre got a very downcast look again and said, “It was clear the colonies would be targeted once the gundams got going.” Duo couldn’t help staring at the pouting blonde, he was just so cute. “Hey, will you do me one more favor?” The petite boy looked at Duo questioningly. Duo pulled up all of his courage and said, “Willyouhavesexwithme?” he said it so fast the words mixed.
