Saiyan Blood: Addiction
SAIYAN BLOOD
Addiction
Author's note: Based on the Dragonball Z series by Akira Toriyama. This story is just for fun!
When reading this, lets all just pretend that Dragonball GT was never made and that Goku never left to go train Uub after the 28th World Martial Arts Tournament at the end of Dragonball Z. Its makes me sad that Goku keeps leaving his family like that...
...............................
A right hook to the face was all it took to to send Piccolo flying. Two years after Buu was destroyed and the Earth was restored, Goku still couldn't get used to the peaceful times. His Saiyan blood craved more fighting, more adventure, making him more on edge than usual. Distracted by these thoughts, Piccolo hit Goku square in the stomach with a round house kick that sent him flying. Goku gracefully recovered, doing a flip in midair, landing on his feet. Goku held up a hand to end the sparring, dusting his blue training gi off.
"You're not focused," Piccolo stated.
"Yeah, I know, It's just the whole peace thing. Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely glad my friends and family aren't in danger!” Goku sighed and looked at his dirty palms. “It must be my Saiyan blood..."
"Perhaps.." Piccolo started, but was cut short when a flaming meteor flashed across the sky, leaving a trail of smoke and fire in its wake.
"What the hell?!" Piccolo gasped. Goku stood in awe. The all too familiar feel of excitement and adrenaline coursed through Goku's veins, and his hair stood on the back of his neck.
"We definitely have to go check that out!" he exclaimed and flew off behind the smokey trail of the meteor with Piccolo shortly behind him.
Touching down next to the crater the meteor made in the valley of a tall mountain, Goku could feel the heat from 'meteor' on his face...but he also felt a weakening power level emanating from the it as well.
"Well, I'll be, its a space ship! A Saiyan pod even," Goku said. As far as he knew, Vegeta and himself were the last remaining Saiyans in the universe, not counting their half-blood children. More curious than afraid, Goku slid down the slope of the crater and stood outside of the Saiyan pod, but there was no sign of movement. Piccolo landed next to Goku and touched his shoulder.
"I know you aren't afraid, Goku, but please exercise caution," was all the Namek said. He removed his hand from Goku's shoulder, satisfied with a nod from the tall Saiyan, and took his place a few feet back.
Goku leaned forward to peer through the blue-tented glass of the scuffed pod and gasped. There was a woman in there! He immediately pried the door open, and chanced a look inside. The woman wasn't in Saiyan armor She was wearing flowing silk pants and a matching silk corset the deepest of purple, with a jeweled pin holding her dark brown hair high on her head, leaving the rest to flow in waves down past her right shoulder. A gold necklace bearing a strange emblem fell loosely around her neck. She was beaten, bleeding from various scrapes across her pale skin and her Saiyan tail was hanging limply to the floor. "She's Saiyan alright," Goku whispered, "but she's barely alive. The only thing I can think to do is take her to Capsule Corp. and see if Vegeta recognizes her at all." Piccolo nodded while Goku gingerly lifted the small female Saiyan from the pod.
"Be careful... I can't say for certain, but I feel there are going to be quite a few changes to life as we know it with her arrival."
"I know, isn't it great!" exclaimed Goku. He lived for adventure.
"EEEEEK!" Bulma screamed and threw her coffee all over the expensive rug under her kitchen table as Goku suddenly appeared in front of her.
"Oh sorry, Bulma, but this is sort of an emergency! This woman needs help, I don't know if she's going to make it or not!" Goku rushed off with the woman laying lightly in his hands, and gently laid her down on the sofa in the next room while Bulma rushed off for supplies.
She came back and examined her thoroughly with various instruments and took the time to dress her wounds. Goku stood and watched curiously until she was finished.
"She's stable, she's just unconscious probably from the crash landing... is...is she a Saiyan?" Bulma asked, lightly holding up her brown tail with her manicured hands.
"Appears so. I decided to bring her here in hopes that Vegeta may recognize her." Goku scratched his head.
"She's beautiful, and definitely isn't dressed like anything but royalty. If anyone knew who she was, it would definitely be Vegeta." she looked up at Goku and smiled.
They moved the Saiyan woman from the couch to a bed in one of the extra bedrooms of the massive house, where she continued to slumber while Goku sat quietly in a chair beside the bed. Goku couldn't help but be amazed. He had never seen a Saiyan woman before, and unlike his thought of horrifyingly scary barbarian women, this one seemed small, despite the underlying power he sensed from her. Bulma left Goku and the woman to look around for Vegeta, even though he had a habit of leaving without notifying anyone, so it wasn't surprising when he wasn't to be found anywhere at Capsule Corp. Goku's mind wandered to thoughts of his ex-wife, Chichi, who wasn't that much different in stature from this woman, but it was apparent this woman was not an earthling from the tingling power she emanated...was it her power he was feeling? Regardless, it left Goku's skin heated like he was standing a little too close to a fire.
Goku had cared for Chichi, even though he always felt like there was something missing during their marriage. She mothered his children and was a supportive and caring wife (even if a little nagging at times!) but everything felt mechanical, like they were playing house like little kids would. After Goku's life was restored during the Buu ordeal, things weren't the same. Goku had been gone for seven years prior to those battles because of his death, and when he was back, sure, everyone was happy to see him, but what ever feelings had been there between him and his wife had died, and they were both content to go their separate ways. Now she is just a child hood friend just like his relationship with Bulma.
"Kakarot! Wake up you idiot!"
Goku's eyes snapped open. He couldn't remember when he had fallen asleep. He rubbed his eyes and allowed them to focus, revealing the short Saiyan prince standing in front of him, his hands on his hips.
"Huh...?"
"Kakarot, where did you find this woman?" Vegeta demanded, staring down at the younger Saiyan with intense eyes.
"Ummm,"Goku yawned. "She crash landed in a Saiyan pod in the mountains. I brought her here hoping you would know who she was. I noticed she had a tail..."
Vegeta turned from Goku and gazed down at the Saiyan woman who was soundly sleeping on the bed in front of them. "This is the symbol of the Saiyan Elite on this necklace.” He lightly lifted the emblem charm on her neck and gently laid it back down on her chest. “Yes, I know her, very well in fact. I wasn't aware she was still alive,"Vegeta said softly. Goku watched as the Saiyan prince's eyes scanned the woman's body. A long lost lover perhaps? Not likely. Vegeta was just a boy when Planet Vegeta was destroyed.
"This is Princess Celria. She is indeed a Saiyan. I know this because she is my sister."
Goku gasped. "Really?! I didn't know you had a sister, Vegeta."
Vegeta turned quickly to Goku. "Of course not, fool. I assumed she was long gone, dead during the explosion of our planet. It would be senseless to bring up such trivial things about my past when its completely irrelevant to anything we have ever had to endure."
Goku stood gracefully from his chair, grace only the powerful possessed. "I'll leave you two then," and with that Goku quietly exited the room, leaving the Prince to watch over his long lost sibling while she slept. As soon as Goku shut the door behind him, the warm feeling instantly dulled, and with it, a tightening that was in his chest that he hadn't noticed, loosened. He sighed. He almost felt like something was missing. Was he actually starting to miss Chichi for the first time since their split? That puzzle piece that didn't fit, he decided, and shrugged it off . He plopped down in the sofa in the quiet living room. Bulma wasn't anywhere to be found. Goku decided he was going to stick around and see what this Saiyan woman was like when she finally did wake up. He definitely couldn't miss this opportunity when he blood craved this much adventure... and something else he couldn't put his finger on.
It was well into the darkness of night when Goku awoke suddenly from his slumber on the sofa to a voice in the darkness. Was it a voice? Goku wondered if he was dreaming. No, not a voice, he decided, it was a feeling, a sensation caressing his body in the stillness and a tightening in his chest. Goku felt the warmth spread across his body, settle firmly in his stomach, emanate more across his limbs and set fire to his loins. Goku gulped as sweat broke out across his body. He wondered if he was sick, and sat up on his hands on the sofa. Standing in the entrance to hall was a silhouette of the Saiyan princess, gazing at Goku.
"Kakarot..."she whispered. "I have felt like I have known you my entire life..." she trailed off and leaned heavily against the wall. Goku rushed to catch her before she completely slumped to the carpet, instantly feeling the warmth circulate through his body when he touched her. He gasped and almost dropped her as the strength left his knees. He had never felt anything like this before, and he decided right then and there and he was not going to mention this to Vegeta, especially since Goku didn't fully understand it himself. He gently laid her back on the bed where she had risen, and pulled the blanket over her unconscious body. He quietly walked back to the living room to the sofa, a knot firmly planted in his stomach. The heat had faded from his body, but not completely, his erection was almost painful. He decided it was best to leave until he figured out what his problem was and swiftly exited past the curtains of an open window, headed for Kame house. The air was cool against his over-heated skin, and the stars stretched across the sky all the way to the horizon, dancing to unheard songs in the absence of the moon. Even though Goku was speeding steadily away from Capsule Corp. toward the ocean, the heat wasn't completely leaving. He definitely couldn't stay there. He would get word on how the Saiyan princess was doing later, but right now he didn't completely feel like himself. That woman was like some sort of drug to him, and as well as he knew his body, it was acting very strange. He needed to get a grip.
Goku sat in a beach chair in front of Kame house, watching the dolphins play in the glittering water through his sunglasses. Master Roshi and Krillin also shared his company, although Roshi was preoccupied with a book and Krillin was playing with his daughter, Marron, in the surf. Goku shared the house with the others since Chichi and Goku had went their separate ways. He really couldn't see himself living anywhere else. The thought of living with Vegeta and Bulma brought a chuckle out of him, then he thought of that mysterious woman.
"Hey Krillin, can I ask you something in confidence," he asked the short man.
"Sure, bro, what's bugging you? You've seemed kind of off all this morning." Krillin said, bringing his tiny daughter to sit next to the Saiyan in the sand.
"Well," Goku gulped, "I've been having these really strange feelings since last night, when I found that girl in the wrecked ship. The closer I am to her, well, my skin gets hotter, my stomach knots up. I feel like I'm going to lose my mind and I have absolutely no clue why," Goku rubbed at the sand with a foot.
"Sounds like you're either in love or..." Krillin leaned in close to Goku's ear, "...or you're backed up man."
Goku blinked."What are you talking about?"
"Well you know, Goku, you haven't exactly been laid in..oh..about 9 years!" Krillin guffawed.
"9 years?!"Roshi exclaimed, and fell out of his beach chair backwards.
Goku looked wide-eyed at Krillin. "I'm being completely serious here, Krillin, This almost feels... supernatural." He sighed.
"I'm being completely serious, too, bro." Krillin cocked an eyebrow. "You need to get that shit taken care of or you're going to explode! Trust me," he added in a low voice.
"Gee, thanks for the sound advice, Krillin. Just forget I mentioned it," Goku huffed as he walked across the sandy lawn to walk into the pink house.
Inside, Goku pulled off his sunglasses and put them in his shorts' pocket. He noticed the beautiful android known as Eighteen watching the television.
"Hey Goku, Bulma called for you. Didn't seem urgent but she did want me to get you to call her back," she said, never turning away from the television.
"Thanks," Goku said, picking up the phone and carrying it to his room on the second floor. He sat down on his bed and paused before dialing. His heart was pounding, and that heated feeling never completely left him. His chest rose and fell in a final sigh and he called the number to Capsule Corporation.
"Hello, Capsule Corporation, Bulma speaking," he heard on the other end.
"Hey there, Bulma how are you? Eighteen said you called. Whats up?"
"Oh, heeey, I just thought I would call and see if you made it home, I noticed you weren't on the sofa this morning."
"Uhh yeah." Goku scratched his head. "I wasn't feeling well so I decided to come on home last night." It wasn't a complete lie.
"Oh, okay. I hope you are feeling better. Celria has woken up, we managed to get her a Senzu bean! She asked about you, thought you might want to stop by the beach house for a little get-together. You're sons will be there," offered Bulma.
Goku's heart skipped a beat. What if I get all sweaty and freak out in front of everyone, or worse... He looked down at the front of his pants. He might as well go, his curiosity outweighing his reasoning. "Sure. I need to get ready and I'll be over in a bit."
"Cool! See you then! Later!" she sang, and then hung up the phone. Goku sighed and put his head in his hand. His heart was already pounding.
Once Goku had made it to Bulma's beach home outside of West City, he was greeted by his two sons. The youngest was ten years old and the other was grown and married. Goku could already feel the heat creep up his body as he pushed past his sons into the expensive mansion.
"Wow, Dad, you don't look so well. Are you alright?" asked Gohan, his eldest.
"Of course, Son, I never get sick. You know that," Goku faked a smile and continued on into the home, despite his growing heated condition.
Sitting on the back veranda were the rest of the guests, including the Saiyan woman. She was in the middle, surrounded by a group of interested faces. Goku stopped for a moment to take in the scenery. The veranda was fairly large with all kinds of lawn furniture, facing out toward the an extremely large swimming pool with the beach and ocean beyond that. It was apparent that Capsule Corporation's business was booming.
"Why did everyone get so quiet?" Goku wondered suddenly, noticing the faces staring at him.
"Not used to seeing you in jeans and a t-shirt! Now come sit, we saved a spot for you!" Bulma giggled and went to fetch him one of the many refreshments she had provided.
Celria smirked."I see that fool Kakarot decided to show up." She flipped her hair off her shoulder and took a light sip from her beverage. Goku's skin heated even more. What did he ever do to her to deserve such a greeting?
Her hair was completely down, flowing well past her waste in a chocolate waterfall. She was dressed in one of Bulma's shirts and a pair of jeans. Despite the casualness of her clothes, she still managed to ooze the snobbishness that royalty seemed to always posses. She still wore the emblem necklace that hung lightly between her breasts with the symbol of the Saiyan Elite. Goku looked away to find his seat and tried to act normal, although he felt horribly claustrophobic. Not to mention his skin felt feverish. The Saiyan woman glanced at him quickly and looked away, focusing on her brother.
"Would you mind repeating for Goku why you came here?" Bulma asked, returning with a lemonade and handing it to Goku before sitting down.
The princess sighed and looked sideways to Goku before returning to her bored stare out across the pool. "During the time that Frieza destroyed our home world, I was not on the planet Vegeta at the time, just as Kakarot Nappa, Raditz and Vegeta were not. I was with royal guards on a mission to find supplies for our armies, since father, King Vegeta, would not allow me to fight at any cost. I caught wind from a traveling Namekian that Vegeta had been on planet Namek, wreaking havoc, no doubt, and destroying innocent Namekians for Dragonballs!" She smirked. "It certainly surprises me to see you this domesticated now, Brother."
Vegeta grunted, not saying a word. The Saiyan princess continued. "After Kakarot here supposedly 'defeated' Frieza on Namek, what was left of Frieza's men had found me. I managed to escape and hide on a small planet. After years of hiding, I must have assumed I was forgotten, but it was a mistake I paid for.” Her eyes grew dark. “ All of my guards were hunted and killed, and I barely escaped with my life, all because of my carelessness. I managed to get to a pod and typed in the coordinates to the next closest inhabitable planet to Planet Namek, Earth, in hopes that my brother had been here and someone could point me in his direction." She sipped at her drink. "But who else is here with Vegeta? None other than the blundering idiot, Kakarot, riding like a knight in shining armor to rescue me. How sweet.” She smiled sweetly. “ The little incompetent Saiyan that couldn't conquer a single planet by himself. Be glad that hostile take overs are not our way anymore,Kakarot." She tilted her head back and laughed, inadvertently sending chills down Goku's spine. She stopped suddenly, almost as if she had noticed, until she took another sip of her drink and sat it down on the short table in front of her, crossing one leg over the other.
Goku stared at her. He was well used to this kind of treatment from her brother, but he was still dumbfounded. She suddenly met his stare, their gazes locked unintentionally, heating Goku to his core. He felt something stir inside of him, when suddenly static cracked in the air, shattering the bulbs in the nearby lights that lit the veranda at night. Everyone gasped and jumped from their seats, everyone except Goku, Celria and Vegeta.
"Holy crap! What was that all about!" Exclaimed Krillin, slowly settling back into his chair.
"I have to go, sorry guys," Goku stood suddenly, spilling over his lemonade on the small table, and rushed through the large doors leading back inside of the mansion.
Celria smiled and shook her head. "See what a complete moron he is?" Vegeta just looked at her and narrowed his eyes
Goku ran into the bathroom and turned on the sink, cupping water in his hands and rubbing it on his face. His breath was coming in gasps, his body trembling lightly. He had no idea what the HELL just happened out there. He thought the energy had come from him but he wasn't for sure. Was it both of ours? he thought. He dried his face on a towel and sat on top of the toilet seat, staring at his hands. His skin was alive with heat, his stomach in knots, his loins throbbing.
He didn't understand how his body could be having this reaction. The Saiyan woman was almost completely disgusted by his presence, and never missed the opportunity to belittle him. However, that wasn't his biggest concern. His concern was the almost primal feeling inside of him, driving him mad and getting increasingly worse. Was this what Krillin was talking about? Am I deprived? He wondered. No, this touched a part of him that no human would understand, almost like an animal inside of him, stretching, awakening. He wasn't a hundred percent sure it was completely sexual, aside from the constant erections. He stepped outside of the bathroom and was face to face with the beautiful Saiyan Princess, Celria.
Suddenly he was pushed up against the wall, the small hand of the woman planted firmly on his chest. His heart pounded against her hand like a caged bird, his chest rising and falling with each hurried breath as she leaned in closer to his face. He gulped hard. He wondered if his skin was literally burning, although it did not cause him pain.
"Kakarot..." she whispered, her body inches from his throbbing need. Goku heard a low deep growl and then realized it was from him.
"I know whats happening," she breathed. Goku inhaled deeply, taking in her scent. "This is out of our control. You must stay away! Maybe we can prevent this from escalating before it gets worse."
"Wh-what's happening to me?" Goku pleaded, his knees going weak. He probably would have collapsed if it had not been for her hand still firmly on his chest, pinning him to the wall.
"If you stay away, none of this will have to be explained," she whispered. Her control slipped, pressing herself against Goku. He gasped and and held his breath, his skin glistening with sweat and his body trembling as she pressed her hips firmly into his uncontrollable erection. She tore away suddenly. "Leave before Vegeta finds out! Go now!" she urged, and with what little control and energy Goku had, he pressed two fingers to his forehead and teleported away in an instant.
Tears filled the small Saiyan's eyes as she collapsed to her knees. "Damn you, you worthless fool," she sobbed.
Celria gracefully glided through the beach-side mansion, retreating to her borrowed bedchamber. The guests had all gone well after Kakarot had disappeared, wondering what had caused the burst of energy that demolished all of the outside lamps, and what had Kakarot acting so strange. Why Kakarot? she wondered, staring at the floor as she walked down a massive hallway. She rubbed her arms, wondering if they were as hot to the touch as her skin felt. As she rounded the last corner to her room, she was stopped by a short Saiyan prince standing in the middle of hall, staring at her intensely.
"What is it, Brother?" she questioned, walking closer to the door of her room, but Vegeta did not budge.
"I was wondering what the hell just went on out there involving Kakarot."
"I have no idea what you are talking about, I don't even give Kakarot a thought. He's just worthless, low-class scum." she shrugged.
Vegeta leaned in close. "I'm not buying that crap!" he pointed at her. "I think this is an act! You are acting too much like me, and from what I remember, you were never like me!"
Celria looked down and smiled. "Battle hardens you, Brother, that's why I am different now."
“Battle?” Vegeta snorted. “You never possessed the strength of an elite. I have always questioned whether you were completely of Royal blood or just a bastard child!" Vegeta crossed his arms.
Celria grinned. "Suit yourself, but calling me a fool with such thoughts in your own mind is the pot calling the kettle black." She met his gaze.
Vegeta roughly grabbed her arm and leaned in close to her face. "This better not be what I think it is," he warned in a low, rough voice, "or I will destroy Kakarot and you with him."
Celria prayed he couldn't smell her fear. She gathered up the courage and smiled, showing even teeth. "You are the fool! That is ridiculous. Trust me brother, Kakarot is scum and I highly doubt that fate would hand me such unfortunate cards, especially since I am elite and he's just a low-class. You should be happy I'm still alive instead of dwelling on these ridiculous notions," She jerked her arm free from his grip and trailed off into her room, shutting the large wooden door behind her. She sat down quietly on the bed and listened for her brother's retreating footsteps. There wasn't enough willpower for her to stop the tears from coming. She had finally found her brother and already she was in deep trouble. The worst part was it was completely out of her control! And him accusing her of being a bastard child! Must be him trying to justify his suspicions, she thought. "Why, Kakarot," she whispered as one tear broke free and fell down her cheek. She walked to the window and looked out toward the water. Glitter sparkled across the waves from the countless stars across the sky. She held her breath, closed her eyes, and searched for Kakarot's power, seeking more of the heat she felt from him. She slowly exhaled when she found the spark of his energy across the ocean, and felt his warmth fill her and radiate through her body. She cut the connection, suddenly aware that Vegeta might be able to sense it, even though she couldn't cut it off completely. She held herself and wondered how long she was going to be able to hide her predicament from the arrogant Saiyan prince.
Goku was lying in bed, starring at the ceiling in the dark. He couldn't sleep, especially after the surge of energy he just felt that sent waves of heat through his body, andalso the glimpse he got of Celria standing in front of an open window in his mind. Then the sensation left just as quickly as it had came except for the usual dull ache in his chest and the tingling of his skin he was always left with. His brain was also swimming with everything she had said and what had happened at the mansion. How close they had gotten. What would Vegeta find out? he wondered and then decided he had to find out what was going on before he lost his mind completely. He was sure he knew exactly who had the answers. He kicked off his blankets and stood in a pair of shorts, trying to calm himself . He placed two fingers to his head and teleported to the mansion. He was suddenly standing next to Celria, who was wide eyed.
“What are you...?” she started but was cut off when Goku grabbed her arm and teleported a second time.
They were back at Kame house, in Goku's room. Goku's skin was on fire, but he was determined to get the answers he was looking for.
“You seemed to be worried about Vegeta, that's why I brought you here so we can talk,” Goku said quietly, his back to her, trying to calm himself.
“Why? Whats the meaning of this? I told you to stay away!” Celria crossed her arms, butterflies pounding in her stomach.
“I need answers, and I know you are going through exactly the same thing I am. I felt your energy during the night. You did that on purpose.” Goku turned to face her, his eyes determined.
Celria was silent. She was losing her mind standing this close to him. She hugged herself, looking at the floor.
“I need answers now! What is happening to me, and why are you making this happen?!” Goku clenched his hands into fists at his sides.
“I'm not doing this, this all unintentional. You really would be better off staying away from me,” she looked at him fiercely, crossing her arms
“I will decide that myself,” Goku stated, taking a moment to walk around her, taking in her sweet scent. “I have never been around a Saiyan girl before, so does this always happen? If I met another Saiyan female would I feel this attracted to her too?” he gulped.
Celria looked at the floor and shook her head. “No, Kakarot, this isn't a very common occurrence. I've never experienced it myself until now, but I have heard stories and met people who have.” Her stomach was in knots, and it wasn't only because she was standing so close to Goku.
Goku kept his distance, but stood firmly where he was. “I want to know everything you know. No lies.” His eyes were tight.
Celria sighed, and shifted her weight from one foot to the other. “As far as I know, it doesn't have a name, at least not one I know. It involves our animal selves. If a Saiyan is lucky, in their lifetime they will find another Saiyan whose energy syncs perfectly with another. Considering there's only 3 full Saiyans left in the universe, it makes this seem even more impossible, but it happened and there's probably nothing we can do about it. It's too late,” she looked away. “Usually this is something to celebrate, but not when your brother is Vegeta, and the one you are bound to is a low-class warrior.”
Goku clenched his teeth, “So you are saying we're like.... soul-mates?!”
“Exactly,”
Goku slowly moved to his bed and sat down lightly. He rubbed his face with his hands, and then looked up at Celria. “What can we do about it?”
“Live with it or go our separate ways, even though it would be really hard on us both if we forced ourselves apart,” she took a step closer to Goku but stopped when Goku held up his hand to keep her from coming closer. “It could even kill us.”
“Why does Vegeta care?”
“Fear of mixing our blood-line with yours I would imagine. He's too arrogant, and too protective of me, even though he rarely shows it. He really does care about me, I know he does.”
Goku gulped, “Am I always going to feel like I'm an animal in heat every time I'm around you?”
Celria looked down and smiled, feeling somewhat guilty for having come in to put the young Saiyan through such a thing. “Yes, until we consummate it. Until then, it will just get increasingly worse. If it gets bad enough, then we will become like animals and it will be consummated regardless of where we are at the time of our meeting.” She sighed. “But since I have met you and our energies have touched, we are bound for good.” A panicked look crossed her face when she suddenly remember Vegeta's warning. “Kakarot, I don't know what to do! Vegeta will kill you if he discovers this!”
Goku chuckled and looked at her bright eyed. “A confrontation with Vegeta actually sounds like fun,” he grinned.
She stared at him in amazement. Was he not afraid of his own prince? “Y-you aren't afraid of Vegeta?”
Goku shook his head, “You may not know it, but unless he has been training these past 2 years, then I am stronger than he is.”
“But my brother informed me that he was the Super Saiyan of legend! And no offense, you are a low-class warrior!” she trembled slightly.
Goku laughed. “'No offense'? You put me down all day yesterday and now you are saying 'no offense'?”
“I didn't want my brother to suspect anything, but he suspects anyway,” she stared at the floor. “I don't want either of you getting hurt because of my arrival on this planet!”
“Hm, that is a problem. See, Vegeta is a Super Saiyan, he didn't lie.” Goku stood. “What he didn't tell you was that I was the first to transform, and that now I have ascended past Super Saiyan two more times since, and you're brother has only once.” Goku smiled. He took a step toward Celria. “Even our sons are all Super Saiyans.”
She gasped. This was unreal! Kakarot stronger than her brother, his own prince! What was Vegeta thinking even threatening to destroy Kakarot unless it was because she knew he would attack him regardless. So if that fight did happen, either Goku would be hurt for lack of defending himself for fear of damaging Vegeta, or Goku was going to beat him to a pulp. She sat heavily on the floor where she had been standing, putting her head in her hands and started to sob.
“I didn't mean to make you sad!” Goku rushed over to her side and touched her arm lightly, but that small touch was a big mistake. Their energies united, and flared throughout both of their bodies. Goku no longer had control as he lifted her with ease to her feet.
They stared at each other, until Goku lightly placed his hands on either side of her face and gently kissed her perfect lips. Celria's tail unwound itself from around her waste and wrapped around Goku's thigh as she returned his kiss. Their skin was on fire, and their need blazing hot as Goku probed her mouth with his tongue, Her arms were wrapped around his neck, pressing into him. She slightly pressed her hips into his throbbing heat, causing a moan to escape the taller Saiyan's throat. Her hands glided down his bare muscled chest to his lower abdomen, then lower to stroke where he had protruded past the opening in his shorts. He moaned into their heated kiss, and with one swift motion, lifted her off of the floor and laid her lightly on his bed. He leaned over her, kissing down her exposed neck down her chest to her cleavage. He lifted her shirt over her head, and began kissing down her stomach, causing her tail to twitch. He slowly slid her pants and underwear down her long legs and threw them onto to the floor, taking the time to trace is fingers up one of her legs on his way back up to meet her lips with his. She played with the edge of his boxers, making him whimper. Their bodies were on fire, and they were perfectly in tuned to the others' needs, unlike any other time in their lives. She slid his boxers down as much as she could, then used her foot to push them off the rest of the way. His muscles tightened as he slowly slid the tip of himself across her wet opening, making her legs tighten on either side of his waste. They both gasped as Goku lost his control to tease and slid deep inside of her, feeling completely wrapped in her wet warmth. Celria matched his rhythm, moaning with each thrust Goku made. He caressed one of her nipples as he moved, sending her closer to the edge. Goku sensed this, and with one deep push, sent her over into a fiery orgasm. Her hips bucked against his until he lost his control. He buried his face into her neck and moaned a deep moan as he filled her.
He leaned up and looked into her eyes before pulling away. She truly was beautiful. Her eyes were half lidded, her hair a pool of chocolate surrounding them, her lips red and pouty from their passionate kissing.
Celria wrapped her arms around Goku's neck tightly, taking in his scent. She prayed that this wouldn't have any repercussions later.
Celria flew home as soon as Goku had went to sleep, making sure to keep her energy as low as possible so Vegeta wouldn't notice her flying in. As soon as she stepped through her window, she headed to the shower to wash Goku's scent of f of her. The last thing she needed was to have Vegeta find out what had just happened between Goku and herself. He already suspected that they were bound, for lack of a better word. She stopped in the middle of washing her long locks and grimaced. She would not be weak, she had already shown enough weakness. She was royalty! She thought of Goku, about his smile and the way he looked at her when he was talking to her. He was very handsome and strong, the perfect person to be bonded to! Butterflies flapped in her stomach, and she swallowed. She was excited to be bound to Goku, she decided, but damn this situation. And damn her brother for being the way he was. She laughed. Whatever happens, let it come! She thought, and smiled.
Celria dried and dressed, and then walked toward the patio in the Capsule Corp. building. She liked Bulma's beach house fine, but Capsule Corporation felt more like a home, and she was glad to be back there. She noticed Bulma and young Trunks sitting outside on the patio sipping a beverage and decided to join her.
“Hi, Celria. How are you feeling?” Bulma smiled.
Celria grinned happily. “Very well, actually. Your home is very comfortable, and I appreciate all you and my brother have done for me.”
“Oh, its not a problem at all, Just glad you are alive! You are my sister-in-law after all!” Bulma stood and pulled out a chair for the her. “Please, have a seat.”
As Celria was easing herself into the comfortable patio furniture, her nephew blurted, “I was asking my Mom if she thought you would ever be able to go Super Saiyan! Is it because you are a girl?”
Celria chuckled, and remembered Goku explaining how all of his and Vegeta's children could go Super Saiyan. “Me being a woman should make you more fearful, young nephew!”
“Uhhh, yeah, if you are anything like Mom! She's scary!” he exclaimed and ran off laughing before Bulma could bonk him on the head. The two women shared a laugh, both gazing over the roofs of the office buildings and labs.
“So, what's going on between you and Goku?” Bulma finally asked, tilting her head as she looked at the Saiyan woman.
Celria's heart skipped at the mention of his name. “Nothing. Kakarot is a loser.” It was hard to lie, or to speak badly about Goku when she terribly wanted to end the charade. They were bound, it was a forever deal. At least until one of them died. She frowned at the thought.
Bulma chuckled. “Goku is definitely one of a kind, there is no other man like him in the universe. I have known him since he was a boy, and life is always brighter when he's around.”
Celria remained silent. Her eyes welled with tears, but she willed them away, reminding herself that she was going to be strong.
Bulma watched the Saiyan woman. Her hands were still in her lap and how she was starring off into space with glistening eyes, her lips tight.
“You love him.” she stated. It wasn't a question.
Celria turned to the blue-haired woman quickly, eyes wide. She couldn't believe Bulma could read her that easily! She quickly wondered if she had expressed her views about Goku and Celria's relationship to her brother. She swallowed hard, trying to regain her composure. “Why would you...say that...” Celria gave up. She had been bested. She braced herself for the worst. Bulma would tell Vegeta and Vegeta would destroy Goku. Goku wouldn't fight back because of his love for Vegeta and herself. And the worst part is it would all be her fault.
A worried look crossed over Bulma's face. “Don't worry. I won't tell Vegeta.” She looked at Celria sideways and grinned. “For one, I know how Vegeta is, better than anyone. And secondly” her face softened, “I know how it feels to be in love, and who am I to mess with that? Especially when it comes to Goku.”
Celria's mouth hung open. Her chest ached, partly from the bond, but mostly from her own feelings for Goku. “Thank you, Bulma,” was all she said. She stood, and walked back through the building to her bedroom.
The sun was blindingly bright, streaming past the curtains in Goku's room. Seagulls sang their morning song, gliding effortlessly in the ocean breeze. Goku rubbed his eyes and ran a hand over his spiky hair. Memories of the night before came flooding into his mind. He sat up, first looking to his side and then around the room. She wasn't there. He sighed and plopped his head back down on his pillow, recalling the entire event over in his mind as he stared at the ceiling. He had lost control, just like he knew he was going to eventually, but Vegeta... Goku recalled the tenderness Vegeta had expressed for Celria shortly after Goku had rescued her from her demolished pod,. Goku contemplated going straight to Capsule Corp. and spilling the beans. He stepped out of bed and headed for the shower, hoping it would help clear his head.
A few weeks had passed, and Goku was standing in front of his old home in the mountains. The breeze felt lovely, reminding him of how nice the air was in the country. He knocked lightly on the door, staring at the doorstep. The wooden door opened with a whine from age, revealing a small spiky haired replica of Goku.
“It's Daddy!” Goten exclaimed to his mother, who stepped up behind him.
“Hi Chichi,” Goku gave her a big goofy grin.
“Long time no see, Goku,” Chichi returned his smile. “Please come on in and have a bite to eat before you and Goten head to town. I just made dinner,” She led the way to the kitchen, reminding Goten to gather his things before he left to go with his father.
“That would be great! I'm starving!” Goku exclaimed and sat in his old spot at the kitchen table. He was very glad he didn't have to go without Chichi's cooking since their separation.
“I doubt that, with the way you eat.” She laughed.
Goku got more than his fill and was leaning back in his chair, letting his dinner settle when Chichi asked, “So I hear you have a girlfriend.”
Goku coughed and almost fell backwards in his chair. He straightened, and laughed “Where did you hear that?!” Did Vegeta know? No, he would have already paid Goku a visit if he had.
“Bulma.” Chichi said, crossing her arms.
Goku laughed nervously, “That's ridiculous! I've been training with Piccolo!” Goku waved his hands.
“Uh huh... well anyway, she better not lay a HAND on my Goten or she will have to deal with me!” She narrowed her eyes, and smiled wickedly.
Goku placed a finger to his lips, hoping Chichi would take a hint and keep quiet about it. “Well don't worry about that. Anyway! Thanks for the dinner! Goten will be back by the end of the weekend I promise! Gotta go!” Goku swallowed hard and headed for the door, calling for Goten.
“Goku!” Chichi followed.“Just be happy.” She said and put a hand lightly on Goku's muscled shoulder as they stood at the door. Goku smiled. Goten kissed his mother goodbye and they flew off toward Kame House.
Goku's skin still had the tingling burn it always had, but he had grown used to it, and even welcomed it. He took it as a sign that Celria was fine, even when he couldn't be around. He hadn't seen her in the past couple of days so it brought him comfort. He had been going to Capsule Corp, offering to train with Vegeta, and even help with any work that needed to be done, just to be near to Celria and catch a glimpse at her, and to feel that blessed burn from their bond. She still pretended to despise Goku, despite her always hanging around when he was there, but Vegeta didn't seem none the wiser. Now that he thought of it, Bulma HAD been giving him some strange looks whenever he came by. That woman was too smart, Goku had decided.
Some nights, however, Goku would teleport to Capsule Corp and steal away his damsel back to Kame house, to make love in the starlight, or just sit on the roof and talk of things long past. It was amazing how different she was when they were alone, not much different from himself. She liked to have fun, liked food, and even liked to fight, although she wasn't a strong as the other Saiyans because of lack of training. She was tired of feeling weak from running and hiding most of her life, so on some nights, Goku even trained her. He was glad to have her as a student of sorts, although most times, their bond would get the best of them and their fight would turn into a passionate battle of a different kind. She had the same fighting spirit as Goku in her Saiyan blood. They truly were soul mates. Goku smiled at his thoughts of Celria as he landed on the sandy lawn of Kame House
“Hi guys, we're home!” Goku called, giving Goten his things to take up to Goku's room.
“Hey Goku and Goten! I was just leaving,” Krillin said.
“Why for?” Goku wondered, walking to the refrigerator and opening it to peer inside at the goodies.
“Well, Bulma asked me to go to the store for her, something about Celria being sick and she wanted me to pick up something for her,” Krillin shrugged and walked toward the door.”Anyway, later!”
“Wait, what!?” Goku rushed over to Krillin and picked up the short man by his shirt collar. ”What's wrong with her! Tell me!”
“She's got a stomach bug, man! Chill out and put me down!” he yelled, swinging his dangling legs. “I don't even know what Bulma wants me to pick up!”
“Krillin, you stay here and watch Goten, I'm going.” he said putting two fingers to his head.
“Dude, she ain't dying!” Krillin said, but Goku teleported, leaving a slight breeze behind.
Goten walked down the stairs. “Where did Dad go?” he pondered.
Krillin shrugged, and began removing his shoes. “Capsule Corp. He'll be right back, little man.” Krillin ruffled the little Saiyan's spikes,
“Cool. I'm going to go shoot Kamehamehas across the ocean! Come watch me!” Goten ran out the door. Krillin stood where he was a second, wondering why Goku was acting so funny, then followed Goten out of the door.
Goku suddenly appeared next to Bulma, making her screech.
She turned around hotly, “You are GOING to have to stop doing that to me, Goku! I'm not a young woman anymore. I could die of a heart attack because of you!”
Goku smiled sheepishly. “Sorry,” he apologized, scratching his head.
“Have you seen Krillin? I asked him to go to the store for me! Where the hell is that geek?” she said, pacing.
“Uh, I asked him to stay at home with Goten.” Goku stated, looking around the room, searching for signs of Vegeta. He was always paranoid of the prince lately.
Bulma ceased her pacing and turned to Goku. “Oh yeah, you were having a father/son weekend, weren't you.” She tilted her head. “Why are you here then, silly?” Goku gave her a half smile, although his eyes were pinched with worry. Bulma laughed. “She's fine you big goof, she's just not feeling well.”
“Yeah, well,” Goku turned to the open patio doors to continue his silent his search for Vegeta. “Saiyans don't exactly get sick often.” He turned back to Bulma, arms folded across his broad chest.
Bulma sighed, “Go talk to her, but make it quick. I'm not exactly sure where Vegeta has gotten off to. He has a habit of doing that.” Bulma's face reflected Goku's worry. “I'll stall him if I see him, but no promises.”
Goku nodded and gave Bulma a quick smile before running off down a curved hallway to Celria's room.
His heart was trying to break out of his ribs when he was finally standing in front of her door. He was probably overreacting, but he wanted to know if she was alright. He had a strange feeling. He inhaled and knocked on the door. The door opened revealing the beautiful Celria. She smiled and stepped back as Goku stepped inside, closing her door. He quickly embraced her, holding her close to him. He buried his face in her hair and inhaled, taking in her sweet smell. “I missed you,” he whispered after a few moments of silence, still holding her close. She pulled away suddenly, staring at Goku with wide eyes.
“Its not safe to be here like this, Goku!” she said in a hushed voice.
“Don't worry. I wont be here long,” Goku smiled at hearing her say his Earth name, and kissed her forehead, then stopped when he heard footsteps outside of the door. Suddenly the door swung open, banging against the wall. There stood Vegeta, hands on hips, frozen in the doorway.
“Kakarot, what are you doing in here?!”
Goku turned to look at Vegeta, and smiled. Goku was hovering several feet off of the floor, standing underneath a light fixture, his hand twisting a light bulb from its socket.
“Changing a light bulb. Why, whats up?” Goku, held the perfectly fine light bulb in his hand as his feet made a light tapping sound with his descent to the floor.
Vegeta clenched his teeth. Bulma rushed in behind Vegeta, staring in through the open door, then smiled, relief apparent on her face. “ I could have done that!” he said, snatching the light bulb from Goku's hand and walked back out the way he had came.
“Probably better than this idiot,” Celria added. “Now leave, I don't feel like seeing either of you morons right now.” She put a hand to her stomach and crawled into her bed.
Goku followed Vegeta out of the room into the living area. He gave Vegeta his best goofy grin and scratched his head. “Well Bulma said she couldn't find you. Celria wasn't feeling well, but she wanted this light changed so she could read while in bed.” Vegeta raised an eye brow, giving the bulb to Bulma to throw away. Good thing he didn't look close enough to notice it was a perfectly good light bulb, Goku thought, feeling the familiar warmth from Celria's energy slowly fade as their distance increased..
Vegeta continued walking down another hall, Goku behind him. “You've been here an awful lot, Kakarot.” he said.
“Been bored! Since me and Chichi split, I haven't had much to do but train. I miss being useful around a house every once in a while!” Goku prayed he bought it.
“Right. Now stop following me. Unlike you, I have important things to do.” and he walked around the corner out of Goku's sight.
Goku leaned heavily against the wall of the hallway and breathed a big sigh of relief. Too close for comfort. When Goku returned to the living room, Bulma was there, quick to greet him.
“I think you should go, Goku, before this gets worse. I'll let you know how she's doing, but Vegeta's starting to get suspicious, I think.” she looked down the hall Vegeta had just been in. Goku released a shaky sigh. Bulma placed a hand on his hard back. “Don't worry, she will be fine,” Bulma patted him. “She is a Saiyan after all!”
Goku couldn't even fake a smile. Hiding from Vegeta was taking its toll on him and he suddenly felt weary. He placed two fingers to his forehead and was gone.
Celria was shaking, not only from feeling ill, but from almost being discovered with Goku. She ran to her private bathroom and retched. This had to be the worst feeling in the world, she thought as her stomach rolled. She stood and washed her mouth at the sink, wrapping her tail tightly around her waist. She wandered back in the bedroom to her bed, and huddled under the blankets. She couldn't ever remember being sick in her entire life, and now Goku was gone, the heat on her skin the usual dull tingling that was there whenever he was away. There was a soft knock at her door, and she grimaced. She didn't need anymore excitement, but relaxed when Bulma appeared from behind the door, holding a glass of water and a plate of crackers.
She walked to the bed, and laid the drink and snack on the nightstand. “I thought you could use a snack, you haven't eaten.” Celria was silent. She wasn't hungry at all, and even the thought of the crackers didn't make her feel so well. Bulma sat down in the chair next to the bed, looking at the pale Saiyan woman. “Would being apart from Goku this long cause this to happen?”
“Possibly,” she tried sitting up a little, and thankfully her stomach cooperated.
“Hmm, well I was going to have Krillin get you a pregnancy test!” she laughed nervously. Celria's eyes snapped open. That thought had never occurred to her! She was suddenly panicked. “Well maybe we should wait then. Did Goku showing up today make you feel better at all?” Bulma scratched her head.
“No.” Celria sat up suddenly, her stomach in a tight knot. She turned to Bulma quickly. “Get me one. I have to know for sure.”
Bulma stared at her for a moment, then stood up from her chair. “Umm, okay, I'll be right back in a half hour then. You stay here and try to eat those crackers.” She walked to the door and added, “If you need anything, call for Trunks.”
Celria huddled back under the blankets to await Bulma's return, going over several scenarios of how Vegeta was going to kill her and Goku. And maybe even Bulma for hiding it from him. She cried, hard. No point in trying to be strong now, she was a dead woman walking if the test came out positive.
After a wait that seemed like an eternity, Bulma quietly stepped into her room, a small box in hand.
“Okay, this is the moment of truth, girly.” Bulma placed the box in the Saiyan's small hand. “Good luck!”
Celria made a loud gulp. “Thanks,” she croaked, and walked into the bathroom.
Celria stood in front of the sink, waiting for the test to process. She turned away, not wanting to see it right away. She took several deep breaths, clenched and unclenched her fists, then turned to face the music. She cried out when her suspicions were confirmed by the small white stick on the counter. She was indeed a dead woman walking.
Goku was playing a card game with Krillin and Goten at that living room table in Kame House, although his mind wasn't completely focused on the game.
“Ha! Beat you again, Dad!” Goten exclaimed, laying his cards down on the table. Krillin grunted, laying his down on the table as well. He looked at Goku, and noticed he was still holding his cards, staring off into space.
“Goku, you haven't won one hand!” Krillin said, snapping Goku back to reality.
Goku looked down at his cards and laid them down on the table. “You got me again, Son. You're getting pretty good at this game!” Goten laughed loudly, gathering up the cards to shuffle again.
“You okay, Goku?” Krillin asked. Goku and Krillin had trained under Master Roshi together when they were just kids. He could tell when something was nagging at Goku, and it had seemed like it was getting progressively worse.
Goku sighed. “Krillin, you know, you have asked me that same question ten times now.” he stood up and looked out of the window to stare out across the dark glimmering ocean. The horizon was a faint glow of orange, a reminder of the day that had come and gone.
“Aww, Dad,” Goten whined. “You don't want to play another hand?”
Krillin stood. “Goten, it's getting late, why don't you head up stairs and go to bed.”
“But it's early!” Goten protested.
“Goten, go upstairs and play video games then. Krillin and I are going to talk.” Goku said sternly, never turning from the window. “I'll be up in a minute.”
“Oh, alright.” Goten placed the stack of cards down on the table and headed up the stairs.
When Krillin was sure Goten was gone, he turned to Goku. “Okay, whats really wrong with you. No more excuses.”
Goku turned to Krillin. “Okay, I'll tell you, but if you say anything...”
“Goku,” Krillin cut in, “I've known you since we were kids, I'm you're best friend. I wouldn't say anything to anyone if you didn't want me to.”
Goku walked to the sofa and plopped down, resting his elbows on his knees, his head in his hands.
“ I found that girl in the pod almost a month ago, right? Well, guess what. We're kind of soul-mates.”
Krillin tilted his head. “Uh, what?”
“Krillin, we're bound to each other. It's some sort of Saiyan thing. Our energies are synced perfectly with each other. We didn't really have a choice, but...” Goku swallowed, “..I really wouldn't have it any other way.”
“Wow,” Krillin sat on the couch next to his tall friend. “So seriously, soul mates?”
Goku nodded.
“So that's why you were feeling strange that time you talked to me about it.”
“Yep.”
Krillin shrugged. “So what's the problem? That's great! You have a girlfriend!”
Goku lifted his head from his hands and looked at Krillin. “It's not that simple.”
“Why? I think its fantastic! She's pretty hot too!” Krillin grinned.
Goku lowered his face back down into his open hands. “Vegeta is her brother, and he will NOT let her have anything to do with me under any circumstances. His pride...” Goku trailed off.
Krillin slouched. “Ouch. So, is Vegeta like her daddy or something?”
Goku chuckled. “This whole thing about me being a low-class Saiyan has him bent out of shape.” Goku sat up. “I've been secretly bringing her here every so often with Instant Transmission as well as going to Capsule Corporation, using the excuse that I'm helping Bulma out with the company so I can be close to her.”
Krillin smiled at Goku, “You sly dog. You've been bringing her here under all of our noses the whole time," said Krillin. “ I wish I knew how to use Instant Transmission...” Krillin added, grumbling.
“This isn't a joke Krillin. Vegeta will try to kill us if he finds out, and I really don't know what I'm going to do if he tries.” Goku sighed.
“You're going to kick his ass , that's what you are going to do! And I'll watch and laugh,” Krillin slapped Goku on the arm. “Lighten up, man. It's not the end of the world! You're the strongest fighter in the universe! Low class my ass...”
“I wish things were that easy. Fighting is easy, but this,” he shook his head, “this is a battle I don't know how to fight, and honestly, it's scary.” He looked at his friend, “I'm scared to death, Krillin.”
Krillin looked at the floor searching for words as Goku stared at the ceiling. “So, what has you stressing out over it so bad today? You have seemed more out of it today than you have all month. Is it because she's sick?”
Goku nodded, staring down at his feet. “I went there today to see how she was doing and I almost got caught in her room by Vegeta.” Goku frowned. “Worst part is, I never did get to find out what was wrong.”
Krillin held up a finger. “Answer me this; how in the hell did you get out of that one?”
Goku gave Krillin a sly smile. “I pretended I was changing a light bulb in her room.”
Krillin let out a guffaw. “And that actually worked?”
“Yeah, I didn't understand it either, Bulma had us figured out in a couple of days.” Goku's face tightened. “And since Vegeta hasn't came here trying to rip my head off yet, then he still doesn't know.”
“Well, I guess Vegeta just isn't the sharpest tool in the shed unless it comes to fighting,” Krillin said, laughing.
Goku joined him, tilting his head back and laughing at the ceiling. He thanked his lucky stars that he had friends like Krillin there for him.
Goku woke up to the telephone ringing. He groaned, pushing his sleeping son's foot out of his face, but when he was in the middle of his morning stretch, the phone had stopped. Goku shrugged, plopped his head back down on the pillow. He turned to look out of his small window. It was raining, making soft pelting sounds on the ceiling and window. Perfect morning to sleep in. He started to pull the blanket back up over his chest when there was a soft knock on his door. “Come in!” he called, feeling lazy.
Eighteen walked in, carrying the phone, “For you Goku,” she scowled. “ I'm really getting tired of being your secretary,” she handed Goku the phone.
He sat up and put the phone to his ear. “Son Goku speaking,” he practically yawned.
“Goku, I was wondering if you wanted to go out for lunch.” It was Bulma.
“Bulma,” Goku whined, looking at the clock. “Its 7:30 in the morning.”
“Okay. Breakfast then! Meet you at the Cafe at 9. Be there.” she added sternly.
Goku sighed and shifted the phone to the other ear as he settled back into bed. “What is this all about. You sound very strange, Bulma.”
“That's silly!” she laughed nervously. “I just wanted to, uh, talk to you and thought the Cafe would be a great place to talk. Don't you think???”
Goku suddenly realized what she was doing. “Oh right! Yes, the Cafe! Good, I'm starving! I can't wait! I'm bringing Krillin.”
“Good, I'm bringing Celria. She needs to get out and see the city. I'll see you then!” she said quickly. Then the line went dead.
Goku hung up the phone, his stomach knotting up. Bulma wanted to tell him something, using the Cafe as an excuse to get them away from Capsule Corp. Well mainly from Vegeta.
Goku slid out of the bed, careful not to wake Goten, and quietly went to Krillin's room. Eighteen was already awake, tending to Marron in the kitchen while Krillin was sleeping soundly. Goku tapped on the door. No answer. He slowly opened his bedroom door and walked in. He walked up to Krillin's sleeping form and poked him hard in the arm.
Krillin jumped from the bed, swearing. “Goku?!” Krillin yelped, seeing Goku standing over him, his index finger still extended. “You really need to watch that thing! You almost broke my arm,” Krillin whined, rubbing his arm where Goku had poked him.
“Oh, um, sorry.” Goku said, as he straightened. “Get up and get dressed Krillin, we're going to the Cafe in West City and we have to be there by 9.” Goku walked to Krillin's closet, pulling out clothes for him.
Krillin rubbed his eyes and stared blankly at Goku. “Why are you trying to dress me when you are still in your underwear?”
“No time. Just get dressed. We're meeting Bulma.” Goku placed the clothes at the foot of Krillin's bed. “I'll be back, I'm going to take Goten home.” He then left to dress himself.
Krillin scratched his head. “Idiot acts like he can't freaking teleport everywhere.” he said, then laid back down to sleep some more.
Goku and Krillin were standing outside of the Cafe thirty minutes early, huddling under an overhang to escape the cool morning rain. Hover cars whirred past them on the street. Goku had his hands jammed into his leather jacket pockets, staring at the traffic and people as they walked by. No one recognized him as the man who had saved their lives countless times, much less as an alien from another planet. Just another guy on the street. Krillin watched Goku stare at the people. He admired Goku. He was strong, handsome, tall... everything he wished he was. There was no way he was going to let Vegeta take away his best friend's happiness. Well at least he was going to try not to let him. Vegeta is so damn strong, Krillin thought, hugging himself. He frowned. In actuality, there wasn't a thing Krillin could do for his beloved childhood friend.
“Don't worry, Krillin,” Goku said, still staring at the traffic. “You don't have to get involved. I can deal with Vegeta if I have to.” He hoped.
Krillin stared up at the tall Saiyan. “I hate it when you do that,” he said, jamming his own hands into the pockets of his jacket.
Goku chuckled. “Well, you are just easy to read.”
“No, I'm not!” Krillin frowned and paced around a parking meter.
Goku smiled and continued watching the traffic, seeing one of Bulma's Capsule cars pull in next to the meter Krillin was walking around.
“They're here,” Goku said, even though Krillin had already noticed.
Goku was at their door immediately, wrapping Celria in a tender embrace as soon as she had exited the vehicle. She returned his hug, wrapping her arms around his neck tightly, her cheek pressed against his.
Krillin looked at Bulma and held out his arms. She scoffed at him and walked on into the Cafe. “No love,” he mumbled, following her.
They sat down at the table, no one saying a word. Krillin was twiddling his thumbs. Goku was back to staring out at the traffic through one of the massive windows, one hand on Celria's knee. Bulma was preoccupied with a menu. Celria was holding a hand over her nose, looking pale.
“Okay, this is killing me, why are we here, Bulma.” Goku finally asked, staring at her
“Not my idea,” she said, looking at Celria. “I was just on the phone in case Vegeta was so suspicious he felt the need to eavesdrop on another line.” She turned her look to Celria. “Want me to tell him?”
“I will, give me a moment,” She said, breathing slowly. The smell of the Cafe wasn't helping her nerves, only making her stomach that much more upset.
Goku looked at her questioningly, then looked at Krillin. Krillin shrugged, and sipped at a glass of water the waiter had given him.
The silence stretched on for eons. Goku squirmed in his seat. The waiter came to their table and Krillin and Bulma ordered their food. Celria and surprisingly, Goku, didn't order anything.
“Okay,” Celria finally said, shifting in her chair. “Everyone, I have something to say,” she swallowed, her stomach doing flips. Goku's aura on her skin didn't help much either. “As you know, I have been feeling ill lately, and we now know why.”
Goku turned to her, “It's nothing serious is it?” worry raw on his face.
Celria smiled and looked at her glass of water. “Depends on you're definition of 'serious'.” She said.
Goku placed a hand on her face. “Are you okay?”
“Yes,” she inhaled deeply, “I'm going to have a baby, Goku.”
Krillin sprayed water everywhere. Goku was frozen to his chair. Bulma crossed her arms and nodded. “That's why we asked you to meet us here, Goku.”
Goku never moved, his eyes off in space, not blinking. His only thought was Vegeta. What was he going to do? Vegeta was going to find out eventually. He was absolutely NOT going to let any harm come to Celria or his unborn child because of Vegeta's hate for Goku's lineage. Even if it killed him.
Goku finally turned to Celria and kissed her on the forehead, his eyes as cold as ice.
Bulma and Celria returned to Capsule Corp. shortly after their breakfast. Goku tried his best to assure Celria that everything was going to be okay before they left. She didn't want to leave Goku's side, even though she knew she must before he brother wondered why they were out so long. When the two girls stepped through the door to Capsule Corp, however, Vegeta was sitting on the sofa waiting for them. He slowly stood up.
“Where have you two been?” he stood and faced them, folding his arms.
“Oh, Vegeta, I was going to show Celria the town, and we decided to...” Bulma stopped when Vegeta held up a white stick in his left hand. Celria's head spun and adrenaline coursed through her veins.
“You both are lying, deceitful vermin!” Vegeta screamed and ran up to Celria and grabbed her roughly by the arm. “I knew it! I knew it all along! You harlot!” tears streamed down Celria face. “It's Kakarot's isn't it? Isn't it?!” Vegeta roughly pushed her to the ground.
“Vegeta, please...” Bulma tried, walking up to Vegeta.
“Quiet, woman!” He turned hotly to Bulma. “You are worse than she is! My own wife!” He smacked her away, sending her through one of the walls in Capsule Corp. She didn't get back up.
“Vegeta!” Celria stood up, anger hot in her eyes. “This was not her fault, this was mine. I am bound to Goku, not by choice.”
“Enough! You are disgustingly tainted by that fool, Kakarot! You have tainted our blood line! You are nothing to me anymore, you imbecile!” Vegeta punched Celria hard in the face, knocking her backwards. She saw stars, but she wasn't out just yet. She stood up, wiping the blood from her lip.
“You inconsiderate Moron!” she screamed. “My life is mine to live, and who the hell do you think you are to take that from me! I love Goku. Yes I said it! I love him and I'm happy I'm bound to him!” She smirked. “You are just pissed off because there isn't a damn thing you can do about it!” Vegeta turned and headed for the door. “Where are you going?! Isn't it clear that I am speaking to you, brother?!”
Vegeta chuckled, not turning to face her. “I'm going to pay Kakarot a little visit, and take care of him once and for all. He will never have another opportunity to interfere in my life again!” he turned his head. “Then, when I am done with him, I'll be back to see you and nip this little problem in the bud!”
“No! I wont let you!” her anger was at its peak, filling her until she felt like it was going to overflow. “You have no right and I will destroy you myself before you get the chance!”
“Ha! You could never hope to defeat me, you harlot weakling!” He turned to face her. “There is no way in hell I am going to allow a child tainted with Kakarot's blood to live!” With that he spread his feet and charged her, aiming for her stomach. She easily sidestepped his charge, but was hit in the back with Vegeta's foot as he rounded around and kicked her, sending her flying. Celria stopped herself just before hitting a wall. She was dizzy and she shook her head. He was insanely fast. She had to do something or he was going to kill her unborn child!
She spread her feet and screamed, finally feeling the dam break. Pieces of furniture and parts of the ceiling tore away as her aura flared, the carpet catching on fire at her feet. She screamed on, her voice cracking as the wind sent her hair flying. Her hair fell to her waist in a spiky cascade of golden, and her screams subsided. Pieces of furniture and ceiling glided slowly back to earth like confetti for a death party.
Vegeta clapped slowly. “So you aren't as worthless as I thought, but no matter. Becoming a Super Saiyan isn't going to help you any.” Vegeta grinned and yelled, flaring his aura to fill the room, sending his spikes to an incredibly spiky yellow. He tilted his head and laughed. “As you can see, I am well ascended past you, sister. You are as good as dead.”
Celria's green eye's narrowed,. She charged Vegeta. She was a streak of yellow as she kicked him in the face and stomach repeatedly, ending with a ki blast to face, sending him backwards. He stopped before hitting another wall, then flew through the open hole in the ceiling to the air above Capsule Corp. Celria chased after him.
Vegeta was instantly behind Celria, kicking her in the back and sending her sailing through the air. She turned so her back was facing the building before she crashed through it, hoping to avoid as much stomach trauma as possible.
“Give up! You are dead regardless!” Vegeta laughed maniacally, sending several bolts of hot energy into the building she had crashed through. After a moment, the smoke cleared. Celria stood, her clothes ripped, blood pouring from cuts on her head and arms, as well as other placed on her body. She was a fool to think she could defeat Vegeta. Her hair changed back to her normal straight chocolate brown and she collapsed face first into the rubble, unconscious.
Vegeta crossed his arm, spitting. “Well that takes care of that problem. All too easy! Now to find Kakarot and finally be rid of that clown!” His aura flared momentarily before he flew off toward Kame House.
“Celria! Celria, please wake up!”
Celria awoke to someone shaking her. It was her nephew, Trunks. She was still laying face first in the rubble of the Capsule Corp. building. She moaned. She didn't have the energy to get up.
“Eat this, please Celria” he pleaded, putting something in her mouth. She chewed it and instantly her energy returned and her wounds closed. She felt great! “Man, I sure am glad we had some of those left over. Never know when you're going to need 'em!” Trunks laughed shakily. Celria stood and hugged her little nephew. She suddenly remembered Bulma! Could human's withstand a blow of those proportions?
“Trunks! You're mother...is she okay?!” She gripped him in a panic.
“Yeah, I found her first. She's doing okay. She was almost dead...” tears welled in the small Saiyan's eyes. He looked up at his aunt. “Why did this have to happen?” He sobbed, putting his face against her neck. Celria was horrified and remembered Vegeta going after to Goku. This was all her fault! She should have never came to this planet. She was ruining these good people's lives all because she wanted to find her brother, who turned out totally different than she had remembered. She clenched her eyes tightly, tears streaming down her face. She knew what she needed to do. “Trunks, do you know where I can get the Dragonballs?
Trunks stepped back, blinked, and rubbed his eyes. “They are all over the planet, but Mom has a radar to track them.”
“ I need that radar! It might not be too late.” she said, rushing back into the demolished Capsule Corp. building. She had to do this. For Goku. For her brother's family. For her child. For everyone.
Goku was lying in his bed, staring at the ceiling, lost in thought. Celria was going to have his baby, and Vegeta was going to find out, no matter what they did. It would be best to go confront him with the news and take all of Vegeta's fury instead of risking Celria and the baby's health. Goku stood and walked down the stairs and toward the front door when he sensed Vegeta's energy closing in. Now he finally knows, Goku thought. Goku rushed to the lawn outside to meet his rival.
Vegeta landed in the sand in front of Goku. “Going somewhere, Kakarot?”
“Yeah, I was actually coming to see you, but looks like you saved me the trouble.” Goku spread his feet, on guard.
Vegeta chuckled. “To see me? To tell me something, no doubt, but I already know you impregnated my sister.” Vegeta smiled a wicked grin. “No worries, Kakarot. That little problem has already been taken care of!”
Goku gasped staring at Vegeta wide eyed. “What did you do to her?! TELL ME!” He raised his clenched fists in front of him.
“Kakarot, I merely extinguished our little problem. Don't worry, I didn't kill her,” Goku knew he was telling the truth, he still felt her burning energy. “But I'm sure I knocked her around enough to destroy that bastard seed of yours.”
“How dare you, you son of a bitch!” Goku's fist was clenched so tightly he felt blood flow around his fingers. “She cared about you! Why the hell would you want to do that to your own family, or to mine?!” Goku barely noticed Krillin, Eighteen, Marron and Master Roshi standing behind him.
Vegeta frowned, “You really have no clue about how much I despise you? I didn't mind living on this miserable planet with you, or after a while how you always managed to be stronger than me...but this,” he gritted his teeth. “You don't fucking mess with my blood line!”
Goku straightened and stared Vegeta down with eyes of ice. “Not your choice.”
“Oh but that is where you are wrong, Kakarot!” Vegeta charged Goku, but all that was left was an image of Goku where he had once stood. Goku was already flying away from Kame House, leading Vegeta out across the ocean away from the others.
“Don't run, you coward!” Vegeta rushed at Goku as a yellow blur, jabbing an elbow into Goku's back, sending him splashing into the water below. After a few moments, Goku slowly rose out of the water, dripping. He glared at Vegeta. He was done playing games with that arrogant bastard. Goku powered up, sending his aura flaring, spraying ocean water with his energy. A bowl of water formed below Goku from his power pushing it downwards. Goku let out a gut wrenching cry, sending his short spiky hair flowing down his back in a golden cascade, going to the third level of Super Saiyan. Goku's jeans and shirt ripped to make room for his bulging muscles. After a moment Goku's aura disappeared, sending a shower of water raining down around the two Saiyans.
“It ends here, Vegeta! You will pay with your life for what you have done!” Goku glared at him intensly with cold eyebrow-less eyes.
Vegeta smirked, jealousy flaring for a moment at seeing Goku ascend to what he could yet not. “I don't have to be able to go Three to be able to kill you!”
“I wouldn't count on that!” Goku cried, flying toward Vegeta. Vegeta copied Goku, flying toward the taller Saiyan. They met in the middle, both blocking the other's blow, sending electricity dancing across the water. Goku spun, burying a foot into Vegeta's side. Vegeta grunted, and returned the kick with a punch to Goku's face. Goku's head flung backwards, but he froze and then actually laughed. Vegeta flew backwards. Was Goku that much stronger than him as a level three?! Goku looked down at the smaller Saiyan, wiping the blood from his lip and spitting. “Have to do better than that, 'Prince.” He mocked, floating backwards. Vegeta bared his teeth. He was making a fool out of him! Goku teleported behind Vegeta, gripping both hands together and bashing Vegeta in the head, sending him splashing into the ocean. He watched Vegeta's body came floating to the surface. His golden hair faded to black meaning he was unconscious.
Goku placed the heels of his palms together and held them to his side, gathering energy. He was going to finish it, no more being soft. Vegeta was apparently never going to truly change.
“Ka...Me....Ha...Me...” Goku started, when suddenly the sky grew dark. The Eternal Dragon!
Someone had summoned Shenron, the Eternal Dragon. It was the only possible answer for the sky growing so dark in the middle of the day. Celria, Goku thought. He placed his two fingers to his head and teleported.
When he appeared he was standing behind Celria at a very demolished Capsule Corporation. Her clothes were ripped and she was scuffed up, but didn't appear to seriously injured.
Celria spun to look at Goku, wide eyed. Had he already killed her brother? She gulped. She barely recognized Goku in his Super Saiyan Three form. “What did you do to my brother?!”
Goku looked up at the giant dragon hovering above the company. She apparently hadn't made her wishes yet.
“He's still alive. Celria, what are you doing?” Goku started to walk toward her.
“Don't come closer, Goku, if you are even him!” she turned back toward the Dragon. “I'm going to fix all of this. I'm going to erase everyone's memory of me on this planet, and then I am going leave this planet for good, and no one will even remember me being here.” tears were streaming down her face. “It's all my fault all of this happened, I just came here and ruined everyone's life. Well, now I'm going to fix it!”
“No!” Goku cried, grabbing her arms. “You can't! I would never know my child! And,” his eyes were filling quickly with tears. “I would have no memory of you!” His voice cracked. “I love you, Celria! We can fix this a different way, please, I'm begging you..” He trailed off. His knees gave out and he fell on his hands and knees in the rubble. He sobbed loudly, sprinkling the ground with his tears. His body was trembling uncontrollably.
PLEASE, MAKE YOUR WISH, Shenron urged.
This was it. He screamed, crying, slamming his fists into the rubble and begging over and over for her to not do this to him. Celria paused, eyes flooding. She then slowly turned to the massive dragon in the sky. “Shenron, for my first wish...” Goku braced himself, shaking. “....I wish to make my brother accept my pregnancy as well as my relationship with Goku.”
Goku's breath caught in his throat, his eyes wide, staring up at the giant dragon before him.
IT SHALL BE DONE. The massive Dragon's eyes flashed red, then faded. NOW FOR YOUR SECOND WISH.
Goku stood on shaking legs, feeling light headed. Celria turned to him and smiled, “For my second wish, I wish for you to remove Vegeta's memory from before he attacked Bulma until this moment!” Celria called, spreading her arms wide.
IT SHALL BE DONE. The dragon's eyes flashed red and then faded, just as it had done the first time. YOUR WISHES HAVE BEEN GRANTED. FAREWELL. With that, the dragon faded from the sky. The Dragonballs rose into the air and shot off in every direction, making a high pitched whistle as they sped away. The black of the sky faded, revealing a perfectly blue cloudless afternoon. Even the rain clouds from earlier that day had vanished.
Goku picked Celria up in his arms, twirling her around in a circle. He buried his face into her neck and sobbed quietly, happy to still have his memories of his beloved and the chance to raise his child. Goku leaned down and kissed her lightly on the lips, shaking.
“You said you loved me,” she said, looking up into Goku's green eyes. Goku nodded, tears still running down his face. “I love you too,” she smiled. “whoever you are!”
Goku remembered he was still transformed, so in an instant, his long blonde locks vanished, leaving him with his usual black spikes and innocent face.
“Better?” Goku asked, picking her up and holding her in his arms.
“Much,” she smiled, and they kissed, feeling each others auras dance across their skin.
Vegeta surfaced in the ocean, gasping for air. “What the.... How in the hell did I end up out here!” Vegeta flew out of the water and headed for West City. “I sure have one hell of a headache to boot,” he mumbled, rubbing his head.
When Vegeta arrived in West City, he found his home in ruins, with Goku, Celria, Bulma, and Trunks standing amidst the ruble. Celria's clothes were torn, but she appeared perfectly normal.
He landed next to the group and placed his hands on his hips. “Would somebody mind telling me why my home is demolished and how the hell I got to be floating in the middle of the damned ocean?!”
Goku laughed and scratched his nose. “Umm, we were having a little get-together to celebrate our new baby, and Vegeta,” Goku walked up to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. “you had a little bit too much to drink!”
“Y-you mean you don't remember any of it?” Bulma asked, laughing nervously.
Vegeta blinked. “So you're telling me I destroyed my own home in a drunken rampage?!”
“Yeah, Dad, and then you flew off. You must have passed out over the ocean.” Trunks added, shrugging.
Vegeta walked around, kicking at a piece of broken furniture. He then remembered Celria. “Are you alright? You're clothes...” he gulped.
“I'm perfectly fine. It'll take more than a falling building to bring me down, brother!” She ran to Vegeta and wrapped her arms around his neck. He closed his eyes and returned the embrace.
Vegeta took a step back and rubbed his head. “I-I think I need a nap.”
Epilogue
Vegeta's fist swung swiftly to connect with Goku's face, but Goku easily dodged, dropping to the floor and further evading with a series of back flips. The two Saiyan princes were sweating heavily, the muscles in both of their bodies burning in protest. The low-class Saiyan is now a prince, too, Goku thought, grinning. Vegeta's pride never stood a chance.
Goku rubbed the sweat off of his face with the back of a hand. “That should be enough for today, Vegeta. I need to get back home before my wife kills me! Plus, I'm starving!” Goku grinned.
“Bah, that woman can wait!” Vegeta started, but Goku was already heading out of the gravity chamber toward the new and improved Capsule Corporation building. He stepped inside the cool air conditioned structure, feeling his hunger hit him full force when he caught a whiff of something delicious coming from the kitchen. He followed the smell and noticed Bulma and her daughter, Bulla, setting the dining room table.
“Hi, Goku!” Bulma chirped, waving a hand. “Did you get a good workout with Vegeta?”
Goku waved happily, stepping farther into the dining room. “Yep, sure did! Working with Vegeta is never a disappointment.”
“Good!” Bulma said, placing a fork onto a napkin on the table. “Do you want to stay for dinner?”
“Heck yeah I would!” Goku's eyes lit up. “I'm really hungry, and I'm sure Celria wont mind if I'm a few minutes late.” Goku grinned and looked for a place to sit at the table.
“So, how has Kasava been?” The now almost grown Trunks asked, taking a seat next to the taller Saiyan.
Goku leaned back in his chair, hands behind his head, starring at the ceiling. “Um, he's doing alright. He's just so stubborn and mischievous! I don't really remember Goten and Gohan being like that when they were kids.”
“Well he is a ten-year-old full-Blooded Saiyan.” Bulma took a seat across from Goku, the wrinkles around her eyes deepening as they narrowed. “ Aren't all Saiyan children like that?”
Goku turned his still youthful face to his old childhood friend. “Yeah, I suppose I would have been like that too, if I hadn't hit my head when I was a kid.” He traced a finger over the old scar on his scalp.
Bulma chuckled, “Well, you guys did decide to give him a Saiyan name!”
Suddenly the front door slammed open, banging loudly against the wall behind it. Celria rushed through the door, her now short hair swinging a few inches below her ears.
“Well, hi, honey,” Goku said, looking a bit puzzled.
“Goku!” she rushed to her husband. “I can't find Kasava anywhere!”
Goku chuckled, “He's probably not in any danger. I can find him in no time. Probably went off to play.”
“No Goku, he burned down our house! And then he flew off! I was too busy trying to put out the fire to go after him.” Her eyes filled with worry. “Would you please go find him.” She looked at the floor. “I'm not worried about him getting hurt, I'm worried he's going to hurt someone else!”
Goku stood, straightening his sky blue training uniform. “Don't worry, I'll find him.” He placed two fingers to his forehead and vanished.
Goku appeared behind his son. Son Kasava was standing on top of a cliff overlooking a town, shooting blasts of energy at the buildings below, sending people screaming in all different directions.
“Son!” Goku ran and grabbed his child in arms. Kasava jerked, but couldn't get free of his much stronger father's grip. “What do you think you are doing?! You could seriously hurt or even kill those people! It's bad enough you are destroying what they have worked their whole lives for!”he placed the Saiyan child on the ground. Goku kneeled on one knee to look him in the eye. Kasava stared back at his father with fierce determination. He looked just like Goku, except his his hair was his mother's chocolate brown instead of black, and his eyes were always fierce and narrowed. Goku placed a hand on his son's shoulder, which Kasava immediately jerked away from.
“They're fools,” Kasava stared at the grass. “And their lives are meaningless!”
Goku gasped. “How can you say that? We are on this planet for a reason, Kasava! To protect those who cannot protect themselves, not hurt them like you are doing here!”
He looked at his father and smirked. “Its all rubbish! We are the most powerful, father!” He spread out his arms “We can take anything that we want!”
“NO!” Goku felt his anger building, his hands clenched into fists. “No son of mine behaves this way!”
“Let me go, Father. You just hold me back with your righteous bullshit.” Kasava took a few steps away and then turned back to look at Goku. “It's in my Saiyan blood, Father.” He laughed and then vanished, leaving behind only an echo of the sinister laugh that had came from the child. Goku stood in awe. When had his son learned his Instant Transmission technique? But more importantly, when had his son started having these kinds of negative feelings? And the whole time, Goku just thought he was being a stubborn and mischievous child and didn't take any of those behaviors as warning signs.
A tear ran down Goku's cheek. “Then you leave me no choice, Son. When we meet again, we will settle this,” he whispered into the air. Goku turned to walk down the rocky hill of the overhang, the wind kicking up dust behind him.
