Summary: It’s Tyson’s first day at a new school as things go from bad to worse. He was late to school and ended up pissing off someone who he probably shouldn’t have but will a chance encounter in a closet change his views on this new school and one of its students?

I hated moving schools. It meant I had to leave behind all my old friends and try to find completely new ones. Gramps was calling me to hurry up and get ready to leave and I grumbled before I grabbed my stuff and ran out the door, down the hall.

There was a piece of toast on the table and I grabbed that for my breakfast. I left the front door open as I ran out to go to school and Gramps was out the door yelling at me as I left. I laughed as he complained about me stealing his toast.

When I got to the gates of the school, I groaned, today was going to be a horrible day because I was already late. There wasn’t anyone around anywhere and I hung my head as I left towards where I believed my first class was. It took me a while but I finally found my room, only now I was really late.

I knocked on the door and walked in. One of the students were talking and when I entered, he stopped and began to glare at me. The teacher looked over at me, “You must be Tyson Granger. I don’t like people being late to my class; I will let you off today because you are new but don’t let it happen again!” I nodded my head and looked around for a seat. The teacher spoke up again, “Go take your seat; you will be sitting over next to Kai.”

As I looked over to the student indicated, I realized it was the one I interrupted and it seemed like he already hated me. I spent the whole lesson fidgeting as Kai continued to glare at me, so when it came to the end of class, I had no idea what the teacher had said.

It seemed as though there was some force out to get me today because Kai was in everyone of my classes and in all of my classes I had to sit next to him, where he just kept glaring!
