The air was mild on this lovely summer day in July, the sky was a brilliant blue the sun was seeming to shine to give off just the perfect amount of warm sunlight that made the air feel very comfortable. The air its self was full of the sweet scent of ginger that grew in the dolomite soil along with ball ferns and Jacobs letters. There was pretty yellow and white flowers blooming on the jewel weed that grew along the clear cool stream that cut through the deep forest mountains of Montana also. Bees and butterflies danced about these flowers pollinating them the jewel weed leafs had what looked to be white diamonds pooled on dark green and light green marble swirled leaf. This was dew left over from the evening.

Birds were being noisy in the tree tops singing and chattering to one another, this day also gave way for a body to get out of the house and try for adventure or perhaps just starch ones legs after feeling like they had been cramped in their home to long.

As the forest was seeming to be a peaceful place, the peace was soon disturbed by the sound of hoofs thudding like dull thunder a cross the earth. Coming from the south of the forest heading due north, out of the thick undertow came a beautiful blonde horse with blue eyes. On their back they bore a lovely burden which was a young human male who was dressed in black jean shorts a black tank top and was bare foot. There long chestnut braid flew behind him from the speed in which the horse had been running.

The riders deep blue eyes with a tint of purple held much life in them. They seemed to catch stars and hold them captive at times. There face was youthful and fair, and seemed to hold much sarcasm and joking in the twist of their pink lips, and in the corner of their eyes. Which gave the young rider a very sexy face indeed, the body that belonged to the young rider was very beautiful indeed with nice feminine like curves, there flesh was nice milky color if they weren’t sitting on their bottom that too was a nice site. Their legs were nice smooth and toned looking along with their arms and chest they weren’t overly bulky most would say fairly skinny but still had good muscle tone. The male could prove to be deadly despite his looks.

If he came a upon an enemy they would regard this very good looking boy as easy prey and let their guard down and would easily be taken out. Now this young man didn’t have to worry about meeting enemies he had been saved now from all of that ten years ago by his friends and husband.


Now he lived in peace in the deep forest of Montana he was twenty six years old now had had many wonderful experiences in this ten year rein of peace. From watching his three children, taking their first steps, speaking there first words too potty training nightmares. To them losing their first tooth, also heaven for bid trying to explain the birds and the bees to a inquisitive ten year old.

Now was something that Duo wanted to try and avoid for a little while longer Duo was deep in thought of his children while he road bear back through the 2000 acres of forest in which belonged to Heero Quatre Trowa and himself. Though Xanatos was the smartest Duo thought over in his mind and when did he get so big. And so handsome he thought he was eleven though with long dark hair the color of Heero’s his eyes were dark brilliant blue he had Duo’s mouth and nose with Heero’s forehead eye brows and chin structure. The young baby fat was replaced by a thinner child body and face, his face was very youthful and handsome, he wore his hair in a high pony tail on his head with his bangs framing his face. He had Duo’s personality and Heero’s brains with of course much of his own personality mixed in. Thus naturally Duo and Xanatos would clash from time to time but they could for the most part get along.

Duo tugged lightly to the left of the reins that he had put on Snowthunder’s face he didn’t put a bit in his mouth he just put the bridle on so he could tap the horses neck with the reins verses tugging on his hair when he wanted the horse to go in a cretin way. The horse then bared to the right going down the path toward home. He came to the stream and Duo bent down holding the reins and riding with the flow of the horse as Snowthunder leapt easily over the stream.

“Good boy Snowthunder,” Duo praised his eleven year old male mustang he patted him on his pretty light neck as they trotted on toward the house though it was still a good three miles away. From where Duo had gone riding with Snowthunder after breakfast which was at nine am now it was nearing noon. Duo promised Shay he’d be home in time to taste her next big lunch she had been wanting to try.

Shay was a sweet heart Duo thought to himself, it seemed she picked up on Duo’s cooking habits fairly easy enough. She was the most laid back girl anyone could ever meet with a very overly friendly attitude sometimes. It seemed Shay got all of Duo’s happy go luckily nature and nothing of Wufei which Heero and Duo were happy about. Though that was on the inside, on the outside she looked more like Wufei she had shinny black hair but her eyes were more almond shaped like Edwards and Xanatos so they all had a Asian look to there eyes. Though they looked a bit almond shaped they were still larger than typical Asian eyes. Giving them nice big eyes like Duo with hint of Heero and Wufei none the less the children had big adorable eyes.

Shay’s eyes were dark grey with that same pretty purple swirl in them she was very smart as well. She had a great love for animals as well as cooking. Duo and Shay got along very well they rarely had conversations. Duo smiled thinking of their sweet daughter she normally kept her pretty long hair in two pig tails on the side of her head. She always kept him laughing or smiling that was for sure.

All the children were delight and Duo was very happy with this, as Heero and himself raised them to be kind and gentle. Though tempers will flare and tantrums still may occur, for the most part the children were well behaved.

Duo came closer to the edge of the forest he saw the opening leading out into the vast two mile starch of meadow leading to the house. His thoughts then drifted to Edward, he smiled again Edward was a mommy’s boy and he loved it though he looked almost like Heero besides that his hair was chestnut colored. He had a very youthful and handsome face Edward would have loved to go with his mother on the horse ride. Duo had really just needed to get away while the children did their studies Quatre and Trowa were normally the teachers. When it came to math and reading and spelling though of course Duo and Heero would always read to them whenever they asked and would help with home work when it was needed.

Duo just didn’t have the patients to teach, neither did Heero so the two were forever grateful to their friends for their help. Heero did however teach all the children about computers and how to fight. Duo taught them the art of pick lock and how to defuse a bomb also how to aim and shot a shot gun if the time ever arouse for them to have to deal with such things.

Duo was coming swiftly upon the wall now deep in his thoughts of his children and live gone by within the last ten years. When suddenly Snowthunder stopped in his tracks putting both hooves down and making a dent in the dirt, as he did this Duo was tossed over Snowthunder’s head as he went he used the momentum and flipped over making to land on his feet as he landed there as a loud creaking sound coming from below Duo’s bear feet.

Then the earth gave way under him as two trap doors slid open knocking the leafs and dirt down onto four foot spikes that were a good eight feet down. Duo had enough quick wit to grab hold of Snowthunder’s reins and as he did this, Snowthunder backed up enough to pull the braided young man from the deadly trap.

Duo turned over on his ass with his feet out before him “I’ll be damned! That scared the hell out of me” Duo said looking up at the flaring snorting Snowthunder his large blue eyes gave off the indication it scared him too. Duo got up on his hands and knees and crawled to the edge and gave a whistle “I don’t know how I ever escape death but I tend to do it a lot huh?” Duo said looking at Snowthunder who gave a small huffing in reply as if he really was answering Duo. “Well lets just get around this trap then I think you could jump over this don’t you?” Duo wondered to Snowthunder who still didn’t seem to want to move forward as if he was trying to tell Duo let’s turn around. In doing this Snowthunder turned his butt on Duo and began to walk the other way.

“Ah damn your trying to tell me there is more danger that way aren’t you boy, Man I need get back for lunch I promised Shay,” Duo huffed and walked around the horse and took his reins “Come on I hope this path will be better” He said to Snowthunder as they walked down a little side trail that would lead them to the meadow and the gates.

As Duo got a few feet down this trail a thick rope wrapped around Duo’s ankles and hoisted him into the air. Duo gave a cry of surprise and Snowthunder neighed loudly as his master was swept off his feet and was now hanging 12 feet in the air upside down with braid dangling down toward the ground.

“Shit what the hell!” Duo cried he had never gone outside of the high walls before but he had really wanted to see what was beyond the walls. Even though Heero warned him never to go out there of course Duo didn’t listen today and as they always say curiosity kills the cat or silly man in this situation.

As Duo was caught in the trap a high alarm system went off screaming throughout the two miles of land there was flashing lights and a camera light right in front of Duo’s face turned on. Duo had not noticed a camera tell the red light turned on it had been very well hidden in the tree branch.

“Damn it!” Duo shouted and covered his ears, Snowthunder decided to take his leave and run back the way they came where he’d go round about to the meadow that way even if it would take him twenty five minutes longer. Also he bolted because the alarms scared the hell out of the poor beast.

“Snowthunder come back boy it is ok!” Duo tried to yell after the frighten horse but this didn’t appear to work.

Shay had been happily making an Asian chicken salad for lunch today, she had aced all her school work by eleven this gave her plenty of time to prep the chicken. She was dressed in blue jean shorts and a pink short sleeved t-shirt that had a picture of a purple wolf howling on it with white stars surrounding it. She had her hair as ever braided into pig tails on her head she was cutting the chicken into tiny cubes at the counter which she could reach by standing on a sturdy wooden step stool.

Ace and Aries Duo and Heero’s Germen shepherd’s were both laying in a sun beam flooding through the back door. Ace rolled over from his back and perked his head up. He twisted his head to the side giving a little worried groan. Aries’s flicked his ear and noticed something as well sitting up straight he pawed at the back door.

Shay looked up after she scrapped the chicken cubes into the dark green lettuce leaves in the large salad bowl. “Aw boys you need to go potty?” Shay wondered and set the knife down and hopped off the stool and walked around the counter. She patted Ace on his head as he stood up he came to the middle of her torso. She reached up to open the back door when a metal door on the outside slammed shut likewise happened to the kitchen window.

Shay yelped and jumped back as the alarm went off through the house and the TV monitors popped on. In the kitchen and in the corner of the eating area, Shay looked up to see her mommy dangling upside down in the center of the monitor. She could hear him cursing from where he hung like a pig ready for the slaughter.

Edward was laying in the middle of his bed that had a dark green comforter on it reading a comic book about a sharp shooter His walls had dark green paint and he had a dark brown desk to the left hand side of his bed that was pushed into the center of his room it had a large flat screen computer monitor on it with a costume build computer given to him by Heero, he had nice hard wood floor. There was also T.V. Monitor in his room that came on automatically in the high right hand corner of his room that was in front of the bed while metal doors came shut at his window.

He dropped the comic and covered his ears, he was wearing black shorts and a green t-shirt that said Gun Slinger on the front. “Oh No Mommy!” Edward said really worried he tossed the comic book a side and slid off the bed Quatre and Trowa’s grey hound Za had taken a liking to Edward so he always stayed with Edward he had been laying on the end of the bed and hoped off with Ed. His ears perked up when he heard Ace and Aries start to bark he ran out of the room barking too, Then Danny’s deep bark could be heard coming down the hallway Edward opened his door and Za ran out after Danny the two made a bee line for the kitchen where the two dogs were howling the alarm was hurting their ears and it scared the dogs there only instinct they knew to do was to bark. Maybe hopefully scare away the loud noise themselves.

Quatre and Trowa had just settled down in the hot tub in the room and Trowa cocked a brow wondering what the hell could be going on. “Stay here Quatre I’ll go find out what is going on” He said standing up and waving for Quatre to stay seated when he made to get up as well. The ceiling light was closed of rendering the bathroom dark. Trowa slipped out of the bubbling water and put on his green robe that came to the tops of his knee caps he opened the drawer in the bathroom and took out a black hand gun. He then walked to the entrance of the bathroom and pressed his back against it and peered out carefully before walking out but he didn’t have to go too far and he smirked.

Quatre was feeling a bit worried but then Trowa returned and flipped on the bathroom light Trowa was seeming to have a hard time containing himself from laughter. “What is it Trowa?” Quatre wondered cause it took a lot to see Trowa get to this state. He watched his tall handsome lover pressed his back against the wall by the door and wrapped his arms around his slender waste he began to laugh. He managed to point toward the door.

“Go see for yourself!” Trowa managed to speak before the former zero three pilot slid to the floor and went on laughing so hard then he tossed his head back howling. He dropped the hand gun to the white tile floor that had mint green vines running round the outside of the tile with small green leaves coming from them.

Quatre smirked a bit Trowa’s laughter could be catchy but also it was freaky when his lover did this. Quatre got out of the water and walked to the doorway. “Oh My Goodness Duo!” Quatre gasped putting his hands t his mouth. “Poor Guy how does he always manage to get into situations like that?” Quatre had to wonder. Feeling sorry for him, “Trowa that isn’t funny Duo could have gotten really hurt.” Quatre said putting his fists on his hips looking at his laughing love.

“Ah Duo never really gets hurt he’ll be fine!” Trowa said managing to collect himself enough to whip the tears from his eyes. “Come on Heero will take care of him lets go back to what we were doing.” Trowa said standing up and picking the hand gun up and put it back in its place before removing his robe and stepping back into the water. Quatre sighed and fallowed Trowa and snuggled to his side after the two got cozy in the water again.

Heero and Xanatos were both in the living room when all of this happened Heero had his feet up on the coffee table and he was reading, with his ankles comfortably crossed over each other, he was wearing his comfortable green tank top and black spandex shorts as always. Xanatos had been playing a video game on the floor he was laying on his belly pushing the controls Xanatos was very absorbed in his game and was doing a very good job of passing the levels with flying colors. He was dressed in black overall shorts and had a white t-shirt on under it and his hair was up in its pretty high arching pony tail.

The T.V. Monitor above the actual wide screen T.V. came on and the windows in front room were closed off with the same metal doors. Xanatos sat up when the alarm went off and the dogs as well.

Edward came down the steps and ran into the living room along with Shay who hugged onto Heero’s side whimpering, Heero of course had just looked up from his book to see Duo dangling upside down in the center of the screen he cocked a brow. “Daddy, Mommy is hanging upside down!” Ed said worried from Heero’s other side.

“And the noises are so loud!” Shay pinned in nuzzling his side Heero’s book had been knocked from his grasp onto the floor. It landed open with a few of the pages bent. Heero put comforting arms over his two children and rubbed them on their backs softly.

Heero couldn’t help but have an amused look on his face, “SA off,” Heero spoke in his normal tone as if he wasn’t worried. Heero never carried an heir about him of worry, it was one thing he didn’t know how to express or feel. Now that would have been a pointless emotion now anyways. The alarms went silent right away to the relief of everyone’s ears from Duo’s all the way back to the house.

Xanatos sighed happy the annoying sounds were off, he giggled seeing his mother dangling in the air like that. “Mom looks like a piñata or something,” Xanatos commented before he picked up his controller again to play his game.

Heero then gave a high pitched whistle which made all four dogs stop going crazy and clam down right away, all four of them lay down with their chins between their paws.

“Xanatos!” Shay said sitting up “That isn’t very nice of you, Daddy please go save mommy please?” Shay said with tears in her eyes feeling bad for her mommy plus she had been crying before as the whole ordeal frightened her she wasn’t use to this. Shay didn’t like seeing anything bad happen to Duo or anyone for that matter. If it was her mommy it was worse than anything she could think of really.

“Don’t worry Shay sweet heart your mommy is just fine but if you want me to go and save him you’re going to have to let me go,” Heero said giving her a more soft look that might have a shadow of a smile to it. “Same with you Edward” Heero said poking his smallest son on his ribs who was still clinging to Heero with his eyes clamped shut.

Edward giggled and let Heero go and sat up “Alright Daddy,” Ed said and slid off the sofa “Yeah Xanatos don’t make fun of mommy like that It isn’t nice.” Ed said crossing his arms. “You should be nicer to mommy big brother isn’t that right Dad?” Ed wondered looking up at Heero as he stood up with Shay still attached to his side. This didn’t seem to hinder or bother Heero at all as if Shay was no weight to him in the lest.

“Of course,” Heero said rubbing Xanatos’s head “but the observation in which Xanatos has made is kind of true as piñata’s do dangle from ropes in trees.” Heero said giving a little snickering he couldn’t help it then it turned into a full blown chuckle. He looked up at the monitor as he heard the love of his life using the most colorful language the braided boy could probably think off.

“Gah Fucking shitty, stupid mother fucking bastard trap, this is so damn annoying fuck, fuck, fuck FUCK!!!!” Duo’s curses could be heard throughout the house on the speakers.

“Duo!” Heero spoke up as there was also a small volume and microphone in the camera so Duo would be able to hear. “Duo sweet heart what are you doing setting off my perfectly good traps. Sweetie those are made for intruders not you.” Heero teased him as he watched Duo’s face twisted up into a very cute annoyed look.

“Mommy!” Shay called, up to the screen “You shouldn’t be using the F word it is not nice,” Duo heard his sweet little daughter’s cute voice come out through the microphone to reprimand him.

Heero watched Duo put his hand to his forehead and close his eyes, “Well I am sorry sweetie but mommy is a little angry right now and when that happens I have no control over what I say…BUT that doesn’t mean your aloud to swear only I can.” Duo said now swinging back and forth on the rope for the hell of it like an upside down sexy bat. Though his face was becoming very red now.

“Well I don’t think you should be swearing ever no one should,” Shay said as Heero plucked his daughter from his side and set her on her feet.

“Yeah your right Shay maybe we should leave mommy out there for a few hours to teach him a lesson what do you think Shay?” Heero wondered keeping a very perfect straight face the whole time.

“WHAT!” He heard Duo bellow and his face he made didn’t look very happy at all.

“Daddy….” Shay gave him that tone that said that wasn’t nice either, “please go help mommy even if he does use bad words he doesn’t deserve that.”

Edward nodded in agreement “I agree I vote for getting mommy down right now!”

“Thank you Edward, I knew you were always on my side and thank you Shay” Duo said with a smile “But it would be nice if I could get down soon as the blood is kind of rushing to my head and it doesn’t feel to great.” Xanatos stuck his tongue out at the monitor when Duo or Heero wasn’t looking before he went back to playing his game.

“Alright I’ll come get you, I was only joking,” Heero chuckled again, as he headed for the back door he told the shields to go down then got a knife and opened the door and let the dogs run out. He told the kids to stay in the house and Shay could finish lunch as he was sure Duo would be really hungry after something like this happened.
