Angel of Death
A/N Alright ppl, this is my NaNoWriMo fic that I wrote only in November. I am not claiming that it is good, though I will say that this is the most smut I have ever written in my life.
Now, at the start of NaNoWriMo, I intended to only do one fic. However, that didn't happen. So in order to reach my word count I added on three more stories in the same universe. Technically, this is the last story in the series, but in order for the others to make any sense, I'm uploading this one first and going to call the other three sidefics.
Hope you enjoy!!!!!

“Trowa!” The voice rang throughout the throne room with little effort.
“Yes lover?” The man on the throne smiled up at the green eyed boy. His response time was usually something to envy, but today the boy was there before the last echo had faded.
“I know how you hate these assignments, but 01 and 05 are already topside.” Trowa hid his cringe. The only assignments he usually dreaded were the ones that required him to work with new Tenshi’s.
“Who and what are we doing?” Receiving a gorgeous smile, Trowa sighed, Duo could always made him melt with that grin.
“Treize has decided that his new girl is ready for an assignment, and yes, I know, I usually have Chang take on the assignments with new Tenshi’s, but he’s preoccupied. All I want you to do is coach her, tell her what to do…maybe show her how to do it once, but then just stand back.” The taller brunette nodded glumly. “I’ll make it worth the trouble when you get back.”
The green eyed boy couldn’t help the smile that formed without his consent. That was definitely an incentive to do this as quickly as possible. Bowing as he left his lover‘s side, Trowa hurried to Treize’s room. He really hoped this new girl had some raw talent that would allow her to complete the assignment in a reasonably quick manner.

“Target sighted. Observe and repeat.” Trowa ordered the new Tenshi.
Allysa sat on the park bench and watched as Trowa stood and casually walked over to a young woman with a pail yellow cloud around her that was flickering like a candle. Watching as the green eyed boy passed her, barely grazing against her side, Allysa felt her eyes widen. The emerald green aura surrounding the boy seemed to sense that the yellow was fading. The green aura seemed to grab onto the yellow aura where Trowa had lightly touched the woman and in a matter of seconds, the green had forcibly removed the remaining color off of the woman’s body.
“She’s not our target.” The red head commented when Trowa returned.
“One less for an Earth Bound to take. The flickering in the color means that they have less than a week left. Taking their soul is painless and it allows them to die without the pain that comes with losing your body.” Receiving a hesitant nod from the brown eyed girl, Trowa gave her the go-ahead to take her first soul.
Allysa didn’t waste any time, it seemed she wanted this to be over just as quickly as he did. Trowa grimaced as she bumped into the man and kept going. She’d make a good Tenshi with practice. Though…he did have to take away points for that obnoxious orange aura around her. Paying close attention to exactly where the pink and pale pink separated, Trowa followed at a leisurely pace, brushing against the man’s coat and taking his soul as he joined the irritated looking red head.
“Try again, make the connection last longer so you get a better hold.”
“Who’s that?” Trowa turned in the direction she had pointed before he could stop himself. He really wanted to get back to his lover.
“That would be an Earth Bound. They’re angels like we are, but they’re forever on earth. This is what they are good at, but you see how their aura is more vibrant, brighter, than the humans? That’s the easiest way to tell the difference. Then there are the Tenshi’s that haven’t been found yet. They’re just as bright as we are, but the color isn’t exactly an aura. It actually looks like their skin is glowing that color, not like the auras that hover around everyone’s bodies. Though the odds of finding one of them is about a billion to one, so don’t get your hopes up.”
“Am I allowed to ask why you have wings when no one else does?” Trowa felt a smile tug at the corner of his lips. He rarely remembered that he had wings. They were transparent and could only be seen if the light was hitting them just right. They were part of his, and his lover’s auras, they didn’t have any physical mass to them…at least, none but Duo‘s did. They had spent hours in bed watching each other’s wings, touching the auras softly to bring their lover‘s pleasure.
“It’s because Duo is Shinigami. Will be Shinigami.” He corrected himself. “Duo will become the God of Death, when we find the last of our five. Duo will be Shinigami and the rest of us will become Shi no Tenshi, or Angels of Death. That is why we have wings when no one else does.” The girl just nodded in understanding. Good, maybe now he could get her to take a soul so he could get back to -
“Can we ever take souls that aren’t flickering?” Allysa asked as she waved to the Earth Bound that had just been looking at them. Trowa nodded to the boy who then proceeded to leave the park. At least the Earth Bound knew a training when he saw one.
“Yes. Usually just unfound Tenshi’s but…when you get better, you’ll start being sent out for murderers and people like that.” Trowa paused as he took in the park and zoomed in on a little girl that was running through the park toward the swing set. He gave a slight sigh when he saw how close her aura was to going out. Children were always the hardest. “Stay here for a moment. Watch the girl on the swings.” Allysa did as told and watched the small child climb into one of the swings while Trowa went to talk to her mother.
“Excuse me, Miss? My fiancée is pregnant and she would just love to push your daughter on the swing for a little while. She’s desperately hoping that we have a little girl.” He finished with a dazzling smile. The woman couldn’t help but return the smile at the happy news and nodded. Trowa returned to the other Tenshi and instructed her to go push the child.
“I can’t take her sou-”
“It gives an excuse to touch her again and again until you get it right. I know it’s hard, but it will be good practice for you.” Allysa slowly shook her head, she couldn’t take a child.
“No. I can’t-”
“Your first solo mission is always a child. Shinigami wants to know if you can handle it.”
“Yours was a child too?” Trowa sighed fully, he still had nightmares about his first mission. He hated talking about it with people, but if it would get her to finish her mission, he would suffer.
“An orphanage was suppose to burn down. I took all of the children the day before. I had posed as a man that was looking to adopt and was able to meet each child. Well, one of the new Tenshi’s decided that they could avoid this entire mess by taking the arsonist before he did it. The children had to die, they were set to die that night. After we realized what the Tenshi had done…the building still had to burn down. Since it was my mission, I had to do it. If you can’t take a child, you’ll never get missions.” Allysa had nearly started crying, but had somehow managed to hold back the tears before making her way over to the little girl trying to figure out how to get the momentum to swing.
“Would you like to be pushed?” The child looked to her mother who gave a smile and nodded. The girl smiled brightly and gave a rapid nod. Allysa took a deep breath before stepping behind her and getting to work.
2 * 1 * 5 * 3 * 4
After nearly twenty minutes of standing in an alley and letting the poor girl cry her eyes out, Trowa lightly touched her shoulder. He hated to be mean, but they had to go soon. Not because of him wanting his reward for being a good boy and dealing with the new Tenshi, but a Tenshi’s time on earth was limited. They could only stay on earth for a certain amount of time each day or they would become an Earth Bound. He told her as much before he took her hand and pulled her out of the alley.
“Why didn’t we just go back from there?” She asked, trying to rub the tear tracks off her face. People they were passing were giving her funny looks. There was nothing she could do about the red eyes, but she could at least wipe away what evidence of crying she could.
“Camera’s at the other end of the alley. When you do this on your own, you’ll have to be very careful about being seen. Be sure that you’re out of sight when you come back.”
“Am I ever going to understand all there is to know about being an Angel?” Trowa smiled as he rounded the corner of a high school building.
“When you’re older, I’m sure you’ll be a very good Tenshi. For example, did you know that where we are standing right now, there are no cameras that can see us? Feel around, make sure you’re alone, then we’ll know if it’s okay to go back right now or not.”
“I think it’s okay.” Allysa stated as she looked around them.
“When you’re older, or maybe I should say more experienced, you will be able to feel other people’s auras to know for sure if you are alone or not. Grab on and we’ll go.” Trowa stated as he opened his arms. Allysa sure as hell wasn’t his type, but she couldn’t will herself between plains of existence yet, so she needed to grab onto someone who knew what the hell they were doing. The red head wrapped her arms around his torso and waited for the non-existent feeling that came with going back to Limbo.
“Here we go-”
“Who is that?” Trowa glanced to the side her head was facing and gasped as he was pulled through empty space.
“Go back to Treize, tell him that I give you a four. He’ll know what that means. I have to report to Shini.” Trowa didn’t hesitate to turn and head down the hall. Allysa wasn’t stupid. That boy that had been walking behind the school didn’t have an aura. He was literally glowing a shade of light blue. He was an unfound.
