The scenery looked straight out of a story book, the sun shining brightly across a lake and the shoreline covered in a field of flowers.

After having done so, both children raced off to find Master Roshi and bring him to Fire Mountain so he could quench the flames for good. Doing so however, lead to the mountain being completely destroyed; and the less said about that, the better.
In the end, after a scolding from his old master, the Ox-King decided to make amends for his misdeeds and live among the people and grant them aid in their daily lives.
Before Goku and his friends left, Chi-Chi talked with him and asked him if he would marry her as she had taken a liking to him. Goku however was painfully innocent and naive, so not knowing any better, he agreed when them met again; only because he believed marriage was a meal of some kind.
Now though, believing Goku was on his way to the village to marry her, Chi-Chi found herself here picking flowers. Little did she know that her "fiance" had just noticed her as he was sitting in the nearby apple tree stuffing his face with apples, the young boy being on a journey to find his late grandfather's keepsake, the 4 star Dragon Ball.
