Behind that Son Smile

Act I

Pan smiled her eyes shining bright
as she hugged the happy couple. Pan was nineteen now and still in love with
Trunks. He knew that she loved him all her life Pan had told him when she was
seventeen, Trunks had let her down easy saying she was a child and would find
some one her age some day that was the day Pan had learned to smile in immense
pain that day Trunks had broken her heart, but today Trunks crushed her soul he
was marrying Marron in six months the agony was killing her but she smiled that
Son smile.

P\'>Pan smiled for three hours she had
congratulated the happy couple everyone except Vegeta seemed happy at the
prospect of the impending nuptials. It was that day when Pan started dying inside
she had always hope that one day Trunks would see her than more than a little
girl but a woman. Pan had matured a lot over the years she had brains and
beauty and she was the strongest female on the planet but all that meant
nothing as she watched the man she loved with all her soul pledge to love
another woman.

Pan had left the party while it was
still in full swing she made excuse of having a meeting early the next day but
in truth she had to get away Pan couldn’t breathe the effort it had taken to
smile had cost her dearly she had to be alone her body felt exhausted for some
reason and all she wanted to do was sleep and play some music and lose her self
and not smile for a while.

Pan had moved out of her Parents
house five months ago she had a great job and money thanks to her grandpa Satan
so living on her own was not a big deal. For the first time since Pan got her
apartment she took no pride in coming home all her hope and dreams had surrounded
Trunks and he had effectively crushed them Pan couldn’t even be angry she just
felt hollow as if she was falling and there was no end no one to catch her she
was lost in despair trapped in pain only a saiyan that had been denied their
mate can feel. Pan took a shower and put on some music on play repeat as she
turned the music up she laid covered up from head to toe letting teartears fall
as the music swallowed up the sounds.
