*snerk* offended male readers! We have those here? huh. Who knew? LOL!! Your response to Nomme de Plume about "Roy has not put Mr. Happy in the hole yet" had me on the floor! XD Why is it that the oddest things will just hit you right and you can't stop laughing? :) I'm dying to know what it is that Al was working on! Archer and his jack-booted thugs would have to show up and ruin everything. bastards. I'm sure that sorry sonofabitch Archer will try to use whatever it is against Al. *sigh* Nobody took Sig's knife did they? It just broke or got damaged somehow right? With Envy/Urayamu running around you don't want a thing like a knife to come up missing all of a sudden! Especially since Envy is trying to get info from Russell about the "People's Army", the fewer weapons he has the better! :) I hope Ed and Roy manage to work things out. Ed seems to be making some progress sorting things out. Well, at least he's able to think rationally now anyway! They obviously care about one another and just need to find a way to make it work. Not keeping secrets *glares at Roy* would be a good place to start! :) I also hope Roy has enough people watching his back! If anybody turns on him, I think it will be Havoc. There's still a lot of animosity between Roy and Havoc from that big fight they had that this Douglas character will be sure to use to his benefit.
Hail to the fuhrer! (Love it!! :D)
    Update soon!

Another very thrilling chapter, given the fact there are many problems that could happen anywhere at anytime. I'm really paranoid when it comes to this story! You know, with Edward being... I guess you could say... A legend? A heroin? Eh...one of those things and him being close to the military, you never know what will happen if someone gets ahold of him. And the scene with Al and Winry, eh, that made me paranoid something bad would happen too. Of course, with an awesome story such as this, it's even better w/suspense. And goshdurnit I hate Archer also. I used to get him confused with Kimblee (sp?) when I first began reading, but after all of the times of reading the manga and/or watching the anime, I could definitely tell the difference. Kimblee is so much sexier... and pretty maniacal, which is so fun.

Poor little Roy, always so hard on himself... putting himself down, etc. Why can't he just sit there and think things out before he does something? I mean, he just said it to himself and he still doesn't think about what he's doing!! HELLO, ROOOY? ARE YOU IN THERE!? EDWARD JUST LEFT!!! AND HE IS MOLESTABLE!!! At least get someone to go after him that you can trust. (it's a little hard to trust though, because of all the lies and deceptions of the military)

I feel sorry for Teach', but it's inevitable that she will die sooner than she is supposed to. I mean... she lost essential...THINGS...in her body. But I do hate her butting in on the Tringamcest (again, I fail to remember how to spell their names XD!

Where is Hawkeye? (just a random thought that came up) What is her part in all of this right now, or did I forget something. (I read too many RoyEds and I get confused @_@) Err, yeah.

So is Edward pretty much going to get his automail fixed somewhere else? And I AM DYING to know what was on that goshdurn letter that Al was writing.

I also love the element of military/political/wateva stuff you have going on! It's what I love to figure out.

Oh, this is so intriguing, once more, and I will be awaiting the update with fervor.

omg! are they going to try and get havoc to like, betray roy?!! no!!! and i wonder if that personal letter al was writing was maybe to ed, cause archer didn't believe al was ed's brother and then he's all 'i just don't see it.' but i wouldn't be surprised if i'm wrong.

anyway, i don't know how this story could get any more suspenseful, but i'm sure you'll manage it, and when that happens i'm probably going to cry. regardless, update soon!!

*wibbles* "I’m sorry, Ed...but I can’t tell you, can’t involve you, because...I want to protect you." *wailing sobs* Oh, you're killing me! T_T Roy, you idiot!, why didn't you say something?!? *throws a book at Roy* You're supposed to lean on each other not push each other away!! *sigh* I don't know who is worse - Roy for letting Ed go or Riza for saying Ed should leave! Damn! That was kinda harsh for Riza to say those things about Roy. "You can do better. You can find a better roommate than that." ouch! I thought she cared more than that! I don't know if tough love will work in this case. I know she wants to get Ed out of what she sees as a bad situation but just abandoning Roy to deal with his problems on his own is not a good idea - no guarantees he won't end up worse off than he already is! I would like to think that Riza said those harsh things to test Ed's resolve - make him take a good long look at this relationship and decide if it's really what he wants and make him aware of the hardships to come if he stays. I would also like to think that Ed's leaving, even if only temporarily, will finally make Roy hit the proverbial rock bottom and finally get a grip on his alcoholism. *shivers at the bad memories that word brings back* Time away from Ed will (I hope) make Roy take stock of himself and get his life back in order. After all, he can't become fuhrer if he's busy drowning his sorrows in alcohol! Hail to the fuhrer! *giggles*

Yay, yay, Happy dance. I know I never review here, but I will this time. So sad, that Riza wants to help them both but you can't make someone change.

i knew that was why roy didn't tell ed anything. oh and, heh, my drink is an amaretto sour. i just love those!

this chapter made me a bit sad. sad about their relationship, sad about riza trying to - for protection reasons - break them up, sad that it's just so realistically and beautifully written that i absolutely can't yell at you for it!!! *sigh*

oh, and, have roy and ed actually had sex yet, or are we still working on ed's naive musings of a chaste child? i can't rightly recall...

Omg, I love you. Those are the kind of conversations I live for too! And ya know? They actually made sense...and made my brain work a little... and I wasn't left to gape like a weird fish from the hurt of my brain... it actually was comprehendable (is that a word? ahh, who cares?). Anyways, I love this story...but I really hate what's happening between Ed and the colonel! I mean, why can't it be more like before? I know that all types of relationships have fights, families, partners, friends... but damn! I hate fights so much. I know it must be all for the cause though. Omg, and I despise Ed smoking x_X!! (although it does relieve stress and makes sense) Roy should listen to Hughes's advice and quit that damn drinking (stupid source of problems!!) Does Roy know what he did to Ed yet? When he was drunkdededed? That was kinda horrible... but I know... it's still all for the cause.

I definitely love what you have going here...so much!! ^_^ You rock.

Now, I wonder what's going on w/Al and Russell? Although I do take prepensities towards the Roy/Ed scenes more. Poor little Ed... he just loves the colonel.

WOW!! Awesome chapter!! All hail soon-to-be-Fuhrer Mustang!! LOL! My favorite line: "We’ll just let the people choose their dictators". ROFL! I love the way you've punched all kinds of holes in the theoretical fabric of democracy! :D After reading your take on democracy I don't think we are as free as we think we are. :) We really are just sheep being led around by those who think they know what's best for us. Another poignant moment, when Mustang said, "But, if those who are elected can be taken out of office, then what power do they really have?". Unfortunately, the power they do have for the time they have it can do a great deal of damage. All it takes is for a few of these representatives to be persuaded to vote a certain way and the next thing you know you're stuck in the middle of nasty war. I don't think I'll be able to look at any political figure now without thinking of them as being little dictators! :D

I really feel Ed's pain. It's no fun being out of the loop even if it is for your own good. Ed wants to help Roy but Roy doesn't want his help. I think Roy's doing this to keep Ed safe from harm, out of the line of fire so to speak. Ed has never shied away from a fight so this has to be really frustrating for him. Roy's "little child" comments were a bit much tho. However true it might have been he didn't have to call him out like that! :) He should know that's like throwing a match on gasoline! :D I couldn't help but laugh a little at the fight they had! Ed was acting a bit childish but exhaustion will do that do you. (Sorry Ed dear, but you were being a bit bratty. *hugs Ed* Ed, none too pleased, squirms away and escapes from the crazy fangirl!) It couldn't have hurt anything to tell Ed just a little bit of what's going on. After all, forewarned is forearmed! And besides, it is more than a little ironic that they can share a bed but not one secret! :)

Loved it when Ed pulled rank of the two soldiers! Serves 'em right, the swaggering bastards! I think that's the first time he's done that. :) I get so tickled at the names of all these drinks. Who in the world came up with all this stuff? Suffering Bastard? Amaretto Sour? Fiery Blue Mustang? Mojito? Applejack? I'm as clueless as Ed is about all this alcohol stuff but I do like all the crazy names for drinks. :) I liked Ed's challenge. "How about I quit smoking when you stop drinking." Too bad neither one of them took it seriously. *sigh*

I like how Ed called Mustang on his insufferable superiority this chapter - he may be trying to protect Ed, but he can't have Ed as an equal partner and then just order him not to want to know things.

Jeez. What a dark chapter. Foreboding abounds! I can't help but be afraid that Russell will meet the same fate as Roland. It pays to heed that little voice in the back of your head that says, "Don't do it!". I was actually kinda hoping that Al could be persuaded to join the military's side. That way, he could be reunited with Ed and not have to fight against him in the coming conflict. If only it hadn't been Archer who approached Al then things might have gone differently. Knowing Archer and Kimblee, things in Risembool will go downhill quickly and Al might be inclined to listen to Russell and join up with him. I hope not. I, like Winry, would like for him to be able to stay out of this mess but the chances of that happening are looking slimmer by the minute. *sigh* One can always dream, yes? :) Maybe next chapter we'll get to see how things are going with Roy and Ed. I hope Fuery will be OK too.
