I knew you were teasing me with the Roy coming back comment. :) I just hope you got everything I wrote since it's not all there in the review. I wrote more than just that one line. I was quite the drama queen with my pouting if I remember correcty. :) I wonder why it didn't post? weird. I get so hopeful with every new chapter that Roy will reappear but, so far, nothing. :( At least there is the hope that Roy is still alive somewhere thanks to Dr Knox! Good ol' Dr Knox! Where would we be without him! :) "Odd tastes" huh. Uh, yeah, I think he's on to ya, Ed! ;) I can not wait for Roy to finally come home!!! The waiting is killing me! :D

hmm. Now why was Jean just loitering around Ed's neighborhood like that? Kinda suspicious if you ask me. He calls to make sure Ed is going to be out of the house to visit Kain, he's supposedly "heading toward a friend�s place", and Ed finds a desk drawer that he knows he didn't mess with slightly open. hmm. Me thinks maybe Jean is up to something. Snooping? Spying? Or, better yet, maybe he really IS heading toward a friend's place, Roy's new hiding place! :) OOH! Has Roy finally healed and escaped his captivity? Did Roy send Jean to his house to get something for him? Has Roy been playing possum all this time to throw off his other enemies? I wonder who else knows and is helping him work in secret like this. Hawkeye probably if no one else. She would never leave Roy's side at a time like this. Meaning Ed is on the outside again 'cause Roy is trying to "protect" him again. *sigh* You see what giving me a smidgen of hope does? My imagination runs amok with fanciful conspiracy theories and dreams of Roy's triumphant return! :D
me: Come home soon Roy! Both Ed and I miss you terribly!
Ed: I don't miss him!
me: Then why were you crying?
Ed: I wasn't crying! The aftershave irritated my eyes s'all.
me: hmm. If you say so.
Ed: *glares*
me: *grins*

*cries* Poor Kain!! He can't defend himself against these evil bastards!! ;_; Hey wait. She wants him to continue to spy on Ed AND Roy? hmm. Did she just drop a hint that Roy is alive? Maybe I'm just reading too much into her words. The bitch is already lying so who knows if anything else she says is the truth. :( "Atrocities committed by the colonel"?!?! WHAT!!! Oh it's on now biatch!

Not much going on with Al and Winry this time. They made up, made plans for the wedding, and Al FINALLY decided to go find Ed. I wonder what Al will think of Ed when he finds him. Ed now smokes, drinks, and has taken over Roy's position. Al may not even recognize Ed when he sees him in uniform (which Ed looks un-by God-believably gorgeous in!! w00t! *drool* Sweet Jesus hallelujah I love me some Ed in uniform!! :D). It's funny that Al is worried that Winry will hook up with Ed! We know that's not even remotely possible but he doesn't! I wonder if Al will freak out or be relieved (or both) when he finds out that Ed is with Roy. I'm still mad at Al for not kicking Russell/Envy out of the house before now. Any man who allows someone to annoy his lady the way Russell/Envy has isn't much of a man if you ask me. The sooner Russell/Envy is gone the better!

chapter 41:

...AAAARRGG!!! *hyperventilating* i can't believe this. i CANNOT believe this!! okay, it's time to kick some humunculus ASS!! i couldn't pick between pride/sloth and envy, but i think i choose sloth, then pride, then envy, with lust after that.
kain can't... kain won't... damnitall!!! this isn't faaaaaiiir!! they're gunna feed him LIES to make him be bad! I WON'T ALLOW IT!! i challenge the humunculi to a fight to the death! and then i'll kill dante too, just for good measure! wait... i can't even remember the back story to this. dante's the one in charge here, right? *is feeling retarded* it's been too long since i've read this. BUT ANYWHO!!
yay! roy might not be dead (which i totally knew but had no proof). who the hell shot him, anyway? and who got into his desk drawer? i know ed didn't do it, so who did? and envy! al needs to get rid of him NOW!! i'm on winry's side on this: shove him in a ditch, bury him with concrete, and leave him for dead!
well... i think i ran out of things to rant about, so i'll try to stop. just, please! keep writing! i need to know what happens next!!~

NO! Not sweet, little Kain?! Those evil bastards! I hope he comes to his senses! And wasn't a very compramising photo of Ed in the drawer in Roy's bedroom? Man, when you do plot, you do plot! There is so much going on int this story its incredible!

Another absolutly fantastic chapter!

nope, haven't had a chance to try the drink yet. between moving stress and work stress i actually forgot all about it.

this chapter had a lovely bittersweet tone to it. i really enjoyed it. but...poor kain. poor, poor kain.

arrrg!! i can't believe this! when i started reading, i was really hoping it was completely done, but of course it's not. i mean, it's only forty chapters... i really love this story, and i SO knew it was ed calling! ed should not be drinking so much, but it's okay. i don't think he'll do it too much. i hope. damnit. AL!! okay, i am like *twitch*. i might not stop again until i finish. this is so good! i really want envy to get caught, and i don't want anything to happen to al or winry. and havoc needs to not be an a-hole. because i don't like side of him. i like his new crush on riza, though. never really thought about it. anyway!! i hope whatever ed has planned works out!!~

*random squealing noises of irritation* noooo!! as much as i'm mad at mustang, he can't DIE!!! that wasn't in the aggree meant! he deals or ed leaves! there was no option of DYING!! damnitall! this isn't fair! he won't die, right? he just finally admitted his feelings. to hawkeye, no less, but he thought it was ed, and that's what counts!! and envy! he needs to get the fuck away from al and away from rizembool. in fact, i hope archer and them catch and hang him! that would be the best thing ever. grr... so many things to make me upset!!! poor izumi. i hate that she's dying. and i wanna know what ed did to get al's body back!! chapter 30:

almost forgot to review. i wanted to keep reading! the poem was cute. i knew it was for winry almost since the first mention, and i guessed poem when he was complaining to himself about mediocrity. and sig found ed!! i hope al and them get a phone call. and what the hell is envy doing? i hate him. i hope russel gets away. i'm afraid envy's going to use this info to do something baaaaaaaad. damnit. and roy!! you fucking asshole! you did to rape his mouth! and you have a problem! ...i'm so confused. to be honest, i don't know what i've read. archer is an ass, and ed needs to call home. envy... envy is weird. russel is in trouble, and i'm irritated that izumi is so anti-yaoi-cest. anyway, i wonder what al was writing... and roy is a fucktard. i don't care that he thinks he's doing this for ed's benefit; he's hurting him, damnit! and i hate seeing ed get hurt! i want to know what everybody but ed knows, i want to know what ed did to get al's body back, and i agree with hawkeye. ed needs a new 'roommate'. to be honest, i think havoc would be a cute choice for him. not for this, but in general. anyway, i'm comPLETEly off topic. this is a great fic, and i hope to read more soon!~

oh! i totally called russxfletch way back when russel left and they snuggled up in his sleeping bag. and OHMYGOD!!! no! russels is NOT gonna get shot when he gets to rizembool, is he? i will be SO pissed. and roy is still an ass. and poor fuery! damnit!! he's gotta be okay. *wants to shake something, mustang being the first item to come to mind* why?? i'm so confused, and i've been chewing on my fingers for the last four or five chapters now!! chapter 21:

okay. this is getting really heavy. roy is an asshole. plain and simple. he has a problem, and ed needs to leave. damn. and i really like them together too. but damn. i read a review from someone else, which i wish i hadn't because it said a couple things i haven't read yet, but i agree with them now. ed needs to get out and find someone else. and there's probably more of the abuse, both alcohol and physical and probably some mental, to come that i haven't read yet. *blinkblink* i just realized i'm more than halfway through what's written so far! wow. anyway, it's beddy-bye time. -_- i sound like a kindergartner. anyway, until i return, this has been excellent!!~

okay. this is looking good. roy finally got some answers, though he did get them the wrong way. ...i love angst. i think there's something wrong with me sometimes, but other times i think it's because i can relate to it. especially angst when there's no real reason for it. this is looking really good and i can hardly wait to come back!~

This is not a criticism, it's my personal opinion.

I do not like your Roy/Ed. At all. I like your writing, I like some of your characterizations, I REALLY like your Sound of Silence fic, but overall, I hate your Roy/Ed. It's not romance to me, it's abuse. Through and through. It never seems like a healthy relationship. Roy never seems to respect Ed as a person. I just can't bring myself to like it, no matter how hard I try. Normally I hope Roy and Ed come together in the end, but with this all I can think is, "Ed, listen to Hawkeye and FIND SOMEONE ELSE."

I mean, I think you're talented and all, but I just don't like the way you portray their relationship.
