Thanks for updating. Like Big Brother Havoc...ready to kick Mustang's ass...nice. Poor Ed...still getting tangled up in messy problems and now too excited and unable to do anything about it. At least he has alchemy!! (You know how excited that makes him...hahaha). Nice to see that there is still something between them. I hope they have the time to solve Liam's problem but I know Karen is out there..somewhere. But if she finds out the tat is now on Mustang maybe she will focus on him. The sad part is she knows she can use Liam to get to Mustang so no matter what they do she will use everything she can against them. Part of the suspense for me is wondering where is she....Still wonder about that last line...what Mustang does not know will not hurt him...makes me wonder what Ed really meant by that or what it would mean later in the story.

Great story! I love it very much =) I like how the situations are believable. Most of the stories i read on here are just kind of random and stuff, and everything is really OoC. Update soon, eh? ^___^

Ack! LOVED that last chapter, definitely one of my favs! And thanks for updating! 2 chapters, wooooo!!! :) ............ Ok, i'm too excited to keep this to myself. A NEW FULLMETAL ALCEHIMIST ANIME SERIES IS IN PRODUCTION!!!! It's going to air in Japan on April 5th of THIS YEAR!!! 2009!!! Oh what a glorious year it is! ^o^ I can't wait! From what I gather they're doing a complete remake of the entire series, start to finish, only this time they're going to follow the manga storyline (which is MUCH better in my opinion)! And if you want to read the manga volumes that haven't come out in english yet, excellent translated versions can be found at this website ------> http://www.onemanga.com/Full_Metal_Alchemist/1/00/ just scroll through the list and find the ones you haven't read yet ^_^ Hahahahahahaha! So excited!

Two updates in two days, you are brill.

I really loved Ed setting that irritant back in his place, I had really wanted him to give the guy a good smack just for not knowing who he was :)
Roy is such a pillock sometimes, had he just spoken to Ed in the first place none of this would have happened, but of course then there wouldn't have been a story so...catch 22.
The way he's been treating Havoc though is just so un-called for, I kinda want to smack him round the back of the head.

Love the story and I look forward to the next chapter.

Oh wow, I stumbled across this story today and I absolutely love it!!! Especially that last chapter, it was my favorite so far =) I loved all of the emotion in it, especially Al's little temper flair. Makes me wonder why he's so determined to become a State Alchemist. Keep up the great work! Can't wait to read what happens next. I'll check back for updates, most definitely.

My first review of this chapter was lost by my new computer....bad new computer. So this one is not going to be as good as the last one that is now gone forever. Thank you for updating so quickly. I loved how you wrote and handled the scene between Al and Roy. I wish Al could see why it is not a good decision for him to be a state alchmeist. I agree with Roy and Ed that that would be a big mistake. Interesting that Tucker's notes were what caused Ed and Roy to come to quasi-blows. Roy has no clue how much danger his son and kitty are really in. Ed is so cool to come to the aid of all those that are unfortunate. So Ed. I just hope they will be able to save him in time. I know Karen is out there. Somewhere. Cannot wait to see what happens next.

Thanks for updating with chapter 12. Kudos to Gracia for telling (finally) Roy what he did wrong. He really is a bad boyfriend. If he had just told Ed that he had a big secret that he needed to tell him Ed would have gotten over it and would have come to terms. You do things like that when you love someone. Liam is so sweet and so is Al. I loved how Al is loving with everyone but if you make him mad and he thinks you deserve it he will not let you off the hook so easy. Al was always nice to Roy but since Roy hurt his brother he is not so forgiving. Good. Roy is not a bad man he just needs to learn how to trust and love again. He is trying to be a good father and he is doing right--now--by Liam. Everyone is so good to be supporting Ed...I like that. Havoc and Al and Gracia etc are such good friends. Davison (sp?) is a good guy. The Granite Alchemist is lucky that even though he was a bully and an ass Ed did not fully take him down. Ed could have done something really bad to him but he just taught him (hopefully) a lesson. What until Armstrong hears what his man was doing. I think the lessons are not over yet. (Armstrong really cares for the two Elric boys...he watched them grow up etc...he will not be a happy man. Besides his man was rude and Armstrong esp. down the family line is never rude...except for one of his sisters but that is another story.) The family moments with the Mustangs and the Hughes's was nice. Hopefully they will all get to do normal family things more often. Ed will need to make it up to the kids for not "seeing" them..bet Gracia was not fooled and bet Roy was happy to be ignored. Still cannot believe he thinks Ed would already be in a relationship but then lets himself be hurt by the idea. Roy Roy Roy. I am still worried that Karen is still lurking out there somewhere. How is Ed the cat? Fine I hope. Thanks for the update. cat

I absolutely adore this story. It has a lot of substance to it. Very unlike the random smut I often get stuck reading, lol. It only makes me sad that I have to wait to hear the end :( Keep up the excellent work!!! I look forward to the next chapter, and hope for many more to come.

Sorry I did not get to review earlier. Thanks for updating. Good chapter. Ed is so sweet even when he is hurt. I love how he interacts with Liam. The inclusion of the kitty from before their duel was a nice touch. Al and Ed working their differences out makes me happy...Ed and Al separated is a sad thing. I hope Al understands that Ed is just trying to protect him...I agree with Ed..Al has no place in the military. I think Roy does deserve to feel some jealousy and unhappiness regarding Ed. Roy has put Ed and others through a lot and getting a little back is good for him. He can get an idea of how it feels to be on the receiving end but more important it may help him see what he really needs to keep in his life: Ed. Roy is a good man to take care of his son. Before Liam would not have been safe but now he understands that the mother is more unstable and unsafe for her son and stepped up. He is doing what he needs for his son but I worry that Karin will be coming back for more terror. I do not think we have heard the end of her. She is probably plotting her revenge...bet Ed will have something to say about that. Havoc is a good friend...I do not think he was trying to make Roy jealous or putting the moves on Ed...I think he was being a stand up guy. Nice to see that the FMA gang still cares for and takes care Ed. Please continue.
