I love this. Too bad it's not finished. I know you probably won't ever see this, but man oh man, would I love to see this continued.

Damn, this is just... damn.
I haven't read a story that has gotten me this involved with the characters since I can remember. I'd love to see an update sometime in the future. I'm eager to see what everything leads up to for the finale. Please keeping typing. This story is amazing.

It's not terribly written or anything, but why do so many DBZ writers completely ignore the fact that none of the fighters in DBZ can be hurt by bullets? Why?! It doesn't matter if they are only half-Saiyan, or that their guard is down. In Dragonball Krillin continuously got shot almost point-blank on the face by Lunch. Canonically, anyone who is at least as strong as 13-year-old Krillin back in DBZ (a FULL HUMAN who couldn't have taken down Tien or Master Roshi, let alone Raditz) can reflect bullets, even if they are not "on guard". This goes for car-crashes, too. Dragonball Z characters will NEVER, EVER be killed by a car, airplane, or any other crash. They will not be stabbed by a drunk classmate, either.
If Gohan was going to be suicidal, couldn't you have made him slack off during a spar or something instead?

I still get excited when I see this story updated!!!
And this, although a wild twisty ride, was not disappointing. So many dark areas being covered and explored.
There is a little part of me that wonders who will finally grow the balls to step in and say 'enough' if Gohan doesn't do it himself though.
Well done!

Chpt 5- I am really enjoying this story so far. You are a wonderful writer and you have obviously put a lot of thought into your work. This is definitely a different take on Gohan's persona, and your description of his depression along with his beginning addiction to the meds he is taking is very realistic. I really enjoyed the part where he told off that football player. Go Gohan! I just hope he can work out the rest of his problems.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! UPDATE! Ah, I have been wondering about this story. *happy sigh* Ouch to the broken nose caused by a book. Those doctors certianly were very concerned about Gohan's shoulder...well, who wouldn't be.
:) Waking up to warm Derek...I did like that casual moment.
The visit to his parents' house seems to be going rather well. I am sort of surprise, but in a good way.
Eagerly awaiting more of this one!
