I like to read one-shots. It's like everything has to be written and told in just one chapter. And, definitely, this is one of the most lovely one-shots about dbz that feels like needing a little doujin.

Anyway, I just think you should leave this story like this, not adding anything, not connecting to anything -unless to the main dbz plot-, since it's beautiful and better like it is right now. Vegeta's little troubled heart is well portrayed and I don't think it's out of character. It's much alike him.

I like it very much, really. Neat, clear writing style. Improves the fic very much...

I love writing in the person\'s POV, because then it adds more feeling to the story, like you ARE getting inside the person\'s head. I did that with another story of mine, and people seemed to like how I got into that characters head as well.

I probably will write another one in the future, be sure to look out for it =)

Flawless really. I don\'t do songfics, but I found it very appropriate that you put the song Iris at the bottom.. Not trying to coordinate it into the story (as some morons do) but putting it at the bottom to signify that it inspired you. That was very cool. I really liked how personable this was. You seemed to be really exploring the inside of Vegeta\'s mind while making him almost humane, almost like YOU had put yourself in his shoes and were telling the world how you would feel in his situation.

The interaction with Trunks was absolute perfection. It was beautifully done while keeping both in character and even in a few minutes time, it makes you start almost thinking that there was more between Gohan and Trunks then he actually said. I even got slightly emotional when Trunks did, telling how much he cared for Gohan and applying it to Vegeta\'s situation. And I even understand how Vegeta\'s reaction was necessary to him, how sometimes, even well meaning people can upset you when they try to sympathize with your grief by explaining their own.

You kept them marvelously as themselves, yet made it so that the reader could comprehend and yes, even sympathize with how the character felt. You did an absolutely beautiful job and I really enjoyed reading this. A very VERY rare occurrence around this SHIT HOLE!
