Shy Raditz is adorable. Way to go Briefs parents! Mothers always have a way of finding out EVERYTHING about her children. I can't wait to see how Goku and Vegeta will move on from their little misunderstanding. I hope it will be a steamy make-up. AHEM! XD Thank you for the update.

What really reminded me of MLS in this story was the fact that all of the main characters are still in it, and tied to each other, but for different reasons, and circumstances have led to the canon couples not getting together. Of course, a big difference is that yours follows more canonical logic (hence the lack of demis). Also, I think Card didn't use Yamcha because she doesn't like him. Beyond that...yeah, not much similarity. But that was one of the things that I liked about MLS, and it works well in this fic too, though of course I agree it's a simpler story.

As for the water...referring to the breach of etiquette, when you order water, and the way it seemed to play into the dynamic of the scene with Cicely (though I suppose that might not be what you intended, seeing as how the competitors might not be expected to drink alcohol).

GAH! Why must there always be misunderstandings? NOOOOO!!! Yet I love the tension at the same time. Please update soon. I'm dying to find out what Goku and Vegeta will do next to get past the current awkwardness.

Ohhh i read this last night its so cute. Ive never read a dbz story that actualy seemes as if it was writen by someone older than like 12. You gave them intresting personalities and dient stick with their typical dbz attitudes. Kepp updating love to read more. :)

I really didn't think I was going to get into this one all that much, since it's smutless. But it turns out that I am a sucker for a G/V hookup story, and this one is believable to me, despite being strange. In some ways, Vegeta seems OOC, but who knows how he would have turned out in the situation? Frieza taken care of, and no idiot third class kicking his ass to make him go all veiny. And Radditz. LOL! Such a different reunion...and believable, for the same reasons. Your pairings are cute - it's almost a stupid question to ask if you were influenced by Card's MLS on this one (since it's in your recommended reading, last I recall) - but definitely the strangest of them is Bulma and 17!! That cracks me up. Also, your one canon couple is inspired. And one great thing about this fic being smutless is that there won't be any Krillin sex!

Also. Yay for the Monkey's Paw parallels in chapter 1 (pretty sure the fable is way older than that, but that's a nice version of it). Yay for a bunch of little continuity details, but I think my favorite was the water. :)
