Chapter 10


Roy sat on the end of my bed around one am early in the morning after we finished watching our movies. I was laying under the covers on in my boxers now I get to hot if I sleep with to much on. I hope I would be ok then again Alphonse was with my so what did I really have to worry about. “Well Edward I hope you enjoyed today besides a few misshapes?” Roy wondered to me pleasantly he was in his Pj’s as well boxers and a dark blue tank top.
“Mhmm I sure did thank you so much I really appreciate everything,” I agree with him happily then give a yawn I was tired though it felt nice having Roy so near.
“Well your welcome I am glad your being so grateful it’s a good quality to possesses.” Roy said in a content sounding tone.
“Well of course I need to be grateful why shouldn’t I… I mean you have helped me out and believed in me when no one else can… I am not going to start being rude to the only friend I have in this world.” I reach my left hand over and pat Roy on his hand which was resting on the blanket.


Roy smiled seeming very happy with my answers, “Alright Edward I am going to go to bed myself, so I’ll see you in the morning sleep well alright?” He wondered to me softly and made to stand up. I grabbed his hand swiftly I didn’t want him to leave me.
The words slipped from my mouth before I could think, “Please Roy don’t leave me I am scared.”
Roy looked back at me curiously, “what is there to be scared of Edward your old enough to know there is nothing to be afraid of.” He said and slipped his hand from my grasp he stroked my forehead and my head trying to sooth me.
“Well Its just I guess it’s a new place and I never slept in such a nice big room before and It all just makes me nervous.” I admitted to Roy who was giving me a cocked eye brow now.
He sighed “I guess I can see what you mean, but Edward your not alone I am just right down the hallway. This room is just fine I promise don’t you trust me?” Roy then stood up and looked down at me.
“Yes, yes I trust you.” I didn’t know if I trusted myself though I put my arms under the covers. “Your right there isn’t anything to fear sorry I said anything” I rolled on my side with my back to Mustang.
“Nothing to be sorry about but if you do have any problems I suppose you can feel free to come to my room I’d rather you sleep soundly then work yourself into a fuss. It is your first night out after two years.” Roy seemed to be talking this out with himself but out loud. “So don’t worry ok but do try and relax and not worry ok?”
“Alright” I said not turning to look at him again just wanting to get the night over with. “Good night Roy Thanks again for everything.”
“Your welcome Edward Goodnight” Roy then turned on his heals and left the room turning the light off as he went. Well there isn’t much else to tell on this day as my mind allowed me to be a rest for the evening nothing happened worth mentioning so Goodnight.
