Chap 2
Koneka2
Humor/Romance. Rated NC-17. Heres where we depart from the actual storyline and add just a touch of OOC. We all know Vejita is a loner. Having anyone tag along just aint like him. But we also know he has an arrogantly cruel side, and it wouldnt be unlike him to try to show Koneka a lesson. Boy, do I have a surprise for him...
Disclaimer: Dont own em. Wish I did (especially Goku)! *sighs heavily*

Konekas Excellent Vacation, Part 2
He was enjoying this too much. He tightened his grip just the slightest, and I had to stifle a wince. No way was I going to let him think he had succeeded in terrifying me! Time stood still for a nanosecond and every nerve in my body was on edge. His hands were rough there was no denying the strength in that grip. Little black dots skipped across my vision and I felt pulled into his ebony orbs his pupils were large, like he was high. I know I was!
Then he suddenly let go, making me stumble back a half step and pulling a snicker from him.
All right, he said. Ill entertain you. Lets see what youre made of.
Vejita, Krillin said quietly.
Keep your shirt on, cueball. The fun is just beginning. Vejita nodded toward the television, and everyone turned their attention to it.
And there was Cell announcing a tournament. Terrified announcers and crew cowered behind him. I felt sorry for the cameraman, who must have been shaking the camera was jiggling uncontrollably.
Oh, man, Yamcha said. Ten days. Well, Im gonna train! How about you, Krillin?
Sure, why not?
Vejita was laughing. What makes you think you weaklings can fight Cell? Just leave him to me. I dont need your help!
I had plopped down next to Trunks again. Hes pretty full of himself, isnt he.
Trunks snorted. You dont know the half of it. My father is...
Your father? I just gaped at him, my head swiveling back and forth from father to son.
Shut up, boy! Thats none of her business!
See? he whispered. Anyway, its a long story. Im not from this time.
Huh?
He laughed and shrugged. I was beginning to feel like Id walked into the Twilight Zone. Trunks rolled to a sitting position and shook his long lavender hair, gathering it behind him into a ponytail for a second before letting it swing loosely again.
My heart went pitty-pat. Krillin laughed. I wished hed stop watching me!
Well, you can do what you want, Vejita said, but I train alone. He smirked. However, you can come along. He crooked his finger at me and I nearly swooned. Damn him! He was not going to do this to me!
I jumped to my feet. Great! When do we start?
Ha ha! Hold on, tiger! The swaggering prince went back upstairs and moments later appeared dressed for battle. God, I loved him in spandex!
Ready? he growled lowly.
I followed him outside. I saw Roshi watching from an upstairs window with a toothless grin. Krillin was leaning out the downstairs window, grinning and snickering. Yamcha and Trunks stood on the porch with their arms folded.
Vejita put one arm firmly around my back and drew me close. His breath was warm on my face, my heart was hammering the Ode To Joy against my ribs.
Hold on, he whispered, smirking. I threw my arms around his neck and we were off!
A blast of warm air hit my back as I watched the little pink house and the island disappear in a flash. He poured on the speed the force of it plastered my body against him and shifted me a little so that I could peek over his shoulder. A white-gold trail of energy whistled behind us. My long curly hair was standing out straight behind me as we climbed vertically into the clouds so high that I thought I could touch heaven!
I finally looked at him with delight, and he was smiling genuinely. He was so handsome it was tempting to kiss him. I settled my chin on his shoulder and was content with feeling the slow steady beat of his heart against my palm as our race through the clouds ate up the scenery below. We were like two birds savoring freedom! I had no idea where we were going, and I didnt care.
All I knew was that this was going to be my best vacation ever!
