~~Five months later~~
93% of OZ labs have been dismantled, there metal were melted down to form useful steel rods to build apartment complexes of to build office buildings, but only 40 % of the Dr.'s labs have been found and destroyed. It was taking too long. Heero was hacking into the Dr.'s database, but then all files has been permanently deleted, wiped clean of all their existence.
~~Eight months later~~
A huge explosion racked through the tiny laboratory well hidden underground. Dr. G looked up in surpri
"What is going on here" the doctor said as he switched on his emergency cameras just to catch a glimpse of many men entering the hatch of the underground lab and the faces of the four ex-Gundam pilots that come to haunt him.
"No! they can't come now! Not when my experiment is almost completed!" another explosion broke through he lab. Without anymore thoughts, Dr. G fled. His life was more important right now.
**Outside**
Heero stood outside the latch of Dr.G's underground lab. It took two months to find, but it was only by pure accident. There was a hint of small traces of activities taking place by small traces of electricity leaking into the lab. Heero didn't know that this pure accident would change the four preventers' lives forever and shock the preventers' headquarters.
The preventers in charge of the operation entered the lab. Trowa turned to one of the preventer agents named Jones and told him to radio ahead.
"Yes sir" the Jones said, taking out the radio and calling to the head of the pact. The radio cracked, but a voce came through.
"Davis here, do you copy Jones?"
"Jones here, I copy, what is the status, repeat, what is the status?"
"Oh my god..." was heard from the other line from Davis.
"What is the status Davis?" Jones asked again.
"You better bring Agent Wing over to check this out, better yet, bring all four of them over. You are not going to believe this" Davis said on the other end.
"Is the path cleared and protected?" Jones asked.
"Ah. Yes, green light" Davis said.
Jones turned to the four preventers who were put in charge of the operation. "Davis found something up front, he wants you four to check it out. I don't' know what the status or details are, but, it must be very important for higher authority sir" Jones said.
"Hai, Let's move in then" Heero said leading the group deep into the dimly lit hallway. They arrived at their destination to meet a wall of preventers 'swat team' surrounding something and blocking their view.
Agent Davis hurried forward and gave the four agents a salute.
"Status now!" Wufei barked.
"There isn't any words to describe it sir, you better take a look for yourself" Davis said, clearing the way so that the top four agents could see what was in the center of the room.
What they saw made them freeze. They had finally found whom they were looking for in so long, but not in the condition they had hoped for.
Davis looked at the four agent whom haven't responded ever since seeing the body on the cold metal table; pale and non-responsive, probably dead. When Davis first laid eyes on the body, he couldn't help but imagine that the boy, when alive must have looked stunning.
The silence was broken with the crack of the radio. Heero stumbled forward. He couldn't believe it. After three years oarcharching, they finally found Duo, dead? Heero hurried to the body and looked for any signs of life. There didn't seem to be any behind all the scars and cuts on the pale skin.
"Check for a pules Heero!" Quatre shouted as he headed out with Trowa, "We're going to contact Sally and Une!"
Heero nodded and checked. He couldn't find one and started to panic.
"Move aside Yuy, your concentration is breaking, your feelings are surfacing" Wufei told Heero who moved reluctantly.
Wufei took a hold of Duo's thin writs and closed his eyes. When they suddenly snapped open again, he quickly wrapped Duo's cold body with the sheet and lifted Duo up.
"Heero! He's still alive," Wufei said. Heero hearing this looked up, "take him Heero, I'll wrap up this operation and see what else I find that would help us determine what has happened to Duo" Wufei said.
"Hai" was all Heero could get out as he took Duo out of Wufei hold and ran out of the lab. Outside he was met with Quatre and Trowa's worried looks.
"We need to take him to the nearest hospital now!" Heero demanded hopping into the preventers supplied car along with Quatre and Trowa who drove off with top speed.
~~Hospital~~
The three preventers waited for the results. It still hasn't registered in their minds that they finally found Duo after all these years. Wufei was on his way after not finding anymore information and Quatre had already contacted Sally about their findings.
Sally was so overjoyed that she couldn't concentrate at all in her medical office. She took a day off and rushed down to meet the boys at the hospital. Une practically scared the shit out of everyone in preventers' headquarters when she couldn't stop smiling. Who would have thought a simple clean up would turn up a treasure. What they didn't know was that it was just the beginning of their problems.
